Vega Obscura, but, sadly, I do not. I also wish I owned the charater Spike

from Cowboy Bebop, but, sadly, I do not own him either.

Part of me won't go away

Everyday reminded how much I hate it

Weighted against the consequences

Can't live without it so it's senseless

Wanna cut it out of my soul

And just live with a gaping hole

Take control of my life

And wash out all the burnt taste

I made the problems in the first place

Hang my head low `cause it's part of me

Ya hardly see right next to the heart of me

Heard of me the routine scar

New cuts cover where the old ones are

And now I'm sick of this

I can't stand the sandpaper thoughts that grade away on my sanity

I rather not even be then the man that's staring in the mirror through me

"Are you sure you wanna do this?" asked Van. "I mean, isn't this a lil too

front on."

"What Van?" said Raven. "Are you afriad? Since when did the great Zoid

pilot, Van, turn into a chicken?"

"Go easy on the guy, grandpa," said Vega."I know what he's goin' through.

If I didn't kno what was gonna happen, I would be scared too."

"What's gonna happen?" asked Van.

"I can't answer that," said Vega. "What ever happens has to happen. If it

doesn't, it will alter the future altogether. I know that I am going to get shot. I

can't do anything about it though. If I dodge that one bullet, the future will be

changed forever."

"But I can't just watch you get shot up," said Raven.

"You have to," said Vega. "if I'm not shot and LIVE, by the way, then

something will be altered in the future and everything will be messed up. No

one, and I mean no one, can change that."

"I see," said Van. "Do you know exactally when it is gonna happen?"

"No," said Vega, "but when it does happen, you have to let it go."

"Alright," said Raven loading his rifle and throwing the guns in a duffle bag.

"Let's go," said Van.

Van, Raven, and Vega exited the room and headed towards the street. "My

car or yours?" asked Van.

"Mine's faster," said Raven. "Let's go mine."

"No," said Vega leading them to the garage. "I believe mine is faster. You

guys gotta plan anyways. Get in the back and I'll drive."

"Right," said Raven.

"OK," said Van.

They jumped into the blue convertable and Vega started the car. The car

sped out of the garage and headed towards the huge facility building.
