When the hero’s arrived at there destination it was obvious that a battle was already in progress. An enormous explosion rocked the mountain side as fire erupted and incinerated numerous demons that were attacking the mountain.

“Heh, look’s like Mike’s been keeping himself buys.” Lyle smirked. “Might as well give him a hand.”
Suddenly black bat wings erupted from Lyle’s back as his skin became black and his hands turned into talons. He swung his sword around him and rested it on his back as he allowed himself to once again become infused with his element turning his body to pure electricity. Lyle then jumped off of Jamie’s platform and dive bombed the demons below him. When he landed he struck the ground with his left hand, the resulting force sent lightning coursing through all the enemies around him. The one’s that weren’t killed by the voltage were soon left in pieces by Lyle’s sword attack.

Sasuka launched himself off of the platform and landed with his back to Lyle.

“Heh, now it’s my turn.” Sasuka smirked as he stood before a large amount of demons. Lyle guarded Sasuka’s back as Sasuka clapped his hands together and charged energy through them. Suddenly Sasuka disappeared! Lyle turned to see what happened only to catch a glimpse of the demons that Sasuka was supposed to be fighting, being sliced to pieces by some unseen force.

“What the hell?” Lyle said as he decapitated another demon but still had a confused look on his face.

“Like it?” Sasuka said from behind Lyle as he gasped for air. “Turning your entire body into air takes a lot out of you.”

“Show off, now look what you’ve done.” Ashley yelled as she and Jamie cleared the demons away from the two boys.

“No time for hot shots right now. Let’s find Michael and get out of here.” Jamie said as she decapitated three demons with a flick of her wrist.

“Yeah well we won’t be able to do that until we get rid of these.” Lyle said pointed to more demons that seemed to appear out of nowhere.

“Leave that to me.” Jamie said. She raised both her hands out from her body as she channeled energy to her hands. Suddenly from in front of her the ground started to move, golems made of earth were being formed by Jamie!

“Holy Hell!” Lyle exclaimed as a golem appeared out from under him. “Shit, how long have you been able to create these?”

“For a while actually. It’s easy once you get the hang of it. These guys should be able to hold them off long enough for us to find Mike.” Jamie said after she had created about twenty golems.

“Awesome, let’s go!” Ashley exclaimed.

When they reached the top of the mountain Ashley had to redirect a fire blast that almost incinerated them.

“Michael you idiot! You almost hit us!” Jamie yelled.

“You really need to work on your aim.” Ashley joked as she played with the fire in mid air. Finally she tossed the flame aside where it incinerated a demon that had got close to them.

“Jamo, Ashley...that really you guys?” Michael asked. When he stepped out of the shadow’s everyone gasped at how he looked. Michael wasn’t wearing a shirt due to the fact that the upper part of his body was completely metal! His hands were glowing red as fire swirled around them. He was also wearing baggy black pants with a red cover around them.

“Whoa, what the hell happened to you?” Lyle asked as he got a good look at Michael.
“Hmm, now that’s someone I didn’t miss.” Michael said as he formed a spear and without even looking stabbed a demon behind him. “Well if you must know, I’ve been experimenting more with my powers. I created this body armor to protect me. It’s one of the levels of element manipulation.”

“That’s nice, but now we need to get out of here.” Jamie said as she created another large platform for everyone to ride on.

“Right, let’s go.” Sasuka ordered as he, Lyle, and Ashley jumped onto the platform.

“You coming?” Ashley asked as they noticed Michael’s hesitation.

“This is my home, I can’t leave it.” Michael said finally.

“Michael, listen there’s no point in staying. These demons are taking over everything. The only way to stop it is to gather everyone and find out who opened the portal to the demon realm.” Lyle replied.

“Still...”Michael continued being stubborn.

“Michael you should be ashamed of yourself.” Jamie said finally. “What the hell do you think Alex would say if he were to be here? Knowing him he’d laugh at you for being so damn stubborn of a piece of land. Listen, you’ve got three seconds to get on here or we’re leaving without you.”

Michael looked as if she had just slapped him. Everyone else looked on in shock too as Jamie turned her back to all of them.

“You all have the choice of wether or not to fight. This isn’t like last time, I know that. We’re on our own this time. He’s not coming back...so if you want to live your last few days on earth doing what you want, I won’t blame you.”

“Jamie quit trying to be so noble.” Michael said from behind her as he got onto the platform. “If your in such a hurry to leave, then lets leave.”

Jamie turned around and smiled weakly as she lifted the platform high into the air. Michael noticed the demons over running the temple he had been training at and stood at the edge of the platform.

“Jamie stop for a second.” Michael said. Just as Jamie stopped Michael closed his eyes and brought his right hand up to his lips. “Dragon’s Breath!”

With this Michael breathed out enormous amounts of fire, that soon appeared to have a mind of its own as it swept through the temple incinerating all the demons.

“IT won’t keep them from taking the temple, but at least this way they won’t forget who trained there.” Michael said with a cocky grin as he sat down. “Now, let’s see who’s all missing. Hmm, so we still need Sara, Ryku, and Aurora. Well now, who’s next?”

“Next we get Sara.” Sasuka answered.

“Yeah, that way she can explain these elemental levels of yours.” Ashley added.

“Hey, I can explain it.” Michael argued defensively.

“Yeah, but you see, we actually want to do it right. Hence the reason we’re getting Sara.” Lyle quipped.

“Well, I guess it will be nice to visit the Ice Maiden Shrine. Different scenery might do me some good.” Michael said as he relaxed and created him a metal back rest to try and get some sleep.
