Chapter 2: It's In The Past

(3 Months after Davis left)

(Davis was getting off the bus with Destiny walking her home. Tommorow was when school started back up and Davis would not be going to his new school single.)

(FLASHBACK: 1 month ago.)

(Destiny and Davis had just got done playing soccer.)

Destiny: "Great game Davis, I didn't know you could play that good."

Davis: "Thanks. You were pretty good out there yourself."

Destiny: "Thanks." (There was a short silence).....umm..Davis what do you think about me."(Davis was caught off guard by this, but he still didn't have to think about his response.)

Davis: "I think your a very beautiful, sweet, and very kind person why"

Destiny: "Well... I ..I was kind of wondering if you felt the same way as I feel for you"(Davis was a little shocked but none the less.)

Davis: "And how do you fell about me."(Davis asked her almost like he had already known.)

Destiny: "I..ummm...kinda like you."(Destiny stood perfectly still awaiting his answer)

Davis: "Ohh.. well I do."

Destiny: " You do?"

Davis: "Yup, since when we first met I knew that I had feelings for you and my feelings only grew stronger as the days past I was just too shy to tell you. Now I have a question."(Destiny was so exceited she just wanted to hug Davis on the spot, but decieded to see what his question was first.)

Destiny: "Okay. What is it"

Davis: "Will you be my girlfriend."(Destiny to exceited tackled Davis to the ground in a hug.)

Destiny: "Of course I will."

(END FLASHBACK)

(Davis walked Destiny home and then went home himself. He was a bit disappointed that his family wasn't home when he called from the airport. Yet at least he might have the house to himself for awhile without his sister pestering him for gifts him got from America. Davis walked in his house and flicked a light on.)

SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!

(Davis jumped and almost fell back. His Mom, Dad, Grandpa, Grandma, and Jun were all well at home. they had planned a welcome home party.)

Davis: "Wow! Thanks guys."

Ms. Motomiya: "It was Jun's idea"(Davis laughed)

Davis: "Thats funny. Really who came up with the idea."(Everyone looked at Davis with a serious look and he stopped laughing.)"Woah! Really Jun...hmm...well then how come she never threw a welcome home party for you and dad."

Jun: "Hey everybody lets have some cake" (Jun said changing the subject.)

(They had cake and ice cream. Davis told them about what he did at the camp and his new girlfriend. Everyone was shocked especially Jun. They talked somemore then his Grandparents left ciz it was getting late. Davis said his goodbye and went to his room where he found Demiveemon sleep he decided not to wake him, it look as if Jun had tooken good care off his digimon friend, and then he went to sleep.)

(Davis got up at.......7:30! It was his first day of school and he was going to be late. He got up took a shower, got dressed, skipped breakfast and was about to leave until.....)

DemiVeemon: "Davis! Welcome back!"

Davis: "Ohh...DemiVeemon. Hey how was your summer."

DemiVeemon: "It was okay except when Jun made me watch romance movies with her. How was your summer."

Davis: "Can I tell you when I get back from school I'm kinda late>'

DemiVeemon: "Okay. Bye Davis"

Davis: "See ya DemiVeemon."(Davis then left for Destiny's house and turns out she was late too so things sorta worked out.)

(When they got there they went and got there scheldules Davis had Algerbra, Science, Gym, Economics, Lunch, Art, and Spanish. Destiny had Art, French, Algerbra, Economics, Lunch, Geography, and Gym.)

Destiny: "Looks like we got two classes together."

Davis: "Yup, Economics and Lunch. Though I doubt they count lunch as a class."(they both laughed a little and Davis began walking Destiny to her class but was stopped by someone calling his name from across the hall)

Ken: Davis!

Davis: Ken!(Ken and Yolei were together and they walked over to Davis and Destiny)

Yolei: "Hey Davis whos the girl."

Davis: "Ohh I like you guys to meet my girlfriend, thats right girlfriend, Destiny."

Destiny: "Hi"(Ken and Yolei were shocked but then Ken retaliatedwith his own suprise)

Ken: "I'm happy for you and I have something to tell you myself. I'd like you to meet my girlfriend Yolei." (Davis wasn't as shocked as Ken wanted him to be.)

Davis: "So how long."

Ken: "About a week after you left."

Yolei: "Speaking of which where did you go Ken won't tell me."

Davis: "Ohh I went to America"(The bell rung and They all took off for their classes. to Davis' and Ken's suprise they both had all the same classes. Yole had Science, Algerbra, Gym, Lunch, French, Art, and Geography.)

(Davis and Ken walked into class. It was filled with kids talking and moving around. They had found two seats next to each other and sat in them. Thats when they noticed two very familiar faces walking in...)

Kari: "Hi Ken!"

T.K.: "Wassup Ken."

Ken: "Hey guys."

T.K.: "Who is that guy sitting next to you"

Davis: "Shut-up T.B."

Kari: "Davis!"(She ran up to him and gave him a tight hug that lasted a secound longer the T.K. wanted it to.)"Where the hell were you."

Davis: "I was in America."

Kari: "Why didn't you tell anyone."

Davis: "Cuz I kinda wanted to concentrate more on soccer without any distractions, I thought you guys might try to contact me if you knew were I was at and that would cause a distraction,"(Davis lied).

Kari: "Ohhh well..."(she was cut off as the teacher entered)

???: "Okay class I'm Mr. Love and welcome to Odaiba High."(He talked through the whole class period After class Davis and Ken looked at T.K.'s and Kari's schedules. T.K. had Algerbra, Gym, Science, Art, Lunch, Economics, and French. Kari had Algerbra, Art, Gym, Spanish, Lunch, Geography, Science. When It got time for gym class Kari had a little talk with Davis about his summer.)

Kari: "So Davis how was your summer?"

Davis: "It was fun. So you and T.K. made up?"

Kari: "Wha! How did you know he was mad at me?"

Davis: "Yolei told me, but see didn't say why though."

Kari: "Ohh..well yeah we made up. Speaking of Yolei where is she you said she had this class."

Davis: "Don't know she must be late"

Kari: "Sounds like you."(They shared a short laugh.)

Davis: "So how was...."(Kari was giggling) "Whats so funny now?"

Kari: "I just notice that your talking to me again."

Davis: "Ohh that."(Davis scracted the back of his head.) "I'm over that and besides it all in the past."

Kari: "I'm glad and I'm sorry for not telling you about me and T.K."

Davis: "Don't worry about it. As long as your happy then I'm happy."(Kari blushed a little)

Kari: 'Davis has changed over the summer he seems more mature and....attractive. Wow I guessed I never notice how cute he is when he not being annoying. But there is something else different about him.'

Davis: "Ohh Kari theres something I gotta tell ya"

Kari: "Okay what is it."

Davis: "I have a girlfriend."

Kari: 'I knew it!' "So who is she."

Davis: "Her name is Destiny I'll introduce you two after school if you want to."

Kari: "Sure!"

(After they met the gym teacher Mr.Aimly they went back to talking except Yolei was with them this time. They didn't ask where she was because they knew she was probably with Ken. After school Davis met with Kari, T.K., Ken, and Yolei and they were going to meet up with Destiny.)

Davis: "There she is! Hey Destiny!"(When Kari saw her she imediately thought....)

Kari: 'She's got nothing on me.'(Yolei saw the look in Kari's eyes. It was a look of jealousy.)

Yolei: 'Hmm...Kari is jealous but why. Well at least I see why Davis forgave Kari so easy shes a nice looking girl.'(mean while Destiny was looking at Kari walking towards the group and was thinking....)

Destiny: 'So thats the bitch that broke Davis' heart. Well she ain't got nothing on me'( she then met up with the group.)

Davis: "Destiny this is T.K. and Kari. guys this is Destiny."

T.K.: "Hi."

Destiny: "Hi."

Kari: "Hi Destiny" 'Like thats your real name. Who would name their child that.'

Destiny: "Hello Kari" 'Damn she is flat chested'

(Everyone their could feel the tension between them as they looked at each other.)

Destiny: "So we finally meet."
