I'll Cry...

You know you're going crazy when the air conditioner barks like your dog... O.o But you know you're even crazier when there are two chapters uploaded at once!

Still, don't get used to it.

------------------

Chaos: So Itoshii and I spoke a bit...

Reaper: And...?

Chaos: She wants to be in the story...

Reaper: ... And...?

Chaos: I don't know... I don't want a lot of people in my story...

Reaper: Get to the point or I'm leaving.

Chaos: Well, Nieni asked first (to be in the story), and so I gave her a character that might be in the story for a while. I don't want a lot of people that aren't mine in the story so... I don't know how long Itoshii will be in the story! Probably not that long... X.x

Chiave Sleutel: Aren't you going to hurt her feelings?

Chaos: Agh! Leave me alone you evil woman!

Ms. Caola: Chaos apologizes to all. If you ask to be in the story, there are certain liberties the author will take... Like, who you are and what you're like... So if you ask to be in the story, don't bitch and live with who or what you are! Or kill Chaos. Ahem, right. *turns off screen*

Stixx stalked around Chance's naked body. "I really don't know what he sees in you." Stixx murmured. "You're all scrawny and these wings... I ripped them apart before, and I will again."

Chance struggled a bit, hating the position he was in. "You won't touch me!"

Stixx laughed. "Your humor is pathetic as well... Not that I want Eon to like me though." Stixx pondered a moment. "Oh, and where is your master? Or your friend, that silver-haired one?"

Chance struggled some more, trying to work his wrists free. "Don't talk about my master!"

Stixx turned away, leaning against the wall. "It's so amazing how loyal you hybrids are to your masters. Like... Seks..." Stixx paused, and cocked his head to the side. "Though he says, that isn't his name..." Stixx turned back to Chance. "I wonder what his real name is then."

"I-I don't care..." Chance gasped out, his arms sore and aching from holding his body weight.

"Do you want down?" Stixx asked as if he had just noticed Chance hanging there.

"Yes..." Chance said in a whisper.

Stixx narrowed his eyes cruelly as he smiled. "Of course then, you will be let down..."

The whip around Chance's arms snapped and Chance fell to the ground... Except the ground was no longer there. Chance screamed as he fell through the darkness. Stixx watched as Chance disappeared. Eon appeared at the door and he narrowed his eyes at Stixx.

"Why did you tell me the master wanted me when he didn't?!" he spat. He then noticed that Chance was gone. "Stixx!"

Stixx looked at Eon in slight fear. "Eon..."

//I don't care though! Let him go to my hell!//

Chance felt strange. It was like he was floating... He opened his eyes. Standing there in front of him was a woman. She had long beautiful white hair with blue streaks in it. Her eyes were white as well, with no pupils. She wore a long flowing blue dress. She seemed to be floating in midair... Wherever that was. She smiled sweetly at him. He looked at her warily a moment before he explored around him with his eyes.

There was absolutely nothing but blackness. That, and the woman. She stayed absolutely still, and except for the smile, she hadn't moved once. She stepped down dark stairs that hadn't been there before. When she reached what apparently was the last one, Chance found that he was much taller than her. She walked up to him, touching his cheek gently.

"Chance..." she said softly. Her voice was musical and sweet. When the faint echoes of her voice disappeared, Chance found that he wanted more.

"W-Who are you?" he whispered.

"I am Itoshii..." she said in that musical voice again. "It's going to be alright..."

"Where am I?"

"In a dream... You're just peacefully dreaming..." she murmured.

"Why is it so dark?"

Itoshii chuckled. It was also a pleasant sound. It was like the dainty tinkling of bells or the soft bubbling of a stream. "Is there any reason for it to be light? There's no happiness in your world right now." It made sense to Chance right then. He lifted a hand to touch her shoulder. She was solid. To Chance, that meant she must be real. Itoshii laughed again. "I'm here for you Chance, whenever you need me..."

She pulled him close and into a hug. He was shocked, and didn't react for a moment. Finally he brought his arms around her and hugged her close. She felt warm and reassuring, and he felt better almost immediately. He felt a rush of air by his fingers. He opened the eyes that he wasn't aware of shutting. He saw large white wings that seemed to glow golden.

Chance pulled away from Itoshii. A smile curved on her lips, but her eyes remained closed. "W-What are you?!" Chance demanded.

Itoshii ducked her head slightly. "I'm a GA..." she murmured and then laughed. "You have to wake up Chance..." She leaned forward and kissed him softly on the lips.

Chance let his eyes close. When he opened his eyes, he saw golden sparkles lighting the air. Itoshii was gone. The golden sparkles lit up and sliced through the darkness around Chance. That was when Chance truly opened his eyes. He groaned and rubbed his head. He was sitting in the middle of a city. A car horn honked, and Chance barely rolled out of the way as it sped past him.

//Thrown out of one strange place to open my eyes to a whole new weird one...//

Croix felt like the water was holding him. It was very weird. The water didn't seem to be touching him. It was more like a sheet of water surrounded him on all sides, but avoided his body. He stood up shakily, feeling the water support his weight. He raised a hand to touch the water around him, but it parted like a curtain to let his hand through. He walked forward, experimenting. The water parted to let him by.

He finally succeeded in walking to a large rock that jutted out from the waterfall. He gave a sigh of relief as he stood on the wonderfully solid rock. That changed as the rock moved suddenly. He gave a little shriek. The rock slowly moved down to the ground below. A few times the edge of the rock would touch the rushing water and it would spray a fine mist over him, but otherwise it was a smooth ride.

The rock stopped moving once it reached the ground. Croix stepped off the rock and onto the hopefully solid and still ground. After preparing for anything and everything, nothing happened. He let himself rest by, well fainting.

//I'm alive...//

Nieni growled as she paced back and forth. She turned to Nite, who was wavering in and out of focus. "Damnit Nite, turn off that stupid illusion."

Nite sighed and snapped his fingers. A blue shimmering substance flickered over Nite's body a few times before flying in a stream away into the sky. Nite now was solid like Nieni. "Something wrong Nieni? I don't think he's dead." he asked.

"I know he's alive..." Nieni murmured softly. "But he's not safe..."

//I'm... Alive...//

Croix opened his eyes, wondering just how many times a person can faint or pass out in their lifetime. Kneeling next to him was the masked person that had saved him before. Croix sat up quickly, regretting it as his head pounded angrily. The man pushed him lightly on the chest so Croix laid back down.

"Thank you... For saving me... Again..." Croix blushed as he thought of how weak he must seem. "W-Who ar--?"

"It was lucky I caught you before you hit the ground." The man interrupted. "You should probably rest some more though. You seem still injured from the monster."

"Okay..."

With one swift movement, Croix was in the strangers' arms and the earth around them was speeding by. Croix blushed at the contact he had with the man. The man was incredibly fast. In seconds, Croix had been in the middle of nowhere, to a huge city.

"Where are we now?" Croix wondered aloud.

"Guardian Link... Uh, City." the man answered.

//Another city...//

The girl smiled at Seks shyly. Dorothy glared daggers at the girl. Garreth threw a bottle of pop at Seks, and he caught it out of reflex. The girl flicked a strand of wet golden hair back, spraying Dorothy. Dorothy stood up angrily. Upon seeing she had an audience, she stalked out of the room blushing.

"So who are you?" Garreth asked, as he walked into the `living room'. He handed the girl a soda and opened his own.

"I'm Penelope, and I don't drink... Whatever this is." Penelope said, handing Garreth the bottle back. She waved her fingers in front of her, studying her nails.

"What are you doing here?" Garreth asked, taking the pop and handing Penelope some water.

"... I got lost." she said finally.

Garreth sighed in exasperation. Dorothy, who was listening in the hall growled softly. "She's lying... But why?" Dorothy thought a moment, then blushed. She walked away down the hall, still blushing. "And I'm lying as well." she grumbled.

//I regret nothing...//

Eon let out a roar. He stomped over to Stixx, and grabbed his human arm. Stixx let out a cry of pain. Smoke started to rise from Stixx's arm. Stixx shrieked as his arm burned. Eon let go finally, and Stixx fell to his knees. Stixx cried softly. Eon grabbed a fistful of Stixx's long black hair. He yanked Stixx to his feet.

Stixx gave a little whimper. "Why?" he asked with tears in his eyes. "All I ever did was love you."

"I don't love you." Eon hissed at him.

Stixx crumpled over. His maroon eyes cried tears of blood. Eon watched the pitiful creature as more and more blood poured over the ground. He clenched his fist. A moment later Stixx screamed and threw his head back. Long black hair whipped through the air, each strand twitching in pain. Blood lingered in the air like stained crystal tears before swirling about to finally land in Eon's fist.

"Where is Chance?" Eon asked.

Stixx let out an inhumane growl. "I killed t-the bastard...!"

"Then you'll die as well."

Stixx shook his head back and forth, his long black hair tangling around his arms and legs. "Y-You can... can't..."

"... Die..." Eon whispered.

//... I'll cry bloody tears; they'll fall like rain from the sky; I'll drown in my fears; because this time I'll truly die...//
