The Crystal Saga - Part 3 - Pokemon



(This is set during the Pokemon Johto series but at no specific point.Just pick whenever you
want it to be set)




Videl:Now where are we?

Gohan:No idea.

Goku:Some kind of forest.Looks peaceful enough.

?:AAHHHHHHHH!SOMEBODY HELP ME!

We looked up and saw a boy being carried away by some kind of bird.The bird looked like some
kind of robot.It's body looked like it was made of metal.

Bird:SKAMORY!

Me:We have to help him.Leave this to me.

I flew up at the bird and smacked into its wing.The bird lost its balance and dropped the boy.
I grabbed him with one arm and shot a low power blast near the bird and scared it off.I
floated back to the ground and put the boy down.He looked about 11 or 12 years old.He had
jet black hair and wore a read and white cap with a strange green symbol on it.

Boy:Thank you for helping me,but how did you do that?Are you a Pokemon?

Me:Just what is a Pokemon?

Boy:You don't know what a Pokemon is?That bird was one.And there are a lot of different
types of other Pokemon aswell.

Girl:ASH!

I figured that must be the boys name.

Ash:Over here guys!

Girl:Ash are you alright?

A strange little yellow creature jumped into Ash's arms and nuzzled him affectionatly.

Ash:Hi Pikachu.I'm so glad to see you.

Girl:Ash what happened?

Ash:That Skamory grabbed me but he rescued me.

He was pointing at me.

Girl:How?Did he use a Pokemon?

Ash:No,he could fly and he somehow shot an energy blast near the Skamory and scared it off.

Girl:Fly?How?

Ash:I don't know.How can you fly and how did you shoot that blast from your hand?

Me:I'm a Saiyan.We can all do that.

Girl:What's a Saiyan?Is it some kind of Pokemon?

Me:For the last time I am not a Pokemon!

Boy:Hey guys!

Another boy ran up to us.He had darker skin and seemed to have something wrong with his eyes.

Me:Who are you 2 anyway?

Ash:This is Misty and this is Brock.

Me:What's wrong with his eyes?

Brock:THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH MY EYES!

Me:Geez,sorry.Anyway,where are we?

Ash:This is Ilex Forest,just outside Azalea Town.Where are you from anyway?

Me:This is going to sound sort of strange but we're from another dimension.

Ash/Misty/Brock:Another Dimension?!?!?!

Me:Yes,We need to find a crystal fragment that looks like this but a little smaller.

Vegeta held up the crystal fragment we had collected so far.

Me:Seen anything like it around here?

Ash:No nothing like it.What are all of your names anyway?

Me:I'm Dave,This is Ryoko,Goku,Goten,Gohan,Videl,Pan,Vegeta,Bulma and Trunks.

Ash:Nice to meet you all.

Goku:Same here.

Vegeta:Hmph!

Ash:We were on our way to Goldenrod City,you guys want to come with us?Maybe your crystal
piece is there.

Me:which direction is Goldenrod City?

Brock:That way.

Brock pointed further into the forest.

Me:Bulma,what does the locator say?

Bulma:Well,the crystal fragment is in that direction.We may as well go with them.

Ash:All right,Lets go!

We set off walking through the forest and after about an hour stopped.

Me:What's wrong?

Ash:er,well we seem to be...

Misty:LOST!YOU GOT US LOST AGAIN ASH!

Ash:We're not lost,I just don't know exactly where we are right now.

Me:Relax,I'll just check which way the city is.

I flew up into the air and looked around.I saw a city about 2 miles away but the trees between
us and the city were very thick.Unless we carried anyone who couldn't fly it would be almost
a 4 hour walk.I went back down to the ground to tell the others.

Me:Alright,anyone who can't fly is going to be carried or it's a 4 hour walk.

I grabbed Ryoko,Goku grabbed Ash and Misty and Gohan took Brock.It only took about half a minute
to fly over the trees and we landed just outside the city.

Ash:Alright,I'm gonna get to the Pokemon Gym right away!

Me:What's a Pokemon gym?

Misty:It's where Pokemon trainers go to earn a badge to get into the Pokemon league.You battle
the leader of the gym and if you win you get a badge.

Me:So Ash is going to fight some guy just to earn a badge?

Misty:No,Ash doesn't fight the gym leader.Ash's Pokemon fight the gym leaders Pokemon.That's
what Pokemon battle's are all about.One trainers Pokemon fighting anothers.

Me:Oh,I get it.Can we watch?

Ash:Sure.The gym is this way,let's go!

We made our way to a large building and entered.Ash walked up to a woman who I figured was the
gym leader.The leader accepted the challenge and the battle begun.(I don't know what Pokemon
this leader uses in the anime and I can't remember what Pokemon she uses in the game so I'm
just going to pick any,although I do remember they were normal types)

Leader:PIDGEOTTO GO!

Ash:Pikachu GO!

A bird came out of the gym leaders red & white Poke-ball and Ash's Pikachu ran out onto the
field.

Leader:Pidgeotto,Wing Attack!

The Pidgeotto dove at Pikachu and smacked it's wing into Pikachu,throwing it across the battle
field.

Ash:Pikachu,Are you ok?!

Pikachu stood up and was ready to fight.

Ash:Alright,Pikachu,Thunderbolt!

A huge bolt of electricity came from Pikachu and zapped Pidgeotto,which fell to the floor unable
to fight.

Leader:Pideotto,return!

A red beam came out of the Poke-Ball and sucked Pidgeotto in.

Leader:Furret GO!

A small squirrel type creature came out of the Poke-Ball and stood on it's tail ready to fight.

Ash:Pikachu,return!

Pikachu ran back to Ash who pulled out a Poke-Ball.

Ash:Chikorita GO!

A small yellowis/green creature with a leaf on its head emerged from the Poke-Ball.

Ash:Chikorita,Vine Whip!

Two vines came from Chikorita's neck and tried to slap the Furret but it was too quick.The
Furret had moved away and kept dodging the vines.

Leader:Furret,Quick Attack!

The Furret moved extremely fast and hit Chikorita head-on.I knew normal human eyes couldn't
see the Furret as it moved but I could see it,and I knew some of the others could too.
Chikorita had been hit hard and was out of the battle.

Ash:Chikorita,return!

Ash had re-called Chikorita and took out another Poke-Ball.

Ash:Cyndaquil GO!

A small creature with 4 spots on it's back came out of the Poke-Ball.The Furret tried to
attack it but the 4 spots suddenly erupted in flames.The Furret moved back and Cyndaquil
used a Flamethrower attack to knock-out the Furret.

Leader:Furret,return!Milktank GO!

What looked like a cow came out of the Poke-Ball.

Leader:Milktank,Take-Down!

The Milktank charged Cyndaquil and before it could react was threw across the battle field.
The flames on its back went out and it was slumped on the floor.

Ash:Cyndaquil,return!Pikachu,get back out there and show them what we can do!

Pikachu ran back out onto the field and tried to attack the Milktank but it was faster than
it looked.

Ash:Pikachu,Quick Attack!

Pikachu quickly charged the Milktank and knocked it back.

Leader:Milktank,Take-Down!

The Milktank charged Pikachu which tried to move,but it was caught on its back and knocked
over.

Ash:Pikachu,are you alright?

Pikachu stood up and looked like it was angry.

Ash:Alright,Pikachu,Thunderbolt!

Pikachu hit the Milktank dead on and did some serious damage but it was still standing.

Ash:Pikachu,finish it with a Quick attack!

Pikachu charged the Milktank which was too hurt and tired to really move so was hit dead on
and knocked out of the battle.

Leader:Milktank return!Well done Ash.You've earned a Plain Badge.

The leader handed over the badge to Ash who then shook the leaders hand.

Ash:Thanks,That was a great battle.

We left the gym and went to the Pokemon center to heal Ash's Pokemon.

Ryoko:That was great to watch.

Me:Yeah,it's great to watch a battle for once instead of risking your life being in one.

Ash:Risk your life?

Me:Sure,most of the fights I've been in depended on my winning just for me to survive.A while
ago the lives of everyone on Earth depended on me winning.

Ash:Amazing.

Me:Painful is the word I'd use.It wasn't easy beleive me.

Goku:I know how you feel.

Me:I'll bet.You guys must have had some much tougher battles than me.

Vegeta:I have defeated enemies stronger than you will ever face.

Me:Including you I take it.I mean,who won that fight back in Tokyo on that alternate version
of Earth?

Vegeta:Grrrr.Forget it.

Me:See,you're not so tough,you just wont admit it.

Misty:Sounds like someone I know.

She looked at Ash with an evil grin.

Ash:Shut up Misty!I'm tougher than you!

Misty:Oh yeah!

Ash:Yeah!

Ash and Misty began arguing and fighting.Brock told us it was a regular thing and we shouldn't
get in their way.The way things looked I don't think even Vegeta wanted to get involved.
Eventually Pikachu seemed to get annoyed and shocked them both back to their senses.

Brock:Alright you two.Let's just get some rest,it's getting dark.

We were showed to some rooms upstairs in the Pokemon center.It was pretty big and most of us
had our own rooms.Although the families stayed together,Goku and Goten stayed in one room,
Gohan,Videl and Pan stayed in another,Bulma and Trunks had another room,Vegeta had a room to
himself and so did me and Ryoko.In the middle of the night Ryoko knocked on my door and came
in.She had her hair down and was in her long pink hightdress which perfectly matched her
pink hair which she had down.She also looked like she had been crying.I immediatly dashed over
to her and held her close to me.She cried into my shoulder a little then sat down.

Me:What happened?Did someone hurt you?

Ryoko:No,nothing like that.I just had a really bad nightmare.

Me:Tell me about it.That might make you feel better.

Ryoko:Alright.I dreamt that we got back home,but when we did everything was gone.There were
ruins everywhere and everybody was dead.Then I dreamt that you suddenly ran away from
me yelling you didn't love me and that you hated me.I tried to run after you but no
matter how fast I ran I didn't move.And then a strange black shape appeared behind me
and then it swung its arm at me and I woke up.

She broke down and started crying into my shoulder again.I held her and ran my hands through
her hair.

Me:Don't worry Ryoko.It was just a dream.Nothing like that will ever happen.I'll always love
you and I wont let anything happen to you.

Ryoko:Thank you.I feel much better now.

Me:That's good.

Ryoko:Can I sleep in here with you?I don't want to go back to my room or I might have more
nightmares.

Me:Sure.I'll sleep on the couch,you have the bed.And wake me up if you have any more bad dreams.

Ryoko:You take the bed,this is your room.

Me:No,you are having the bed if you want it or not.

I picked Ryoko up and placed her on the bed and pulled he covers over her.I kissed her
goodnight and set up a pillow and cover on the couch before going to sleep myself.
When I woke up Ryoko was still asleep.She must have been really tired.I decided to go and
bring some breakfast up to her.I wanted to make her as comfortable as possible today.I went
downstairs and grabbed some Orange juice,toast,an apple and a bowl of cereal.I put it on a
tray and went back upstairs.I walked back into the room and Ryoko was just waking up.

Me:Morning,I've brought you your favourite breakfast.

Ryoko:You shouldn't have.

Me:I want you to be as comfortable as you can today.You've had a bad night so I'm going to
make sure you have a good day.

I placed the tray down on the bed and Ryoko ate her breakfast.

Ryoko:Delicious.I better go back to my room and get ready.

Me:I better get ready myself.

Ryoko went back to her room and I got changed myself.Goku had given me one of his training
outfits (The orange one with the blue shirt underneath)It was pretty comfortable and would
really be good to move around in if I got into a tough fight,better than what I had been wearing
before.I stepped out of my room and met Ryoko in the hall.

Ryoko:Did Goku give you that?

Me:Yeah,what do you think?

Ryoko:It looks good on you.Really suits you.

Me:Thanks,come on,lets go.

Ryoko:Ok.

Ryoko held my arm and rested her head on my shoulder.I smiled and and put my arm around her
and on her shoulder.We walked downstairs and met the others.

Goku:You 2 seem happy today.

Me:Yeah.Thanks for the clothes by the way.

Goku:No problem.

Misty:Isn't that romantic?Don't they make a perfect couple?

Me:Let's go.We have to find the Crystal piece.

Bulma:According to the locator it isn't in the city.It's further ahead but I'm not sure how
far.

Me:Well lets just walk around the city for a while before we go.It would be a shame not to
look around for a while.

Vegeta:Waste of time.We should find the crystal as soon as we can and get back to our own
dimension.

Goku:Come on Vegeta,be a little more laid back for once.

Vegeta:Fine,waste your time.

Me:Let's all meet back here at 3:00.

Goku:Ok,let's go.

We left the Pokemon Center and all split up.I walked around slowly with Ryoko and she never
let go of my arm.We bought some Ice Cream and found ourselves in the gigantic mart in the
city center.

Ryoko:It's huge.Can we go in?

Me:Sure,whatever you want to do.

We walked into the mart and I was sure Ryoko was almost pulling me to go faster.We checked
out each of the floors and went up to the roof.

Ryoko:This city is huge.If only we had more time to look around.

Me:Well,why don't we have an overhead tour?

Ryoko:Huh?

I put Ryoko on my back and made sure she was secure and took off from the roof.We covered
the entire city in just a few hours.It was almost 3 so I landed near the Pokemon center.

Ryoko:That was great!

The others came over and had all been around some of the city.

Goku:So shall we get going?

Ash:Yeah.We need to start moving towards the next gym before it gets too late.

Brock:According to the map the next gym is in Ecruteak City,about 4 days from here.

Misty:4 days?Do we have to walk the entire way?

Brock:I'm afraid so.There's no other way,although the Johto National Park is between here
and Ecruteak City.

Bulma:Well as far as I can see the crystal fragment is about 1 day from here.

Me:We better get going.

We set off and left the city.We travelled down a dusty road for a few hours before deciding
to stop for a rest.We just sat and talked about where we had been and what we had done.As
normal Vegeta was almost bragging and made himself out to be stronger than any of us.We set
off again and walked until it had gotten really dark.We decided to stop and set up camp.
Gohan and Videl had bought some camping equipment for the rest of us so we all had a
sleeping bag.We talked some more before going to sleep.I was woken up in the middle of the night
by someone shaking me gently.I looked up and saw it was Ryoko and she looked like she had been
crying.

Me:What's wrong?

Ryoko:I had that same nightmare again,but it was more clear this time.

Me:What happened?

Ryoko:It was the same as last time but at the end the black shape had more colour.It was kind
of purple and white but I've never seen it before.David,I'm scared.I don't want that
nightmare to come true but I'm afraid it will.

Me:Ryoko,It'll never come true.I'll make sure of it.

Ryoko:Thank you.Sorry I woke you up.

Me:Don't be sorry.You can wake me up anytime for anything.

Ryoko went back to her sleeping bag and I waited for her to go to sleep.I then went back to
sleep myself but I couldn't help but feel like we were being watched but I couldn't sense
anyone around.When we woke up we packed up our things and set off again.After a few hours
Ryoko didn't look too good.

Me:Ryoko,are you alright?You don't look too good.

Ryoko:I-I don't know.I feel like I do when I'm having that nightmare.

Me:Come on.I'll carry you.You need to rest.

I got Ryoko on my back and began walking again but I felt like last night.I knew someone was watching
us.

Me:Guys,do you feel like we're being watched?

Goku:Funny you say that,I do.But I can't sense anyone else around.

Gohan:Same here.

Vegeta:I have a strange feeling but can't sense anyone aswell.

Me:WHOEVER'S THERE!COME OUT!

Voice:So,you found out I was here.Well done.

There was a flash in the sky and some kind of figure had appeared.

Ryoko:NO!AHH!

Ryoko fell to the floor and curled up in fear.

Me:Ryoko,what's wrong?

Ryoko:That's the one from my nightmare.He's going to take you away.

Me:Not if I can help it.What do you want!

Figure:I intend to destroy you.The search you sent me on caused me nothing but pain and grief.

The figure looked at Ash,Misty and Brock.

Ash:What?We've never seen you before!

Figure:I removed your memories of our meeting.Now I will restore them.

Ash,Misty and Brock seemed to look disorientated.

Ash:I remember.You're MewTwo.But I thought you had changed.You were good when you left.

MewTwo:Maybe so.But the search you encouraged me to go on caused me nothing but pain.First
Mew left to follow its own path,and then one by one my cloned Pokemon died away,leaving
me alone.

Misty:That's not our fault.You chose to do that.

MewTwo:SILENCE!I will now punish you for the pain you have caused me to suffer,

Me:Not if I can help it.

MewTwo:And who are you?

Me:I'm the guy who's gonna teach you a lesson.

MewTwo:And how will a pathetic human stop me?

Me:Who said I'm a human?

MewTwo:Wait,you're the one from that girls dreams.

Me:And why have you been going into Ryoko's dreams?

MewTwo:I was just accessing her dreams to gain information on where those 3 were.But now I'll
simply destroy all of you.

Me:Guys,stay back.This is personal.Nobody hurts Ryoko in any way and gets away with it.

I flew up towards MewTwo but it moved out of the way.I tried to blast it but MewTwo created
a black energy ball which punched through my blast and hit me back into the ground.

Me:Looks like I have to get serious.

I began to power up.My muscles bulged out and my hair moved upwards.My hair flashed yellow
and my eyed flashed green.The ground beneath me began to collapse into a crater and I was
engulfed in a flash of yellow energy.My hair and eyes had changed colour and I was ready to
fight.

Me:LET'S DO IT!

I flew at MewTwo but it was still too fast.No matter how hard I tried it always avoided my
attack.Although I managed to avoid most of them one of MewTwo's energy balls hit me throwing
me into the ground.

Goku:Let us help!

Me:NO!I can handle him.KA-ME-HA-ME

MewTwo:And what is this?Another pathetic attack?

Me:Guess again!HA!

I launched a huge energy blast at MewTwo and caught it by surprise.The blast hit dead on and
there was a blinding explosion and when it had faded MewTwo was gone.

Me:Good riddance.

MewTwo:And who are you talking to?

I turned around and MewTwo was stood holding Ryoko by the neck.

Me:LET HER GO!

MewTwo:One more step and I'll kill her.

Me:Let her go.She never hurt anyone and certainly not you.

MewTwo:Maybe not.But I'll still destroy all of you.

MewTwo squeezed his hand and Ryoko screamed in pain.I flew at them as fast as I could but I
was too late.I heard Ryoko's neck snap and MewTwo dropped her body to the ground.

Me:NOOOOOOOO!!!RYOKO!

I exploded in rage.The ground around me collapsed and was threw away in all directions.I
screamed in rage and couldn't think of anything other than killing MewTwo.The light faded
and I was different.My hair was much longer.It went all the way down my back and halfway down
my legs with sparks of energy coming from it.

Goku:He did it,He reached the next level.

Me:Now,I'm going to kill you.

I flew at MewTwo and grabbed it.I was much faster now and he couldn't even react.

Me:I'm going to slowly crush your neck like you did to Ryoko.I'm going to make sure you feel
as much pain as possible before you die.

I slowly crushed MewTwo's neck and he screamed in pain.

MewTwo:Please.Have mercy.

Me:Mercy?Did you have mercy on Ryoko?

I continued crushing and caused MewTwo to scream in more pain.Eventually he began coughing
up blood before his neck finally snapped and he was dead.I threw his body into the air and
blasted it,completely disintegrating it.I turned around and dropped to the floor,kneeling
over Ryoko's body.Her eyes were closed and she looked as frail and fragile as ever.I began to
cry uncontrollably as Gohan and Videl picked me up and took me to one side.I couldn't hear
a word they were saying,I was too upset.

Goku:Vegeta,can you use the crystal to bring her back?If it really is that powerful then it
must be able to help.

Vegeta:Maybe.He is a true warrior and shouldn't be forced to endure this.

Goku:Thank you Vegeta.Do your best.

Vegeta moved over to Ryoko and began concentrating.The crystal began glowing and so did Ryoko.
Her body floated up into the air and her eyes began to open.She woke up and was returned to
the ground.She looked around and saw me but I hadn't noticed her.She immediatly ran over to me
and threw her arms around me.I snapped my eyes open and saw she was alive.

Me:RYOKO!

I grabbed her and spun her around in the air.I kissed her and held her close to me never
wanting to let go.

Goku:Vegeta managed to use the crystal to bring her back.

Me:Thank you Vegeta.Thank you so much.

Vegeta:....

Me:I suppose that's the best I'll get from you.

I hugged Ryoko again and powered down.

Ryoko:So what happened to your hair anyway?

Me:I don't know.

Goku:I do.You've managed to reach the next level.You managed to power up to a Level 3 Super
Saiyan.

Me:It must have been the rage I felt when Ryoko died.I was so angry and all I could think
about was killing MewTwo and making him pay for what he had done.

Bulma:The crystal fragment.It's just a mile away from here.

We walked towards the crystal fragment and got to it after about 10 minutes.Vegeta picked it
up and prepared to put it with the other fragments.

Ash:Bye you guys.It was good knowing you.

Misty:Yeah.

Brock:Come back and see us if you can.

Vegeta put the crystal fragments together and we were pulled back into the blue energy tunnel.
We fell into the light again and thrown out of the tunnel and found ourselves in some kind
of city.It looked like home,tall buildings,cars,people.We were in an alleyway so no-one
noticed us.
