Chapter 20: Fight of the Number Ones!

 

 

“Nemesis, since the very time you betrayed Hi Go An you are considered dead. Now I'll make sure that truly happens” said Tomoro with a grin.

 

“Come, show me I said!” yelled Nemesis.

 

Below the dark clouds blue clouds appear. They begin to turn in circles and snow begins to fall from them.

 

 

“ICE FORMATION: ICE QUEEN!” yelled Tomoro.

 

From the very clouds the face of a fat woman appeared.

 

“Freeze this foul beast to a frozen hell!” yelled Tomoro.

 

The fat woman opened her mouth and it began to shine blue. After a second a huge blue ray was shot from her mouth.

 

“WHAT!” said Nemesis staring at the current events.

 

Nemesis could not move as the cold had already frozen his inner organs. The blue ray hits him straight on sending a cold blue wave around. Nemesis is frozen and surrounded by blue ice. The ice formation disappears along with the blue clouds.

 

Suddenly the ice begin to melt and Nemesis body begins to glow in a fire-red tone.

 

Suddenly the ice is shot to every side in pieces and Nemesis is surrounded by fire.

 

“Ice Technique: Blue Fire!” said Tomoro as he ran towards Nemesis without him noticing.

 

In a swift blow he hits Nemesis in his right rib.

“WHAT!” said Nemesis as he received the impact and prepared to counter with a elbow hit.

 

Tomoro easily evades the elbow hit and moves a bit away from Nemesis.

 

“You are still cold inside Nemesis. You cannot turn into liquid now” said Tomoro as he smiled.

 

“Why you old son of a ...” said Nemesis obviously angered.

 

Nemesis extends his arm but points his hand towards himself.

 

“He's going to burn himself!” thought Tomoro.

 

Tomoro quickly runs and kicks Nemesis's arm and with another swift blow he hits him in the stomach. A burst of blood comes falling down from Nemesis's mouth. He falls to his knees grasping for air.

 

“So, you really cannot fight without turning into liquid. You are weaker than you seem” said Tomoro as he kicked Nemesis in the face and he fell to the ground.

 

“I will finish you off” said Tomoro as he drew a sword from his back. Tomoro raised his sword ready to give Nemesis one final blow.

 

He lets go of the sword, making a potent slash from above. Suddenly the attack is stopped.

 

Nemesis is holding the blade with his right hand.

 

“What!” thought Tomoro. Nemesis opens his left hand revealing his palm. He thrusts it towards Tomoro's face. And with a burst of power he pushes Tomoro back to the ground as he stands up.

 

“You are the one who is weaker” said Nemesis with a smile.

 

“Ground Destroyer!” said Tomoro as he hit the ground with his elbow. The earth below Nemesis began to break in pieces. Nemesis jumps away and lands on top of a building. Tomoro follows him and sets ready his sword for a mortal slash. Nemesis then extends his arm. Suddenly dark matter begins to form in his hand and takes the form of a sword.

 

“Ultimate Sword: Dark Masamune” said Nemesis with a smile. He easily blocks Tomoro's attack and pushes him back towards another roof.

 

The Dark Masamune has the same characteristics of a normal Masamune sword, but instead it is surrounded by what seems is a purple cloud with a swirl of black energy around the sword.

 

“Come, meet your doom” said Nemesis as he ran towards Tomoro and jumped from one roof to the other.

 

The swords clash creating sparks. Slashes are thrown from every direction, every single attack blocked.

Then in a sudden surprise the dark matter around Nemesis's masamune disjoints from it. The dark matter moves in its own surprising Tomoro. He is hit in the chest and the impact creates a huge explosion that sends him flying towards the ground. The dark matter then returns to the Masamune.

 

“My sword is so much better than yours” said Nemesis with a smile.

 

Tomoro then raises his sword towards the skies.

 

“Light Technique: Zeus Sword!” said Tomoro. A powerful thunder fell from the black skies and fell over Tomoro's sword. It began to glow in light and shooting electricity to every side.

“Let's see whose sword is better” said Tomoro with a smile while Nemesis looked at him atop a building.

 

Nemesis jumps towards Tomoro and with a powerful slash from both the swords clash creating a huge impact wave that destroys the front of nearby buildings. They struggle to see who can beat who but there's a sudden explosion from the swords creating a stalemate and sending Nemesis towards the skies and pushing Tomoro down the ground.

While in the very skies Nemesis extends his hand and the dark clouds in the sky begin to surround him. Suddenly two dark wings appear in his back.

 

“Dark Technique: Dark Angel Transformation, 25%” said Nemesis while looking at Tomoro.

 

“A power-up” thought Tomoro.

 

“Let's see how you can handle this” whispered Nemesis to himself.

 

He points his sword towards Tomoro. Suddenly a ray of darkness is shot from it. Tomoro puts his sword behind him, charging it ready to counter the attack. The ray finally arrives and Tomoro unleashes his attack. The dark ray collides with the Zeus Sword. After a bit of a struggle from Tomoro he pushes it back at Nemesis. Nemesis quickly avoids the attack.

 

“Where did he go!” said Nemesis as he found that Tomoro had disappeared. Suddenly from behind Tomoro appears and hits Nemesis in the back. Nemesis is about to hit the roof of a building but he extends his wings stopping right before falling. When he turns what he sees is not pleasant. Tomoro is coming straight at him ready for a kick. He comes to fast leaving no room for Nemesis to escape and thus his last resort is to make cocoon out of the wings, a shield to protect him using the wings. The wings receive the impact and he is shot towards a tall building. The building begins to collapse sealing Nemesis inside it.

 

Tomoro lands safely at the ground staring at the destroyed building. Then the rubble begins to move aside as huge yell of power is heard from inside it. The rubble is shot to every side as Nemesis stands up. His wings had moved all the rubble around him.

 

“That was good” said Nemesis with a grin as a line of blood fell from his mouth to his chin. His nose was bleeding as well and in the forehead he had a cut which was making him bleed. They stare at each other for a few seconds with no words said.

 

Nemesis is the first to react as he jumps ready to do a slash from above. Tomoro swiftly blocks the attack and pushes Nemesis back. Suddenly while in mid-air Nemesis spins thanks to his wings and in mid-air he uses his wings to boost himself back towards Tomoro. This left Tomoro unguarded and received a hit in the right area of his body. His left knee falls to the ground as he tries to resist the pain.

 

“I have some small advantages over you, don't you think” said Nemesis with a smile as he looked back at Tomoro.

 

Tomoro, saying no word, jumps towards the skies.

 

“Let's see what else can you do” thought Nemesis.

 

“Grand Fire Technique: Grand Sky Volcano” said Tomoro as he closed his eyes and began to charge a lot of matter into the sky.

 

“WHAT! NO!” said Nemesis as he jumped towards Tomoro.

 

Tomoro swiftly extends his sword towards Nemesis and from the sword he shoots a lightning ray which hit Nemesis directly stopping him in his tracks for a few seconds.

 

“It is too late! He has charged enough matter! I will not be able to resist the impact!” thought Nemesis as his face showed a scared face.

The Capital Forces suddenly stopped attacking. No soldier would move and the catapults had stopped. The force shield also fell.

 

“What is going on?” said Amy as she looked at all the forces stop.

Behind Tomoro, in the skies a huge red ring appeared. From it the clouds formed the cone of a volcano. Inside that cone it began to shine in a red-orange color.

 

“Die now” said Tomoro as he closed his fist. The sky volcano exploded sending a blast of magma and fire towards Nemesis. It was a huge blast. The blast passed through Tomoro like nothing. He wasn't affected by it as it fell.

 

“Wing Transformation: Hands!” said Nemesis. His wings suddenly took the shape of two giant hands.

 

He charged matter and created a force shield around him.

 

“You will not live this.. friend” said Tomoro as all he could look in front of him was a huge red ball of fire and magma.

 

“COME!” said Nemesis as he got ready to receive the impact. His two giant hands are the first to stop the attack. Slowly the hands begin to move back.

 

“Frozen Hands!” said Nemesis as his hands turned to Ice.

 

With his normal hands he then held the grand ball. He struggled for a while. But eventually, after a lot of struggle, he collapsed. A huge yell is heard as the ball falls towards the ground.

 

“Earth's Grand Upper Floor!!” yelled Tomoro.

 

Four giant pillars appeared from the ground. Some buildings were destroyed. They raised to a certain limit, all of them leveled. Then from atop the pillars the earth began to move. In a few seconds it had formed a new floor made of earth, held by the four pillars, above all the buildings below. It was meant to protect the Castle, the An Church and other buildings surrounding that area.

 

“Holy Ground!” said Tomoro.

 

The new floor of earth began to glow in light. In a few seconds Nemesis and the ball of fire and magma crashed atop the holy floor of earth that Tomoro had created. A huge explosion takes place. A pillar of smoke, cloud and dust raises to the skies. A huge impact wave destroyed very tall buildings far away that were not protected by the holy floor of earth.

Roshika and Shozen had stopped running to look at the floor of earth that had formed.

 

“Yes, Tomoro is fighting against someone else” said Roshika.

 

“The Lord of the Dabus definitely” replied Shozen.

 

“He made that floor to protect the castle, buildings and the church, and all people living below it.” said Roshika.

 

“He had to gamble. He had to use a powerful attack to defeat that man. If he had not created that holy floor then it would have been useless as thousands would have been killed along with the Emperor.” said Shozen.

 

“We must go ahead. Let's save the Emperor. It's barely a few minutes away” said Roshika while still staring at the floor.

 

“Let's go” said Shozen.

“What the...” said Amy surprised.

 

The forces fighting were not protected by the floor, but they saw how everything happened and how the impact wave had passed above them.

 

“Incredible” said Samari surprised as she looked at the events that just took place.

 

“Leader Tomoro is really powerful” said Nakaru still surprised.

 

“No way...” said Neiki surprised as well.

 

“Grandpa... are you alright?” thought Amy as she tried to find Tomoro in the skies.

 

Meanwhile the Capital Forces were waking up from the mind control Nemesis put on them.

“No way...” said Sandou as he looked at the ground above him.

 

“We just witnessed a ultra-level attack and technique” said Nyosuke.

 

“He protected everyone with the ground from the blast” said Shana still surprised.

 

“That's my Leader!” thought Sandou.
