Chapter 4 Tomoki's Invitation

The next day, Takuya san comes by, just like he
promised, and brings Tomoki, Izumi san, and Junpei.
"How are you feeling?" He asks, a little concerned. "A
lot better now," I reply, smiling. "Good," Takuya san
says. "Cause I was really worried." "You don't have to
worry now,"I say. "Takuya san?" "Nani?" He asks. "Did
you tell Kouji san I was sick?" I ask. "Iie," Takuya san
answers."Doshite?"

"Because he came over to my house to take care of me
yesterday."

"Really?"

"Hai."

"That's nice of him."

"Sounds like Kouji san really likes you," Izumi san says
smirking. I get embarrassed. "He only likes me as a
friend."Yeah right." Izumi san's smirk grows into a
mischievous grin. "Whatever you say", I say, laughing.
"Yorande san?" Tomoki asks. "Yeah, Tomoki?" I ask.
"Can you come to my birthday party next week?" He
asks.

"You're having a party?"

"Hai."

"How old are you gonna be?"

"9."

"That's good."

"Arigato."

"Do itashimashite. I think I can come, but I have to ask
Takashi san first."

"O.K."

Just then, Takashi san opens the door and peeks
inside. "How is everything going?" She asks. "Fine," I
reply. "Tomoki's having a birhday party next week."
"Really?" Takashi san asks. "How old are you going to
be?" "9 years old," He replies. "May I go?" I ask. "What
time is the party?" She asks. "2:30 P.M." Tomoki
answers. "Hai, you may go," Takashi san says. "We'll
have to go shopping, Yorande chan." I nod. Takashi
san closes the door. "Everything's set, Tomoki," I say.
He smiles. "Hai." "Party, baby!" Takuya san exclaims. "Yeah!"
We all laugh.
