After Alethea's little shopping spree. We arrived back home and after putting away the shopping and the grocery's so we didn't have to go in to town again any time to soon. I decided it would be time to begin to teach her how to fly.
The lessons I taught Alethea I taught her in the format of like the Yardratian's in how they taught me the whole focussing on the ki. I couldn't believe how fast she was learning. By the end of the month she was flying and able to fire ki blasts and she was working on her own personal moves. She was also learning how to control her magickal powers as well. She had learned the quick ability of pow wow healing magick along with what I call magick food. It's really nothing overly special just teaching her how to add certain spices to certain foods for all sorts of things. Magick food that gave courage, or something like friendship or prosperity.
Once Alethea had got used to learning to control her power level she insisted that I go and help Gohan in the battle against the androids. Trunks from the future had been right. Alethea was a big part in fighting the androids. I knew next was to teach her how to go super saiyan. But she insisted that I go help Gohan. And I did.

When I arrived at Capsule Corp. I found Gohan sitting in the lounge and I looked round there was no one there and I looked at him worriedly.
"Gohan?" I questioned.
He looked at me and he smiled. "Hi Lee."
"Um... hi." I looked round for any sign of Trunks or Bulma but they were no where to be seen. "Sooo where are they hiding?"
"Bulma's gone out of town something about picking up some more of the antidote for the virus. Apparently some people who they thought recovered didn't there's a new cure for it. She wanted me to stay here and wait till you came over to tell you. She thinks you might be one of those people." Gohan explained.
"And she took Trunks. I think she figured out you were training him and decided to take him with her so you couldn't for a while." I remarked.
Gohan stood up and he walked up to me. "Lee how far through are you with Alethea?" He asked.
"She's getting there she can fly, shoot ki blasts and she even knows a couple of moves, she creating her own techniques too. I've began mixing techniques too to create one to use against the androids. I hope I can use it." I said.
Gohan looked at me. "So why'd you come here I thought Bulma called you and said she was going away?" He asked.
I smiled. "Alethea sent me here to help you fight."
Gohan nodded and he looked out the window at Capsule Corp. "It's getting to dark to go chasing them up now. Tomorrow though."
"Then I'll call Alethea and let her know I'll be spending the night here." I said and walked to the phone. I saw Gohan look at me and he blinked.
"Huh?" He questioned.
"You've been here three days alone Gohan, you look like you need someone to talk to. Besides I want you to fill me in on the fourteen years I missed." I replied.
He nodded and smiled at me. "Um okay."
"And I can cook you up some of my special chicken." I added.
"I thought you couldn't cook?" Gohan asked me.
"I can cook chicken it doesn't take a genus." I replied and walked off to use the phone to call Alethea and let her know.

The television light flickered as I lay on the couch my head resting on Gohan's shoulder's a blanket pulled up over us, his arm was round me and I watched the movie. I glanced up at Gohan then back to the screen.
Onscreen Giovanni Ribski leant over Cate Blanchet and he helped her up, and towards her car, they placed the murderer in the boot of the car and the trunk was closed and locked in a typical Tarantino style- If it was a Tarantino movie.
They were then inside the car and words passed between their characters.
"Buddy I'm so sorry I wasn't there for you I should of -"
"Now don't you say another word, yous the only one that was a friend to me and I love you. You're the soul of this town Ms Wilson and you just need to keep what you're doing."
He pulled out a hankie and handed it to her, she looked at it. It was the hankie she had given him earlier on in the movie.
"Are your visions like hers?" Gohan asked me and he looked down at me.
"Pretty much." I replied.
"Think you could do me a reading after this movie?" Gohan asked.
I looked at him and I nodded. "Sure."
"The Gift" was nearly over it was such a good movie I was glad for it being sent to me via worlds. I owed Iris and Chhaya that much. They knew a good movie to send to me. It was always with these movies on visions and having powers, I admit mine are never as strong as theirs but then again most of the time it was suppressed because of the saiyan nature in me. Unlike Bardock's visions. His visions grew stronger and stronger closer to his demise. Maybe mine would to.
It was nearing midnight now, we had talked and eaten after I called Alethea, she didn't mind being left alone. She understood. I guess one night to add to fourteen years alone isn't much.
When the credits of the movie rolled up I looked at Gohan. He looked down at me. "Ever had anything like that? The forced visions?" He asked.
I shook my head. "Nope." I replied.
I looked at Gohan. He seemed overly interested in my supernatural powers. I looked down at my lap. Trunks had said about me and Gohan. But he said about my humour had drawn Gohan- not my powers.
I watched as Gohan's hand grabbed mine almost comforting me.
"I know you've seen bad things of this world's future. Just tell me will it ever be over?" He asked.
"The androids will be defeated but by neither you or me." I replied.
Gohan smiled. "Trunks." He said.
I nodded. "Yeah- he's something he reaches a level of super saiyan that we haven't even thought of yet." I replied.
Gohan looked at me and he blinked. "Trunks? higher than a super saiyan? Wow."
I looked up at Gohan and smiled. "In the other world it's you though." I said.
"Other world?" Gohan looked confused.
"I've seen in to an alternative time line. I don't know why or how, but it's a world where Goku lived thanks to Trunks." I explained.
"This is that other world you mentioned before isn't it?" Gohan asked.
I nodded. "Yeah."
"A world where my dad lived." Gohan sighed. "I wish he was here now, then none of this would of happened." he added.
I looked at Gohan. "I wish he was too Gohan but we can't do anything about it now. All we can do is keep surviving." I replied I let out a yawn and Gohan let me rest my head on his lap as I watched the screen play out a late night horror movie.
I felt Gohan's hand brush the hair away from the side of my face. I looked up at him and he smiled down at me. I looked back to the television screen.
"Well it's just you and me for now fighting. I don't want Trunks getting involved yet. He's not strong enough." Gohan remarked.
"It's the same with Alethea, though she can handle herself pretty well. I'd hate the thought of loosing her." I said as Gohan's hand ran down my arm.
"So what's it's like coming back to find years have passed?" Gohan asked.
I looked from the television screen to him. "It's so odd. You're so much more older and it feels odd. I feel like I've hurt you leaving you alone all these years to fight the androids by yourself." I replied.
"Don't blame yourself. If you hadn't of left you'd either be dead or you'd be getting old." Gohan remarked the last remarked with a teasing smirk.
I hit him on the arm playfully and he chuckled.
"It's nice to see you lighten up." I smiled at him. Gohan then scooped me up and I let out a cry as he put me over his shoulder. "Gohan!" I cried out startled.
He then spun me round on his shoulder and I couldn't help but laugh as I got dizzy. He wasn't as stiff as I thought he should of been. Not at all like Trunks would appear to be when going to the past. That made me realise how much like Goku Gohan was, when in battle he took a seriousness, but in life he seemed to enjoy it. Much like Goku always had. I guess it's a live life to the fullest thing.
Gohan put me down on the ground and I leant on him till my head stopped spinning. He looked at me and smiled. "How about we head out for the night I know of this place where we can just hang?" He asked.
"It's not on Kame Island again is it. The last thing I need is to know somewhere out in that ocean Master Roshi and Oolong are hiding with their periscope." I replied.
Gohan looked at me and he chuckled. "No not Kame Island, it's this bar not far from here, sure it's been knocked underground. But it's good."
I looked at Gohan. Since when had he explored bars? I had no idea but he was a few months my senior in age no compared to my previous thirteen years. So when ya get on in age I guess you tend to end up hanging in bars hoping that perfect someone would show up.
***
The arrival outside the bar I looked at the pile of rubble and then at Gohan. I was somehow reminded of this episode of Transformers, where the female autobots had their base hidden underground. In this case it was a bar. Gohan walked up to the rubble and he tapped on a rock suddenly a string of light came from the rock as it was pulled back and we were greeted by a pair of eyes.
"Hey Gohan, you've come back."
"Yeah I brought a friend with me. This is Lee."
The eyes scanned me over and I suddenly felt really subconscious of what I was wearing a baggy purple maroon three quarter sleeved shirt and a pair of casual black jeans. The rock slid back in to place then suddenly the entire pile of rubble lifted up and revealed a hole in the ground with a ladder attached it looked more like an entrance to a sewer than to a bar. I swear if back in my birth world this had happened I think it would of been classed as a seedy joint. But in this world, this probably would of been classed as one of the most popular places to be. And somehow Gohan had got mixed up in the center of it.
Climbing down the ladder we walked down a short stretch of rat infested sewer which I found highly disgusting til we came to a specially marked door and Gohan knocked on it a number of times and the door was opened we entered the club and I looked round. The place almost reminded me as the set out for a biker bar without the bikers, the pool tables in the center of the room and off to the side a pretty large dance floor a spot for a band- which was non exist, and off to the side a juke box and on the opposite side of the room the bar itself and I looked at the man behind the bar. He was fairly ordinary looking but he had that surfer appeal, the long blonde hair half of it tied up in to a pony tail. Sitting at the bar was a girl also with short cropped blonde hair, her hair style reminded me of a pixie kind of, and next to her another girl, she had shoulder length black hair tied back at the nap of her neck and she looked over as we entered. I felt like she was suddenly glaring directly at me for even standing next to Gohan. It was then I realised that this was the Videl of Trunks' world and the other two blondes were Sharper and Eraser. These were Gohan's friends.
"Hey welcome back Gohan man. I see you brought someone with you- So is she single?" Sharpener grinned. Talk about blunt.
I looked at Gohan. "Riiiiight. She has a name and yes she is single but she is trying to raise a daughter who's father was killed by the androids." I replied. Reow- what can I say my defenses were up in a place like this. Usually I would of turned round and walked right out of there again. But there was no way there would be another bar close by.
"Whoa easy Lee." Gohan remarked. "Sharpener this is Lee, she's agree to help in the fight against the androids." He added.
Suddenly everyone seemed to welcome me more. It must of also been a base of operations or something. Trunks obviously never found out about it because like me he was half saiyan and it seemed as saiyan we were starting to stick together. I had already had an invite to join Trunks and Gohan in a training session on the beach in a few days. I may of been welcomed more but Videl was still weary of me.
"So Lee is it?" Sharpener asked. "What'd ya drink?"
I looked at him and smirked, "Usually vodka and orange, but being as this place seems to be lacking in the smirnoff I'll just go for the orange."
Sharpener grinned. "Intriguing I like that."
Eraser threw a piece of paper at Sharpener and she looked at me. "Don't mind him."
"So is Lee short for something?" Videl asked.
"Leona." I replied.
Videl blinked and she looked at Gohan. "She doesn't look thirty-eight Gohan."
I looked at Gohan. "I've been mentioned before by you I see."
Gohan went a shade of red on the cheeks. "Uh in highschool I um happened to mention you a couple of times." he replied.
Videl rolled her eyes. "Oh only a couple, so you were the one who hooked up with that baseball player. So are you saiyan too?" She asked.
I nodded. "Um half like Gohan, my father was a member of the elite forces, he was um driven from the planet by Gohan's grandfather's vision, he took with him a handful of saiyans and they arrived on earth." I replied.
Gohan looked at me. "You never said anything about that."
"Pointless really being as I didn't know until a few weeks ago when I was practically dying from the heart virus and he thought I was going to die." I remarked.
How I knew was beyond me but while unconscious from the virus I had felt my father telling me about the saiyans in hope that I would survive, but also for the very opposite in case I didn't. So I knew where I came from.
"She seems pretty um... uptight Gohan." Eraser remarked.
Gohan looked at me. "Well I guess we all are when danger is involved."
"So it was these guys who convinced you to use your powers to fight the androids?" I asked him. Gohan looked to his friends then back to me and he nodded.
'How on earth had Chi-chi managed to send him to school while the androids were destroying towns and the future looked non existent?' I thought to myself.
"How'd you know?" Gohan asked me.
I looked at him and shrugged. "I don't know I guessed." I replied.
"So does she see the end of the androids anytime too soon?" Videl asked.
I looked at Gohan. "Just a couple of times huh?"
Gohan looked at me. "I... uh... um... yeah a couple." He replied.
I looked to Videl. "Yes but no one here's going to do it."
"So they'll be defeated?" Eraser asked.
"Yup, by Trunks." I replied. "I never had any visions of you peoples so um either by the time this comes around we're dead or what I don't know." I remarked.
"Trunks? This is that kid you've been training isn't it blowing off the last couple of meetings for training with him. Are you saiyans truly that strong?" Sharpener asked.
"Not strong enough." I replied. "Gero was a genus when creating them, his tracking devise on Goku calculated how strong Goku would become and then added them with that much more power so Goku could be defeated only to um have him die by the virus, talk about wasting time with revenge plans." I added.
Videl looked at Gohan. "So I take it she's a technical genus?"
"Hardly." I replied. "I just know that Gero built the androids with a safe guard incase he would have to turn them off again. In return they destroyed the remote but with the plans perhaps Bulma could make heads or tails of the plans and take it from there."
"Informed isn't she?" Eraser asked resting an elbow on the bar.
"Hmph." Videl remarked and turned her back on me.
So much for the theory on me and Gohan, I didn't want to disrupt time any more, maybe there was still a chance of Pan's birth another saiyan would probably give this world more hope.
"I don't think I should be here." I said softly and Gohan looked at me.
"You have every right." he replied.
"Maybe but your girlfriend over there doesn't seem to like me." I remarked.
Gohan looked at Videl. "She's just a friend." He corrected.
"I think it's more than that. Look you just do your thing I'm going to go. I'll see you a few days." I went to walk out and Gohan looked at me.
"Stay Lee, it's not often I ask for much company, but tonight- besides you already called Alethea and told her you weren't coming back tonight."
"Hey who said I was going home. I could of flown out to Master Roshi's or in to the city maybe have a look through Yamcha's old apartment- if it's still standing."
Gohan sighed. "Lee Yamcha's dead, the whole gang are gone, it's you me, and Trunks left from them."
"Perhaps but you don't know how much possibly a child of you and Videl could have. Seriously I sense alot of strength coming from that union." I said softly.
"Hey Leona if you don't want to go home tonight there's always a series of rooms through that hallway you can crash here. Gohan does." Sharpener remarked.
I nodded. "I might do that." I looked to Gohan. "Think about it." I said before leaving him in the room with his friends.
I found a room far off from the others and I sat down on the bed, this place must of been a hotel at some stage because of the layout of the room and the adjoining onsuite bathroom. I looked at the painting on the wall it was that blue shaped person. one of Matisse's pieces of artwork, probably my favorite for the pure fact it signified (to me) life made simple- if only it was that easy.
I flopped back on the bed and wondered if I could class that little scuffle between me and Gohan as one of the arguments Trunks would come to know about and in his future tell me about. I felt bad pushing Gohan away like that. But what could I do, I was going to lose him shortly anyway, so no point in getting involved.
'Trunks why'd you have to mention me and Gohan?' I thought tiredly.
I got in to the bed and rolled over on to my side my back to the door. I decided I had better sleep hopefully I'd be in a more tolerable mood in the morning.
***
I was woken up in the middle of the night by a presence in the room I was staying and I sat up and looked round. I couldn't see anyone but I could sense someone so strongly it was as if there was a person actually there.
"Hello?" I said quietly.
"Sorry I didn't mean to wake you." I heard a reply come.
I turned the light on. Sitting there on a stool in the corner of the room was who I thought to be Goku. I could see his halo clearly and I blinked and looked at him. I lowered my voice softer.
"Goku? What one earth are you doing here? Does King Yemma know you're here?" I almost scolded him. But it was then I realised the scar on his cheek and I knew he wasn't Goku. The part of the saiyan bond I had with Goku didn't recognise him as Goku. I knew then it was Bardock.
Bardock smiled at me suddenly blushing realising I had mistaken him.
'Oh geez how could I be so stupid to mistake the two of them.' I thought.
"It's okay." He said out loud and I looked at him and scolded myself.
'Becareful what you think round him, remember he can read minds too.' I told myself mentally. I looked at Bardock thoroughly embarrassed now.
Bardock smirked almost amused by my thoughts. "I know everything about you Leona, I've been inside your head and out again by the time you had that thought."
"Oh." I said softly. "And you haven't been driven to madness yet?" I asked teasingly. "It's a madhouse in my head you know." I added.
"I know you have visions. I know you've been having them since you were twelve. I know like me you've seen your end. I've come to warn you. With your end. Your father and possibly your daughter may loose their lives. To another android." He said.
"Cell." I said softly.
Bardock nodded. "It is very important you train and train hard learn new techniques, go beyond a super saiyan." He said.
I blinked and looked at Bardock. "Beyond a super saiyan? But that's not for me. That's for Trunks to do."
"Trunks can't save Alethea from death by Cell when he's still in the past."
I looked at Bardock. "I would of seen it. I would of seen that."
"Not until it's too late you wouldn't of. I've seen other things too. This place will be destroyed shortly. I've seen it. The androids attack above and the ground collapses. You have to get these people out of here. Otherwise more innocent lives will be lost."
I pulled the blanket up and looked at Bardock. 'Why had he seen this instead of me?'
Bardock looked at me. "You will soon enough, the change from realities has slowed your visions down, the only way you're going to get them now is with physical contact to those involved." He explained.
'Like Phobee from Charmed. Great now if I want to save people I'm going have to look for them first.' I thought sarcastically.
I saw Bardock smile. "Stop reading my thoughts." I scolded him.
"Don't think so loud then." He said back.
I looked at him and blinked. 'Gods he has been in my head and out again!' I realised. 'That was Chhaya's saying.'
"Your friends will be okay. When Cell is defeated. Trunks makes sure he won't cross over." Bardock explained.
I got out of the bed and wrapped the blanket round me and I paced the room. "How can I get the right amount of training in when I have to train Alethea too?"
"You know where to go take Alethea with you." Bardock replied.
I nodded slowly and Bardock smiled. "I better go you'll be having company shortly."
He seemed to fade out like a ghost and I stood there staring at where Bardock had been when the door opened and I looked over at Gohan in the doorway.
'Oh he's good.' I thought about Bardock's psychic powers.
Gohan looked at me. "I heard you talking to somebody Lee. Are you okay?"
I looked down. "Could be better." I sighed. "Psychic peoples informing me my visions are going to be limited now. Which really puts a cramp on my predictions for a change." I added.
Gohan shut the door and he walked up to me. "You knew about Pan? How?"
"Pan? She's been born already?"
Gohan nodded. "Well yeah I was told only five minutes ago by Videl."
"So she is your girlfriend." I remarked.
Gohan blushed a little. "Well it wasn't an ongoing thing- it just kind of happened."
I looked at Gohan. "Well congrats for you man."
"But Lee let me explain-"
"Gohan I'm not your girlfriend. Remember there is at least thirteen years difference between us. I couldn't ever let myself feel anything for anyone again. Not when I know what's going to happen to you. To me." I interrupted turning away from Gohan I walked back to the bed.
"You've seen me die haven't you?" He asked. "When?"
"Don't make me tell you Gohan." I replied. "but you know as well as I do someone stronger always comes along. That someone is Trunks. Focus on training him. Let me do what I have to do." I said.
The look on Gohan's face was one of pure concern but I couldn't stop him from being concerned and I couldn't stop him from feeling that saiyan attraction towards me.
"Don't go after the plans Lee. Who knows those androids could still be living out of Dr. Gero's lab you could get killed."
"I'm not going after the plans- least not yet. I'm going to train Alethea. Something bigger than those two is coming and then something even bigger than that. I want her to live through it. Because Trunks won't be around to protect her." I wrapped the blanket tighter round myself and I sat on the bed and looked up at Gohan. He stood there looking at me. He looked concerned.
"I wish I could see what you saw Lee so I know how you feel but I don't and I'm sorry about that." He said softly.
"I need to be on my own Gohan. Go be with your family, you have a beautiful daughter who will possibly be this world's strongest fighter." I said.
Gohan went to reach for me to comfort him but I pulled away.
"Don't touch me!" I exclaimed frightened if I was Phoebe then my visions would come to me when ever I touched someone or they touched me.
Gohan let out a sigh and he turned round and walked out shutting the door behind him. I flopped back on the bed and pulled the blanket over my head.
"No more." I whispered. "I'm not going to be hurt anymore."
***
I woke up early the following morning and I ran a brush through my hair and walked out to the main part of the bar and I saw it was almost empty. Videl was sitting in a booth with a baby in her arms and she looked up at me as I entered the room.
"Morning." I said.
Videl didn't say anything back. I could understand that she felt threatened by me. After all Bulma had told me about Gohan's crush when he was still young, it obviously hadn't dwindled. Even with the birth of his daughter. I felt bad all the way through my entire being.
"You obviously don't like me and I just want you to know that I'm going to train my daughter so I'll leave you and Gohan to sort yourselves out." I said.
Videl looked up at me. "You know for a while I thought he actually loved me." She bounced Pan in her arms and I looked at the baby girl.
"He does, you were there for him when I couldn't be. I had promised his father I would watch over him and I couldn't even keep that promise." I went to walk towards the door. and I heard Videl stand up and I looked over my shoulder at her.
"I'm sorry I was mean it's just when he entered with you and I hadn't seen him in four months, I thought-" She stopped.
"I was with him. I've only briefly trained with him, let him convince me to become a part of this battle of survival. I like my idea better but oh well. He's just like his father in that regards." I put my hand on the doorhandle and I turned it.
"Should I tell Gohan you've gone?" She asked.
"Yeah. Tell him I've gone to be with my daughter." I left the place and shut the door behind me and I let out a sigh and I found my way back up to the surface.
I looked round the waste land that had once been a major city and I rubbed my arms and I walked through the rubble just in case the androids were near by. I couldn't let them sense me last thing I needed to do was die before I had followed Bardock's instructions.
The change from realities has slowed your visions down, the only way you're going to get them now is with physical contact to those involved...
So did that mean I could never let myself be touched again for the fear of seeing their end? I hated that. I had panicked the night before when Gohan went to comfort me. I had yelled at him not to touch me. He must of been so confused. But then again I was the one who was confused with this new change in gaining premonitions.
I kept seeing Gohan's arms reach for me and I pushed the image from my head. I had lied to Videl. I felt bad. That one night on Kame Island sure nothing major had happened. But that's where I had had that vision of Gohan's end. I felt suddenly cold.
Something felt wrong yet I could sense nothing near by but that's when I saw the streak across the sky. My sight zoomed in on the figure and I quickly ducked out of sight, hopping like anything that I wasn't seen.
But then the figure landed and I saw the two brown boots land right near where I was hiding. Android Eighteen looked round and she flicked her hair over her shoulder.
"Look I know you're here. No use in hiding." she remarked. "Girl to girl we haven't had a real battle yet. Or are you too worried that Seventeen has reached your daughter?" She added.
I swallowed and I stayed put. 'Alethea.' I knew I had sensed something wrong and I locked on to her power level and I felt it. She was still alive.
I jumped out of my hiding lace and I ran as fast as I could. I had to get away from Eighteen to somewhere where I could use the instant transmission to reach Alethea. If I powered up near Eighteen. I'd be as good as dead.
"Ah-ha! I knew you were here!" She exclaimed and I jumped out of the way as the blasts hit where my feet had just been and I ducked down behind some rubble. I felt the ground shake a little then I realised it was collapsing.
'Bardock you were right. Damnit I didn't even warn them!' I thought.
I placed two fingers to my forehead and Eighteen phased in front of me. I quickly locked on to Alethea's power level and I instant transmissioned right out of there.
