Digimon Fan Fiction ❯ Thy Heart is Thy Mind ❯ Undying Love: Two ( Chapter 11 )

<What about Junpei>? This caused Kouji to frown. That was a good question. Where was Junpei? Shouldn't he know about this too? That his Angel is really now an angel?
"At least they'll be together now." Ying Ying said as she walked out.
What?
Both of them are dead? Now that changes thing. Wait. Didn't Izumi say that Junpei had cancer? Now why would Izumi do this to Takuya? Takuya. That's right! He turned his head causing his eyes to widen; to see his koi standing there, his face dark, his shoulders shaking ... how could Izumi do this to me? What did I ever do to her? All I wanted to was help knowing how to say just three little words ... and I didn't get to say thank you for helping me get the one person I love ... I didn't thank her for a lot of things she did for me! By know tears where coming down his face. How could I have been so selfish!
Feeling a hand on his shoulder, Takuya turned his head to see his koi looking sadly at him. I don't deserve this, the burnette thought looking away, maybe I should just stay the way I am and put that money in better use instead of spending it all on me. <I want to go home now>. Takuya sighed looking back at his koi and Mrs. Right. <Don't you want to hear>? Malta looked worried. She knew that he was upset, but what made him change his mind? <What made you change your mind>? Kouji was worried too. He never liked seeing his love like this. <Can't we go home now>? <You don't have to be afraid> Kouji started; <you know that I'll be right here for you>. <I know>, Takuya sighed; <I just wish I wasn't so selfish>. The two looked at him for one moment. <What makes you think that>, Kouji walked slowly up to his koi, <Takuya>, <your not selfish>.
Takuya looked questionly at his boyfriend for one moment as he walked up. <Of course I'm selfish>. <I never thanked Izumi for anything she did for me>. By know fresh new tears came down Takuya's face. Kouji pulled his koi close running his fingers through his hair. Mrs. Right sighed and sat down. Why did bad things always had to come around when things started to look so hopeful from the start? That's the one thing she hated. When bad things came unexpected. She looked at the two and smiled knowing that if one is sad or depressed, the other would be there to comfort the other.
The burnette finally looked at his koi and straighten up .... It's now or never .... I just hope he understands. <Kouji>. <I have something I've been really wanting to tell you>. Here goes nothing ...
"K - Kouji --- I ---"
Kouji looked at him in shock. Did Takuya just speak? Mrs. Right also looked shocked whom had merely jumped out her skin. It took a few moments for the burnette to get the rest out ....
"I ...wove ....u."
A sniff came from the right. Kouji turned to see Mrs. Right standing there with a proud look on her face as she held a napkin to her eye as a tear fell on it. Takuya turned to see what his koi was looking at and saw the same thing.
"Ahra ..." <You understood me>? Kouji looked softly at his koi as he moved some strands from his face. <It was a little scratchy>. This caused Takuya's face to change from hope to disappointment. He then turned and sat down on one of the empty rows of chairs. Why couldn't he do anything right? Now his koi is probably laughing inside hearing how pathetic he sounds.
Kouji stepped up and bent down to one knee as Takuya looked at him. <I love you too>. <Yes>. <But I wanted to tell you coming from right here>. Takuya let out a sad say as he pointed to his heart, <and not from my hands>. Kouji looked warmly at his boyfriend <Your so sweet.>.
"Hate to interrupt but the nurse is here."
Kouji walked into a corner room and expected to see his koi the same way he was with the first time. He walked to the right side of the bed as their hands joined as he squeezed it lightly. He could tell that Takuya was nervous, he could feel his hand shaky. Kouji smiled warmly at his koi as he bent closer and kissed tenderly on the lips. That seamed to relax him; after pulling away, still holding onto Takuya's hand and sat next to him. After a moment, Kouji let go. <I'll stay right here until you fall asleep>. This caused to smile as the dark haired boy reached out and ran his fingers through the brunette's hair.
