Chapter Three
Two years have passed since Tora's arrival to the Temple of Dragon Flames and in that time, he has become a Blade of Judgment. He was to be put in the Temple of Silent Quickening. He truthfully wasn't looking forward to it.
He had spent his time training hard, thinking that the Digimon Hunters represented all things that were good in the world. He found out he was wrong.
“What do mean Blaze… no Digimon?” Tora wiped the sweat for his forehead. “If we're not Tamers, then what are we?”
“It is just like the name says.” Blaze put down his weapon and sat down on the ground. “We hunt down Digimon… and we destroy them.”
Tora looked pissed. “This is ridiculous, why are we killing Digimon?” Tora threw his katana to the ground and turned away from Blaze. “What have they done to deserve death?”
Blaze looked confused and worried for his lover. “Tora, didn't Genai tell what the main goal of the Hunters. We are to cleanse the world of the evil that is the digital monsters.”
Tora went from pissed off, too a blubbering mess. “You don't actually believe that, do you?” He said with tears streaming down his face. “It sounds like a whole lot of Nazi bullshit to me.”
Blaze got up from the ground and went to Tora. He looked down at Tora so as to look him in his eyes. “I am not to keen on killing Digimon either.”
“Are you saying… you haven't killed any?” Tora stared in to Blaze's eyes to look for any sign of lying.
“I give you my word as a human being and as you lover, I have never killed a Digimon in my life.” Blaze pulled Tora in and held him close. “I have feeling things are going to get rough `little tiger'. I only hope I'm wrong.”
“I feel the same way.” Tora closed his eyes and once again, savored the sweet embrace of Blaze.
Present Time
Tora knew what he had to do. He had a plan to destroy the Temple of Silent Quickening since he was promoted as the `Blade of Judgment'… `The Blade of Death'. However, he needed help and he knew he couldn't do it alone. “Please, oh spirits from above… give me your guidance.” He said to himself think no one was around. As fate would have it, no one is truly alone when people pray to whoever they believe in.
“What's a matter `little tiger'… are you nervous?” Blaze asked standing right behind him.
Tora was used his random appearance. “No, I am going to do what I planned to do. I am going to destroy the Temple of Silent Quickening.”
“What, you can't be serious?” Blaze stepped back from Tora in a state of shock. “You try to destroy the Temple and you will be as good as dead.”
“So, are you saying you are going to stop me?” Tora's voice sounded deep and cold as the artic winds.
“No, I just don't want you to die.” Blaze started to tear up. It wasn't a thing you got see Blaze do… ever. “I love you Tora. We can run away together and go back to the human world. We can even live amongst the Digimon.”
“And what Blaze, watch as our friends from the Temples slaughter them?” Tora was focused and ready but he hated seeing Blaze in a state of emotional pain. “I won't do it right away, I will…”
“Tora, are you ready to go?” A hunter called out to him. “The Trailmon is ready for your departure.”
Tora looked at Blaze. He walked up to his lover and for the first time pulled the taller boy closer to him in a warm embrace. “I won't die, for the sake of the Digital world and for the sake honor… I won't fail.” He gently pulled Blaze's head down and kissed him on the forehead. Then, he left for the Trailmon leaving a speechless Blaze behind.
Blaze walked away, heading for room that He and Tora shared their most intimate moments together. He put his hands in his pockets and found a folded piece of paper. He unfolded it and there in detailed hand writing wrote, `I love you too.' “How the hell did he…? You're such a bastard.” Blaze smiled as looked back to where was just standing with his lover. “I know you'll come back alive. That soul of yours burns bright, `little tiger'.”
