Gohan couldn't believe who he was seeing as he and Mirai stopped in front of each other and so far did nothing but stare, each one taking in the differences in the other and mentally drooling at the sight. Gohan noticed how Mirai had let his hair grow out and inwardly smirked. He couldn't help but think that maybe he'd grown it out for him.

"Uh...hi." Was all Mirai could say, dumbly.

"Hi." Gohan said back in an equally dead and stupid sounding voice. His eyes travelled downwards only slightly before landing on his pink lips that just looked oh so kissable. He couldn't help but lightly lick his own lips in both want and remembrance of the kiss he'd given to him all those years ago. He wanted to do it again, but the fear of scaring him off again was just too much. Not to mention the fact that Videl was in the room and she wouldn't appreciate that too much. He may not want to be married to her but he was still a married man. He made a mental note to fix that when he had the time.

"So you got married, huh?" Mirai said with a light smile that was meant to portray happiness for Gohan, but he saw right through it and inwardly cringed. "Yes, I did." He said shamefully. He knew that Mirai must've been hurt when he found that out from whoever had told him. Not to mention that now he must think that his theory about not belonging to each other must be correct.

"And you have a daughter now?" He asked in awed curiosity. Mirai never thought that he would see his sensei with a child of his own, and he found the thought slightly amusing. Gohan's face picked up a bit as he remembered his daughter. "Ya, her name is Pan." He said in a somewhat happier tone of voice. "A real spitfire sometimes, but she's an angel when she's sleeping." He said jokingly, knowing perfectly well how his daughter actually *could* pass for an angel on some occasions.

Mirai chuckled softly at the joke. It was good seeing his mentor again, and he was glad that he seemed to harbour no bad feelings for leaving like he did all those years ago. He was right all along. If he'd stayed with Gohan then he would have never fallen for his true love and his daughter would have never been born.

He had that much to comfort him through his misery. In reality he was hoping that perhaps he was wrong, and that maybe he and Gohan could pick up from where they left off. He remembered how his sensei had commented on his hair when he was here last, so he grew it out in hopes of impressing him.

Of course there was still feelings of guilt for loving someone other than the Gohan of his time, but he was thinking about what this Gohan had said to him before he ran away in those years that he was gone for, and a part of him realised that he was indeed right. His sensei wouldn't want him to be miserable for the rest of his life, and they were technically the same person, so it couldn't be cheating.......Could it?

Videl snarled at the sight of them. They looked like they were meeting for the very first time, but with her experienced and well trained eyes she could see straight through the looks they were giving each other. `Why don't you just rip his clothes off and have sex with him in front of me, Gohan!' She thought nastily while thinking about how she could get the time traveller alone for a few minutes before any more damage was done to her marriage.

Gohan then led Mirai over to sit by the drinks table to talk, while everyone else just left them alone and continued on having fun. They'd already said hello and welcomed him back, so they figured that Gohan should get some alone time with him considering how close they both were.

"So...Why did you come back after all this time?" He asked the lavender haired prince, not knowing how else to start up a conversation. He truly did hope that he was here to stay this time.

Mirai winced slightly at the question, and Gohan regretted asking it immediately. "My okasaan died recently, and I have no other family, so I came back and asked if I could stay here." He explained sadly.

Gohan nodded his head slowly in understanding. "I'm sorry about that." He apologised sincerely.

"It's alright, I'm fine now." Mirai said, with a halfhearted smile on his face.

Gohan sighed, knowing that he wasn't completely alright and was lying. Then a thought occurred to him. He knew that he would regret asking this, but he just had to do it anyway. "Why did you make us wait so long and come back after ten years?" He asked with his voice somewhat low. "You could've visited us, y'know." He said in a bitter tone. Of course he was glad that he came back, but he just wished that he'd done it sooner.

Mirai winced again, and just like he expected he would, Gohan regretted the question. "I-I just wanted to make sure that if-if I came back.....then I wouldn't be....interfering with your life." He said quietly while putting his head down slightly, feeling ashamed of himself for voicing, in not so many words, the fact that he was still in love with him.

Gohan gasped in shock, immediately understanding what he meant. `He came back for me?' He thought in complete and total awe, wondering how it must've felt coming back only to find out that he was married. Gohan felt tears in his eyes over the fact that he didn't wait for him......but, it *was* ten years. He shouldn't feel guilty at all! If anything it was Mirai's fault that they weren't together now. Because *he* was the one who left!

"I supposed it's a good thing that I came back after so long though." He said quietly, snapping Gohan out of his slightly angered thoughts. He just gave him a confused look as he continued. "Because if I *had* stayed, you would've never gotten married or had your daughter." He said simply while not looking at him in the eye.

Gohans heart melted when he heard that. He was only looking out for him and trying to make sure that he didn't get in the way of what he thought would make him happy. And it was true, Pan *wouldn't* exist if he hadn't left, so he couldn't be angry with him when it came down to *that*!

Gohan still couldn't help the frown that pulled on his lips. He did love his daughter, but that didn't mean he forgot about him or stopped wanting him! He leaned in a little closer to him, so no one could hear what he had to whisper. "That doesn't mean I stopped loving you, y'know." He said in a faint whisper, that even Mirai had trouble picking up.

He did hear it though, and his head immediately shot up in the shock of it, and he couldn't help but stare straight into his black eyes in pure disbelief. "W-what?" Was all he could choke out.

Gohan smiled slightly before slowly reaching out and taking Mirai's hand into his, forgetting that his wife was still in the room. He tensed up slightly at the unexpected contact, but soon relaxed, and both gently and nervously smiled back at him.

"Are you sure about this?" He asked hesitantly.

"Of course I'm sure." He replied softly. Little did they know that Videl was watching them at this precise moment, and she was fuming. "I've never been more sure about anything in my entire life. I love you, and I always will."

Tears were threatening to spill over the rim of Mirai's eyes at the beautiful statement that was meant solely for him, but he was so confused right now that he felt like exploding. If he loved him so much then why did he get married to Videl? Of course he was aware that ten years, or seven in his time, was an awfully long time to wait for someone, and it would be understandable for anyone to simply move on with their lives and be happy. It just confused him.

He left thinking that Gohan would be with the person who he was *meant* to fall in love with, and that it would be inevitable for him to be forgotten. Yet the very day he comes back, Gohan says how much he still loves him without any hesitation or second thought to his wife.

His face fell when he thought about his wife. "W-what about Videl?" He asked in a small voice. "Don't you love her?"

Gohan shook his head. "I used to love her as a good friend, and the only reason why I even married her was to make myself forget about you." He slowly shook his head at the stupid idea he'd had back then. "It didn't work though." He said sadly.

Mirai was completely dumbfounded at the statement. The thought that even after his departure, his love never stopped thinking about him was one thing, but the fact that his plan on making him happy with the person who he thought he was meant to be with had backfired and only caused him pain was another!

"I'm sorry." He whispered sadly while lowering his head.

Gohan reached his hand out and gently grabbed his chin, forcing him to look up at his loving eyes. "I'm just happy that you finally came back." He said softly in a voice that was so full of love and emotion, that Mirai had to choke back a sob.

Videl was still watching the loving pair from her little corner in complete disgust. She was standing plain sight while her own husband flirted with someone in front of her as if she didn't even exist! She couldn't do to much aside from scowl at them while inwardly curse at the home-wrecker who was currently stealing her husband with such ease, that she felt like being sick. `I hate that stupid kisama!!' She thought in a rage while still glaring at them.

Suddenly an idea came to her, she quickly looked over at where Chibi-Trunks was standing and motioned him to come forward to chat. He gave her a slightly confused look before saying to Goten that he would speak to him later and walking over to where she still stood, wondering what she wanted. Normally she tried to avoid him at every turn, so why did she want to speak with him?

"Um...hey there, Videl." He said in a slightly nervous tone when he made it up to her. "What's up?" He then asked.

"I was just wondering what you could tell me about him." She said while motioning to Mirai Trunks with a tilt of her head.

Trunks looked over at his new *older brother*, who was currently having a deep conversation about something with Gohan in confusion. Why would Videl ask him about Mirai? You would think that if she had any questions then she would just ask him herself. "Um...What do you want to know?" He asked while eyeing her slightly.

She just shrugged her shoulders. "Not much really, I was just curious about him. Y'know, since he's you and all. I just thought it was kind of neat." She lied.

Chibi thought about that for a moment, and decided that the answer made sense, but he still didn't think that he knew enough about his older counterpart to be answering any questions on him. "Maybe you should ask him then." He said while turning back to her.

"I could," She said hesitantly. "but I don't want to seem rude or anything." She explained.

He just shrugged his shoulders and sighed. "Alright, what do you want to know?" He said, giving in to her pleas.

She couldn't help but inwardly smirk, as her plan began to take shape.

"So you're sure that you want to do this?" Gohan asked, still not wanting to take things too fast for the now younger man, in front of him. The very last thing he wanted was to scare him away again.

Mirai slowly nodded his head. "Yes, I do." He said simply while giving Gohans hand, that he still held, a light and reassuring squeeze.

He and Gohan had spoken, and he was told about how he was already planning on divorcing Videl. Mirai's heart leapt almost right out of his chest when he heard about that. Gohan was going to leave her, whether or not he was there to influence it, and he still wanted to be with him! Even after he ran away from him fro ten years in this time, he still wanted him.

Gohan had never been more happy in his entire life when his Koi nodded his head yes. Mirai had explained that while he was away, he did think about what he'd said about not being miserable for his whole life, and while there would still be a special place in his heart for his first love, it was high time to move on.

Gohan was still a little nervous about this though. He could still feel the guilt being radiated off of his love when he agreed to be with him, and it scared him a little. It wasn't as bad as it used to be, but it was still there, so he vowed to himself to take it slow and not pressure him with anything. As long as he finally had him then he would be happy.

Gohan smiled brightly at his love from the future. "You won't regret this, y'know." He whispered to him reassuringly. He then leaned across the table and softly kissed his lips to show that he meant what he was saying. Mirai chuckled softly as he happily kissed back.

`I can't believe I ran away from this.' He thought to himself in slight amazement through the kiss he was being given. It felt so good to just kiss the one he loved after all this time of hiding his feelings, from even himself. The warmth and jolts of electricity that he was receiving through Gohans lips was enough to make him want to faint, even though it was just a simple kiss.

A few people in the room couldn't help but see the two lovers as they kissed, and smile for the happy couple. They all knew about the pain in the ass Videl had been, and in their eyes it was about time that Gohan moved on with his life.

Bulma was the first to see them, and she quickly steered Chi-Chi out of the vast room before she could see them too and make a scene. Everyone else just smiled for them and continued what they were doing. Videl had already left to get her master plan into action, so no-one worried about what she would do if she caught the both of them in their lip locked position.

They softly broke off their kiss, and couldn't help but just stare into each others eyes. Mirai chuckled when he noticed how Gohans glasses became lopsided in their kiss, and he reached out and straightened them for him while he smiled.

"I love you, y'know." Gohan said softly.

Mirai smiled lightly when he heard that. "I love you too, Gohan." He replied, never taking his eyes off of him. He suddenly lowered his head in slight shame. "I'm sorry I left you all those years ago." He said quietly.

Gohan slowly reached his hand out to cup his face. "Don't even think about it aisuru, as long as your with me now, I don't care." He said softly while stroking his cheek lovingly with his thumb.

Mirai leaned into his touch and sighed in content. It felt so good to have him after all this time of being without him. He just prayed that he wasn't making a mistake in doing this.

Gohan grabbed a piece of his hair and examined it before chuckling. "Did you grow your hair out for me?" He asked in an amused tone of voice.

Mirai couldn't help but blush as he slowly nodded his head yes. Gohan chuckled again before he realised how thirsty he was.

"I'm going to get something to drink. Do you want anything?" He asked while standing up.

"I'll get it, Gohan." Mirai said while quickly standing up too. "Everyone's cleared out the drink table, so I'll go to the kitchen and get us something." He offered while pointing to the drinks table with a jerk of his thumb.

He just shrugged and nodded his head. "Alright then, but be back soon, I'd like to continue with this." He said seductively while kissing her cheek.

He blushed again before quickly heading off, looking like a million bucks as he went. He was so happy right now that it should almost be illegal. Not only did Gohan still want him despite what he did, but he was getting a divorce and they were finally going to be together!

He calmly walked into the kitchen when he got there and opened up the fridge to find something they could drink, and maybe even snack on. While he raided the fridge for food, he was still having trouble believing that he and Gohan were now a couple. After all those years apart.

He couldn't help the happy chuckle that escaped from his lips at the thought. "I just can't believe it." He said to himself in wonder.

Suddenly a female voice startled him out of his thoughts to the point where he dropped the stuff he was holding and painfully banged his head in fridge door while his head was still inside.

"Can't believe what?"

He turned around to see who'd been the one to catch him off guard, and he was pretty surprised with who he saw, with a vodka bottle in her hand too.

"Umm......Hello Videl."
