-Seven years later, on planet Earth-
“I'm the Universe's strongest warrior!”
“No Goten, I am. You're like, seven years old. I've been training longer than you've been living.”
“Gohan, that's not fair!”
“Nothing's ever fair for you, isn't it? Look, why don't you go to the Philippines and see if anything there is fair. When a Filipino steals something from you and you say `That's not fair!' do you think he'd care? Nah, he'd just run away!”
Goten and Gohan, both sons to Goku were taking a break from training and were in one of those arguments about who is the Universe's strongest.
“You wouldn't be the Universe's strongest if I could… well, beat you!”
“That won't happen in a billion years, trust me.”
“I even made a new form that is way stronger than a Super Saiyan.”
“I've heard of creating new attacks, but creating transformations? That's totally whack!”
“Oh yea? Well, it involves a tail, and rage and strength nobody can comprehend.”
“Lemmie guess its name. An oozaru. Sorry Goten, but that transformation is already made up. Its been around for thousands of years!”
“No, it's not that stinky ape form you can turn into by just staring at the moon, it's called my Ultimate form.”
“The Ultimate form? Okay we had an oozaru, then Kaio Ken, then Super Saiyan, and finally my Mystic form, which nobody can top, and finally a `pathetic' form that you just made up?”
“Hey, this form is harder to get than all those forms you listed combined!”
“Yeah, but it's still amazing you even know the definition of `comprehend' or even the word `ultimate.'”
Trunks came over and, to Gohan's satisfaction, interrupted Goten and Gohan's fight.
“Hey guys? How's it going? You wanna have a fight game, Goten?”
“Sure, Trunks!”
Gohan was glad Trunks put an end to Goten's fight. It started to annoy him. Goten and Trunks played the game Jan Ken, a game which is very close to Rock, Paper, Scissors. Trunks won and got to hit Goten first (a free punch). Trunks slammed his fist down hard onto Goten's right temple. Goten fell down hard and a headache began to pierce Goten's head. His temple felt like somebody stabbed his head with a long, freshly sharpened, knife. He got up and felt dizzy. The ground started to move and Goten felt like he was on a roller coaster.
“Are you okay, or do you need to go to an infirmary?”
Trunks laughed at his own joke and Goten began to cry. Gohan ran to Goten and asked if he was okay himself, and if he needed a pain killer or a pack of ice. Goten felt better with Gohan by his side, and he got up and continued fighting Trunks. It was a long show of melee, which soon turned into ki attacks. Trunks dodged every single Goten threw and critically injured Goten with another surprise punch. Upon receiving the blow, Goten wanted out, but he knew Trunks would be laughing about this for weeks. He could imagine Trunks talking about it. “I just landed two punches on Goten in this one battle, and he started to run home crying with his brother chasing after him! What a loser!” Goten let Trunks ravage him with another series of violent melee attacks. Gohan was on the sidelines shouting some words of encouragement. Those words had no effect on Goten and he really, desperately wanted out. He left the battle.
“Running away from a battle? Goten, are you even sure that you're a Saiyan?”
Goten didn't want to reply to that insult. Right after Trunks finished his sentence, thunder exploded right above the trio. Lightning cut a jagged path to the ground about seven miles away. Rain fell in bullets, as if an assassin was shooting hard at Gohan, Goten and Trunks. Trunks said goodbye, since his mom would be mad if he came home dripping wet. Before he left, he insulted Goten about not knowing how to fly (while hovering a few feet from Goten). Goten told Trunks to shut up and go, with moisture blurring his vision. Gohan got up from under a tree and said, “Time to go, little bro!”
Goten was distracted. He was looking nervously at the sky as he saw a white comet streak through the clouds. As he saw it, he felt an evil presence in their midst - a terrorizing presence.
“Goten, let's go! What are you looking at?”
Goten snapped out of it and simply said “Nothing.” And with that, he followed Gohan back to their house.
