Chapter 7: Weeks End

Sitting in front of the computer, Ch-Chi looked at the Solitaire game she was playing. She prepared to continue playing but her mind was else where. Looking at her watch, she saw that it was already 4 in the afternoon. Sighing to herself, she just looked at the screen.

*This has been the best week I've ever had. I have never met anyone like Goku. He is so sweet and kind. I really didn't know what to expect when we started this last week but I'm glad I accepted his offer. I can't believe today is the last day. What I really can't believe is what has happened to my emotions. At first I looked at him as just a guy doing me a favor but now……now I don't know* Chi-Chi said as she lightly brushed her fingers over the keyboard.

"I can't be in like him…..in fact I can't have feelings for him. This was only a job, nothing more. But then again, no guy that I've been with has ever treated me the way Goku has treated me this week. On top of all these feelings I also have to deal with my out of control hormones. I mean I haven't gotten any in a week. Man, what is wrong with me?" Chi-Chi asked herself. Just then the phone started to ring. Getting out of the chair, she walked over and answered it.

C: Hello!

G: Hi Chi-Chi! Listen, seeing as how today is our last day together I was thinking I would let you choose what we do today.

C: Hey Goku, thanks! Well, to tell you the truth I was thinking about you and I just spending some time together. I figure we could do that here at my place.

G: Are you asking me over for dinner?

C: Yes I am! Do you accept?

G: Of course! I'll bring the wine though.

C: Great, so I'll see you tonight around 8. Is that ok?

G: Actually I have to work tonight but I can get off early. I just have to ask Vegeta.

C: Will Vegeta let you get off early? You missed a few days already

G: I don't think he'll say no but if he does I will call you.

C: Ok, See you tonight! Bye.

G: Bye!

Chi-Chi hung up the phone as a smile crossed her face. 18 walked into the room and just looked at her friend.

"So where is he taking you on your final night?" she asked. Chi-Chi looked at her, still smiling.

"He's not taking me anywhere. He's coming here for dinner" Chi-Chi said. 18 narrowed her eyes as she looked at her.

"You're bringing him here?" 18 finally asked. Chi-Chi raised her right eyebrow as she looked at 18.

"Is there a problem with him coming here?" Chi-Chi asked. A smirk flew over 18's face as she walked towards a near-by chair and sat down.

"No, I have no problem with him coming here but is he coming for just dinner or for dinner and desert?" 18 asked. Chi-Chi just looked at her.

"I said he was coming for dinner, that's all. Nothing is going to happen" Chi-Chi said. 18 smiled as she stood and looked at Chi-Chi.

"You're right, nothing will happen…….unless you want it to" she said as she walked to her room. Chi-Chi watched her go as a frown crossed her face.

*What does she know? Goku and I will only have dinner then he will leave. Nothing is going to happen…….I think* Chi-Chi said to herself as she reached for the remote and cut the television on.

It was 5:00 when Goku entered the Baka Club. Walking in, he spotted Krillin and Bulma talking to each other at a table.

"Hey guys" Goku said as he waved to them. Krillin and Bulma both looked at him with a smile on their face.

"There he is! Chi-Chi's boyfriend" Bulma said as she stood up.

"Hey, does Chi-Chi ever talk to you about 18? Did she mention if 18 talks about me?" Krillin asked as he looked at his friend. Folding his arms across his chest, Goku smirked at his friends.

"Look, she is not my girlfriend and I'm not her boyfriend. Krillin, she did tell me something about 18 but I'm not going to tell you and no she did not mention if 18 talks about you" Goku said. Krillin sighed as he snapped his fingers.

"Darn!" he said. Bulma looked at Krillin then back over to Goku.

"C'mon Goku, you've been spending a whole week with her and you're telling me you don't have any feelings for her?" she asked.

"Bulma, I never said I didn't have feelings for her. I just said she wasn't my girlfriend" Goku said. A huge smile fell over Bulma's face as she ran over to him.

"Oh so you're saying she would be you're girlfriend if you asked her but you haven't yet. Man, what are you waiting for? Her to ask you to be her boyfriend?" she asked. A sweat dropped down Goku's face as he looked at her.

"Kakarot! Get up here!" Vegeta yelled from his office located on the upper level. Goku looked up at him with a smile on his face.

"Sure thing V-man!" Goku said as he walked past Bulma and towards the stairs. Heading up, he walked into Vegeta's office.

"Close the door!" Vegeta said as he sat back in his chair. Closing the door, Goku sat down in the chair in front of Vegeta's desk.

"So what's up?" Goku asked. Vegeta looked at him for awhile as he just swayed back and forth in his chair. Sitting up, Vegeta spoke.

"So, I hear you bought yourself a girl" he said. Goku looked down for a minute then back up at Vegeta.

"Well I did pay a girl to spend time with me but I had my reason" Goku said. Raising his eyebrows, Vegeta sat back in his chair.

"Really? I would love to hear that reason" he said.

"Well, she missed two days of work because she came here so I figured I would pay her for those two days. Seeing as how I wanted to get to know her, I paid to see her for the entire week. She needed the money and I really didn't mind giving it to her besides we both got something out of it" Goku said. A smirk was on Vegeta's face as he looked at him.

"So what did you both get? No let me guess, she got a lot of money and you got the chance to screw a slut for an entire week" Vegeta said. Goku glared at Vegeta with a scowl on his face.

"Wait a minute Vegeta, you don't know her so……." Goku started before Vegeta cut him off.

"I may not know her and I don't want to know her. What I do know however is that she is costing me money. I need you here serving drinks not serving sex to some slut" Vegeta spat. Goku shook a bit as he glared at Vegeta.

"Listen, she is a friend of mine and all we've been doing is hanging out. I know I have missed a few days of work but I will be working tonight" Goku said as he controlled his anger.

"You're damn right you're working tonight. You will be working here until 11 tonight and you better not come to me saying you need to get off early to see that girl because the answer is no. Do you understand?" Vegeta asked as he sat up in his chair. Goku looked down at the ground before standing up. Nodding his head in agreement, he opened the door and stormed out. Anger was clearly on Goku's face as he walked to the nearest pay phone.

*Damn him! If he wasn't my close friend and boss I would……anyway it's too late now. I better call Chi-Chi and tell her our plans have changed. How dare he say what he said about her? She may sleep with a lot of men but she is not a slut, besides she needs the money to pay for school. He doesn't know her* Goku said to himself as he dialed up Chi-Chi's number. After 3 rings someone picked up.

C: Hello?

G: Hey Chi-Chi, look I just finished talking to Vegeta and he said I have to work until 11 so I guess we'll have to cancel.

C: NO! I mean, you can still come over. We'll have a late dinner, that's all.

G: Well if you say so then I will be there when I get off.

C: Goku are you ok? You sound different. Are you upset or something?

G: No, I'm fine! Listen I have to go but I will definitely see you tonight

C: Ok, see you then. Bye!

G: Bye"

Goku hung up the phone and sighed.

"This is going to be a long day. I can't wait for it to be over" he said as he climbed down the stairs and headed towards the bar to get ready for the night ahead.

It was 10:00 and Chi-Chi was in the kitchen fixing dinner. Just then 18 came in and looked over her shoulder.

"What are you fixing?" she asked.

"Just some steak and mashed potatoes. We had this when we went out for the first time" Chi-Chi said as she tended to the food. 18 rolled her eyes as she sat down at the dinner table.

"Look, Marron is going to stay downstairs with Mrs. Marks tonight and I'm going to leave in a few minutes so you can have the place to yourself" she said. Chi-Chi looked at her and smiled.

"Thanks! I can't wait for him to get here so we can eat" Chi-Chi said. 18 sighed as she stood up.

"Chi, would you stop the stupid were-just-going-to-eat act. I mean you know you want him so after dinner why don't you show him just exactly what you do for a living" 18 said. Chi-Chi quickly looked at 18 then down at the ground.

"I can't do that, I mean he's the first person whose ever respected me and not wanted sex in return for something. I can't just ruin that, can I?" she asked as she looked up at 18. 18 shrugged her shoulders as she folded her arms across her chest.

"You can't ask me, this is between you and your emotions. You know how you feel so it's all up to you. But if you want my opinion, I say go for it. I mean when was the last time you slept with someone. You need this!" 18 said as she slowly walked out of the kitchen. Chi-Chi looked at her and sighed. Shaking her head, she went back to preparing the food.

It was 11:15 and Chi-Chi was sitting at the dinner table with her hands in her lap. Deciding to wear the same dress she wore to Sweet Illusions, it didn't take long for her to get dressed. The table was set with two wine glasses, two already lit candles and two plates filled with steak and mashed potatoes. Looking at her watch Chi-Chi sighed.

*I wonder if he's still coming? It's a good thing Marron and 18 are gone, I mean at least I get the place to myself whether he comes or not. What am I saying? He is coming and he's bringing wine. I hope I know what I'm doing. I really don't want to ruin our perfect week but 18 was right…….I do need it* Chi-Chi said to herself just as there was a knock at the door. Getting up from the table, Chi-Chi ran her hand down her hair a few times before going to the door and opening it. There stood Goku in the same outfit he wore for their first date as well except he had his name tag still on from work.

"Sorry I'm late but hey, I brought some wine" he said with a grin on his face. He held the bottle up so Chi-Chi could see it.

"Great, come on in" she said as she stepped to the side allowing him to enter. Goku walked in and smiled once he saw the food and candles.

"It all looks great" he said to Chi-Chi who stood beside him. She only smiled as she walked to one of the drawers and pulled out a corkscrew. Handing it to Goku, she sat down in the chair. It didn't take long for Goku to pop the cork to the wine bottle.

"Here we go!" he said as he poured the wine in the glasses then set the bottle to the side. Chi-Chi just smiled as she looked at him. Noticing her glances, Goku smiled at her.

"What?" he asked innocently. Chi-Chi said nothing as she raised her glass and pointed it towards him.

"I would like to take this time to toast you Goku for showing me how much fun it would be to just hang back and relax. To not have to worry about work and school and other things" she said. Goku smiled as he raised his glass and pointed it towards her.

"Then I want to toast you Chi-Chi for letting me get to know you as a person and giving me the opportunity to call you my friend" Goku said. Chi-Chi just looked at him as she heard what he said.

*A friend? He sees me as his friend? Now what do I do? I guess I'll just have to change his mind* she said to herself. Smiling back at him she brought her glass towards his and the two tapped them together before taking a few sips. Placing his glass down, Goku smiled at the plate of food.

"This looks good and its the same food we had our first time out" he said as he reached for his knife and fork.

"Well dig in, I made a lot just in case you want seconds" Chi-Chi said as she placed her napkin in her lap. Goku only nodded his head as he dove right into the food. Chi-Chi watched him for awhile before she began to eat.

By 11:45 the two were finished with dinner and were now in the living room watching t.v. Chi-Chi was amazed that Goku enjoyed her cooking so much that he went through 5 plates of food while she barely made it to a plate and a half. Chi-Chi had her legs up on the couch as she snuggled close to him. He had his arm around her as he watched t.v. Placing her hand on his chest, she just smiled.

*Ok Chi, you got through dinner now it's time for you to lay down the desert. Man, I hope he's into this. Making a fool of myself would be the last thing I'd ever want to do* Chi-Chi said to herself as she ran her fingers down his chest. Goku glanced down at her and smiled.

*Man, is she beautiful! It's too bad this is our last day. I just wish we could do more besides sit here and watch t.v. Maybe we could go for a walk or something. I mean who knows if I'll ever see her again* Goku said to himself.

"Hey Chi-Chi, I was thinking maybe you and I could go for a walk instead of sitting here watching tv. What do you think?" Goku asked aloud as he looked down at her. Sitting up, Chi-Chi looked at him.

"Actually Goku, I had something else in mind" she said. Goku had a smile on his face as he looked at her.

"Really? What do you want to do? I did dedicate this date to you anyway so whatever you want to do we will do" he said. Chi-Chi's eyebrows went up as she heard what he said.

*He can't be serious! Either that or he really has no idea what I want to do. I guess I'll just have to show him* Chi-Chi said to herself. Looking into his black eyes, Chi-Chi moved in close to his face until her lips touched his. Goku looked at her as he felt her lips on his and soon moved away.

"Chi-Chi what are you doing?" he asked. Chi-Chi, startled that he moved back, waited before she answered.

"I was just kissing you" she said. Goku stared into her black eyes as she stared at him. Slowly he rose off of the couch and stood in front of her.

"I think I better go! I have to go to work tomorrow anyway" he said as he walked past her and towards the door. Immediately Chi-Chi got up and walked after him.

"Look Goku, I'm sorry! It's just that this is our last night together and I just thought we could make it extra special" Chi-Chi said. Goku sighed as he turned towards her.

"Tonight was already special, at least to me. I got to spend time with you and that's all I wanted. I guess you wanted more. I told you when we started this that I was only interested in getting to know you, not sleep with you. I thought you understood that" Goku said as he turned back around and walked towards the door. Opening it, he looked at Chi-Chi who was standing behind him.

"I'm really sorry Goku. Can I at least get a kiss goodbye. I know I messed up but don't I deserve at least that?" she asked. A smirk appeared on Goku's face as he looked at her. Leaning in, he decided for this one time, he would kiss her on the lips. Moving in his lips gently touched hers. It was brief and soon he pulled away. Chi-Chi looked at him with a frown on her face.

*That's it! What have I done? I just ruined a perfect evening all because of my emotions. Stupid feelings!* she yelled to herself as she looked at him. At the same time, Goku also had thoughts going through his head.

*Man, that felt good! I wonder if she'd let me try that again?* he asked himself.

"Well goodnight" Chi-Chi said softly as she dropped her head down. Goku smiled as he placed his index finger under her chin and raised her head up to his level. He looked into her eyes and studied the rest of her facial features. Chi-Chi just looked at him as if she was confused. Removing his finger from her face, he reached up and ran his hand through her hair.

*What is he doing?* Chi-Chi asked herself as she watched him. She looked into his eyes for a while, wondering what he was up to. Chi-Chi's wondering went away as Goku leaned in and gave her a kiss. At first Chi-Chi just stood there, letting his lips caress hers but soon fell into the moment. Wrapping her arms around his neck, she pulled him into her and delivered a mouth full of passion. Goku moved Chi-Chi and himself back as he closed the door with his foot. Slowly the two walked back towards the living room, still entangled with one another. Soon Chi-Chi pulled away and looked at him.

"Wait, what are you doing?" she asked. Goku just smiled at her.

"I was just kissing you" he said. Chi-Chi just smiled as she moved in and kissed him. Goku was happy to accept and soon the two continued where they left off. Chi-Chi backed up along with Goku and started to pull his shirt out of his pants. The two continued towards the back until they were in front of Chi-Chi's room door. Pulling away, Chi-Chi looked at him.

"Goku, whatever happened to your no sex rule?" she asked as she placed her hand on her doorknob. Goku smiled at her before moving in for a quick kiss. Chi-Chi embraced him as she opened the door allowing the two of them to go inside. Closing the door, Goku and Chi-Chi decided to forget about anything and everything and only concentrate on the rest of the night.

AN2: Well that's it! Sorry but I'm not going to write what happens in that room. You can all guess for yourself what they are doing in there.
