Ch apter 2: Do you still love him?

"Chibi…?" Trunks was able to mutter out once again.

"Shut the fuck up, my name is G-O-T-E-N not Chibi!" Goten had anger and annoyance in his voice.

Before Trunks could say another word, Goten shot a Ki blast straight at him knocking him to the ground.

"Fight me asshole!" His voice was terrifying that sent shivers down all the peoples backs who heard him.

From the stands Chi Chi was crying. "He really is angry." Chi Chi realized Goten wasn't kidding earlier when he said he wanted to get revenge on Trunks.

"No" Trunks voice was weak, weaker than when he was a child even.

Goten raised an eye brow in confusion "Why, not?"

"You deserve to get revenge on me, what I did was unforgivable" Trunks got up but couldn't look at Gotens eyes.

"FINE BE THAT WAY!" Goten jumped into the air, launching a bunch of Ki blasts. Each of them hit Trunks, knocking him to the ground.

"GET UP AND FIGHT YOU IDIOT!" Vegeta's voice could be heard all over the place.

Trunks once again got back up and it was clear he'd sustained some damage, but it was nothing compared to what he had been accustomed to. He stood there looking into Goten's red, angry eyes. Trunks than knew that he couldn't repair his friendship with Goten and that he couldn't tell him how sorry he was for beating him and how he wanted to be with him and only him.

"Are you gonna fight me?" Goten's harsh words tore through Trunks heart due to the coldness in his voice.

"…No." Trunks began to sob while he was trying to get the one simple word out of his mouth.

Goten had gotten into a familiar stance which sent a terrible wave of fear over everyone including Goku and Vegeta. They knew that stance so well. It was the stance that helped them kill all of their old opponents.

"Ka Me!" Goten then began to shout out at the top of his lungs.

"Get out of there, Trunks, NOW!" Bulma screamed at her petrified son.

"Ha Me Ha…" a blue ball began to appear between Gotens hands.

"PLEASE TRUNKS GET OUT OF THERE!" Gohan screamed at the teen, who was still waiting for that which he had been waiting for for six years.

"WAVE!" Goten then shot the beam straight at Trunks.

"I'm sorry Goten…." Trunks was thrown into a wall as the blast hit him. Goten finished the attack on the boy and when he was done he saw that Trunks was knocked out cold, but was still breathing.

The whole audience was paralyzed with complete shock. Even Goku was afraid to move. None of the Z fighters had ever seen that much power in Goten.

"DADDY!!!!! YOU WON!!!!" a cherry little voice was the only thing that broke through the cold dead silence on that afternoon.

Goten shut his eyes, turned to his son, Goku Jr., and then opened them once again to his old innocent chocolate eyes with a warm smile on his face. He then bent down and hugged Goku Jr. and placed him on his head.

Goku than walked over to his son, still amazed by the power he had shown everyone. "Son Goten is the winner" Goku took his right hand and raised it. "Here is your prize money and the Six Star Dragon Ball."

The crowed cheered for Goten while Bulma, Vegeta, and Bra were trying to help Trunks but he was knocked out cold.

"Daddy," Goku Jr. kicked his father in the chest gently so he could get his fathers attention "can we please get something to eat?"

"Sure" Goten then waved goodbye to everyone and flew away from the tournament with his son.

While Goten and Goku Jr. were eating lunch together, Goku, Chi Chi, Gohan, Videl, Pan, Vegeta, Bulma, and Bra took Trunks to the hospital. Trunks wasn't hurt that bad. Just a few broken bones that were already
healing due to his being a Saiyan.

"Your son is a menace to society, Goku," Vegeta was giving the evileye to Goku.
"VEGETA, SHUT THE FUCK UP RIGHT NOW! HE GOT WHAT HE DESERVED! AFTER ALL, IF YOU DO REMEMBER, HE BEAT GOTEN SIX YEARS AGO, KAMI DAMMIT!" Bulma was mad and was literally turning red as she shouted at her husband. Vegeta just gave up. He hated it when Bulma was so pissed off she couldn't see straight.

Trunks woke up a few hours later. He could tell everyone was pissed at him and each other.

"What happened? Where's Goten? I need to talk to him now."

"Oh honey I don't think my son will ever be with you… a lot has happened…you see, well…" Chi Chi was than cut off by Vegeta at the end.

"That brat you have a crush on has a brat." Vegeta's voice was cold and cut at Trunks's heart. Trunks then looked down at the bed and sprung up when an idea popped into his head. "His kid might be adopted!"

"Nope, it is his biological son" Goku than walked to Trunks bed. "He has been here for two days now and told me and Chi Chi how he had him, but he still is gay and you might still have a chance." Goku winked at Trunks.

Later on that night, Goten brought Goku Jr. home. When he put Goku Jr. to bed he went back downstairs to get a drink and wait for Gohan. He knew is older brother would want to talk to him after not seeing him for six years.

"Hey big brother it's been a while" Goten said when he heard the door to the old house open.

"Hey" Gohan had caught a bottle of beer that his brother threw to him.

After about two hours of talking about each others' lives, Goku and Chi Chi came home. They told both their sons that Trunks had been released from the hospital just a little while ago. When Gohan was about to leave Goten asked his brother if he could take Goku Jr. for
the day because he was going to look for an apartment. Gohan agreed; it was a chance to get to know his new nephew.

The next day Goku flew his grandson to Gohans' house. When Goku Jr. got to the house, Videl and Gohan kept asking him questions about him and Goten. Pan decided to save her cousin from her two crazy parents.

When they all ate lunch Goku Jr. decided to ask a question he couldn't have asked his father.

"Who is Trunks?"

"WHAT? You don't know?" Gohan dropped his sandwich to his plate.
"Goten never talks about Trunks?"

"Well yes. Sometimes when he is sleeping he'll cry out 'No Trunks please don't hurt me!'" Goten watched as Gohan and Videls face went green.

"Um….Trunks is that guy with the purple hair you daddy fought yesterday!" Gohan explained to the child.

"Oh…did he hurt daddy?" Goku Jr. asked in his innocent child voice.

"Um…they would fight each other as kids for fun, don't worry about Trunks." Gohan explained to his nephew. "Pan dear, can you please bring Goku Jr. to your room and play video games."

"Okay daddy, come on Goku lets go play!" Pan grabbed her cousins arm and both darted upstairs.

"Oh dear" Videl looked at her confused husband.

"He still loves him!" Gohan looked back at Videl.

"Is that a good thing or a bad thing?" Videl asked her husband.

"That's not for us to decide. We'll ask him when he comes here to
pick up Goku Jr. tonight."

Later on that night, Goten had come to pick up his son and tell him that he had found and gotten a new apartment for them. Gohan has asked him if he wanted to stay for dinner. Goten agreed and they all ate dinner. After dinner Gohan and Goten went outside.

"Goten, your son said something odd today" Gohan looked at his brother.

"What was it?" Goten was confused with what his son could possibly say that was important.

"He said you cry in your sleep talking about Trunks" Gohan looked into his brother's
chocolate eyes that were frightened.

"WHAT? I DON'T!" Goten had anger in his voice as he went on the defensive to get into a fight with his brother.

"But your son…" right when Gohan opened his mouth Goten cut him off.

"I DO NOT AND THAT'S ALL THAT MATTERS" Gohan could have sworn that while Goten was yelling at him, tears were forming in his eyes.

"I DON'T BELIEVE YOU! YOU ALWAYS HAD FEELINGS FOR HIM! AND YOU STILL DO!" Gohan yelled out to his younger brother.

"Fuck you, I hate him! It was a mistake coming back here" Goten was so angry that he was clenching his fists in his hands so hard they were begging to bleed.

Gohan walked right up to his brother and punched him in the face. Goten fell to the ground. When he got up he was rubbing his jaw, staring at his brother with terrified eyes.

"Do you still love Trunks Briefs, Goten?" Gohan said in a demanding voice.
