Bikky woke Sunday with his usual mood, today, Ryo had decided that before taking it much further than needed that they should talk about a few things. Such as what troubles they might face being together. Bikky knew, he'd seen it with Dee and Ryo plenty. People calling them fags, or damn fairies. Of course that was five seconds before Dee would beat the crap out of them, but that wasn't the point. The two had had insults flung at them left and right, yet, because they were together they didn't care of course with Dee this depended on whether or not Ryo was hurt or offended by what others said. Ryo's aunt and uncle didn't care, they thought it was good that he'd found someone he could love and be loved back with. Of course, while setting there on the couch, snuggled up together, the two of them said all that was needed with just one glance into each other's eyes. They would stay together no matter what happened. Then, came the thundering noise from downstairs. Someone was yelling at some people, then, the door to Dee's apartment was rammed against. "Come on, Bikky, we have to hide, someone's trying to break in." Lai said.

Bikky lead Lai to Dee's bedroom, where, outside the window was a fire escape. They heard the door bust just as Bikky was trying to open the window, Lai turned to the door. "Bikky, there's one thing I forgot to mention about myself." Lai explained rushing to the door.

"What would that be?" Bikky asked, struggling with the window that didn't want to move.

"My weird abilities.... They.... I'm.... I have these.... Abilities." Lai explained.

"Lai, I already know you can seemingly float, but, I don't care, if you can put those ablities to use now, then do so, please!" Bikky said as the thugs came up the steps.

"I already am," Lai replied as an audible thud hit the door. "But, at this rate, I'm not going to be able to hold out much longer."

"Got it!" Bikky exclaimed, pulling the window open.

Just as Lai fell onto the floor, passed out. "SHIT!" Bikky exclaimed as three men came barging in.
When Lai woke, he was sitting next to Bikky, along with a few other of Dee's neighbors. "What?" Lai murmered.

Bikky shushed him, quietly. "Shhhh, you pushed yourself too hard, Lai." Bikky whispered.

"Guess I used too much of my energy holding them off..." Lai muttered.

"So, P.K. boy, what do we do now?" Bikky replied, showing that he didn't mind Lai's abilities.

"Not much we can do, I can't do to much, I don't have enough energy to, I'm exhausted." Lai explained.

"Well, guess we'll find out what they plan to do with us in a little while." Bikky said, simply.

He turned to an old woman that sat next to him. "Hey, Mrs. Hemming, are you okay? They didn't hurt you too badly did they?" Bikky asked her.

"No, Bikky, thank- you for asking, you're a good lad," She whispered. "Dee will come and help us, I'm sure."

"No doubt." Bikky replied.
Ryo and Dee were both sitting down to round two of them verses paperwork when JJ and Drake came in. "We just got a call on a case and the Captin wants you two to be with us on it pronto!" Drake explained.

"Why? What's wrong?" Ryo asked.

"Hostage situation at some apartment complex." JJ informed, handing Dee the quick information sheet on the place.

"That's where I live!" Dee exclaimed.

"We left Bikky and Lai at your apartment, Dee! What if?" Ryo said, getting upset.

"No, we can't let ourselves think about that at the moment, this is Bikky we're talking about, he knows how to handle it on his own. I'm sure they're smart enough." Dee replied, as the two rushed to their car.

Soon, they were at the apartments, and on the phone with the crook who had the whole place holed up.
The phone in one jerk's pocket rang once, twice.... "Hello, are we ready to take down my demands? Good." He stated. "Is there a Bikky or Bik here?"

"Yeah." Bikky replied and was handed the phone.

"Are you and Lai okay?" Dee's voice asked.

"Yeah, Mrs. Hemming and that lady two floors down with her two youngest kids are here too, Dee." Bikky replied.

"We're going to try our best to get you guys out of there, okay?" Dee replied.

"Kay, listen Dee, I have to go, tell Ryo he's the best parent I could ever have, okay?" Bikky replied, calmly handing the phone back to the man in charge.

"That's right, I'll release all except for one, then, you can transfer the money into my account, and I'll release the last guy." The man replied.

With that the man hung up before looking at them. "All of you except for the black head here, go." The man replied.

"But, Lai!" Bikky stammered.

"I'll be fine, Bik, go." Lai explained.

With that, Bikky followed the others outside, slightly dazed before he ran for Ryo's arms. "They still have him, they still have...." His voice trailed off at the sound of someone from the roof.

Then, the announcement came loud and clear. "This is going to hurt him than it is me, but, seems you guys don't get the hint, I want my money now, or else." He held a gun to Lai's head.
"LAI!" Bikky couldn't hold back his cry as the man held the gun to Lai's temples.
"You'll never be able to identify him again." The man said, cold hearted beast he was.
Lai looked sadly down at Bikky and mouthed the words 'I love you.' before he turned and kicked his captor in the knee. The gun shot was heard and Lai fell out of sight.....
