Chapter 2: Taloko's Secret

Zinx walks outside of the temple, back out in the chaos. Zinx raises the Destiny Blade and a beam of light shoots from the tip of the blade. The beam shoots up in the sky as Taloko sees it in the distance.

"Well, looks like Zinx has the Destiny Blade. Oh well, he can't stop my next and final plan, not even with the Destiny Blade." Taloko laughs.

"What is your final plan, Taloko?" Drel demands.

"You'll see." Taloko looks at him with an evil smug.

Zinx and his team look and see Taloko's Palace and run toward its direction.

"Ralo! Vaki! Kita! We need to get to that palace pronto!" Zinx shouts back at them as they run.

"Zinx! When I took the Elemont of Peaks from Taloko, I discovered a route that goes much faster! It'll take us right to Taloko! It's the route I took to find you in Freezoa, it's this way, follow me!" Ralo cries out as he run one way.

The others follow him as the villages in Tyli get more brutality from the storm.

Ralo leads them to a tall hill with several tree on one side but the other side is destroyed from the storm.

"Oh no, the route is destroyed…" Ralo sighs.

Zinx looks at a tree and gets a idea. With 4 slashes from the Destiny Blade, 4 large platform-like chunks of tree bark fall to the ground.

"No it's not!" Zinx says as he jumps on one of the tree barks and boards down the side of the hill.

The others join him as they ride down the hill like if they were snowboarding. Then, lightning strikes the hill above and causes a landslide.

"Kita, Ralo, Vaki, full throttle!" Zinx shouts out while he sees the landslide coming.

The four avoid loose rocks and debris from the landslide above as they nearly reach the bottom of the hill.

"This is one big hill!" Vaki shouts as he jumps to avoid a rock.

Soon, the four slide down the bottom of the hill and off a cliff, the cliff surrounds Taloko's Palace. Zinx jumps off the tree bark as his friends follow him as they grab the rock part of the palace. The four start to climb up as Taloko sits, waiting.

In about 20 minutes of climbing, the four find the entrance bridge that leads into Taloko's lair. Zinx and the others climb onto the bridge and then turn to see a lightning bolt heading right for them, destroying everything in its path. The four quickly run inside as the bridge is destroyed by the lightning bolt. Zinx looks around the main hall and then sees Taloko standing at the other end.

"Welcome, Zinx, to my palace. You have traveled many miles just for this final meeting." Taloko speaks.

"You bet!" Zinx says, unsheathing the Destiny Blade.

Taloko smiles evilly from his secret plot. Taloko then chants a Hellfire spell.

"Gomer Gomo La Haria!" Taloko chants as the room starts to change.

Soon, Drel appears and the room swirls and Zinx blinks once and opens his eyes to a dark wasteland-like valley. Zinx turns and sees the ruined Quilo.

"We're in the Quilian wasteland; this is where we started our quest!" Zinx says.

"Yes, and you shall perish like everyone else!" Taloko laughs as he summons the Book of Hellfire.
