The next day I opened my eyes and looked over at my clock. I was shocked to see the time was already eleven fourty seven. My eyes shot wide open and I sat straight up in bed. I looked over at my calender and flopped back down into my bed.

"Ugh. Saturday. How could i forget?" I mumbled before I started to slip into slumber once more. Half dreaming I saw a set of silver eyes stairing at me. I sat upright and shook the vision from my head. I smiled and remembered the awkward and quiet car ride home the night before. I remembered suddenly that Perrin had asked if i would go out with him. I smiled and placed my feet on the hardwood floor. I smiled and went to take a shower.

As I passed the mirror, I stopped and looked at my reflection. Pale blond hair on a plain face, speckled with freckled across my nose. my green eyes groggy and red from sleep. I sighed and wondered why Perrin wanted to go out with someone as normal and plain as me.

I decided to just enjoy my good fortune and not worry about it. I turned the water on and adjusted it to the hottest tempeture I could stand, took off my night clothes, and stepped into the shower. I sighed as the water cascaded down my hair and body. I stood under the water for a long time. I heard a knocking on my bathroom door.

"You taking a shower sis?" I heard Pip ask me. I continued to stand under the water until i heard a giggle and stomping down the stairs. The tolite flushed downstairs and my water ran cold. I screamed and jumped out of the freezing waters path. Loud footsteps announced Pip running back up the stairs. "You ganna ignore me still sis?" he asked innocently.

"Pip, go away and let me shower in peace. Please?" I yelled at him through the door. He laughed and took off down the stairs. I waited once more for the downstairs tolite to flush, but when I heard no sounds I stepped back into the calming waters.

When I finnished my shower I got dressed and made my way down stairs. My little brother was sitting on the couch, Perrin sitting next to him, both playing a violent fighting game. I laughed and plopped down between them.

"I play winner!" I stated and both Pip and Perrin laughed. Perrin handed me the controler and looked over at me. Pip laughed and did his victory dance on the coffie table as the game ran through it's begining again.

"Little Jorden here is very good at this game, I can't seem to beat him." I laughed at Perrin calling Pip by his real name, and smiled at him.

"Call him Pip, we all do, I gave it to him when he was five, cause he was so short." Perrin looked at me confused. "It's short for pipsqueek..." I informed him. Pip made a face and started pushing buttons on his controler, I looked at the screen and saw my health half gone. I atacked him and soon had him beaten.

"No fair! you alwayse win Jaclyn!" he put the controler down and stomped off. I looked at Perrin and smiled. I was again at a loss for words and didnt' quiet know what to say. Perrin looked over at me and put his hand on mine.

Slowly Perrin stood and I followed. He kissed my hand and headed down the hall, not leting go of my hand. He lead me down the hall and into a room. He had me sit down and told me he had a special supprize for me. I was slightly worried, but ignored the feeling.
