Chapter 1: How Long Has it Been?

“How long has it been?” Goten asked himself staring at the blue sky.

It had been six years since he and Trunks stopped talking and a hatred formed that dissolved their friendship. When Goten was 18 he told Trunks that he was gay and always want to be with him. Trunks took the information hard and actually beat him. Goten didn’t fight back he just let Trunks kick the crap out of him while he cried. Trunks really hurt him and Goten didn’t know why he was so upset. Trunks left Goten bleeding badly. Luckily someone found him and got him to the hospital. Goten was released two days later. He packed his bags at midnight and ran away.

He had moved to Tokyo. He never even called his family and friends. When he got to Tokyo he started a new life as a fast food worker and then he would go to clubs to sing to make some more money or just to get off his lazy ass. One night after singing he got really drunk and had sex with a very good looking woman. In the end he had a brand new baby boy. The mother didn’t want the child and gave full custody to Goten. Goten was happy and raised the child by himself. He named his son Goku Jr. after his father. Goku Jr. looked a lot like Goten and even had his messy hair. The only thing that looked like his mother were his eyes which were Emerald green. Goten even trained Goku Jr. very well and he was throwing Ki blasts around. After 6 years with his child Goten decided he needed to go back home and show Goku, Chi Chi, Gohan, Videl, and Pan the new family addition.

When Goten got up he saw Goku Jr. clutching his tummy “Daddy I’m hungry.”

“Okay, lets get you something to eat, oh you are so like you grandfather you two will get along fine when you meet him tomorrow” Goten laughing at his son.

The next day Goten got all of his and Goku Jr. stuff packed. It wasn’t a long drive but Goku Jr. was hyper but than again he always was, which made Goten anxious to get out of the car. After four hours of driving Goten slowly pulled up to the old familiar house he used to live in. He took a deep breath while knots tangled up in his stomach. “How am I gonna do this?”

He helped Goku Jr. out of the car and took his hand and slowly walked up to the old door. He knocked on it and heard footsteps of his mother “One second ill be right there” in her old cheery tone.

When she opened the door her eyes widened and her mouth dropped. She didn’t even noticed his son she was just so happy to she her son. She started to cry and leaped on him hugging him when she pulled away she hit him upside the head “WHERE THE FUCK HAVE YOU BEEN I HAVE BEEN WORRIED SICK AND YOU NEVER CALLED AND 6 YEARS LATER YOU SHOW UP HERE WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING!” That’s when she heard her grandson giggling. Right there she fainted.

“MOM!?!?!?! Are you okay” Goten tried catching her

Goku came running down stairs from waking up from his nap due to all the commotion. He was amazed to see his son standing there looking at him while Chi Chi started to come to. Goku didn’t noticed his new grandson because he was hiding behind Goten. When they got into the kitchen Goku said in a harsh tone “Where the Fuck have you been, we have been fucken worried for Kamis Sacks!”

“Please don’t swear in front of my son” Goten said in a guilty yet happy tone.

Both parents eyes widened as they saw their 6 year old grandson. “You have a SON and you never told us!” Chi Chi yelled at Goten and than knelt down to Goku Jr. “Hey sweetie, what’s your name?”

“My name is Goku Jr. Daddy says I’m named after grandpa” Goku Jr. said in his shy and childish tone.

“That’s right I named him after you dad” Goten beamed.

Goku was overwhelmed and happy with the honor of his grandson being named after him. While Goten was explaining everything to his parents over coffee he told his parents how he had a child when he was gay. And then he went on what he has done with his life. Soon after when he was done Chi Chi asked in a concern way “How long will you be here?”

“I’m moving back I was hoping I could stay her until I find a place for the two of us to live” Goten explained.

Chi Chi was happy with this and agreed to let him live there. “Oh Gohan and everyone will be happy to see you” Chi Chi beamed “and Trunks” she said in a awkward way.

Gotens eyes grew into anger. He than asked in a harsh way “What do you mean Trunks? I hate him and if I ever see him I’ll make him wish he killed me 6 years ago!”

“You don’t mean that!” His mother asked.

“Like hell I do, why would he be happy to see me anyways? He beat me after I said I loved him?” Goten went on

“Well before Trunks knew you left which was like the day after you ran away he came back here in tears crying saying he was sorry for what he did he was delirious for hitting beating you that he wanted to be with you.” Chi Chi continued.

“Ah I don’t care and I don’t want anyone knowing I’m here same with Gohan, just wait a little bit for a while” Goten told his parents.

“Okay, but too bad I was kinda hoping that you would have fought in the new tournament” Goku said.

“There‘s a tournament? Yeah I’ll be in it, I could use the money and….I always wanted to show Goku Jr. how good I fight and I have gotten better” Goten laughed.

“But if you don’t want to be seen” his mother said

“Oh I wont ill use a black Cape!” Goten said.

“Great, one thing though, I’m hosting it so I wont be in it” Goku explained.

The day of the tournament Goten got dressed quickly and put the black cape and hood on him. He asked his father to take care of Goku Jr. and not let anyone see him until he revealed himself during the tournament. Goku agreed. When he signed up under the name TEN he than found out who he be battling first. Out of all people, VEGETA! But Goten wasn’t worried!

Everyone got their seats. Many people were talking about the mysterious black hooded man named TEN. When the gong rang Goku came out and announced that the first fight would be between TEN and Vegeta.

“You must know your gonna lose this tournament cause your hiding your sorry ass face from everyone” Vegeta smirked!

“Rule 1 in fighting never underestimate your opponent! You have too much kami damn pride! That’s why you always lose to Goku!”

“WHAT THE FUCK! You’ll regret those words you asshole” Vegeta jumped in the air and shooting down like a missile.

Goten just laughed and easily dodged the attack. Vegeta than began to rush at him delivering a fury of punches but Goten easily blocked and evaded them all. Vegeta was getting madder and madder by the minute. Goten wasn’t delivering any attacks and Vegeta was still losing. All of a sudden Goten got into a attack position and repeated “Rule 1 never underestimate your opponent remember that Vegeta!” Goten than sent a flying blue energy wave that hit Vegeta head on. Vegeta managed to block it but he fell outside the ring so he ended up losing. Before Vegeta could say anything the black hooded Goten turned his back and left the ring.

In the next round he found out he would be battling Videl, his sister-in-law. She was strong but not as strong as Vegeta so he could easily win without hurting her. After all he only wanted to hurt Trunks. When the two stepped in the ring they circled it staring into the blackness of the hood for and Goten looking into Videls eyes. Finally Videl ran straight to Goten. Goten jumped and landed right behind Videl. She heard him breath on her neck and it made her shiver uncontrollably. He than took her arm and threw her out of the ring. But before Gohan got there to help his wife, Goten held out a hand and said “Don’t be disappointed I can tell you have so much power in your blood.” Her eyes widened and than thanked the mysterious stranger.

“I know I heard that voice before but where?” She thought to herself sitting down with Pan.

Goku than came out for the third round and than yelled out “Son Gohan Vs TEN!” With that the crowd roared for they knew it would be a good fight. The eldest son of Goku versus the mysterious man who beat Vegeta and Videl with ease. Gohan bowed to Goten and Goten did the same.

“So why not tell us who you are?” Gohan asked with curiosity in his voice.

“No, Not until I win the final battle!” Goten said with terror in his voice.

Gohan than ran to Goten and tried to kick him but Goten grabbed the foot and threw it into the hard floor. Goten than jumped into the sky and elbowed Gohan in the stomach. Gohan easily got up and threw a Ki blast at him knowing he would have to take this battle seriously. When the Ki blast came at him Goten caught it and sent it right back to Gohan knocking him back a few feet.

“H…OW…Did you…do…that” Gohan managed to say as the blast took the wind out of him.

“Oh a little trick I know, why not quit while you have the chance I haven’t shown you my true power yet.” Goten explained.

“I RATHER DIE THAN GIVE UP!” Gohan said she he threw a bunch more at his opponent.

“You have a heart of a warrior and you are just like your dad, Goku” Goten than jumped away from Gohan.

Goten was able to block all the mini Ki blasts Gohan threw at him by throwing them in the air like fireworks. Goten than got into a attack mode and shoot a huge Ki beam straight at Gohan knocking him out of the contest.

In the fourth round he would be fighting Piccolo. The two didn’t speak to each other they just started at each other for three minutes. The two opponents ran towards each other punching each other not caring to block or evade any of them. When a kick would come at one of the two the other would be able to block it. It was a long fight of punches. The two than understood they couldn’t beat each other with their physical attacks they had to their Ki. Piccolo unleashed a whole bunch of Ki blasts the hit Goten directly. Goten was able to recover from them quickly. He kept on saying in his mind “I WONT LOSE I CAN’T LOSE.” Goten than took all his energy and focused it into one Ki blast. The Ki blast sent Piccolo flying and he was knocked out cold. After that Goten had one the fight against Piccolo. Now he was about to go to the finals and battle Trunks.

“Well here we are the FINALS! TRUNKS BREIFS VERSUS TEN!” Goku announced as people were cheering on the hooded man.

“Hehehe how long has it been Trunks?” Goten smirked in a evil way.

“What are you talking about? Do I know you?” Trunks asked back in a angry and confused tone.

“pfft, you’re a fucken asshole Trunks and I will finally get my revenge on you. I haven’t shown anyone my true power yet!” Goten said in pure anger and disgust.

“What the hell are you talking about and who the hell are you?” Trunks said with anger filling in his blood.

Just than Goten jumped in the air and took the cape off of him. He than went to punch Trunks just like a missile. Still not having any idea who he was due to the sun Trunks jumped away and watched as the mysterious boy who was his age punched the ground and get up with his back towards Trunks.

“…Chibi?” Trunks said in complete horror.

“You better shut the fuck up and fight me cause if you don’t I will have you an inch from death just like what you did to me six years ago!” Goten said as he turned around. His chocolate eyes had now turned red due to the hatred in his heart.

Trunks just stood there paralyzed in fear as the same with Gohan, Videl, Pan, Vegeta, Bulma, and Bra who were watching from the stands.
