“You look disappointed Liana, here just call me Shiyou.” I pulled my hand away from his grip and I stride to the front door where safely Caid stood. Gliding in I reached out for his hand to have him follow me, so as to get away from this to clean and perfect place. Caid walked me upstairs to a white room; it had white curtains embroidered with gold, cotton sheets and silk comforters in a marble bed. A white and gold dresser was against the wall, lined with everything imaginable. I jumped on the bed and sat up to see Caid leaning against the frame his beautiful smile across his face.

“Where is your room?” I asked pulling my knees under my chin and watching a surprised but calm look cross his face.
“I don't live here often. I have an apartment in the city.” He said. My head dropped with disappointment to the top of my knees, I was being left here alone with Shiyou, who sure as hell scared me.
“I can stay here if you want me to.” My head shot up and smiled genuinely which felt weird on my face, since it wasn't such a familiar feeling.

“Would you like to see the area?” he asked putting his hands in his pockets. I nodded and followed him out. He showed me everything, the place was bigger than I thought but I felt glad just to be in his company and not in Shiyou's.
It began to darken and we were called in for dinner but in my room laid a lame ruffled dress, so I decided on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt I found in the dresser. Shiyou was upset with my choice of clothing by the way he looked at me but he didn't say anything. I ate a small portion then excused myself to go to sleep, inside I brushed my hair out in front of the mirror. Staring deeply at my reflection in the mirror I tried to find this angel person everyone expected but all I saw was myself and nothing more. Sighing I set the brush down and climbed under the sheets.

“NO! You won't hurt him!” My hands wrapped around sais and stabbed into a chest with blood pouring out over my hand, the smell of dying and betrayal lingered in the air. I looked over and saw Caid bleeding and moved to wipe the blood from his face but suddenly something stabbed me in the back and my body fell into his arms tears pouring out all over him and my mind racing with thoughts of confusion.
I woke up screaming, for Caid in my mind, tears mixing with the sweat pouring down my brow. He rushed in and my tears slowed as he incased me in a hug and the tears stopped.

“Don't leave me.” I said gripping his shirt tightly and pulling him down with me on the top of the comforter. I cuddled up close to him and fell asleep against his chest, his hand stroking my hair as his other hand pulled the comforter over us. When it finally became morning I awoke to find him sleeping the same way when I first met him. The doors to the room burst open and Shiyou stormed in and pulled me away from Caid. He awoke and acted against the people that were trying to pull him away as well. They hit him in the face and the stomach and I saw his blood.
“Seems you're a distraction to her Grandness, who is also my lover.” Shiyou accused.

“He isn't like that! I had a nightmare and called to him for-” he cut me off.

“Why him? Why not me? We were in love once!” He had me by the wrist hard and glared at Caid.

“Take him away! You are never to see her again!” Guards pulled him away but my anger was building, how dare this man treat me like I was his! I am not a possession! I thought.

“No!” My power threw him back and it built getting almost out of control.

“Let your power rage and Caid could get killed.” Shiyou snickered knowing I would stop and watch him go.

“I will find you!” I yelled to Caid as Shiyou grabbed my wrist and roughly pulled on it so I'd face him.

“Now my dear, no more distractions.” And he tried to kiss me and it was disgusting that he came close, so I let loose and hit him hard in the nose.

“Don't touch me!” I screeched pulling my hand away from his and preparing to hit him again.

“Fine then I'll have you locked in here!” He stormed out and locked the doors, his voice outside yelling at the guards to make sure I did not step out of that room. Later a woman came in to give me food but I didn't move from my spot, that's when Shiyou walked in.

“Eat woman!” I spat on his shoe and turned away not before he slapped me across the face. He stormed out again and I pulled the leather jacket around me and put my hands in the warm pockets and felt the paper. I pulled the paper out and read it over and over again trying to find an answer to my problem but it didn't come until I read the address again.
Wait! It wasn't the same as the mansion; could this be his apartment address? I was willing to take a chance. I pulled on my jeans and strapped the jacket on, I grabbed a bag and threw in some clothes and stuff I had.

Now to figure out how I was going to get out of there, my eyes darted to the window but I didn't have something to open it with. The sais could, I thought, but how was I going to get that to work? I tried remembering that night when I fainted. Concentrate, the moon on your face, he was there and the energy shaped itself. My hands felt a metal object rest in each hand and held them up to see. I ran at the window and the blade penetrated and shattered the window to pieces.
I leapt out in a floating way and landed on the ground. An alarm went off and guards came from every direction, but my first instinct was to fight so I did, taking out the guards by stabbing them in the chest but these humans turned into demons of all kinds.
I knew there was more to this place , but I didn't feel the desire to stick around long enough to find out. I jumped over a huge fox demon standing in my path to kill a bat demon. His claws grabbed at my arm and tore through even my skin. The blood ran down my arm in a slow waterfall off the tips of my fingers.

Blood, so long it had been since I had seen so much of my own blood. I saw the razor it was sharp enough to draw blood on impact. I remember cutting my right wrist then left, seeing the blood flow smelling of pennies. I saw again my limp form on the floor tears mixing in with the blood and a sudden rush of air as someone picked up my pale form. I never saw who the person was but I felt safe and loved. I strayed from the memories and cut the bat's wing but…wait I was hovering above him. A feather fell from the sky, a black one. Shit! My mind said. Not angels too! But they weren't angels they were my own black wings. Had my memories awakened them? I had no time to contemplate it but took off high away from the death building.

I could see everything, I knew where I was going. As morning inched its way forward it began to sprinkle but then it poured like hail, it hit me in the face and the eyes. I soared down into the city, on top of an apartment building. The neon light on the side flashed and the note in your hand matched. Shivering I opened the roof door and ran down the stairs rushing through the still sleeping halls. You glanced at the numbers until I saw Caid's at the end by the large window.
Cold and tired I laid my cheek against the door and felt his presence, he was asleep and my hand instinctively reached for him and I phased through the door landing smack on my face. I looked up scared I had awakened him but his breathing hadn't changed its beat. I walked up to the nearest room and slipped into the bathroom. A warm shower was what I was thinking of at the moment and my numb hand went to the knob. Aw...the hot water felt good after a fly through the rain, I felt down my back but here was no sign of the wings. I sighed and faced the shower head the water beating down on my face. I slowly awoke from my quiet serenity to see Caid standing there well somewhat asleep and didn't quite notice I was standing there. Darting to the back of the shower I tried to grab the towel hanging but missed and slipped into the tub hard. He pulled the curtain back, now fully awake. His eyes darted to me crumpled in his tub naked.

“Liana…” he stuttered.

“Stop looking!” I yelled throwing the first object I could get a hold of.

“Hey don't throw things!” Throwing his arms up to protect himself as he ran out of the bathroom. I got out and pulled on my shirt and shorts quickly so I could explain my intrusion. Caid was sitting on his bed that earlier I had seen him sleeping so peacefully.

“How did you get here?” He asked putting his head in his hands.

“I thought you would be a little happier about my arrival, but if not I can leave.” I grabbed my bag and started for the door but he came behind me and held me close to him. I laid my head on his collar and let the bag slip from my hand.

“How did you escape?” He asked leaning his head down on mine.

“What you think I'm unable to?” Sarcasm dripped from my lips.

“No not that way I just want to hear how advanced your powers have gotten.” I laid there in peace for a minute then spoke.
“Step back.” He moved away from my back and I released the energy through my back to make the black wings sprout in a blur of feathers. I turned to him and he smiled in a relieved sense.

“You are moving quickly Liana.” I laughed out loud and couldn't make it stop.

“Did I say something funny?” Clueless and so adorable he laughed too.

“We need to do something fun for once, we should go back and find my friends.” He stopped laughing and nodded in agreement, grabbing clothes and going to the bathroom.

“Better lock the door or I'll walk in.” I yelled laughing as a click came from the handle and I decided to dress for the occasion. The apartment was very modern, considering the country, and clean besides the bedroom. Caid stepped out wearing a button up white shirt, black denim jeans, sneakers and his jacket thrown over his shoulder.

“Here you can keep this.” He threw me the leather jacket that had been in my possession for awhile. I wrapped it around my body and grabbed his hand.

“They should be in Osaka by the castle.” I informed pulling him down the hall to the station.

“And where do they think you are?” He asked a amused look on his face.

“Visiting a friend.” I pulled on him harder to get down the road to the train station in a crazy moment we were in. Soon after getting on I fell asleep from the hard night before.
