"Push harder!" Tala commanded harshly. The caves exit was blocked by an abnormaly large boulder, and Tala was making the saiyans push it out of the way. Pan, still feeling a little sick from her illusion the cave lizards made, was unable to help. Vegeta saying that moving a boulder would be a waste of strengh, sat in a corner. Goten said if he pulled something trying to push the rock out of the way he couldn't take his new girlfriend out, and backed out. Gohan making the worst excuse said he was too tired to do so, leaving Trunks with the hard labor. "Put your back into it damn it!" Vegeta growled.
"I'm trying!" Trunks yelled, red in the face from exaustion. Vegeta said, "It's just a rock for pitys sake! You're embarrising the family name!"
"If your so strong, you do it!" Trunks yelled, ceasing his efforts to move the boulder.
"Fine! I'll show you how a saiyan should act!" And with that, Vegeta got up and proceeded to the rock. He put his fingers on the bottom of it and lifted, only pulling it one inch off the ground. Vegeta growled in frustration and highend his power, changing himself into a super saiyan in the process. Vegeta surronded in gold light, lifted the rock and crushed it into dust. Vegeta panted and changed himself back to normal. "And that's how it's done!" Even though Vegeta said it in their faces, the others wern't looking at him, but had their eyes at the patch of dirt where the boulder once stood. Vegeta looked as well, and saw horse bones, or horse skulls by the look of their bodys.
There were two of them. Their bodys were old and skeletole, but the body was not of human. The head looked horse like, and their torso was bulky and hunched. The arms and fingers looked those of a human, gripping what was sure to be the boulder. Their lower body was just as strange. Human looking, but looked like it belonged to a hunch-back, and their feet were hooved and scratched, looking like they endured the weather of mud, fire, and steel.
"What are they?" Pan asked though the silence. Tala was the only one to answer, and she said, "They were foolish men. Many men cowardly begged for their lives when Teigra attacked Teigra. I saw these two men at human form, when they were on their knees, begging, pleading, swearing their allegiance with Teigra, while their family was slain." Tala spoke with hate in her voice, and she glared at the corpses in front of her, her eyes glowing the dark.
"Teigra spared their lives but not their minds, bodys, or humanity. She changed them... made them kill at Hiros side. These men were sinners... and victems of Teigras cruelity."
"How they get here though?" Goten asked. "Are they... still dangerous?"
"No." Tala answered flatly. "These two will not rise from the damned, Hiro killed them in his unconrollable rage. He sent them to hell." Tala spoken words filled Pan with saddness. Tala spoke of the two poor men with unforgivness, and Pan wondered if she thought Hiro was a sinner as well. "We must leave." Tala said, snapping Pan out of her thoughts. "Teigras castle is close."

They passed on, a small light was on the end of the caves tunnel, marking the end of the wet cave. They went through the exit and Pan was blinded by the light. When her sight came to, she saw that they had reached the very top of the mountain, and that the castle was only a football feild away in the air. Clouds were at their feet and covered half of the castle. Pan thought the sight was pretty, but she noticed a problem. "Hey." she started. "How are we all going to get to the castle?" she asked, for she showed that the fort was not part of the mountain. "And if we could all fly there, wouldn't it just get bigger like before?"
"The castle will not grow, the corpses we found in the cave were making that magic; Teigra must have done somthing to make them do it. And as for getting there, one of you'll have to carry me."
"No problem!" Trunks said, walking over to lift her. He tried many times but Tala seemed too heavy, and Trunks soon was panting again. "Not this problem again." Vegeta said, his face covered by his hand. Tala sighed.
"I'll make this easier for you, but to just warn you I havn't done this in a long time." Tala closed her eyes, and for a while nothing happened. Goten was going to ask what she was doing, but Tala started to glow a pale blue. Her entire body was soon covered in a blue light and when she opened her eyes, her eyes had turned a burning white. The glow was blinding, and her body was blurred and started to change. The wolf form of Tala was being replaced by a womans, and for a second it looked like it was about to fracture. Tala looked like she was screaming, but no noise escaped her fanged mouth. The light disapeared and revealed Tala in human form.
To everyones surprise Tala looked like a woman of twenty, and her hair was jet black and tied into a high pony tail. Her eyes remained wolf like and so did her teeth but everything else was changed, she even wore clothing. She wore dark blue pants and a strange shirt. She had a black cape over her shoulders, with silver lining that looked like a feirce wolf. She also wore blue and silver jewls on her fingers and ears, and her nails were painted midnight blue.
"This is my true form." she explained to the gaping saiyans, her voice had also changed drasticly to their surprise. "When I was a god this was the form I mostly used. Unfortunitly, when I was a god I was much more powerful." she said looking at her hands. "I guess that's what happens when you force yourself to change into a demon. At least it'll be easier to carry me-"
"I'll carry you!" Goten said, happily blushing at the new younger Tala. Tala growled in anger.

They were all flying towards the white castle (with Gohan carring Tala). Goten had earned a hard punch on top of his head by Tala, and made Gohan carry her just to spite Goten (and it worked very well). "Thank you for being a gentleman, Gohan." Tala said sweetly, purposly making Goten angerier. "No problem." Gohan said a little nervously. "Damn it..." Goten sweared. "That's what you get for acting like that at Tala." Trunks said.
The grounds of the castle court yard was where they landed. The floor was made of a strange stone Pan never seen before, and it was painted all over showing the mystirous art style the Teigrans once had. In front of them was a black stairway leading to a giant gate that Pan was sure led inside the castle. They climbed the stairs and was greeted by eerie statues Pan had seen from afar.
The statue were made of the matirial as the floor and were pearl white. They were a threating cross between (by pans observations) a lizard, lion, and human. Their entire lower body was like a dragon, compleate with a long tail ending in a spear like tip. Their heads were human and Pan wondered if they used to be people; each head looked differnt from the other. Their neck were covered in some kind of fur, that Pan knew was a mane of a lion, and their teeth were fanged like the cat.
Intemidating or not, they were statues. But Pan didn't let her gaurd down around them as they all approuched the gate, she almost knew they spring to life and start to attack, like the statues at Indivars Tower. Tala opened the doors with both arms, and they entered. Much to Pans releif the statues didn't budge.
Inside were many stairs, and the ceiling could not be seen from the black marble. The floor was painted with dragons demons and warriors, all shrouded in fire. A burning sun was placed in the middle of the art, and Pan was sure it represented the false moon Teigra creates for Hiro. Tala walked inside without fear. "Teigra!" she yelled, her voice almost sounding like a wolfs howl. Nothing moved, and the only noise was Talas echo.
"Shouldn't we-" Gohan began.
"Shh!" Tala growled cutting him off. "She's here. I smell her." she said, her wolf eyes glaring. Just when she finished, the sun began to glow white, and a womans form lifted from it: Teigra showed herself. "Teigra." Tala growled. Teigra looked amused when she saw Tala, and even more when she saw the saiyans.
"Tala. I'm surprised to see you here, but even more so that your in your humanoid form. You're so much weaker than before, why did you do it anyway?" Tala looked furious.
"I should be asking you that question! You murdered your own child! You manipulated a boy that had nothing to do with Teigra, and you used him to kill you own creation! Why did you do it?" Teigras eyes glowed like fire in the darkness as Tala spoke.
"I meerily granted Hiros wish. He wanted to see his own people burn at his hand... we made a deal. For training and powers of fire, Hiro could kill all the people in his village. In exchange Hiro would become my servant, and destroy my... child." she said frowning a little at the sound of calling Teigra her child.
"Lier!" Pan yelled. "Hiro wouldn't want that! You manipulated him to thinking that!"
"Silence." Teigra said calmly. "How would you know? I ventured into Hiros mind, his soul. I saw everything he hated, everything he loved; he wanted those people dead. I made him into a super saiyan to give him the strengh, I gave him my fire too. But when all of the village was destroyed, and all the people were dead, he wanted out of our deal. So I forced him to go through it. I made him destroy Teigra."
"You..." Pan growled.
"All saiyans want destruction, and he's a pure blood saiyan. It's in his blood."
"Vegeta's a pure blood saiyan and he doesn't want that! So was my father, and he loved earth!" Gohan protested. Teigra laughed at Gohans words.
"Your father was a fool, a man who hurt his head as a baby. Even the begining he was a blood thirsty little monster, he just turned a new leaf because his basterd grandfather dropped him. Same for Vegeta, he loved to fight and destroy, but that slut of a woman made him weak, just like Pan did to Hiro. I didn't manipulate Hiro as much as the human race did."
"Shut up!" Vegeta yelled. "Don't talk about me like you know me, let alone the saiyan race."
"Yeah! What do you know anyway?" Goten agreed.
"Look at you." Teigra began. "A once proud race of fighters, now nothing. The humans made you weak, and the same goes for Tala. Next to Zohar she was the strongest, but she changed herself into a low life- a demon, to protect humans even. Zohar as well. He was so powerful, but he spent all of his strengh protecting humans. Indivar was the only one who thought right, but the fool wanted to be worshipped by the humans, so he threw his life away-" Teigra stepped aside, dodging a white chi blast from Tala. Teigra looked at Tala, her face full of anger. "Very well, I had enough of you anyway." Teigra brought forth a flame in her palm, and gripped it hard. the flame glowed and became a steel sword.
Tala did the same with her white chi, and made a long silver spear in her hands. They ran at each other and struck their weapons together. Their blades moved in blinding speed, too fast for the saiyans to see. Teigra blocked and parried a stab from Tala, and ran a few feet from her enemy. She struck at the air, cutting open a black and green portal. Tala lept at Teigra, and they both jumped inside of the portal, disapearing from the saiyans veiw.
Vegeta walked to the middle of the room and looked around. "We must look for Hiro while Teigra is distracted." They all agreed and followed Vegeta up a stairway.

The stairway led long and when they reached the top they saw three differnt doors to choose. They decided to split into groups and venture into one of the doors, but there was a flaw; one of the saiyans would have to go through alone, the question was who? Vegeta stated that he could do so by himself, but Pan inwardly disagreed. Somthing about the black wood doors told her it wasn't safe to enter alone: her ability to sense chi (and natural womanly senses as Pan called it) told her to beware of what layed inside. "Are you sure, Vegeta?" Gohan asked. "I don't like the feel of those doors, somthing bad is behind them all."
"I can handle myself. Besides, Pan is the only person we need to keep safe. Without her Hiro won't come back to us." Vegeta said approuching one of the doors. Vegeta placed a hand on the golden nob and turned it open and walked inside. "I'll be-" The door slammed hard before Vegeta could finish, and Gohan ran to it only to find that he was incapable to open it once more. "We better be cautious..." Gohan muttered, walking to another door. "Pan, you will come with me. Can you two handle yourselves?" he asked Trunks and Goten. They nodded and soon walked into their own doors, with it slamming behind them after word. Gohan and Pan approuched the last remaining door and walked forward without saying anything to eachother. They both entered with the door slamming hard on them.
It was a very large round room with no exit or decoration. They only light coming to their eyes was from from a hole in the ceiling the size of Pans Grandfather, and Pan could tell it would not serve as an exit, for she sensed a strange force blocking it. The room was made of a gray stone and in the middle of the room, and lying in the sunlight was a animal.
It was the size of a Tiger, and it was curled up in a ball, apparently sleeping. Pan could see it had light green scales and a long tail, but everything else was blocked by its large body. It twitched and raised its head, revealing its human skull and golden main. It had long gray hair and its face was caressed with wrinkles and looked like it had not seen sunlight in years. It had black eyes with milk white puiples and golden fur all along its neck, and small fangs stuck out of its lips. It stared at the pair of strangers in front of him, and stood. Its spear like tail swished as it continued to stare at the father and daughter, and began to weeze as if somthing was wrong with its lungs.
It filled Pan with a strange sort of fear she'd never felt once. It was half pity and half disgust, and it made Pan sad as she thought of her new found fear.
"Answer... my riddle." It croaked. "Answer it correctly... and I'll let you pass... to the demon. Answer wrong... and your heart will be mine to... to devour."
"Answer my question first." Pan said after some silence. "The demon... do you mean Teigra?" The creature frowned. "Answer my... riddle first. I'll answer your questions... if you survive." he said with a hint of anger in his voice. "I make the oppisit... of dreams. I... give you what you don't seek... after life. I am everywhere... and nowhere. You should not... fear anything but me. What am I?"
Pan was at a stump, she was never good at riddles. Gohan looked like he was concentrating hard, and then he looked at the creature and said he had the answer. "The oppisit of dreams is a nightmare. What we don't seek when we die is to go to hell. It seems to be everywhere when it's really just in your mind. And we only have it to fear... the answer is 'fear'." The creature smiled and said that Gohan was correct. (much to Pans relife.)
"Now will you answer my questions?" Pan asked. The animal nodded. "Is the demon you were talking about Teigra?"
"No... she is not the creature I am talking about."
"Then who do you mean?"
"... Hiro!" it growled. "Hiro... is the foul demon I speak of!"
"What? Why do you call him that?"
"I remember when it all started... long ago. He fell from the sky... we all thought he was a blessing... an adorable baby. But I knew what he was... that tail wasn't human... but they ignored it... and my warnings. They treated Hiro like any other child... playing with him... feeding him... loving him... everyone in the village loved him. Then when he was... two years of age... he showed us all what he was. He brought a light to his hands... and killed a man. That's when they all... came to their senses. We threw him out... on the streets like trash. He wouldn't leave the village though... he stayed living off of others half eaten... thrown away food. We treated him like a rat... for years. Then... he proved to us all... that he was a demon. He killed everyone! In a cold deadly... golden light. He then disapeared... the basterd."
"If you treated him like a living person that wouldn't had happened!" Pan yelled in anger.
"Silence!" the animal yelled with the most force Pan had seen it use. "He's a demon... a devil."
"Then what are you?" Gohan asked. "You don't qualify as "human" to me."
"I... was a human. I... changed because of Hiro."
"Hiro... deformed you?" Pan asked in shock. The creature smiled.
"In a way. Hiro killed everyone... in the village that night. But me... my brother... and sister lived. Even if we survived the attack... we would die soon. So... we did what no one should... ever do. We ate the other people of our village... we became... cannibals. We lived after the attack... and after that day... we became addicted to the flesh of humans. For years and years we hunted... the land of our home... killing our fellow man for us to eat. Eventualy... it changed out bodys in the strangest... of ways. Our entire bodys became dragon like... our faces aged faster than it should had... our body hair... became manes around our necks. We became monsters...! We scoureched the land... looking for Hiro and food... then we came to meet... her. She spoke of vengence for us... and human flesh... to quench our thirst. Her satanic promises... brought us here." Pan and Gohan were stunned by the mans story. The man lied down in the sun again. "Leave." it spoke. Behind it the wall disapeared, revealing a long dark hallway. "The demon... awaits."
Pan and Gohan cautiously walked past the man, and entered the dark void not looking back.
