Dragon Ball/Z/GT Fan Fiction ❯ Amara ❯ First Date ( Chapter 5 )
Chapter Five- First Date
Trunks had looked all over the house for Amara. He was beginning to suspect that she wasn't even in the building. He walked past an open door and noticed something moving out of the corner of his eye.
He turned and entered the lounge. He caught sight of Amara standing on the balcony. She had her hands resting against it and was leaning slightly over the edge. The wind made her dark hair sway.
Trunks inched towards her. She hadn't been there before, but he was glad he'd found her.
Amara stared off into the distance. She discovered that she could see much of the city up on the balcony. She was just about to turn and leave when she felt two strong arms curve around her waist.
She turned her head and saw that it was Trunks. She sighed and leaned against him. "What do you want?"
He laughed. "It's nice to see you, too."
She smiled. "I didn't mean it that way."
"I know," he said.
She tried to pull away from him and he released her. She turned and faced him. She was a few inches shorter than Trunks.
"Do you think I look odd?"
"No, why?" he asked.
"My tail," she said. "It's gone."
He looked down at her. "You look fine without it. You're just as beautiful as you were before."
Amara hadn't stopped complaining about her tail since the day the doctors removed it and that had been a week ago.
"You really think so?" she asked, almost earnestly.
"Yes," he said. "And it doesn't make you any less of a Saiyan, so don't worry."
She kissed his cheek and began to walk off. Trunks caught her arm and she turned.
"Wait!" he cried. "What do you say about letting me take you out on a date tonight?"
Her eyes widened. "Sure, I have no objections."
He let go of her arm. "All right then."
~~~
Everything was set up for that night. Trunks had called Goten and told him to bring his girlfriend and meet Amara and him at the Fair. Then they would go to the beach. There was nothing more romantic than the beach at night.
Bra was helping Amara get ready for her date. Amara ended up wearing a pair of black leather pants, a red halter-top, and a leather jacket to match the pants. A pair of black leather boots completed the outfit.
"Are you sure this isn't too much black?" Amara asked.
"No way," Bra said. "You look great in red and black."
Bra fixed Amara's hair up in a bun. Two black bangs hang down just above her eyes because they wouldn't fit into the bun.
"What's with all the leather?"
Bra's eyes sparkled. "I heard that Trunks and you are going to the Fair via motorcycle. If you're on a motorcycle, you've got to wear leather!"
"Why's that?"
Bra hesitated. "You just do! Trust me, you'll look cool."
Amara laughed. "All right, I'm going to trust you."
"Now for the make-up."
"Make-up?!"
"Sure," Bra said, pulling out a tube of red lipstick. "You're very pretty all ready, but…" She looked at Amara who was trying to slink away. "Oh come on! Just let me apply some lipstick and eye shadow. I won't do anything too extreme, I promise."
Amara sighed. "Okay. Just don't make me look like a clown."
When Bra was finished she handed Amara a mirror. "There."
"Wow," Amara said. "I look pretty good. Thanks."
"No problem," Bra said. "Now get down there and have fun!" She paused and lowered her voice. "But don't have too much fun…or at least use protection." She winked.
"What?" Amara asked.
Bra giggled.
"Protection against what?"
Bra fell over. "You mean you don't know?"
Amara blinked at her. "Don't know…"
"About sex?" Bra whispered.
It was Amara's turn to fall over. "Of course I do! That's not what you said though!"
"Protection," Bra said. "As in a condom…"
Amara stared at her with a blank expression on her face.
"…so that you don't end up pregnant."
"Oh." Amara said.
"I guess they didn't have those on your planet," Bra said. "I can't believe it. Oh well, it doesn't matter." Her eyes glinted. "Trunks knows all about it."
Amara frowned. "Who said I was going to have sex with your brother?"
"No one," Bra said. "I was just kidding. Hurry up and get out there or you'll be late."
"Bye," Amara said, running out of the room.
~~~
Trunks looked up to see Amara enter the room. His mouth fell open in a gape. Amara looked just as shocked.
Trunks was wearing leather boots, pants and jacket. His shirt was dark blue.
Trunks laughed. "I guess we match."
Amara went over to him. He looked down into her eyes. "That's not a bad thing, though."
She smiled and touched his cheek. He took her hand in his.
"Come on, we better leave now," he said. "My best friend and his girlfriend are meeting us."
Bra was right; Trunks and Amara did take his motorcycle. Outside of Capsule Corp. Trunks had handed Amara a helmet on put one on his head. They cruised out on the streets and had been riding for about ten minutes.
They were on a four-lane street. The traffic was light, and Trunks and Amara had the advantage of weaving in between the cars. Trunks looked over a spotted a convertible. It caught his attention because it was neon yellow.
To his surprise, Goten was sitting in the driver's seat. His girlfriend, Stella, was sitting beside him.
Trunks smiled.
It must have been one of Stella's cars. Kami knew she had dozens of them. Stella was an actress and movie star, daughter of the great director Sterling Glamour. Trunks still had a hard time believing the Goten was dating a famous teenager. (A/N: If you want to read more about Stella and her relationship with Goten, you can check out my fan fic titled: The New Girl. ^_^)
Trunks moved over one lane so that he was beside the convertible. Goten looked up and laughed. Stella noticed too and let the top down.
"Hey, guys," Goten said.
Trunks gave them the peace sign and Amara just stared. She had never seen Stella before. She was very pretty.
"Bet I can make it to the Fair before you can." Trunks' muffled voice said.
"I can't race you," Goten said. "It's not my car."
"Oh go ahead," Stella said. "Boys will be boys."
"Really?" Goten asked.
She nodded. "Don't worry, I've got many more cars."
"Hey, this isn't fair," Goten said. "You're on a motorcycle, Trunks."
Trunks shrugged. "All right, I promise I won't weave in between cars."
"Deal," Goten said.
Stella rolled her eyes and looked at Amara. She couldn't see her face because of the helmet, but she could see two ebony eyes staring back at her.
The race begin. Trunks picked up sped immediately and so did Goten. Stella pushed the button to raise the top of the convertible. She sat straight forward and her fingers dug into the seat a little.
Amara's arms tightened around Trunks' waist. The roar of the wind made everything else inaudible. They weren't going too fast. Amara had probably flown faster.
Trunks and Goten continually switched lanes to avoid being slowed down by the other cars. There was a cluster of traffic just ahead. Trunks glanced back at Goten and then started to weave in between the cars.
Trunks and Amara arrived at the Fairgrounds about five minutes before Goten and Stella. Trunks and Amara had gotten off the bike and watched Goten park in the space beside them.
When Goten got out of the car, he walked over to Trunks. "You cheated!"
Trunks shrugged it off. "Oh well, no big deal."
"It's just like the first World Martial Arts Tournament we played in when you said…"
"All right, Goten! Kami! You're never going to forget about that are you?" Trunks asked. "Didn't you settle on some toys rather than winning?"
"Well, yeah…"
Amara didn't know what they were talking about. She took off her helmet and shook her head. Her hair had fallen out of its bun, but she didn't mind. It would have come loose later. Saiyan hair was never meant to be styled in a bun.
Goten stopped talking and looked at Amara. Trunks noticed and realized it was time for an introduction. The first time Goten had come into contact with Amara, he hadn't been interested in getting to know her. That was for sure.
"Goten, Stella," Trunks began. "This is Amara.
Amara nodded at them.
"Hi," Stella said. "I'm going to say this before you do. You probably recognize me from movies, but…"
Stella stopped talking when Amara began to shake her head.
"I don't recognize you."
"Oh?"
"Amara's not from this planet," Trunks said, simply.
"Oh, okay," Stella said. "That's good then. I hate it when people make a big deal over me because I'm famous." She looked over at Goten. "That's why I like him so much. He doesn't treat me differently."
Goten took that as his cue and kissed Stella. Amara smiled and Trunks looked embarrassed.
"Come on," Trunks prodded. "Are we going to spend the whole night in the parking lot or what?"
Once inside the Fair, the quartet was hit with a wave of carnival music and bright lights.
"What should we do first?" asked the starry-eyed Stella.
"What do you think?" Goten asked.
"Well, I really like the Farris Wheel," she said.
First they rode the Farris Wheel, then a small wooden roller coaster, and a few other rides. Now they were walking past numerous booths.
Amara stopped. "What's that?"
Everyone turned, but Trunks responded, "It's a game. You throw the ball at the bottles and try to knock them over. Then you can win a prize."
"Why don't you try to win Amara a prize?" Goten asked.
Trunks glared at him.
"Oh yes! I think you should." Stella chimed in.
Trunks sighed. "Well all right." He paid the man behind the booth and tried to negotiate how he would knock down the bottles without knocking down the entire booth.
He threw the ball softly. It collided with the bottles and knocked them all down on the first try. The ball kept traveling forward and broke through the back of the booth.
The man looked at Trunks in horror, his mouth open in a gape.
Trunks smiled. "Oops. Sorry about that."
Stella was also amazed at Trunks' show of strength, but Goten had fallen into peals of laughter.
"Now what do you do?" Amara asked.
"You get a prize," Trunks said.
The man behind the booth pushed the stuffed animals in their direction. "Here! Choose whatever you want." He was trembling.
Trunks looked at Amara and she picked a black stuffed dog out of the pile. Trunks put his arm around her waist and ushered her away from the horrified man at the booth. Goten and Stella followed.
"I think you scared him," Goten said.
Trunks scowled.
"Now can we get something to eat?" Goten asked.
"Sounds good," Amara said.
"Okay," Stella said. "Then we can dance! Do you hear the music?" She began to dance in place.
"Fine," Trunks said. "But we don't want to spend all of our time here. We have to go to the beach, too."
"All right," Stella said, standing still. "Eating, dancing, a few more rides and then we'll leave?"
Everyone agreed.
~~~
Now the four teens were on their way to the beach. Trunks had enjoyed dancing with Amara at the Fair. When they stepped out onto the dance floor, the sun had begun to sink below the horizon. They swayed to the music in the twilight. It was beautiful and Amara was a great dancer, even to modern Earth music.
Trunks came to a stop in his parking place and Goten parked the convertible beside him. Trunks grabbed Amara's hand and pulled her off the cement of the parking lot onto the sand of the beach.
Trunks waited for Goten and Stella to catch up. "Hey, I think I'll give you two some privacy."
Stella looked at Goten and he pulled her close. "Sure, I know what you mean. I think you and Amara will need the privacy too." Goten turned and led his girlfriend off in the opposite direction.
Trunks smiled and looked down at Amara. "Wanna go play in the water?"
She shook her head. "My clothes will be ruined."
Trunks laughed. "I can buy you new ones."
"Right," Amara said. "I almost forgot who you were, Mr. Capsule Corp." She smiled. "All right, let's go for it."
They ran towards the water, Amara got to it first. She gasped.
"The water's so cold," she said.
Trunks splashed her face with the icy water. She glared at him. She splashed him back, but he phased out.
"Oh, so you want to play it like that, huh?" Amara asked.
She sensed him behind her and turned. She lunged at him, but he caught her in his arms and forced them both into the water. She managed to get free of him and stood.
She laughed. "You brat."
He went to her and picked her up in his arms. He carried her deeper into the water and dropped her. She swam to the surface and pulled him under. They swam in the water for a little while and then moved to shallower water.
Amara hugged her body to Trunks' and he lifted her. She wrapped her legs around his waist and he walked her to shore. He shrugged off his jacket and laid her down in the sand, close enough to the water so that a strong wave could wash water over them.
He kissed her mouth hard and tried to untie her halter-top. She arched her back up off the ground to help him out. Her own hands were working to unbutton his pants.
She moaned and broke away from the kiss. "Trunks."
"Shh," he said, placing his fingers to her lips when he was finished untying her shirt.
She fell silent as he lowered his head and kissed her neck. His touch made her shiver. She pulled his body down on top of hers.
Trunks turned his head and rubbed his cheek against her soft hair. Although her hair looked as if it were coarse, its texture was like silk. He rubbed his nose against her neck and began laying soft kisses against it again.
"Let's not rush into things," Amara said, breathlessly.
"What?"
"Let's not do this…tonight," she said.
He nodded. "Okay. But can we lie here, just like this?"
"Of course," Amara said. "I want you next to me and I want to feel your kisses, your touch, but I don't want to give myself to you completely yet."
He listened and moved his head to rest on her chest. "Are you a virgin?"
"Yes," she said. "Is that surprising?"
"No," he said. "You are very beautiful and men must have went wild over you but…you don't seem like the type to give it all away up front."
"Hmm."
"Now let's not talk anymore," he said, brushing his lips across her breast. "There are no needs for words."
She nodded and turned so that she was facing him. His arms slid under her body and he pulled her until she was above him. She ran her fingers under his shirt and he shivered at her cold fingertips.
He slipped the shirt over his head and Amara grazed her lips over the skin on his stomach. Her tongue flicked out along his skin and his hands shot down into her hair.
She rose up and found his lips. He rolled them over in the sand again, but their lips stayed pressed together. He was above her now.
He broke the kiss and lifted her upper body with one arm, with the other he undid her bra. The bra slipped away revealing her breasts. He cupped them in his hands and looked at her. She stared back with hazy eyes.
He lowered his mouth to one and Amara's hands tightened into fists. He sucked it into his mouth and she moaned.
They lay like that in the sand for a while, exploring each others body's, but never actually engaging in sex.
Trunks opened his eyes suddenly as he heard footsteps. He and Amara were lying on their sides, her naked upper body was pressed to his. Her eyes were closed.
Goten approached them slowly. "Hey, I'm going to head home. What are you going to do?"
Trunks turned his head. "Yeah, sounds good."
Goten nodded and left.
Trunks sat up in the sand and roused Amara. She woke with a start and looked around. Out of instinct, she tried to hide her naked breasts from view.
"Hey where is my shirt?" she asked.
Trunks retrieved it from the sand as well as his own.
"I don't remember you removing my shirt completely," she said, slipped it on and tying it.
Trunks gave her the "Vegeta smirk".
She laughed. "You're very good at that. You looked just like your father."
He laughed. "Come on, Goten and Stella are waiting for us."
~~~
Trunks stood outside of Amara's bedroom door. The house was quiet. It was a 2 am and everyone else was asleep. Amara leaned against the wall, clutching the stuffed dog to her chest.
Trunks smiled. "Do you like that thing?"
She nodded. "Yeah, I had a great time tonight."
He leaned into her and whispered along her skin. "I need one last kiss. It's tradition here on Earth to kiss your sweetheart goodnight."
She turned her head towards him. "But it's morning."
"Amara," Trunks said. "If you don't want to kiss me, I'll go."
"You can't go too far, your room is just down the hall," she said. "If I wanted more, I would come to you."
He looked surprised. She grabbed him and pressed her lips to his, then she quickly pulled away.
"That's not good enough," he said.
He leaned into her and kissed her. She parted her lips for him and his tongue slid inside her mouth. The two melted into the kiss for about three minutes before Amara was the first to break away.
She took a breath and looked at him. She couldn't stand the intensity of his eyes and turned away.
Trunks stepped away from her. "I will have you, Amara."
She smiled. "Oh yes you will, but I will decide when."
He smiled and backed down the hallway. "Goodnight."
