Dragon Ball/Z/GT Fan Fiction ❯ Forbidden Encounter ❯ BUSTED... ( Chapter 4 )
Thanks for waiting for this part…once again I want to thank so many of you that gave me ideas with the plot. I am getting a rather positive response from the last part of this story, so I guess I will continue it! I did notice one error on my part…the first incident with Goku & Jenna occurred a year ago, and I write in the third portion of this story as if it occurred months ago. Sorry! My faux pas! But please review; I encourage constructive criticism and all the positive responses! Disclaimer: I don't own DBZ. If I did, Goku would be mine!
Forbidden Encounter
Chapter Four
Written by Gokusgirl
As Goku touched down in front of his house, He thought to himself, everything will be okay. Jenna is out of my system…I really don't want to do anything to jeopardize my marriage besides…this is where I need to be. He strides to the front door, actually happy to walk in and see his beautiful wife. I've played with fire twice; I won't do it again...Goku thought as he walked inside.
He wasn't surprised to find the house dark. Chichi always did know how to set the mood for a romantic evening. He ran upstairs, like a child looking for candy. When he reached the bedroom, he expected Chichi to be sprawled across the bed, waiting to seduce him.
From the light of moon that glistened out of the bedroom window, he didn't see his wife there. Puzzled, he looked around the dark room. "Chichi?" Goku called out. He snapped on the light and found Chichi sitting in the armchair across the room. It scared him at first, because she sat there so silently and the look on her face was quite ominous.
"Chichi?" Goku said with a worried look on his face. "Are you okay?"
Chichi said nothing; she just sat there and stared at him coldly. Her heart was beating a thousand beats a minute, she had never been so ready to pounce on him and claw his eyes out. The very sight of him was making her stomach turn sour. She quickly regained her composure, forcing a smile on her face. She stood.
"I'm fine, Goku-sa," Chichi said cheerfully, and at the same time she wanted to bite her tongue in half. She glided over to her husband, and put her arms around his neck. "Why do you ask?"
"You looked so…tense over there. That's all." Goku said still wondering what she was up to. He slid his arms around her waist and pulled her closer to him, and he leaned down to kiss her when she spoke.
"Tell me about you day." Chichi asked. She still had that smile on her face, and her eyebrows rose inquisitively. Goku paused and looked at her for moment, and she saw the expression on his face change from relaxed to agitated.
"Well you know what I did today," Goku said with a chuckle. "You don't want to hear about it."
"Yes…I know what you did today, but just tell me. I never ask, so…I think it's good if you sat down and told me."
Goku immediately let Chichi go, and he turned his back to her for a second. She dropped her façade for that second until he faced her again. She shrugged and continued to smile, waiting for him to start.
"Well…I trained today. That's all." Goku said sounding quite annoyed that she even asked such a question.
"Did you train alone today?" Chichi asked as she sat down on edge of the bed, folding her arms.
"No…I never train alone. Krillin was with me." Goku lied. Chichi's face lit up with surprise.
"Krillin was with you? All day?"
"Yes!" Goku loudly replied. "Now enough of twenty questions-"
"Call him." Chichi said as she reached over and picked up the phone. Goku stared at her, the blood leaving his cheeks.
"Why?" Goku managed to say.
"I just want to talk to him…and find out if he really was with you today."
"Of course he was with me today, I told you. You don't' believe me all of a sudden?"
Chichi didn't answer. She stood there holding the phone in her hands.
"Okay," Chichi said breaking the silence. Goku let out a silent sigh of relief; hoping she had given up on her interrogation. "Then I'll call."
Goku was mortified. His first reaction was to slap the phone right out of her hands. With clenched fists he stood his ground, even though it was crumbling down around him.
"Well, go ahead then, if you don't' believe me." Goku said heatedly, praying she would fall for his bluff. Chichi never said a word as she dialed, and turned to face him again when the line began to ring. Her face lit up when someone answered the line.
"Hello? This is Chichi, I need to speak with Krillin please-" Chichi almost sung into the phone, but she was instantly cut off the line when she noticed the phone line was dead. She looked over at the phone to find Goku's finger down on the receiver. She slowly looked up at him. Her smile melted away as she looked at him. The look on her face was one of sheer repulsion. He was busted.
Goku stared at Chichi for a moment, not knowing what to say. It seemed like he shook as he turned and walked across the room, and he put one of his hands on his forehead as he spoke incoherently to himself. Chichi watched as he sank down to the floor, shaking his head, eyes closed. She dared not to move. If she did, she would jump on him.
"You want to tell me where you were now? Chichi asked in a lowered tone. Goku never answered. Chichi moved a little closer to him, her hand folded at her chest. "If I am not correct, this all happened about last year, right?" Goku looked up at her, surprised of her comment. She nodded her head.
"Yes," Chichi said as she started to slowly pace the floor. "It all makes sense now. All of it. The way you wanted to 'stay close to home' and be a family man all of a sudden…it all happened last year, right after Master Roshi's big party he had last summer. And today, well you gave yourself away. Not only did you come home with a perfectly clean gi for someone who trained all day, it stunk of that bitch you are fucking!"
"Chichi…" Goku said meekly as he rose.
"Shut up!" Chichi shouted as she walked up to him, her index finger extended. "I'm talking here! How could you do this to me, Goku-sa? How could you do this to us? Do you have any idea what this will do to Goten? And what about Gohan? What about me?" Chichi's voice was shaking; her tears were now streaming down her fair cheeks as she started pounding her small hands into her husband's chest. He stood there, taking the minimal beating from her before grabbing her hands and embracing her. She embraced him for only a moment until she realized what she was doing, and she jumped back, pushing him away.
"No!" Chichi wailed. "I am not going to make this easy for you! I won't! Who is she Goku-sa?" Goku stood there, his mouth moving but no words, enraging Chichi. A loud sounding slap fell across Goku's cheek, and then another. "Answer me! You owe me that much to tell me now! Tell me dammit!"
Goku let out a deep sigh and rung his hands. "It's no one you know…she goes to the college in Satan City." Chichi's jaw dropped. "Chichi…I never meant to hurt you, this woman, she means nothing to me." He said pleadingly, even though he knew he didn't mean a word of it.
Chichi sucked her teeth in disgust as she walked to the other side of bedroom. "Is that supposed to make me feel better? That you betrayed me over and over with a girl who meant nothing to you?"
"She's not a girl…she a woman, I'm not like that."
"Well I'm sure she a woman now since you've been with her!"
"Chichi-"
"Goku, I can never, never forgive you for this. I have been a good wife to you… for 18 years! And you repay me with your distrust. I want you out of here, now!" Chichi said as she stomped her foot down, pointing at the bedroom door.
"Chichi, please, let me explain-"
"I don't want to hear it! Just go! Your stuff is already packed downstairs at the door!"
Not having much of a choice, Goku slowly walked out of bedroom and descended the stairs. Chichi followed at a distance, making sure he left. She stopped at the bottom of stairs when she watched Goku pick up his sacks of clothes in the living room. He walked to the front door and before opening it; he turned around and faced Chichi one last time.
"I know it doesn't help now…but I am truly sorry for what I did." Goku said sounding choked up. He turned and walked out, shutting the door behind him quietly.
Chichi sat down at the bottom of the steps, rocking and embracing her self quietly as she sobbed over losing the one and only man she loved, and wondered how would she ever go on….
