Gohan nodded and he looked at me seriously I could tell he knew I was up to something. "So you've got something planned?" He asked.

"Yeah. It involves Trunks an invention Bulma's going to make and the dragonballs of New Namek." I replied.

Gohan looked at me and he smiled. "You're going to bring everyone one back?"

"Well almost everyone. After Trunks destroys the androids. Lets just say I had a visit from a future version of him." I replied.

"Almost? What's that mean?" Gohan asked.

"When I die I can't come back due to being from another world. The message Alethea will give him will be to get a hold of Iris and Chhaya to bring me back this has to be through dimensions and magick not dragonballs." I explained.

Gohan nodded he looked at me. "The androids are going to kill us aren't they?"

I looked at Gohan and I simply nodded.

"Big time blastage." I replied.

Gohan looked down. "So I have no choice but to train Trunks then while you train Alethea." He remarked. I think he understood also that what I told him was to stay between us two.

***

It was a perfect blue-skied morning in South City - Well almost. The two androids were on the rampage on the down town area of South City. So me and Bulma were leaving via up town. Gohan had agreed to watch over Trunks and not fight the androids today. Trunks was right when he would go to the other time line and remark that the androids enjoy nothing but causing pain and chaos. That's what it was a beautiful day and it was nothing but chaos.

The arrival at Baba's was nerve wrecking as the flying car lowered down and I looked at the little cottage out in the woods. This woman was living like an old fashioned witch- a hermit witch. I guess in this world one had to be careful about announcing a religion. Witch craft was pretty much still out lawed. But I hadn't seen or heard of any trials. Strange how a civilisation so advanced was still so primitive in their beliefs.

I knocked on the door lightly. Bulma looked at me giving me a comforting smile.

"You look nervous Lee." Bulma said. "I'm sure Alethea will be glad to have her mother back." She added.

"Fourteen years though." I breathed. "No child deserves to go that long without parents." I added but I took in a deep breath as the door opened.

There she stood her long black hair streaked with blonde tied back in a pony tail in a braid and she wore a simple yellow tank top and a pair of denim blue three quarter shorts and black sandals She wore orange tinted glasses on her face covering up her eyes but even through the tint I could tell they were just like my grandfather's a bright crystal blue. She looked at me and blinked.

"Um can I help you two?" She asked.

Bulma nudged me in the ribs. I stumbled forward and stumbled through my words.

"Well I ah... um... Alethea I've come to see you."

Alethea nodded slowly. "Baba said you were coming."

"So you know who I am?" I asked.

"Yeah I do. They said you were dead but Baba told me you sent me to her for my safety. I'm glad you came." She smiled.

Alethea pulled a photo out of her pocket and she looked at it.

"Dad though-" She stopped and looked at me.

"He's watching over you. I know he is." I replied.

Alethea smiled. "So am I coming with you now?" She asked.

I nodded. "Yeah Bulma's going to take us to your father's place. We'll be staying there." I explained.

Alethea looked at Bulma. "So you were dad's first girlfriend?" She asked.

Bulma nodded. "Yes I've known your father a long time."

"Oh wow. Maybe you could tell me about him sometime ya know like before he met mom and stuff?" She asked.

Bulma smiled at Alethea. "Sure thing."

Baba came to the door and she handed Alethea a capsule case.

"Remember what I taught you girl." The old witch said.

Alethea nodded. "Of course."

"And if things get heated you can come back. I've still got a few things to teach you." Baba added. I think she'd seen my demise in that crystal ball of hers.

Alethea hugged the elderly witch. "Thanks for everything."

We arrived at Yamcha's place and I looked at the little house in the desert. I looked to Bulma as she pulled out a set of keys. She jingled them looking for the right one and took it off the key ring she handed it to me. "I'll let you two catch up." She smiled.

"Thanks Bulma. I'll promise I'll drop by." I said.

"You better or I'll send Gohan round here to drag you back to visit us."

I looked at Bulma she smiled at me. I think then I realised she knew Gohan was training Trunks to fight. I took the large box with Aradia and Maniac in it and put it on the doorstep.

"Well I don't think you'll have much problem in finding Gohan these days." I replied.

Bulma nodded. "I know. Those two are up to something. And if they think I don't notice. Then so be it. Then I'll turn round and go 'I told you so'."

I waved at Bulma as she smiled and drove off in her flying car.

I went up to the door and unlocked it. "I know what your father's like when it comes to houses. He may of been a successful baseball star but when it came to cleaning. He avoided it." I remarked. The door opened and I looked inside and frowned.

Alethea looked inside. "Damn. You're right."

The smell of must hit us and I looked at Alethea. "I wasn't expecting our quality time to start by cleaning up your father's mess."

I took a deep breath and walked inside. The main hallways was a mess. There was a phone hanging on the wall and I walked up to it and picked it up the line was beeping in that not working way so that meant I had to get it re-connected.

The pictures on the wall were something I'd never seen before various scenery shots. The hallway was filled up with boxes of home gym equipment. Alethea opened a box up and she pulled out a pair of blue weighted wrist bands. She slipped them on and I smiled at her. Already she had found something of Yamcha's.

I looked in to the box and I pulled out the orange gi with the symbol of King Ki on the left breast and turned it round to see Master Roshi's symbol on the back.

Alethea looked at the gi. "So dad was one of Earth's special forces?" She asked.

I nodded. "Yeah he was." I felt the sting of missing Yamcha suddenly.

Alethea picked up on it. "You still love dad don't you?" She asked.

"With all my heart." I replied.

"Well it's been fourteen years mom. I'm sure you'll find someone who'll help you love again." Alethea said.

"It hasn't been fourteen years to me. It's only been a couple of days." I replied.

I put the gi back in the box. Alethea looked at me suddenly excited. "Really you saw dad two days ago? Was he okay? Is he alive?"

I looked at her. "In my world I saw him, fourteen weeks there is fourteen years here. He was with me there helping fight the androids along with Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Tien, Chaoitsu even Krillen. It was part of King Yemma's save two plains of existence plan." I explained.

Alethea looked at me. "Oh wow. So that's why you haven't aged."

I packed up the boxes in to a pile in the corner of the hallway. "Yeah."

"Baba said that you and Gohan make a cute couple I saw in to her crystal ball this morning while you two were sleeping. That's how she knew you'd come."

I looked at Alethea. "Has Baba been teaching you any magick?" I asked.

Alethea nodded proudly. "Yeah she told me you were a powerful witch so she helped me control my abilities. I had a problem controlling my element at first but it's okay now. I can create these large balls of fire kinda like those energy blast things."

"Wow. Well tomorrow I think I'll train you personally in the art of magick and martial arts. But for now- we have to clean up your father's mess."

Alethea nodded looking round at the clutter just in the hallway.

***

That night after the big cleaning fest. I lay in bed wearing a baggy blue shirt and just some under briefs while Alethea lay in the other side of the bed wearing a pair of Opal pink boxers and a matching chamise top. She was a really pretty girl. We were still working on cleaning out a room for her. So for now we shared a bed until that would come. The noise of the cats burning up and down the now cleaned hallway kept me awake But not Alethea. I looked at her. To me it had been nine odd months since I'd held her as a baby. But looking at her she was a teenager and soon she would be heading out on the town and getting in to all sorts of trouble if she were in my home world. Here though. Everyone lived in fear and they hid alot.

I rolled over in the bed and looked at a figure standing in the doorway to the room I looked round confused seeing the orange gi I sat up and then the figure entered the room I looked up as he walked up to me.

"You busy?" The voice asked. I instantly recognised it as Gohan.

I shook my head and he offered me his hand. I took it and stood up slowly. The whole coming to me I the middle of the night usually I would find it ultimately scary but in this world I had learned to expect the unexpected.

Gohan looked over to Alethea and he smiled. "She's going to be a knock out when she's older." He remarked.

I looked at Gohan. "You hit on her and I'll punch you." I warned.

Gohan held both hands up in the air and he chuckled lightly. "Just being honest."

I slipped in to my black trousers and picked up a jacket off the ground Gohan took my hand again I looked at him confused.

"What's up?" I asked.

"I want to show you something. I know you don't want to fight the androids I can see it in you. But I want to show you why I do." Gohan explained.

"Will we be back before she wakes up?" I asked.

Gohan nodded. "I'll make sure of it." He then lead me outside.

I shut the door and Gohan levitated up off the ground I copied and we flew off.

***

The sky was pitch black dark I could only see Gohan by the glow of his ki as we flew I looked round hoping the androids weren't watching or picking up on our power levels as we flew. We flew for quite a while until Gohan stopped and I stopped and he pointed down. I looked down to see the familiar pink house sitting alone on the island. It was Master Roshi's home.

"Kame Island." I breathed. I looked to Gohan worriedly.

He flew down and landed on the Island I followed him. The door was wide open and Gohan took my hand and he lead me inside.

Gohan with his other hand flicked the switch and the light came on. The entire place was a mess everything was strewn about and there was so much clutter everywhere it wasn't safe to walk without stepping on something.

"If the androids can drive people who live out in the middle of nowhere to hide. That shows that we are living and hiding in fear. I'm sick of it Lee. I don't want to hide any more. But I can't do this alone. I want you back like when everyone else was still alive. Together I remember you said together we could possibly take these things on."

I looked round at the mess. It made me wonder if that's why Yamcha's place was messy was he in a hurry to leave to go to his other home. Had my warning of the androids cause him to pack up and 'think' about hiding?

With one kick Seventeen had broken his neck. I swallowed remembering pulling his lifeless body up in to my arms and I left the house quickly.

Gohan followed me and he grabbed my arm. "Lee Trunks looks up to me but I know even with him I can't do this. Please." He sounded just like he had when he was a kid.

I wiped my eyes trying to stop the memory of Krillen risking his life to get me and Gohan to safety. I remembered Tien shouting out as Chaotisu was killed.

"Gohan." I flopped to the ground defeated. "Alethea is all I have left I promised Yamcha I'd train her and that's what I'm going to do."

"Then train her with Trunks. Together the four of us-"

"No Gohan I'm sorry. Alethea can not meet Trunks until he comes back from the past the second time round. It's important." I remarked.

Gohan looked at me. "Lee."

"It's messing with history I can fight, but Alethea she is not to fight them." I said.

Gohan sat down next to me and he tilted my face towards his. "You're going to fight then?" He asked with such a serious tone to his voice.

"Yeah." I replied. I jabbed him in the chest. "Your always talking me in to doing what I don't want to." I added.

Gohan looked to the ocean. "I remember the last time we were here together. I talked you in to coming for a swim with me. Think I can do it again?" he asked.

I looked to the ocean. "It's night time and it's dark the water will be cold."

Gohan stood up and I watched him as he pulled the gi top off then the blue shirt. I looked at him the light from the Kame house shone on his perfectly animated flesh. he was bulging with muscles I hadn't seen on him last time and I blushed and looked down flustered. The gi pants hit the ground and he sat down next to me and pulled the boots off. He looked at me. My toes were digging through the sand.

"You're not dragging me in there it's cold out." I remarked.

"Then use your ki to warm yourself up." He replied.

I eyed him wearily. "I thought they could track ki." I retorted.

"Not this far out. this is in the middle of no where it's in the cities ya have to be careful of." Gohan remarked.

I frowned. "Why do I feel you're pulling my tail?" I asked.

He smiled at me with that typical Son smile and I flopped back in to he soft sand.

"Lee you don't have a tail any more." He teased.

I flung sand at him and he chuckled. "Don't make me hurt you okay? I promised Goku I'd watch over you." I remarked.

Gohan looked at me. "How was my dad doing when you saw him?"

I sat up. "Oh you know. He was with my dad and they were trying to have an eating competition." I sweatdropped at the memory of Christmas day.

Gohan stood up and he grabbed my arm and pulled me up. "One swim Lee."

I sighed. "Oh alright. But I'm not going in there in my jacket."

Gohan let go and I took my jacket off and took my trousers off I felt kind of embarrassed but that's all it took before Gohan picked me up and draped me over his shoulder like I was nothing and carried me out to the ocean. I let out a squeal as I was dropped in to the cold water.

When I stood up in the water I splashed Gohan immediately for that. He caught my hand in mid swish as I splashed and he looked at me. I could tell that he was stronger I could feel it. Fourteen years had made him stronger.

I looked at his hands holding my wrists and then I looked up at him.

"I don't think I'm strong enough to help you fight Gohan. I can feel your energy."

"I can feel your energy too."

It was then I felt the sudden familiarity of the situation the whole Goku and me scenario the battle that had triggered the affair we'd had. This feeling it was same except it was stronger it was odd like it was rushing through me. I prayed that nothing would come of this playing around but part of me knew what Trunks had said wasn't a lie. Then the way Gohan had looked at me when I'd arrived on King Kai's planet in the future. I saw that same look in his eyes. Bulma had been right Gohan had a crush on me and in fourteen years it looked like it hadn't diminished one bit. I looked down at his hands holding my wrists.

I looked up at his face unsure of what to say. I wanted to ask on this lady he had loved who had been killed. I decided I would- just not now that would probably make him remember stuff that he didn't want to remember.

I felt drawn to Gohan for some reason. Part of me was saying it was because Trunks had said so but another part said it wasn't. There was a big silence between us in the water. It was almost awkwardness. In my head I was trying to work out why Gohan would fall for some one as strange as me. Trunks said so himself.

So there we were our energies raised in the ocean the water lapping up against up gently. Gohan let go of my wrists in the silence and I looked down at my wrists usually some time by now I would of had a vision at the contact of another person but I didn't- I was worried by my lack of visions.

Gohan's hand brushed some of my wet hair from my face and he looked at me.

"Lee something's wrong I can tell." He said.

"For once I don't know truly what's going to happen. Usually I would of had some sort of vision by now warning me of something but it's been over a day since I arrived and nothing." I explained. "I haven't had a vision in fourteen weeks Gohan."

Gohan looked at me. "Well it's only you and me out here. So should there be one?"

I looked up at him. "I guess not." I replied.

His hand touched mine lightly and his other hand cupped my cheek. I felt that drawn sensation again- as our lips meet in an all consuming kiss. I tried to search my head for the reason of the kiss but there was nothing there and I felt it wasn't that saiyan lust thing that drove me nuts at times. It was deeper and more affectionate.

It was then I saw the vision.

Rays of light streaking from the sky pure energy- evil energy. I felt my body bruised and aching and I rolled over on to my stomach and I looked up at where it was coming from I could see two dots in the sky then I heard the scream. The pure anguish of pain behind the screams. It was Gohan I knew it. I powered up and took off towards them. Flashing instantly in to super saiyan I landed a powerful kick right in Eighteen's side and she spun round and hit the ground Seventeen stopped blasting and he looked at me. Eighteen stood up.

"She's alive. I don't believe this. Seventeen I thought you killed her." Eighteen growled at her brother.

I landed on the ground next to Gohan he was still alive- just. I rolled him over in my arms and looked at him. "Gohan you ask for my help then you deny it when it really matters. Why?" I asked him.

"I know you have the plans Lee. Do what you got to do. Shut them down." He breathed deeply I touched the side of his face his hair flickering from super saiyan to black. "Watch over Trunks please. He needs someone to keep him out of trouble."

I felt Seventeen grab me and yank me back from Gohan and he threw me aside. Him and Eighteen hoovered over Gohan. Gohan looked up at them.

"Do your worst." He remarked. "I've already warned you there is no end for me."

I placed my hand on my stomach I knew the truth behind that. There was no end.

Both of them fired out one last shot each and Gohan lay motionless.

Seventeen turned and he looked at me. "Your turn now."

I pulled the plans out from my back pocket and I waved them about.

"Catch me if you can." I then blasted off and I felt them follow me and I placed two fingers to my forehead and instant transmissioned out of there...

Gohan looked at me as I came out of the vision I realised I was lying on the beach.

"Lee you blacked out are you okay?" He asked.

I looked at Gohan. I hugged him suddenly the vision was for a few months from now I knew it. "Gohan please whatever you do don't take on the androids by yourself."

"So you want to help?" He asked.

"If it'll keep you alive defiantly!" I replied.

He ran a hand through my hair. "I'm not going anywhere Lee. I promise."

I felt his lips touch my eyelids in the gentlest of kisses as we fell back on to the sand. It was pure emotion coming from him. Bulma was so right about Gohan being so powerful and being so gentle at the same time. We tumbled round in the sand for a moment just playing round. His hand ran up the outside of my leg and up my side under shirt. I wanted to grab his hand and stop him. Part of me was still trying to be loyal to Yamcha. But truth had it to these people he'd been dead for fourteen years.

I felt Gohan's lips trail down my neck and felt the butterflies in the stomach suddenly as his hand drew a line from my navel upwards.

I placed a hand on his bare chest and pushed him back slightly.

"There's got to be a catch to this Gohan." I said.

He looked at me and blinked in most typical of Goku blinks.

"Catch?" He repeated.

"Yeah. Why the sudden interest in me. I thought you had your lady friend the one that died? Haven't you mourned her or anything?" I asked.

I needed time to adjust this was getting to strange for me. I was expected to see Gohan as a fully grown man in just fourteen weeks. Nah-uh too hard.

"Lee that lady friend was you. When you vanished it was like you died." he replied.

I sat up suddenly and I looked at Gohan. "Oh this is not healthy. On my sanity."

Gohan looked confused. "Is something wrong?"

"You and me... it's like bad mondo I'm like what suppose to be very old in this world and you are young- this is like adultery or something-" I began. "close-to-it."

"There's no catch Lee. You're still the same age as when you left and I'm a few months older than that now." He replied.

I rubbed my temples. I had to try and disinterest him. That way when it came to the vision I wouldn't be hurt as badly when he died and left me.

"I have a joke." I remarked.

Gohan looked at me. "And."

"You never know you might need it in the future." I remarked knowing if he was going to die he'd defiantly want to train on King Kai's like Goku had.

Gohan gave me a side long glance. "Uh-huh." He replied.

"Just listen to this one. The devil meets with a lawyer. He says the lawyer he can make him a senior partner all he has to do is give him his soul and the souls of all of his family and friends. The lawyer stares at the devil and asks 'So what's the catch?'"

I saw the sweatdrop on the side of Gohan's head and he looked at me.

"Lee." He shook is head at me.

Hopefully I discouraged him. I then saw something reflect off the light coming from Kame house out in the ocean.

"Gohan I see something out there." I remarked and pointed.

Gohan turned round as something rose from within the ocean and I edged behind him.

It was a submarine I realised as it surfaced. The top opened and Master Roshi came out of the top of the submarine.

"Gohan what are you doing out here on my Island?" He asked.

Gohan rubbed the back of his neck and I looked at Gohan.

"They're hiding in the ocean?" I blinked.

Gohan looked at me. "Yeah well earth is seventy-five percent water is it not?"

I scratched my head and shrugged. "I don't know I never took Geography."

Gohan sweatdroped again. "Geography is about the land Lee not the ocean."

"I knew that." I replied.

"Gohan who's that with you? You didn't bring a girlfriend out this far just so Chi-chi doesn't know did you?" Master Roshi asked.

I swallowed. "Your mom's still alive?" I asked.

Gohan looked at me. "Well yeah. Of course. She refuses to die until I get her some grandkids." He joked.

"Not with me you don't. I'm sorry but I know she still hates me."

Master Roshi looked at me. "Wait a minute I know that voice. But it can't be."

Puar stuck her head out of the submarine and her cat eyes picked up on me immediately. She floated over happily. "Leona! You're alive!"

I hugged her as she came up to me. "Hey Puar."

She floated there and she looked to Gohan then to me. I think Gohan went a shade of red as the look and she smiled at me. "Master Roshi it's Leona."

I frowned as he came out of his submarine and walked up to me looking at me up and down. I felt suddenly exposed standing there in a baggy shirt and underbriefs. Gohan seemed pretty comfortable in just his boxers.

"Look at the two of you like a couple of love birds. What are you crazy?! There's a couple of androids out there destroying the earth!!!" Oolong shouted at us from the submarine waving his pig like fists in the air.

"Well I think it's sweet." Turtle added.

I flopped back on the sand and covered my face embarrassed. At least Gohan would be disinterested now.

***

Once I was back at home I sat in the lounge reading a book my father had packed in to one of the capsules 'Violets are blue' by James Patterson. It was a homicide who-dun-it book. my favorite kinds. So I sat there waiting till Alethea woke up before I would do the motherly thing and take her out to get some breakfast. There was no food in the house well of course it hadn't been lived in for fourteen years so of course there wouldn't be. The book was extremely good I had trouble putting it down. Much like 'The General's Daughter' novel which I could read and re-read over and over again. My dad had also packed my 'Primary Colors' novel for me to read I'm not to hot on the political movies or books but I decided when I got time I would make an effort to read it- for my father's sake. That's one thing about me I don't consider myself to be overly smart but I like to sit down and have a good read whether it be someone's fan fic on the Internet or a novel that someone else orders in. But it's always the introduction that has to captivate me to continue reading it.

'Primary Colors' the novel didn't do that for me.

I had finished chapter thirty-one when Alethea finally got up and she looked at me and she looked at me. "Morning." She said sleepily.

"Morning I was thinking how about you get dressed and we'll go out for breakfast?"

"Mom you are aware there are two killer androids out there?" She asked me.

I nodded. "Well yeah but we have no food in this place and if we were to find some I'm afraid it would resemble more of a furry creature than a once eatable substance."

Alethea smiled at me. I could see Yamcha's smile in that brightened expression.

"Okay okay I get you. Give me twenty." She said and went off to get ready.

She was so happy for a person caught in a world of destruction. I hated to think what would happen to her if I lost her before she could live out her full potential.

I was just pulling my hair back in to pony tail as Alethea came out wearing a pair of baggy blue jeans and a crop top. I looked at the clothes they were mine. I looked at her and nodded. How I knew this well I don't think 'Levi's' on a crop top here is typical fashion as well as 'Just Jeans' jeans. She wore her hair out and I could she it hung down to her mid back and she wore her sunglasses on top of her head holding her hair back from her face like a head band she still had some fringe in her face.

I myself was wearing more tightly fit three quarter jeans my sandals and a powder blue three quarter sleeved v neck top. "I'm ready what about you?" Alethea asked me.

I nodded. "Yeah. Now question can you fly?"

She shook her head. "Well then that's the first lesson when we get back."

I walked up to her and placed a hand on her shoulder and she looked at me as I placed two fingers to my forehead and we vanished from the house.

***

We arrived in South City and Alethea looked round alot of people were just going about their daily business. Only a handful noticed our entrance really even then they weren't really worried. Everyone was afraid of the androids.

We entered a little sushi bar and Alethea showed her true side. Like Yamcha and saiyans combined she had a large appetite. But unlike either she had manners when it came to eating in public. Fourteen years old and she was so polite she seemed older beyond her years. I guess it was due to living in a world where it was survival of the fittest. I looked out the window as she ate. My mind drifting to the night just been- with Gohan and the beach. I looked down to my food and I picked up the chopsticks and started eating.

After the meal Alethea wanted to check out some stores and get some new outfits from the money she had. She had held off a summer job while school was in a break.

So we were walking through the stores. I was browsing at the back end of the shop when I saw Bulma come in with Trunks trailing his head lowered and his feet scuffling the ground. He looked like he'd been caught out. I knew it wasn't training with Gohan. But possibly something else.

I looked over to see Alethea look his way, Bulma spotted me and she waved.

"Lee! Hi what on earth are you doing here?" she asked.

I held up a shirt. "Um shopping." I replied and looked over to where Alethea had gone- the changing room luckily she hadn't decided to appear next to me.

"Oh I got a call from Master Roshi this morning something about you and Gohan out frolicking last night. Care to elaborate?" She asked.

I suddenly went a bright shade of red. "I... ah... um... heh" I rubbed the back of my neck and I saw Trunks looking at me curiously.

"Oh c'mon on Lee ever since you came to this planet Gohan's had eyes for you. Now he's older why don't you pursue him for a change?" She asked.

I blinked. "You want me to stalk Gohan?" I asked.

Trunks looked at us and raised an eyebrow but remanded silent.

"Well not stalk him. But you know, you two spend some time together catch up."

I frowned. "I don't know I only promised him I'd help him fight the androids that's why we were 'frolicking' as you put it. He wanted to show me that the androids have driven so much fear in to this world and he used Kame Island as an example. It was weird seeing Master Roshi living out of a submarine." I remarked.

Bulma looked at me worriedly suddenly. "Oh Lee you better be careful." She said.

I nodded. "Yeah well two super saiyans are better than one. Three or four would be so much more helpful but I'm afraid we're a rare species these days." I sighed.

I hung the shirt back up on the rack. I noticed Trunks was now paying attention to the conversation possibly because he didn't know I had achieved super saiyan.

"Well you took out Frieza and his father easy enough and alone." She commented.

"Correction. Vegeta killed King Cold. Strange how he had that much power before even becoming a super saiyan." I mused.

Bulma placed a hand on my shoulder. "Well one day when this is all over perhaps we can reminisce some more." She smiled.

"Oh Mrs briefs your catalogue has come in." A store clerk said walking up to her.

"It has brilliant." Bulma walked off with the clerk leaving me standing there with Trunks. He looked at me. I felt like I was suddenly being tested.

We hadn't really got to know each other well he hadn't got to know me-just yet. But a female half saiyan must of been a mystery to him.

"You knew my father?" He asked quietly.

I smiled and nodded. "Yeah sure did." I replied.

"Well I've asked both my mother and Gohan about him but they say the same thing. I don't suppose you could tell me about him?" He asked.

I sweatdropped suddenly. "Ummm... about Vegeta... so you already know he was arrogant, proud?" I asked.

Trunks nodded. "Yeah. Anything else?"

"Oh geez that's so tough I... er... well he loved a good challenge and he more than often let his ego get in the way of his better choice. But he was powerful extremely strong. More than me and he never let me forget it. He was so tough on the outside. But somewhere deep in him I know he cared for his family. I think I nearly reached it once. But then he shut me out. And I'm rambling. Plus on top of it from that I haven't really answered your question either. I wish I could. But this is Vegeta. He's a hard person to get to know." I replied.

Trunks nodded. "Well you said more than Gohan and my mother."

"Don't worry you'll see for yourself one day." I smiled.

Trunks blinked and he looked at me. "Huh?"

"Trunks!" Bulma called out.

"Coming mom!" He gave me one last look before going back to Bulma.
