Twenty-four Hours

Chapter Four: The other Side of the Glass

Throbbing pain shot threw his chest as he felt tinny hands shake his hand. Lee opened his eyes to see Terriermon sighing of relief that he wasn't dead. The young tamer got to his feet to see Kenta walk by saying hello then stopped dead merely chocking as he turned around.

"Lee? How did you get here so fast? You're supposed to be at the hospital in a coma ..."

Lee just stood there feeling sort of dizzy when Renamon appeared. She looked just fine with great shock in her eyes as Ruki ran up stopped dead in her tracks.

All the tamers sat there in shock as Lee told the whole story. The howl time as the young invader this-world-Takato blinking as he sat next to his girlfriend Juri, he couldn't picture himself like that and besides this-world-Lee loved this-world-Ruki.

"Lee ... Lee can you hear me ...."

Everyone blinked as Mr. Jenrya's voice came threw the watch.

"I hear you loud and clear. Go ahead."

"The next portal will come until tomorrow night. I don't know when but my computer says that it will be located at the park."

"Thanks dad. I'll be there."

Great! I have to spend a half a day here. He looked back at his boyfriend for one moment before he walked out. This-world-Ruki got to her feet and followed Lee out, he turned about to say something but stopped to see confusion in her eyes.

".... I was hoping that was all a dream that my Lee-chan would wake up and hold me again ...."

"Well, this isn't what I thought either. I just came to another world .... you, Kenta, Hirokazu, Takato, and Guilmon are dead but Calumon, Renamon and Juri .... they are the only one's to make it."

"Oh ...." Was all she could say.

"Uh ... can I ask you a question?" Lee finally asked

"Go for it."

"How long has Takato and Juri been going out?"

"They've been going out for year now. Impmon and Calumon where the one's who help them realize that they loved each other." She answered.

"Can I ask you another question?"

"I guess."

"How did I end up in a coma?"

"You really want to know?"

Lee nodded his head.

"Okay. Just promise me that you wont flip out."

"I'll try not to."

Ruki took a deep breath and started.

"It started about a week ago .... when your sister died ..." She explained great pain flashed threw her eyes, "you started to slip after that ..... I came to your apartment just four days ago and I found you unconscious on the floor ... you slipped into a coma after that."

Lee sat his shaking body on the ground. My god, he thought, Suzie's dead ... get a hold of your self! This is just another reality ... this is not real! He then looked up the sky saying that he was sorry what's going on. Ruki smiled a little saying that he didn't have to feel sorry ... she had Renamon, Calumon and the others to support her.

"Come on Terriermon," the young tamer said getting to his feet, "we better find a place to stay."

"You can stay in my place," Said Guilmon walking up, Calumon sitting on his head.

Terriermon just looked at his friend with great pain his eyes as his tamer said thank you. They followed the Digimon to the park to the old shack. Lee sat there rubbing his arms watching the sun go down when he heard foot steps coming up the steps. He got to his feet walked to the entrance to that it was this-world-Takato; blankets in his arms.

"Guilmon said that you where going to stay here so I thought some blankets for ya."

"Thanks." the other tamer responded not wanted to look at his boyfriend.

"Lee, look," this-world-Takato said putting the blankets down, "I'm sorry if we all gave you weird looks or vibes this is shocking to us that's all.

"Believe me Takato-cha --- Takato, I feel the same way."

With no other words, Lee watched his boyfriend leave. I can't believe that I almost called him Takato-chan ... I just hope this Takato didn't notice.

Lee looked down at his D-R as it beeped. The other tamers right by his side looking at their D-R's too. Takato's D-R was the first to make double beeping. They all followed him to the middle of the park to see the same phenomenon as before, Lee put his sunglass on turned saying thank you for the help. They all nodded their heads to as Ruki said that he should hurry. Lee turned and jumped into the beam.

The young Tamer kept on fallen as he closed his eyes putted his D-R to the middle of his chest. Hang on just a little long Takato-chan, I'm going to bring you back and make it up to you. He was so deep in thought that he didn't realize that his D-R has created a force-field around him and his partner.

The force-field popped. Lee opened his eyes to here the sound of cares

then

"Look out!"

He turned his head to see him running up and pushing him out of the way of a moving car that was coming toward him and Terriermon. Lee was thrown so hard that his arm was scraped as soon as he hit the pavement feeling Takato's body right on top of him when they hit the ground.

Lee looked up groggily at his angle before everything turned dark ....
