[ P - Pre-Teen ]

In a blinding flash of blue and green light, each person was spinning in what seemed like a warp pool.

The next thing Tai knew, he was on his back, with his eyes closed.

“Tai.......... Tai........?”

Tai knew someone was calling him, but he strained to keep his eyes shut.

“Tai...?”

Tai opened his eyes.

All he could see was a big pink thing, with big brown eyes, and long ears, staring down at him.

Tai stood up in a snap.

“I'm your friend, I'm your friend, I'm your friend!” The pink head said, happily, bouncing up and down.

“Uh... what exactly are you?” Tai asked, looking bewildered.

The pink head bounced around him. Apparently, he didn't hear him.

“Everything's gonna be alright now, Tai! I've been waiting for you!”

It bounced right at his chest. Tai caught it with his hands.

“Ah! Waiting for me?!”

The pink head nodded.

“My name's Koromon! It means brave little warrior. Don't forget it, Tai!”

Tai held it with one hand, and gave it a little pat on the head.

“Well, we better start finding other people.” Tai said to Koromon, looking around.

Tai walked into a small forest, trying to find some other friends. They were walking for about 3 seconds, when someone yelled,

“Tai!”

Tai looked to his left.

“Tai!” shouted Izzy running towards him.

“Hey, Izzy, do you know where everyone is?” Tai asked.

“Don't mind that now. I've already got something to worry about.” Izzy said, looking like he had just eaten something poisonous.

“Allow me to introduce myself.” Something said, in a babyish voice.

A pink, gooey thing with big brown eyes, walked to them, and stood next to Izzy.

“My friends call me Motimon!”

“Get it away from me!”

“Don't worry, Izzy, they're friendly. I've got one too.”

Tai pointed to Koromon.

“Koromon!” Motimon exclaimed.

“Hi, Motimon!” Koromon smiled.

“Well, we better start finding more people.” said Tai.

Out of nowhere, they heard a roar.

“What was that?” Tai asked, his mouth hanging open.

“Quick, get inside!” Motimon said.

He went inside a tree.

The other two had no objections. They went inside the magic tree.

Everyone was quiet for a while.

“I don't hear anything.” Izzy whispered.

“I think they're gone.” Koromon said.

They stepped out. No one was there.

“That's strange.” Izzy said, frowning.

They heard footsteps.

“Someone's coming!” Tai gasped.

Sora came, followed by a pink plant.

“Hey, Tai. Hi, Izzy.” She said, smiling.

“I am enchanted to meet you, friends of Sora.” The pink plant said.

“Meet Yokomon.” Sora said, bending down and smiling at her.

Suddenly, a white thing, that looked like a puppy, with pink cheeks, jumped out to them.

“Hey, T.K, over here.” It said in a robot-like voice.

T.K went over to him, and laughed. “You're faster than anything! What's your name, anyway?”

“I am Tokomon.” He said in the same robot voice.

Just then, they heard a small scream, and Mimi came, running at them. She sat on the ground on her knees.

A green plant bounced out of the trees, and sat next her.

“Don't worry.” It said “Tanemon's here to protect you.”

Matt came in with a furry, horned, head in his arms.

“Hi, Matt,” Mimi said. “Who's that?”

“Hm? This guy?” Matt said.

“Hello, you appear pleasant.” It said. “Tsunomon is my name, and I am quite pleased to meet you.”

“OAAAAAAAAAOOAAAAAAAHHH!”

Joe came running in, with what looked like a small brown dragon flying beside him.

“Joe?” Tai said, looking confused.

Joe stopped when he reached them, and gasped for breath.

“This thing-this thing, it won't leave me alone!” he panted.

“Hey, who are you calling a thing?” A baby voice said. Joe cracked open one eye.

The Dragon smiled, and climbed on his shoulder. “The name's Bukamon!”

“What are you guys, anyway?” Tai asked Koromon, who was on the floor.

“We're...” Bukamon said. He flew down with the other monsters.

“Digimon!” They all said in unison. “Digital Monsters!”

“And you guys are called Digidestinds.” Tokomon said.

“Hey!”

Everyone turned.

“Hey guys!”

Davis was running to them, with the other Digidestinds.

When they caught up with them, Matt asked them a question.

“So, who are your Digimon?”

Yolei answered first.

“Oh! Mine is a bird named Poromon!”

“Upamon is very cute and bouncy.” Cody said.

“Demiveemon rocks my world!” Davis said proudly.

“Minnomon is mine.” Ken said.

“Salamon is so cute.” Kari said in a squeak.

“Okay, you midgets.” Tai said. “We're called the Digidestinds now.”

“We know... whatever your name is.” Yolei said. “Our digimon told us.”

“We're...” Upamon repeated.

“Digimon!” They all said in unison. “Digital monsters!”

“So, where do we go?” Ken asked.

“I dunno.” Tai replied. “Maybe we should just search.”
