Dragon Ball/Z/GT Fan Fiction ❯ Silver ❯ There's Sometin' Behind Those Shrubs ( Chapter 10 )

The village was peaceful and quiet. Birds chirped gleefully in the lush treetops and squirrels chased each other from branch to branch. The villagers went along their business not noticing the two pair of eyes peering through the fat, prickly bushes.

"Look at those pitiful humans. They are too occupied with their work to notice that their end is soon to come," one bush chuckled evilly. There was a rustle in another bush and a smack.

"Ouch!" The first bush yelped. The blue eyes glared daggers at the pink eyes.

"Damnit female!" The bushed growled.

"Watch what you say! I was once human ya know!" growled the other bush. Both bushes shook slightly as the two growled at each other, blue eyes piercing pink eyes; pink eyes piercing blue eyes. In time they turned to look back at the people.

"I don't know if I can do this…," muttered the blue eyed bush. The other bushed rolled his eyes in annoyance.

"Tough it up. Why did you want to do this in the first place anyway?" Blue eyes pierced pink eyes again.

"Because when I become perfect, I will kill you! Not like I have much in life anyhow, why not start here?" The other bush shook as it chuckled in amusement.

"My dear, you really think you can destroy me? I'm more powerful then you're now and we're both in our first stage," the eyes looked up in wonder, "though I wouldn't really mind having another perfect being around to spar with. Goku will be the only other person who would be a worthy opponent. Not to mention I AM a bit curious as to what you might look like," purred the bush, giving a sly look at the other one.

"Please, I can kick your butt anytime!" The blue eyes rolled in a circular motion once then stopped up at the sky. A little boy glanced at the bushes as he passed them

"Mommy, mommy," he tugged on his mother's skirt, "those bushes are talking again!" The mother let out an irritable sigh and tugged her son along, telling him that he had been watching too my cartoons again. The bushes blinked and sweatdropped.

"Shall we start?" Asked the pink-eyed bush. The other one nodded and sighed.

"Might as well. I want to get this over with as soon as possible. First how do I do it?"

"Just stab your prey with your tail and it will do the rest. Just think of it as an instance reflex or something like that. Your tail does knows what to do." With that the creature with pink eyes leaped out of the bushes soon followed by the one with blue eyes.

Cell and Vex stood next to each other as they stared at the humans who had seen them and froze. Cell was crouching low like some dangerous predator, which he was, and had this evil smile that even made Vex take a step away from him. Vex on the other hand was scared and very nervous.

Cell snickered and whispered, "…boo…" The villagers screamed at the top of their lungs before running away. Cell snorted and glanced at Vex. He noticed how straight, and stiff she was standing. He sighed for he knew it was going to have to coax her into doing this, taunt or maybe force her. He was tickled to think that he would have another perfect being around to fight with.

Just then Cell realized just how far the villagers had ran and they were nearly out of sight. Quickly he grabbed Vex's arm and literally dragged her behind him as he chased after the humans.

Vex felt Cell's unusually gentle, yet firm grip release her arm as he grabbed a random person and dragged him back to her. Vex watched the man scream and beg for mercy, that he didn't mean to steal those $200 from his wife.

Cell growled and said in a low tone, "Quiet human! Now Vex, this one is yours." He tossed the man at her feet and he instantly screamed. He crossed his arms and watched quietly.

"Please! Don't hurt me!! Please I beg of you!!" He cried. Vex's voice stuck in her throat and she turned her head away.

"I-I can't!" she hissed. Cell narrowed his eyes and sighed inwardly. He knew she was going to rebel again and he had planned on "helping" her. Uncrossing his arms, Cell walked over to his female counterpart and roughly grabbed her slender tail. Vex squeaked and gave Cell a dirty look.

"Hey! Let go you bastard!!"

"Calm down female! Do you want to do this or not?" Vex was about to tell him that her name wasn't "female" to change the subject, but Cell didn't give her a chance to say a thing. He stepped on the human's back and bent down slightly to stab her tail into his back.

The man screamed in pain and Vex screeched. Cell chuckled and said in that eerie voice of his, "Your tail will do the rest. Enjoy the human while I go and absorb some of my own." With that Cell turned and dashed off after the other humans.

He was right about one thing. Her tail did do the rest. She stood there with wide eyes as her tail rippled as it sucked the man inside out. A minute later, Vex was staring at the clothing the human had once been wearing.

"Oh…my….god…," she whispered gently, shocked at what just happened. She felt guilty that she had taken someone's life away yet she felt a surge of energy streak through. What made her all the more afraid was that she liked the feeling of it.

"Exhilarating isn't it?" A male voice whispered in her ear. Vex didn't bother looking behind her cause she knew who it was already. Cell grinned evilly at her silence.

"I've already gotten those that were hiding. The others are already gone." Vex was suddenly picked up by strong arms. Cell didn't say what he was doing as he floated into the air and Vex didn't complain. Quietly both bio androids flew to their next destination where there would be more helpless humans to devour.

Geez, I'm so sorry guys!! ^^ I've been kinda busy lately, but I hope ya enjoyed this chpt!! BTW, if ya like Digimon and have seen the 3rd season, I have a story up about that sexy biker digimon, Beelzemon. So far only 2chps are up, but I think it's pretty good so far! ^^ Well Laterz!
