Later that day Krillin stopped by Chi chi's on his way to see 18. He rang the door bell and he heard. "Sniff. Who is it?"

Once Krillin left Chi chi sat alone for a long time thinking over her options. She could forgive Goku and believe that he was honorable and loving, the man of her dreams or remain stubborn and cling to her pride by not forgiving Goku. 'Although he did nothing wrong.'

That night Goku stood by the lake staring at the city. He was so nervous he had no idea whether or not she would show up, whether or not she could forgive him. He ran a had through his hair and scratched his head. "Who am I kidding she's not coming." He sighed. Just then he heard the crackle of leaves under feet he looked up to see Chi chi staring at him from the tree line.

"Hi." He murmured staring at her. She was wearing just simple jeans and a low cut long sleeve shirt, but she still looked beautiful to him. She slowly walked towards him and shyly locked her hands behind her back. "So...." She mumbled.
