Three: Unwanted Memories

The saiyan female finished her business and left the tavern in search of Vegeta. She was going to have him, just the way she wanted him to be. She twirled the tiny vile around in her slender fingers eyeing it intently. he hoped it really wouldn't come down to it, so it was just there if all else failed. She really didn't want to hurt him, but if the situation came to that then she was ready. He would drink the vile, and the serum would enter his mind and his body wiping away any memory since being on earth...including his relationship with the human woman and those half-breed brats of his. It would be as though he never met them, and she would make her move. She would have her way with him, and Prince Vegeta would be hers.

Vegeta was dressed and ready to go meet Goku for another one of their usual spars. Bulma and Trunks of course were working, and as for Bra...she was home grounded for staying out too late on a school night. Although Bulma and Trunks worked in the offices on the top floor, she was basically home alone, considering Rai-en shouldn't be back for a few days.

On his way out Vegeta had sensed a faint ki not too far away. He oculdn't come to think who it was just yet, so he continued towards Goku's place. When he halfway there he was stopped in mid air by the one who's ki he had picked up on earlier. A woman; a strange woman who seemed to be quite interested in him. Her long crimson locks fell over seemingly strong shoulders stopping just below her fingertips. he could admit she was quite beautiful. A wicked grin played over her ruby colored lips making her seem that much more enticing. She wore an outfit that didn't leave much to the imagination; a tight fitting red top that matched her hair perfectly with straps as thin as thread, and an equally tight and matching color pair of shorts as they looked, they laced up along the sides of her legs, yet they were no longer than mid-thigh; both articles of what little clothing they were hugged her curves perfectly.
He studied her for a moment, looking her over carefully, trying to put a name to her rather familar face. She lifted her head to look at him now, and something startled him. Her eyes were as black as night, endless onyx orbs, like his own. Something else caught his attention, as she let loose from around her waist, what seemed to be a saiyan tail. "Hello my prince. It's been too long."
Although he tried not to show it, he was concerned now. At first he didn't understand why a female such as herself would worry him; a saiyan female at that. How did she recognize him anyway. He studied her over a little more, as she became more familar to him with each sweep of his gaze across her. Then he knew...she was the woman from his dream, the whole reason he and Bulma had their fight.
Now he understood what worried him; it was what she was planning to do to him. "What do you want?" He growled at her and tried to sound like he had the situation under control.
She spoke in almost a pur, "It's not what I want . . . it's who." She ran her tongue along her sharp canines and gazed at him.
He folded his powerful arms across his chest and turned his back to the red-head. "Foolish onna...wipe whatever thought of it from your mind because its not going to happen."
She let out a sinful little laugh before she spoke. "Oh you are mistaken my dear prince. Tell me...how does your human think of you now...after all that?"
He whirled around to face her now, not wanting to admit it but he was shocked. "What?! How the hell do you know what goes on between me and her?"
She gave him a mailcious grin and acted so innocent. "How could I not know. After all . . . I'm the one who's repsonsible for it all."
Now he was angry, she had been behind the argument between him and his mate. How dare she stir things up in hsi life. He's never argued with Bulma like that...least not for a long time, but he had done it and it was pretty bad. He was both glad and lucky it wasn't physical, but words can be just as bad. And it was all that scarlet haired witch of a saiyan's fault.
He growled low, deep in his throat. "You . . . you did that. One thing you should know . . . don't fuck with me!" He flew at her in a flash, threw a fierce punch to her jaw and before she could recover, grabbed her in a neckhold. He breathed in her ear. "I normally couldn't bring myself to hurt a woman . . ."
They spoke in almost perfect unison, save she referred to herself. " . . . but you're [i'm] no ordinary woman." She pulled his powerful arm from around her neck, twisted it behind him and with her free arm, took hold of his.
He couldn't believe she had him like this, her strength matched his own. She eased up on him and released him, hooking her arm through his, placing her hand on his chest. She rested her head on his shoulder and spoke again in that whispery voice right in his ear. "I love when you play hard to get Vegeta." Her hand moved from his chest, down to his back gently running her fingers down his spine all the way to his tail. Gripping rather tightly, she brushed back the soft brown fur at the base of it. This sent a chill down his back and caused him to completely tense up, not moving a muscle.
Usually that felt good, but she was stronger than his human mate so when she did it...it almost hurt. "Onna let go of my tail and remove your hands from me."
She ignored his requests and began to run the length of his body now, pausing on his inner thigh. She laughed girlishly and then ran her tongue skillfully along the dip between his chin and his neck. He was getting irritated, trying to shake her off but she still held fast to him. Now she began to slowly pull his sirt over her head, and tossed it aside. She flashed him a wicked grin before saying one last thing to him. "I really didn't want to hurt you . . . " She dug her perfectly manicured nails into the prince's bare back, sending a wave of pain through his body. He threw his head back and let out a roaring yell.
She continued. "but you left me no other options my dear prince." She had dug her nails so deep she drew blood. The red of his blood matched the crimson of her hair and clothes perfectly. She skillfully licked up a drop or two and grinned. "Mmm, raw power. Your sweet, like sugar."
Vegeta didn't now what was happening to him, what she had done. He shouldn't have been feeling dizzy or lightheaded from that...he had been on worse situations and yet here he was wanting to collapse. He shook his head vigorously trying to lose the feeling, without much luck.

She backed away from him and observed. He didn't say another word as he remained perfectly still in mid-air for about a minute, until he needed to get back on solid ground. He slowly made his descent to the ground, not noticing she waited until he was about halfway down before following.
As soon as he landed he casually walked over to the rocks; this was the area where most of their battles or spars took place. He rested against them for a bit, regaining his strength or as much as he could muster.
The woman sauntered up to him and immediately he glared at her with a scowl. "Why Prince Vegeta . . . you act as though you don't even know me. You couldn't forget me could you?"
He sneered, "Try me!" To her that was an invite. She took a step back and very lady-like, executed a perfect bow before him. Her scarlet locks fell all around her as she peered up at him with a grin, her onyx gaze burning a lasting image in his mind. Yet it was at that exact moment he recalled a faint memory, of his childhood back on Vejitasei.
His father walked up to him with a proud grin. "Son, I'd like you to meet someone." The king nodded to a tall figure standing in the entrance to the king's quarters. A burly looking man stepped from the shadows of the doorway and into the light. By his side stood a child; a little girl about the prince's age; she smiled sweetly at him.
The king continued. "Vegeta, this is Turek, " The man bowed, "and this is his daughter, Samara." The girl executed a curtsey-like bow before the young prince. "I'm pleased to meet you Prince Vegeta." Her mid-length scarlet red-locks fell over her as she peered up at him with a grin.flashback*]
Vegeta snapped out of his trance and stepped back, backed up against the rocks with nowhere to turn. Startled he stammered, "Samara?!"
She winked at him playfully. "You catch on quick I see." There was a mischevious in her dark eyes, her smile formed into a malicious grin. "How could you forget me. After all, if that Frieza guy hadn't messed things up so much then I could still have had the honor of being your rightful mate...rather than that weak little human onna you have taken a fancy too."
He snapped at her. "Bitch! Watch your tongue! If my memory serves me right, my father did have an agreement with yours about that. Simply because you and I were supposedly evenly skilled and you had often caugh the eye of my father. You stood out among the rest...quite the fighter for your age."
Her grin only grew that much more dark with her next statement. "Your memory is very sharp . . . yet it won't serve you any real purpose once i'm through with you."
Now he was irritated. "What?! What the hell is that supposed to mean onna? I don't think you're in the position to be threatening me."
She corrected him. "I'm afraid your mistaken. I'm every bit right." She phased out and reappeared behind him, with a jump she nailed him with a perfect back kick, hurling him forward into theother rock wall. She sighed. "I didn't want to hurt you, but oh well." She flew off with a laugh towards her next destination; Capsue Corp. with a plan in store for his "family".

After a good few minutes of lying in the rubble, Vegeta wearily got up and shool off the feeling of drowsiness. He used what energy he had left to fly off towards Goku's, his original destination. He glanced below at the land, there werent many buildings down this part of town. On his way he spotted a more desolate area, a lake with nothing else around save the tavern secluded by most of the forestry. He stopped for a moment to gaze at it, the tempting urge to jump right in and cool off rising. Well he had kept Goku waiting so far, what could a few more minutes hurt, he needed to get cleaned up anyway; he'd be damned if he went there previously injured.
Slowly he landed down beside the blue-green pool, taking to the dirt patht hat followed to the tavern front. Surveying the area, he made sure there were no signs of that scarlet haired vixen before he decided to relax. Noting about this place seemed unsual or dangerous in any way, as he easily pushed the large wooden door right open. Inside was even more comforting than out, with the soft lighting and surprisingly hushed buzz of conversations.studied the room carefully taking note of his surroundings. It gave a kind of 'right at home' feeling, seeing how no one bothered to look up at him from what they were doing. He also noticed those select few who did glance at him for a second, didn't seem to care he wasn't human or at least the fact he had a tail.
Although as he analyzed the other inhabitants of the inn more closely, he noticed half of them weren't exactly ordinary themselves. No wonder he felt so comfortable the minute he walked in. Without a further thought he he shut the door behind him and proceeded to the bar. He was still slightly wet, but he carried a change in clothes anyway.
The bartendress glanced up acknowledging him. "Can I get you something? A towel maybe?" She continued drying the glass she held in her hands as she spoke to him.
He shook his head simply. "Just a room." The young woman nodded and threw him a set of keys to one of the rooms upstairs and directed him to the staircase. He manuevered his way through tables across the hardwood floor to the short staircase and continued up.
Trudging down the hallway he passed up three doors before he stopped and stood before the next door just beyond the bathroom. For some odd reason he went no futher and focused his gaze upon this very door. He seemed drawn to something, something possibly inside the room itself. Vegeta put his steady hand on the doorknob and slowly turned it until the door just creaked open unaided. As soon as he stepped inside he was immediately surrounded by a scarlet hue; from the curtains on the window, to the paint on the walls, and the sheets on the king size bed in the center of the room. Vegeta seemed a little puzzled, but shrugged it off and proceeded to change out of hs training clothes into something dry.
Glancing at the bed once more, it was almost tempting and very inviting. He thought to himself. /A short rest could do me some good, seeing how I didn't get much sleep for the past two nights. Just a quick rest...theat baka is probably still waiting anyway./ He closed the curtains and planted himself down on the really comfortable bed.
