Chapter 19: The Epic Clash Begins!

 

 

“You betrayed Hi Go An just for your limitless ambition of power. You have committed many sins. Tell me, what new name have you gotten as the Leader of the Dabus?” asked Tomoro.

 

“I am Nemesis, Lord and Leader of the Dabus, the Lords of Darkness” replied Nemesis with a smile.

 

“I once defeated you and I see why can't I know” said Tomoro as the castle rumbled even more.

 

“You are older. The powers of the Dark Matter can help me be younger for a longer time” replied Nemesis.

 

“Extend your life with Dark Matter? No, that is not the only thing that keeps you young” said Tomoro.

 

“You have other powers I dare to not speak here you wretched foul beast” said Tomoro.

 

“A wretched foul beast you say? Wretched is the son of a bitch that left me alone in this world.” said Nemesis as he got angrier.

 

“I guess I hit your spot there. Tell me Nemesis, how is it that you became a Dabus?” asked Tomoro.

 

“Long ago... even before the Great War, the Dabus knew their time was about to end and they were short in numbers compared to the Numbus of the world. They used a lonely boy from Hi-Go-An, a boy that was left in this world with no trace of his parents. They used that boy and trained him secretly in the arts of the Dabus and commanded him from the darkness. That boy was me. Later on the Great War begun and I was given a simple task, revive the Gazul Rebellion looking for those with that bloodline to help the Dabus and defeat the Numbus. Sadly, I guess the Dabus were greatly outnumbered, far more than they imagined and were taken out one by one until the day only two remained, one hidden in the shadows and another that was living among the Numbus of Hi Go An. The boy, now a teenager decided that his Dabus Lord was far too weak. The boy one night appeared from the darkness and with the power he had... killed his master and Leader. Then that boy became the only Dabus, the most powerful being on the world.” said Nemesis as he stared seriously at Tomoro and pieces of the castle began to fall down.

 

“Then, the boy was so stupid that under the nose of his so called best friend went outside to a meeting. The friend of the boy followed him and learned everything he was doing: Reviving the Gazul. The friend then stood against the Dabus boy... and defeated him, the so called most powerful being on the world” continued Tomoro with a smile drawn in his face.

 

“A fatal mistake for the Dabus boy. Sadly, his friend was too weak in heart and decided not to kill his friend and let him live. He let the Dabus boy live. And now the Dabus teenager of that time has grown, and ready to take down the friend that caused him so much trouble” finished Nemesis.

 

“Yes, it was a mistake for the boy's friend to let the Dabus boy live. After all, they had spent a lot of time since they were barely 7 years. Tell me Nemesis, what age did those two friends have?” asked Tomoro.

 

“Like sixteen I guess” replied Nemesis.

 

“The friend of the boy which had been trained to become a Leader since he was 5 years decided later to tell the world that he had let a Dabus boy live.” said Tomoro.

 

“And that almost cost the friend of the boy to lose his leadership. But the people at Hi Go An were so stupid that they said their Leader was very honest, and should not be taken down from his position” said Nemesis with an angry face.

 

“People then jumped to the conclusion that because that boy was the only Dabus left, he knew all their secrets and began to get called the other number one ranked person in the world” said Tomoro.

 

“Which I guess is true don't you think?” said Nemesis.

 

“Yes, I can confirm myself that the Dabus boy has really become very powerful, and may very well be a rank number one person” replied Tomoro.

 

“Yes” said Nemesis with a smile, but still had an angry look.

 

“Tell me, why did the boy decide to accept and become a Dabus. Was it because he was jealous of his friend which was very powerful at that age and would become the Leader of Hi Go An? Maybe that would explain the boy's crazy affliction for power to this day and age” said Tomoro.

 

“Oh, so you heard my small telepathic chat with the boy. You really are a number one Numbus, to have read that from so far away. Maybe it is true... maybe the kid was jealous” replied Nemesis.

 

“Sadly, that boy has taken the wrong path and needs to be destroyed” said Tomoro.

 

“Come at the boy” said Nemesis with a smile.

 

The hallway of the castle began to fall in pieces and in that very moment Nemesis and Tomoro jump away from the castle. They both land on one of the castle defense walls.

 

“Come Tomoro! Fix your past mistake!” said Nemesis with a smile.

 

The wall breaks in pieces. Tomoro jumps and lands in a road. Nemesis lands on it as well.

 

“Let's see if you are still strong, Tomoro” said Nemesis as he raised his hand to the skies.

 

The skies suddenly turned dark. Every single cloud was dark. Then some of those clouds fell towards Nemesis and began to surround him.

 

“Come” said Nemesis with a smile.

 

Tomoro runs towards Nemesis and does a punch. Nemesis quickly evades the attack, turns and moves behind Tomoro. Tomoro turns even faster and with a straight kick he misses Nemesis by a few inches. Nemesis had just moved to the side and was charging a kick from behind. With a swift blow he hits Tomoro in the face sending him backwards.

 

Tomoro quickly counters by jumping and suddenly disappearing. He appears behind Nemesis and with a swift kick he hits Nemesis in the neck. But to his surprise he had just kicked blobs of dark water. Nemesis head was flying and the body was below, but he had no neck.

 

“I can become liquid” said Nemesis with a smile. The blobs of water reunited and reformed his neck.

 

“You cannot hit me” said Nemesis with a grin. With a straight punch he hits Tomoro once more in the face sending him backwards.

 

Tomoro quickly re-enters the fight by jumping as high as he can towards the roof of one of the towers in the city. Nemesis follows him. He lands safely atop the building while Tomoro stares at him.

 

“Dark Technique: Crusher” said Nemesis as he gave a swift and strong blow to the roof of the building. In a matter of seconds the whole building was crashing and coming down. Tomoro jumps but while mid-air Nemesis intercepts him with a kick to the stomach. He then grabs him by the head and throws him towards the stairs of the An Church.

 

His neck looks broken and his numb body lies in the broken stairs.

 

“This was too easy” thought Nemesis.

 

Suddenly Tomoro stands up. He grabs his neck and puts it back in place. He puts his shoulder and back in the right place.

 

“You can turn into liquid, but you will never be able to break a single bone in me.” said Tomoro with a smile.

 

Nemesis extends his arms towards Tomoro.

 

“Dark Technique: Odin's Punishment” said Nemesis as a huge ray of purple and dark color was shot from his hand while mid air.

 

“Divine Technique: Jupiter's Light!” said Tomoro while he extended his arm and a ray of lightning and pure light was shot from his hand.

 

Both rays collide creating a huge explosion. The smoke clouds the view for both of them.

 

“You old man...” thought Nemesis while a disgusted look drew on his face.

 

“BODY AIR BLAST!” said Tomoro. Suddenly all the smoke moves away with just a single waving of hand from Tomoro.

 

“You are not that strong Nemesis” said Tomoro.

Meanwhile in the war that was raging outside there was a stalemate. No further action had been taken. Just catapults being shot.

 

“There is something fishy. For a while the Capital forces have been slower and dumber. They are not doing anything important” thought Commander Amy.

Roshika and Shozen climbed some stairs.

 

“The rumbling, the sky growing darker and the huge sense of power. I think there is a huge fight going outside” said Roshika to Shozen.

 

“Our duty is to get the Emperor no matter what. What happens outside, stays outside, our duty is to save him” said Shozen as they both run at full speed towards the throne room.

Shana, Sandou and Nyosuke were outside. A matter of seconds before the other soldier had arrived with Temari.

“She's bleeding in the back of her head” said the soldier that was carrying her.

 

They quickly helped her. Sandou stared at the sky.

“The Leader and that Nemesis guy are fighting outside. I need to see that!” thought Sandou.

 

“No mister! I know what you are thinking, you ain't moving from here” said Shana to Sandou as she stopped by his side.

 

“Shana...” said Sandou.

“I know you want to watch that fight. But stay here, the Leader will be alright. He's the strongest Numbus in the whole world” said Shana with a smile.

Meanwhile in the fight.

 

“Why am I not that strong heh, Tomoro?” asked Nemesis.

 

“If you totally let go your mind control on the Capital army then you could focus all that energy into fighting me” said Tomoro with a smile.

 

“Are you crazy! You are going to get worried if your fellow Numbus soldiers are fighting outside there. That will not let you focus entirely on the battle” replied Nemesis.

 

“You fool. I trust my soldiers entirely. They will not fail at anything and will fight to the very end, defending their fellow friends and defending the capital from you” said Tomoro.

 

“Oh well, as long as I can kill many of the Hi Go An Numbus, then I am happy.” replied Nemesis.

 

“A few minutes before the psychic wave controlling the soldiers got thinner. That means you aren't using that much energy into controlling them. So they are sitting ducks, awaiting to be killed.” said Tomoro.

 

Nemesis look suddenly changed.

 

“I can see psychic waves Nemesis” said Tomoro.

 

“Still, it worries you that I could use more energy and rip your fellow force to pieces” said Nemesis.

 

“Enough chat. This little conversation has allowed me to think of a few ways to fight your Liquid thing. I will show you” said Tomoro.

 

“Come, show me!” said Nemesis
