"I am real," Faust told her. "Well, as real as I've always been."

"Then how did you come back to life?" Even though he'd been the one to apparently resurrect him, he had no idea what he'd done. He just had a feeling and went with it. Of course he was also purposely trying to avoid Yuki's remark about the kids. Sitting up, he moved and pulled Yuki into his lap.

"Well, it's very simple actually. You see, I had created two scythes. One which held a portion of my power."

"Your scythe...the one that actually looked like a scythe," Kyoya guessed.

"Yes. While the other held my life force."

"The cane."

"Correct again. I had long expected Lex to betray us, so it was for that reason that I gave you my cane. In essence I was giving you my life. I knew that you'd take care of it; and I also knew that you'd inevitably bring it with you here. When the two were fused together and brought within distance of the portal I was able to return."

"Oh...well that makes sense," Alexiel said...his head hurt.

Evelyn shrugged. "Well...now that that is taken care of. Can we go home now?" she asked. She looked at Faust. "Do your mojo and teleport us back to the Heaven." She suddenly remembered something and started looking around. "I totally lost my lollipop in all the drama."

Yuki stood and helped Alexiel up. She walked over to Faust and shook his hand. "It's an honor to finally meet you. I've heard so much from everyone about you."

"Ah, Yuki. The pleasure is all mine." Faust shook her hand before motioning for the others. "As you said, I shall work my mojo." With a snap of his fingers they were gone and back in the haven. "Granny! I'm baaaack!"

"Yes, I've already informed her of that little fact." Elizabeth stood there with Granny right beside her. Alexiel was going to ask how Elizabeth came back, but he noticed the black band around her neck. Apparently her and Faust were still a package deal.

"It's about time that you've come back. I've been worried sick about the lot of you!"

"Aww, did you miss us?" Alexiel asked with a smirk.

"Not you," Granny said as she shoved him aside and hugged Evelyn and Yuki. "Oh! I've missed you!"

Kyoya wasted no time going to Macy's room. "Macy?"

Macy threw her dolls on the ground and ran to Kyoya, jumping up and reaching for him. Kyoya's arms wrapped tightly around her as she started to cry. "Daddy came home! Stay with Macy!" she cried.

Evelyn introduced Yuki to Elizabeth and afterward slipped to her room and shut the door. She walked over to her bed and sat down while grabbing the framed picture of Luna.

"We did it, Luna," she said with tears in her eyes. "I was brave just like you wanted. And...we all came back..." She hugged the picture close to her. "And yet...I feel so empty without you here to enjoy this."

"Yes honey," Kyoya said as he kissed the top of her head. "I'll stay with you. I don't have to leave anymore."

"It doesn't seem right, does it?" Alexiel walked into Evelyn's room and sat beside her. "Faust and Elizabeth both came back, yet Luna can't...." He hesitated for a moment before wrapping an arm around her. "I owe you my life, munchkin. For that and for being brave, I'm certain you've made Luna proud."

Evelyn moved closer to him, allowing him to shower her in affection. "If I could change things...if I could go back...I would have saved her too." Evelyn put the picture back on her night stand. "Things...are going to be so different now. With the demons gone, things will start over, yet there is still a chance that the portal could reopen, after all, Faust is still here."

Yuki came in as sat next to them. She started to rub Evelyn's back. "I want to ask you to be in the wedding, Evelyn. And...if you will let me...I would love to help fill the void Luna left you with. Not to replace her, but to help with the pain." She wiped Evelyn's tears. "Thank you for saving Alexiel and for being with us."

Evelyn looked up at her. "Can we just take things one step at a time?" Yuki nodded. "I want cake."

"Yeah, I've been meaning to ask him how he's still here," Alexiel muttered. Things were going to change, but he didn't know if it would be for the better or the worse. A world without demons couldn't be a bad thing; but that meant that they were practically useless. They were free to live normal lives...but how could one live a normal life after all this?

"Cake does sound good; and I'm certain that Granny has some made."

Macy clung to Kyoya while playing with Faust's top hat and Elizabeth couldn't help but squeal over how cute she was. Macy paid no mind to Elizabeth until she started grabbing her cheeks. Macy looked up at Kyoya.

"She's going to breaked me!" she cried.

Evelyn walked out with Yuki and Alexiel. She smiled at Macy and Kyoya. She was happy they were finally back together.

Kyoya just chuckled as he pet her head. "You'll be fine," he assured her. "You're a big girl, remember?"

Faust smiled at the little girl before turning to the others. "Well then, it seems that you kids did fairly well without my assistance."

"It would've been much easier had you been there," Alexiel replied.

Faust just nodded slowly. "You may not understand my reason for doing what I did, but know that I only had the best of intentions."

"They say that the path to hell is paved with good intentions."

Faust stopped at this. "Yes, I guess you are correct." There was a sad look on his face, but that was quickly replaced with a bright smile. "So when are you two kids getting hitched?"

"As soon as I plan everything out!" Yuki said while squeezing Alexiel.

Macy pulled away from Elizabeth's Hands. She crawled to Kyoya's back. "No more touchy!" she said.

Evelyn laughed and walked over to pull Macy off Kyoya's back. Macy buried her face in Evelyn's hair while rubbing her cheeks.

"Demon lady..."

Evelyn couldn't help but think of the time around Christmas when they lived in Faust house and how much she hated the ghost, calling the house a Demon house.

Alexiel ran a hand through his hair as he looked away. They were still going to get married. When he'd proposed on the spot he thought that he was going to die. Now that he realized he was going to live a long and prosperous life he was suddenly nervous about his decision.

Faust looked at Alexiel before smiling at Yuki. "Well, I'm sure it'll be just lovely! It'll be so exciting to see more little kids running about."

"Not too many more," Alexiel quickly said.

Kyoya stood up after Evelyn had taken Macy and walked over, clasping Alexiel's shoulder. "There's no greater joy then to raise a child...or ten." He couldn't help but smile as watched Macy hug Evelyn. There was no greater joy for him then his daughter.

"There is going to be so many! I have names for all ten of them already! And maybe we can have more if everything works out ok!" Yuki said jumping up and down. "There is so much to do!"

Evelyn kissed Macy's forehead as Macy talked all about what she had been doing while they were gone. Evelyn listened all the while seeing nothing but Luna in baby form.

"M-more? R-really...isn't five...or one...enough?" He couldn't believe he'd be a father of one kid...much less five...ten...or more. He shuddered at the thought.

"Nonsense! The more the merrier!" Faust slapped Alexiel on the back as he took Kyoya over to the side. "How does it feel to be one of the last demons on earth?"

"Incredibly lonely," Kyoya stated. He knew that there was only a small portion of demons which had actually accepted Faust's offer. There probably wasn't anymore then fifteen demons left, making him a very special case.

"We should send for Charley team now and regroup long enough to set up homes for ourselves. I'm sure Charley team will want to start their lives now. And we should help them," Evelyn said and handed Macy a piece of candy. "Our job really isn't over just yet. We should help people rebuild and start over. After all, we swore to protect them."

Yuki smiled. "She's right. We should do what we can."
