She's Who?

Let's see, how about a witty disclaimer?
I don't own Dragonball/Z/GT. I have three kids; do you really think I've got money?
Fifth part- The Wedding
The morning arrived with the usual birds chirping, the sun shining, and a shriek that set the house off its foundation.
"AHH! Get up Goku! Goten get up! I'll have breakfast ready in a jiff. Hurry and get in your suits and while you're eating I'll get ready." Yelled ChiChi. "Goten make sure you wear the suit I got down from the attic for you. Goku make sure you comb your hair."
"Yes, Mom."
"Yes, Dear."
As a set of Sons sat at the table, she heard in stereo, "What's for breakfast?" For some reason they both waited for her to set the food down before starting to eat. And as said before, she went upstairs to get ready herself while they ate.
Across the way, a different set of Sons were getting ready for same said wedding. "Ouch! Momma, that hurts,"says the youngest of the Son clan. "Well, if you'd hold still like I've told you, it wouldn't hurt."
"Where are we going, Momma?" "We're going to your Grandpa Goku's Wedding."
"Isn't he married to Grandma?" "Yes dear, he is."
"Is Grandma leaving?" "No, she is not."
"Am I going to have to call her "Grandma" too?" "No, you won't."
"Why is Grandpa marrying her, if he's already married to Grandma?" "Because he said he would."
"Isn't Grandma mad that Grandpa's getting another wife?" "No, she's not."
"Why?" "Because it was her that pushed Grandpa into marrying again."
"Why?" "I have no idea."
"When are we going?" "When they come and get us."
"When's breakfast?" "As soon as I'm done with your hair."
"Are you done yet?" "Yes, now go sit down and eat nicely. I don't want to have to change your clothes before we leave."
"Okay Momma."
"GOHAN! BREAKFAST!" "Be right there!"
"Well, now that you two are ready, I'm going to go and get myself ready. Gohan, Pan, get the table cleaned up after you're done."
"MmHmm" "Okay Momma!"
Over at Capsule Corp. the same scene seems to be unfolding. "Where's breakfast!" yells Vegeta. "You'll have to get your own this morning, I'm still dressing and I have to get Bra ready yet," answers Bulma. "Well at least you're not wearing your training uniform today, Dad," Says Trunks as he enters the kitchen. "Here, have a box of cereal. I am," he continues as he pours the milk into a box of cereal and proceeds to drink or eat his cereal. His father gives him a strange look for eating his cereal in such an odd manner. "What? It saves the trouble of finding a bowl, a spoon and saves Mom some dishes since I'll eat the whole box anyway," answers Trunks in self-defense. "Oh, Trunks you know I hate it when you eat your cereal like that!" says a flustered Bulma as she's pinning up her hair. She then proceeds to get a bowl for Bra, who has sat herself in a chair and waiting for her breakfast. "Now, let's finish up here. We have to go and get the others for the wedding," orders Bulma. A few minutes pass, Bra has finished her breakfast, Bulma's finished primping herself, Vegeta's still scowling, and Trunks has brushed his hair one final time. They're ready to disembark. "Okay! Let's go!" say a happy sounding Bulma.
About a half hour later, "Hey! Does the tie have to be so tight?" asks Goku. "Unless you want it to look sloppy, yes," answers ChiChi. "Hey! Bulma and her family's here!" hollers Goten from outside. He figured it would be safer outside waiting with Gohan and his family rather than having his mother fuss over whether his tie was on straight or not. He still didn't understand why his father was marrying this girl but his mother didn't seem to mind so he'd thought he'd just go with it until he could figure out the real reason behind this.
Everyone got into the airbus; it'd better be a bus with the amount of people in it. The entire trip was filled with the usual sounds of travel. "Are we there yet?" asks Pan. "Not yet about another hour," answers Videl. "Are we now?" asks Bra. They seem to be playing tag team with the questions that drive parents nuts. The teenage boys were talking about whatever teenage boys talk about. The men of the group sat in silence. The women on the other hand seem to have lots to talk about. None of which had anything to do with the upcoming wedding and why ChiChi seemed to be all for it. Or what was going to happen afterward. ChiChi reminisced about her wedding, Videl told some about her wedding and what she felt like, while Bulma wished she had a wedding to reminisce about. Goku, on the other hand, looked like a string that was pulled too tight. He looked like he was ready to snap. And just when you thought that Vegeta was going to start ribbing him for marrying again, they all heard those two wonderful words. "We're here!" A toddler chorus of "Yippee!" was heard and all exited the bus.
The sight of the wedding was done modestly. The only thing that denoted that it was a wedding and not a funeral was a lack of a coffin. No, it was not at a cemetery but it was outside with no decorations, two rows of chairs and a center aisle. No flowers, no streamers, just chairs and a pedestal where the pastor stood. The sight of the wedding had, for some reason, made ChiChi sad. She saw the bride standing off to the side wearing a white dress, which was by most people's opinion a tea dress, white shoes, and no veil. ChiChi was startled by this and saw some wild flowers nearby. She then went and picks some and made something akin to lei for the bride to wear in her hair. She put this on the bride and went and took her seat. Every one was now sat, except for the bride and groom, and awaited the pastor to begin the ceremony.
The girl's father had pulled Goku aside and was talking to him. "Do you have her dowry?" asked her father. "Um, Dowry? What do you mean?" answers Goku. "Usually the groom gives the brides father or family something of worth for the daughters hand in marriage." "Uh.."says Goku as he starts to say he has no idea what the man is talking about; his bride interrupts "Father, can we start now." "Yes, we can. I just need to talk with your groom after the ceremony." "Okay, Father." The two, bride and groom, approach the podium, and the pastor starts the ceremony. Goku had grabbed Miranda's hand when they stood side by side and Miranda had slipped something into Goku's hand. He looked at her with a question in his eyes. As the ceremony ended, the new couple was told to kiss; they ended up only kissing each other on the cheek. And when they did, she whispered in his ear, "It's the dowry my father was asking you about. It's what's left of my winnings from the tournament. Give it to him and he'll shut up." Goku nodded in understanding. They turned to face family and friends alike as the pastor announced, "May I present Mr. And Mrs. Son" and a cheer went up.
There was no reception, just a reception line from the wedding so everyone could at least meet this one time. As Miranda's mother passed ChiChi she asked, "Please take care of my girl." "Of course," said ChiChi. As Miranda's father passed Goku, Goku passed what Miranda had given him to give to her father. The man's eyes widen in surprise and gave a nod to Goku. He had nothing more to do with the girl and hollered for his wives to "Get your butts in the car or it's leaving without you."
The group just kind of stood there and looked on as the man had just given up his daughter with out even a backward glance. Then someone came up with a wonderful idea, "When do we eat?" The whole group laughed as it came from the least expected person, Goku's new wife.
Next time, maybe we'll all figure out where I' m going with this story? Nahh, why make it easy on all of us.
Review please. It let's me know where to improve.
