“Okay guys, show time. Everyone ready?” Alex asked. The tension was thick, everyone was wondering what would await them when they arrived. No one knew what was going to happen, and everyone was dreading what they were about to do, but despite all that everyone still knew that had to do it.
“Okay Ryku, let’s do it.” Alex said firmly. He too was nervous but he knew better than to let his friends know.
“Whatever you say” Ryku said as he closed his eyes and black ord appeared before him, it grew enveloping him and everyone there. Then it disappeared with a flash, as did everyone who was standing there.
Everyone reappeared in a barren wasteland. Nothing was there as far as the eye could see.
“Umm Ryku are you sure you have the right place” Ashley asked.
“This is it. Trust me” Michael quickly stated.”The entrance is protected by a barrier. It’ll take some time to break it.”
“No it won’t” Alex replied as he his sword appeared in his hands.
“Alex...is it just me or has your sword changed shape” Sasuka asked.
‘Yes...while I’ve been gone I learned a new technique with my sword. I’ve untapped but just a portion of its true power. I met someone who explained to me just some of the powers of this sword. The more I learn about it, the stronger it becomes. Also its shape changes as it becomes deadlier. It has the power of sealing. With it I can seal someone’s powers, or I could seal their movement, so they can’t move a muscle. Also I can seal away barriers.” Alex said with a smirk as he looked in front of him.
“Now HEAVEN’S JUDGEMENT SEAL OF DISPERSION” Alex yelled as his sword glowed a bright white temporarily blinding everyone. When they could see again what laid before them was an immense valley. The valleys floor seemed to be moving.
“It can’t be...there’s so many demons.” Sasuka said.
“I can sense their power from here” Ashley exclaimed.
“We told you, coming here wasn’t a good idea. They’re even stronger than I remember” Ryku said.
“Yeah but we’re a whole lot stronger to” Aurora said.
“Yeah, and I think it’s time we paid these suckers back for all the friends they killed” Michael exclaimed with an evil glint in his eyes as he made a huge sword of metal appear.” This is going to be fun”
“You must be crazy” Sasuka said “Alex there’s no way we can survive fighting all those demons”
“Your right fighting all of them would be crazy” Alex said with a smirk “Let me lighten the load for you” Suddenly Alex began to glow and angel wings appeared on his back.
“ARCHANGELS TRINITY BLAST” Alex yelled as he launched his ultimate attack at the demons. In an instant a large portion of the demon army had been vaporized, but still thousands remained..
*I had no idea Alex had that much power. It’s as if he’s shielding his true energy, because I can barely read his power level, or for that matter his emotions.* Sasuka thought.
“Okay now it’s our turn” Ashley yelled as she held drew two daggers from her waist and launched an attack on the demons.
“SONIC ARROW” Ashley yelled as she launched sound waves at the enemies knocking them back and then slaughtering them with her weapons. She then started spinning around launching sonic blades all around her, decapitating the demons that had surrounded. Ashley then launched herself forwards slicing and dicing any demons that got in her way. She then launched both her blades forward and controlled them with her mind as they flew threw the air assaulting some demons in front of her. The one’s that got too close for comfort she demolished with energy blasts. Finally one demon got past her attacks and was about to strike her when he found himself impaled by both of Ashley’s daggers. Ashley then grabbed the handle of each of the blades and pulled them out sideways, cutting the demon in half.
“Wow she’s grown a lot stronger” Alex commented.
“Yeah your not the only one that’s learned some new tricks” Sasuka said as he grabbed a card an charged it with energy “OBLIVION” yelled Sasuka as he launched the card. When it hit the ground it erupted killing numerous demons. Sasuka then launched his circular blade towards the demons that hadn’t been vanquished. The blade hovered right in the middle of them. Suddenly the demons started flying backwards and exploding! Energized cards were being launched from the spinning blade destroying all the demons encircling it. Before the dust settled Sasuka launched himself into the fray. He created a wind shield which sliced any demons that got too close to him, and then started assaulting the ones that hadn’t been destroyed with his other blade. A demon tried to get the best of him by circling around and attacking him from behind, but was immediately felled by Sasuka’s other blade which decapitated him and came flying back into Sasuka’s hand, due to his mental command.
“FROZEN TUNDRA” Sara yelled as she summoned all her energy freezing demons and halting them dead in their tracks. She then launched an ice blade out of her staff cutting all the frozen demons in half. As more came she launched ice spikes from the sky and ground killing a good amount of them. As the demons came within striking distance Sara channeled her power of ice through her staff. Suddenly a large, curved ice spike formed at the end of her staff, turning it into an ice scythe. She also created her a shield of ice, which formed armor over her body made of ice with pointy spikes coming off of it. As the first demons got to her, Sara started twirling, lunging, tossing, and striking all the demons around her, killing them instantly. She continued with this until no demons around her still stood.
“RAIN OF A THOUSAND BLADES” Michael said as metal spikes launched toward some demons, as the spikes fell, so did the demons, impaled by the metallic bearers of death. Michael then launched a thin, stringy looking piece of metal from his fingers. The metallic string pierced thru and enemies chest, it continued elongating striking enemy after enemy. Finally while all the enemies were ensnared by Michael’s trap. Then Michael placed his other hand over the thin wire. The wire suddenly began to glow right red.
“Now, Chain Burst...EXPLOSION!” Michael said, and then demon after demon began to exploded into a flaming ball of death.
“Now its my turn GRAVITATIONAL VORTEX” Aurora said as she used her power over gravity to crush a huge group of demons. She then destroyed some demons that were getting too close for comfort with her double sided spear, decapitating one, and stabbing the others. She also started launching blades of wind at her opponents cutting most of them in half. A demon jumped up into the air trying to strike Aurora from behind, when suddenly he fell towards the ground hard cracking his skull. All the demons in front of Aurora were also affected by her increasing the gravity surrounding her. The demons were unable to move due to the drastic increase and were basically frozen in place. Aurora then summoned a huge vortex of wind, which dispatched all the demons affected by her gravity blast.
“Leave the rest to me TURBULENT VOID” Ryku said as a black orb appeared in a group of demons.
“Idiot you can’t teleport these demons.” Michael yelled.
“I’m not teleporting the demons” Ryku said with a smile suddenly from the void came a violent tunnel of wind ripping the demons apart. Before the demons that weren’t destroyed could react Ryku had teleported down there and slaughtered the rest with quick and merciless attacks.
“Good that’s enough” Alex said as his sword disappeared and his hands began to glow. He looked towards the remaining demons noting that still over half of the demon army remained.
“What’s up man.” Sasuka said “We’re actually winning”
“I’m sorry” Alex replied.
“Huh what!” suddenly Alex appeared behind Sasuka and knocked him out. He quickly dispatched the rest of the members to. The remaining demons came and took their bodies to the underground portion of the Valley.
*Uh, my head is killing me what happened* Sasuka thought to himself as he awoke. What awaited him was something he didn’t want. Their standing before him was Alex!
“Alex what’s going on why did you attack us” Sasuka yelled immediately.
“No point in asking. This isn’t our Alex, he’s being controlled by Death some how” an unknown voice said.
“Jamie...it is you Jamie are you okay” Sasuka asked quickly.
“Yes I’m fine it’s great to see you guys again...I just wish it was under better circumstances” Jamie replied sadly.
“While you’ve been out Death has been saying something about making Alex the ultimate evil” Michael said “I don’t know how but we have to get out of here. These restraints are somehow canceling my powers. Any of you guys have any ideas.”
“Nope none. Jamie why don’t you fill us in on all that’s happened since you’ve been missing.” Ashley asked.
“Well, that night I was supposed to meet Alex at a restaurant, but I was ambushed by someone and the next thing I know I woke up here. That’s when Death revealed to me his plan. Remember when Alex first fought him and Shadow gave him some of his energy to heal him? Well, when he did he put some of his dark energy into him. Over time it’s grown stronger. And here where the dark energy is stronger it allows Death to control him. Death said he awakened the dark part of Alex’s heart. And if he can complete something Alex will become a demon.”
“Your so correct my dear” Death said as he came out.” And now with everyone here I’m about to do just that.”
“What do you mean. There’s no way you can make Alex a demon.” Sasuka said.
“Oh but there is. You see this here is my dimension. When we first fought you ruined my plans of breaking the seal to the Demon World, but I found another way. You see, when you fought Azrael all that energy went to the seal, which in turn allowed me to break it. Where we are now is the nexus between the two realms. The dark desires of the heart make the dark energy nearly unstoppable. Alex’s desire was to become stronger so that he could kill me and protect the one he loves. It was so simple to control him. All I had to do was offer him power. I gave it to him, but unbeknownst to him I controlled him through it. The only thing left to do is complete his transformation.” Death then walked towards Alex and placed both his hands on Alex’s shoulders. Death was transferring more dark energy to Alex. When Death released his grip on him, Alex began to shake and squirm as if in pain. His eyes, began to glow red, and he grew taller, his arms grew longer, and his hands turned into talons. Strange markings appeared on his face, and his teeth turned into fangs. Alex’s wings turned to black bat wings like the ones of Death.
“Now he is almost complete, but to reach the peak of his power...he must destroy the one he loves and drink her blood.” Death said with an evil grin.” Alex attack Jamie!”
“No! There’s no way Alex could ever do something like that. Not even you could make him do that” Ashley yelled thru tears.
“Alex don’t do it man come on fight him” Ryku encouraged.
“Alex don’t let him control you. Your stronger than he is. Don’t let him use you” Michael said.
“Please don’t” Sara begged.
“Jamie listen to me. He won’t listen to us. You’re the only one that can reach him now. It’s up to you” Sasuka said calmly.
“Alex please don’t. I know you don’t want to do this.” Jamie said pleadingly as Alex loomed over her. She stared into his glowing red eyes, seeing only hate and anger. Not at all the eyes she had first seen, filled with compassion , care, and hurt.
“Heh your voices can’t reach him now. His heart belongs to darkness. And believe it or not, I’m sure Alex actually enjoys this. You see I can tell what he’s thinking, and right now he’s thinking about all the times you’ve hurt him. About how even though he loves you with his very heart and soul, you continually reject him. As soon as he kills you, he will belong completely to me!” Death said.
*I can’t believe it...he’s right. All the times I’ve hurt him, and everything I’ve done. I wouldn’t doubt that he could kill me. But I still can’t bring myself to believe that he would actually want to. He cares too much. Wait...if he loves me with his heart and soul. Then there’s a chance I can reach him.* Jamie thought as Alex raised his talon hand. Alex grabber her by her throat, squeezing tightly.
“Alex please don’t. Your strong enough with out his help. I like you how you are. Alex I love you!” Jamie said just as the taloned hand pierced her throat. It stopped before it did any major damage. And just for a second Jamie noticed his eyes flicker, from red to blue. She could tell Alex was hesitant at what to do.
“No don’t listen to her she’s just lying ATTACK HER!” Death screamed. Seeing that Alex wasn’t budging he summoned some demons to attack Jamie.
“Even if he doesn’t kill her if he drinks her blood he will belong to me” Death yelled. A huge black demon swiped Jamie across the chest sending the blood on Alex’s face and mouth.
“Aaaah” Jamie screamed in pain as she began to cry, not because of the pain, but because she saw Alex’s eyes glow blood red. As he knelt to the ground in pain.
“Aaaargh” Alex yelled as his hands gripped his shoulders in pain. His talons changed back to their normal shape and him and his arms returned to their original form. His fangs disappeared replaced by his normal teeth. His hair turned white and his wings remained black. Also his power greatly increased. Alex stood up with his hands still on his shoulders.
“Yes, you are now mine body and soul. Now I order you to kill them all. Starting with the girl” Death said pointing at Jamie.
“no...” Alex said quietly.
“What did you say”
“I said no” Alex replied raising his head. His eyes glowed with power. But his eyes were not red, they were light blue. Alex threw his arms off his shoulders, and his black wings disappeared replaced by glowing white ones.
“Aaargh the light. No, how can this be. You were supposed to turn into a demon. How could you not be changed.” Death questioned.
“Oh I am changed. Just not the way you predicted it. Your dark energy may have turned me evil, but the love of my friends brought me back from the brink of darkness. With the power that you yourself gave me I was able to break free from your control. And in that instant I was changed. I became my ultimate form. You controlled me, you made me hurt my friends, you hurt Jamie, and you tried, to make me kill my friends.” Alex said thru clenched teeth “You...you controlled me, you made me hurt those innocent people...you made me hurt JAMIE! I will make you pay for all these. “ and with that Alex disappeared from in front of Death and reappeared next to Jamie.
“I’m so sorry. You were hurt because of me. Here let me heal you.” Alex said as he put his hand over her wound and tried to heal it, but before he could Death appeared behind him.
“Alex watch out!” Michael yelled. When Alex turned around just in time to get knocked clear across the room by Death.
“I don’t know how you were able to resist the change. But that doesn’t matter now because I will kill you” Death screamed as he summoned his sword and started attacking Alex. Alex was dodging the attacks with ease until Death disappeared from in front of him. He then reappeared and blasted Alex from behind. Alex immediately flipped off a wall and blocked a sword attack from Death, only to hit by another energy attack. Alex charged again and this time was able to parry Death’s sword and get in an energy attack of his own. Even though the attack didn’t even faze Death, Death seemed hesitant to continue his assault. Quickly Alex launched another attack at Death but before his blade struck him Death simply disappeared.
“Huh, shit looks like he got away for now. “ Alex said, oblivious to the fact that Death wasn’t injured by Alex’s attack “Well before he gets back let me free you guys.” with that Alex walked towards Sasuka first and destroyed the restraint around Sasuka’s right arm.
“Thanks good to have you back man” Sasuka said.
“Glad to be back” Alex replied when suddenly he was stabbed thru the chest with a sword.
“Shouldn’t have let your guard down hero. You never know when someone might strike you from behind.” Death said with vengeance.
“Arrgh” Alex screamed in pain. Suddenly Death began putting more dark energy into Alex.
“You will obey me. You will become a demon.” Death said as Alex started to transform again.
“No I can’t...not again” Alex said
“I’ve got to hurry and get these restraints off “ Sasuka said quickly he used his free hand to destroy his other hands restraint. *If Alex changes again she’s the only person that will be able to change him back*
With that Sasuka destroys all of Jamie’s restraints, freeing her and awakening her powers.
“Thanks Sasuka” Jamie said weakly because of the blood loss she had incurred do to the demons attack. *Alex has always been there when I needed him. He gave up his very humanity to try to save me. Now it’s my turn to save him.* Jamie thought as her whip appeared in her hands.
“Aaaargh” Alex screamed in agony. The dark energy coursing through his veins were hurting him, do to his angelic form.
“Heh, if I can’t have you I’ll KILL YOU!” Death said evilly when all of a sudden he was attacked from behind.
“Leave him alone.” Jamie said as she launched another attack at Death slashing him across the back with her whip and pummeling him with boulders.
“You wench I should’ve killed you when I had the chance”
Death release his grip on Alex long enough to try to attack Jamie. Death launched an energy blast of tremendous power at her. Only to have it blocked by a metal shield.
“Huh what, curse you it wasn’t supposed to be like this” Death screamed, as he noticed that all his hostages were now free and ready for vengeance.
“You will pay for all the lives you took. I will make sure of that” Michael yelled as fire erupted around him.
“You don’t stand a chance” Sasuka said with an air of confidence.
“Heh maybe your right. But if I were you I wouldn’t get to cocky I still have Alex within my grasp” with that Death turned around to see Jamie next to Alex making sure he was ok.
“No get away from him” Death screamed.
“You’ll have to get through us first” Ryku yelled as everyone got in between Death and Alex
“Easier done than said” Death summoned his sword and attacked the heros surrounding him. Michael launched flaming spears at Death but wasn’t able to make contact with any. Even Ryku’s Turbulent Void wasn’t able to touch him. Death teleported behind Aurora and sent her flying with an energy blast to the back. He dodged Sara’s attack and with a lightning fast motion grabbed her by the neck and launched her at Ryku sending them both flying towards a wall. Death then launched an energy blast at Michael and even though he was able to deflect the attack Death was upon him and in an instant knocked Michael to the ground with an energy filled orb. Death quickly turned around to face Sasuka. He launched himself at Sasuka who was barely able to dodge the attack and even though he dodged the initial attack the after shock of it knocked him backwards. He quickly got up only to find Death standing before him charging up for a powerful energy attack.
“Fools do you really believe you can defeat me.”
“Probably not, but I’m sure he can” Sasuka said as he pointed behind Death.
“What are you...oh no” Death said as he turned around to see Alex standing there, his eyes burning with power and anger.
“ I’ve had enough with you Death. You won’t hurt anyone anymore! This ends here” Alex yelled in anger. His power shoving everyone back, it even made Death’s stance falter.
* This is ridiculous. The dark energy I gave him is making him stronger. This isn’t what I had in mind.* Death thought as he readied himself. He had made the mistake of giving Alex too much energy of his own energy. Now since Alex wasn’t under his control Alex had a great deal of Death’s energy and Death was partially weakened due to giving his energy to Alex.
“Your right. This will end here.” Death said gleaming “I would like to introduce you to an old friend of yours, you remember Lyle don’t you.”
“Huh what do you mean by that?” Sasuka asked impatiently.
“You see before Lyle was so rudely killed I teleported him, and filled him with dark energy. Just because I couldn’t have you doesn’t mean I will be without anything.” Suddenly out of nowhere everyone was knocked back by a tremendous surge of energy.
“What the hell was that?” Michael yelled, when suddenly he gets picked up by some unseen force and launched across the room.
“Alex give us some light so we can see what’s going on” Sasuka said.
“Right,” Alex said as he launched a ring of fire around them giving an eerie look to the place. “Oy that’s pretty sad I didn’t think the Valley of Death could get much more creepier.”
“Argh, Death escaped again. But who attacked us” Michael declared ready to pay back the person that hit him.
“Why do try so hard to find what’s right under your noses” A voice said.
“Huh what” Ashley said as suddenly Lyle appeared before everyone.

“I’m sorry” Alex replied.
“Huh what!” suddenly Alex appeared behind Sasuka and knocked him out. He quickly dispatched the rest of the members to. The remaining demons came and took their bodies to the underground portion of the Valley.
*Uh, my head is killing me what happened* Sasuka thought to himself as he awoke. What awaited him was something he didn’t want. Their standing before him was Alex!
“Alex what’s going on why did you attack us” Sasuka yelled immediately.
“No point in asking. This isn’t our Alex, he’s being controlled by Death some how” an unknown voice said.
“Jamie...it is you Jamie are you okay” Sasuka asked quickly.
“Yes I’m fine it’s great to see you guys again...I just wish it was under better circumstances” Jamie replied sadly.
“While you’ve been out Death has been saying something about making Alex the ultimate evil” Michael said “I don’t know how but we have to get out of here. These restraints are somehow canceling my powers. Any of you guys have any ideas.”
“Nope none. Jamie why don’t you fill us in on all that’s happened since you’ve been missing.” Ashley asked.
“Well, that night I was supposed to meet Alex at a restaurant, but I was ambushed by someone and the next thing I know I woke up here. That’s when Death revealed to me his plan. Remember when Alex first fought him and Shadow gave him some of his energy to heal him? Well, when he did he put some of his dark energy into him. Over time it’s grown stronger. And here where the dark energy is stronger it allows Death to control him. Death said he awakened the dark part of Alex’s heart. And if he can complete something Alex will become a demon.”
“Your so correct my dear” Death said as he came out.” And now with everyone here I’m about to do just that.”
“What do you mean. There’s no way you can make Alex a demon.” Sasuka said.
“Oh but there is. You see this here is my dimension. When we first fought you ruined my plans of breaking the seal to the Demon World, but I found another way. You see, when you fought Azrael all that energy went to the seal, which in turn allowed me to break it. Where we are now is the nexus between the two realms. The dark desires of the heart make the dark energy nearly unstoppable. Alex’s desire was to become stronger so that he could kill me and protect the one he loves. It was so simple to control him. All I had to do was offer him power. I gave it to him, but unbeknownst to him I controlled him through it. The only thing left to do is complete his transformation.” Death then walked towards Alex and placed both his hands on Alex’s shoulders. Death was transferring more dark energy to Alex. When Death released his grip on him, Alex began to shake and squirm as if in pain. His eyes, began to glow red, and he grew taller, his arms grew longer, and his hands turned into talons. Strange markings appeared on his face, and his teeth turned into fangs. Alex’s wings turned to black bat wings like the ones of Death.
“Now he is almost complete, but to reach the peak of his power...he must destroy the one he loves and drink her blood.” Death said with an evil grin.” Alex attack Jamie!”
“No! There’s no way Alex could ever do something like that. Not even you could make him do that” Ashley yelled thru tears.
“Alex don’t do it man come on fight him” Ryku encouraged.
“Alex don’t let him control you. Your stronger than he is. Don’t let him use you” Michael said.
“Please don’t” Sara begged.
“Jamie listen to me. He won’t listen to us. You’re the only one that can reach him now. It’s up to you” Sasuka said calmly.
“Alex please don’t. I know you don’t want to do this.” Jamie said pleadingly as Alex loomed over her. She stared into his glowing red eyes, seeing only hate and anger. Not at all the eyes she had first seen, filled with compassion , care, and hurt.
“Heh your voices can’t reach him now. His heart belongs to darkness. And believe it or not, I’m sure Alex actually enjoys this. You see I can tell what he’s thinking, and right now he’s thinking about all the times you’ve hurt him. About how even though he loves you with his very heart and soul, you continually reject him. As soon as he kills you, he will belong completely to me!” Death said.
*I can’t believe it...he’s right. All the times I’ve hurt him, and everything I’ve done. I wouldn’t doubt that he could kill me. But I still can’t bring myself to believe that he would actually want to. He cares too much. Wait...if he loves me with his heart and soul. Then there’s a chance I can reach him.* Jamie thought as Alex raised his talon hand. Alex grabber her by her throat, squeezing tightly.
“Alex please don’t. Your strong enough with out his help. I like you how you are. Alex I love you!” Jamie said just as the taloned hand pierced her throat. It stopped before it did any major damage. And just for a second Jamie noticed his eyes flicker, from red to blue. She could tell Alex was hesitant at what to do.
“No don’t listen to her she’s just lying ATTACK HER!” Death screamed. Seeing that Alex wasn’t budging he summoned some demons to attack Jamie.
“Even if he doesn’t kill her if he drinks her blood he will belong to me” Death yelled. A huge black demon swiped Jamie across the chest sending the blood on Alex’s face and mouth.
“Aaaah” Jamie screamed in pain as she began to cry, not because of the pain, but because she saw Alex’s eyes glow blood red. As he knelt to the ground in pain.
“Aaaargh” Alex yelled as his hands gripped his shoulders in pain. His talons changed back to their normal shape and him and his arms returned to their original form. His fangs disappeared replaced by his normal teeth. His hair turned white and his wings remained black. Also his power greatly increased. Alex stood up with his hands still on his shoulders.
“Yes, you are now mine body and soul. Now I order you to kill them all. Starting with the girl” Death said pointing at Jamie.
“no...” Alex said quietly.
“What did you say”
“I said no” Alex replied raising his head. His eyes glowed with power. But his eyes were not red, they were light blue. Alex threw his arms off his shoulders, and his black wings disappeared replaced by glowing white ones.
“Aaargh the light. No, how can this be. You were supposed to turn into a demon. How could you not be changed.” Death questioned.
“Oh I am changed. Just not the way you predicted it. Your dark energy may have turned me evil, but the love of my friends brought me back from the brink of darkness. With the power that you yourself gave me I was able to break free from your control. And in that instant I was changed. I became my ultimate form. You controlled me, you made me hurt my friends, you hurt Jamie, and you tried, to make me kill my friends.” Alex said thru clenched teeth “You...you controlled me, you made me hurt those innocent people...you made me hurt JAMIE! I will make you pay for all these. “ and with that Alex disappeared from in front of Death and reappeared next to Jamie.
“I’m so sorry. You were hurt because of me. Here let me heal you.” Alex said as he put his hand over her wound and tried to heal it, but before he could Death appeared behind him.
“Alex watch out!” Michael yelled. When Alex turned around just in time to get knocked clear across the room by Death.
“I don’t know how you were able to resist the change. But that doesn’t matter now because I will kill you” Death screamed as he summoned his sword and started attacking Alex. Alex was dodging the attacks with ease until Death disappeared from in front of him. He then reappeared and blasted Alex from behind. Alex immediately flipped off a wall and blocked a sword attack from Death, only to hit by another energy attack. Alex charged again and this time was able to parry Death’s sword and get in an energy attack of his own. Even though the attack didn’t even faze Death, Death seemed hesitant to continue his assault. Quickly Alex launched another attack at Death but before his blade struck him Death simply disappeared.
“Huh, shit looks like he got away for now. “ Alex said, oblivious to the fact that Death wasn’t injured by Alex’s attack “Well before he gets back let me free you guys.” with that Alex walked towards Sasuka first and destroyed the restraint around Sasuka’s right arm.
“Thanks good to have you back man” Sasuka said.
“Glad to be back” Alex replied when suddenly he was stabbed thru the chest with a sword.
“Shouldn’t have let your guard down hero. You never know when someone might strike you from behind.” Death said with vengeance.
“Arrgh” Alex screamed in pain. Suddenly Death began putting more dark energy into Alex.
“You will obey me. You will become a demon.” Death said as Alex started to transform again.
“No I can’t...not again” Alex said
“I’ve got to hurry and get these restraints off “ Sasuka said quickly he used his free hand to destroy his other hands restraint. *If Alex changes again she’s the only person that will be able to change him back*
With that Sasuka destroys all of Jamie’s restraints, freeing her and awakening her powers.
“Thanks Sasuka” Jamie said weakly because of the blood loss she had incurred do to the demons attack. *Alex has always been there when I needed him. He gave up his very humanity to try to save me. Now it’s my turn to save him.* Jamie thought as her whip appeared in her hands.
“Aaaargh” Alex screamed in agony. The dark energy coursing through his veins were hurting him, do to his angelic form.
“Heh, if I can’t have you I’ll KILL YOU!” Death said evilly when all of a sudden he was attacked from behind.
“Leave him alone.” Jamie said as she launched another attack at Death slashing him across the back with her whip and pummeling him with boulders.
“You wench I should’ve killed you when I had the chance”
Death release his grip on Alex long enough to try to attack Jamie. Death launched an energy blast of tremendous power at her. Only to have it blocked by a metal shield.
“Huh what, curse you it wasn’t supposed to be like this” Death screamed, as he noticed that all his hostages were now free and ready for vengeance.
“You will pay for all the lives you took. I will make sure of that” Michael yelled as fire erupted around him.
“You don’t stand a chance” Sasuka said with an air of confidence.
“Heh maybe your right. But if I were you I wouldn’t get to cocky I still have Alex within my grasp” with that Death turned around to see Jamie next to Alex making sure he was ok.
“No get away from him” Death screamed.
“You’ll have to get through us first” Ryku yelled as everyone got in between Death and Alex
“Easier done than said” Death summoned his sword and attacked the heros surrounding him. Michael launched flaming spears at Death but wasn’t able to make contact with any. Even Ryku’s Turbulent Void wasn’t able to touch him. Death teleported behind Aurora and sent her flying with an energy blast to the back. He dodged Sara’s attack and with a lightning fast motion grabbed her by the neck and launched her at Ryku sending them both flying towards a wall. Death then launched an energy blast at Michael and even though he was able to deflect the attack Death was upon him and in an instant knocked Michael to the ground with an energy filled orb. Death quickly turned around to face Sasuka. He launched himself at Sasuka who was barely able to dodge the attack and even though he dodged the initial attack the after shock of it knocked him backwards. He quickly got up only to find Death standing before him charging up for a powerful energy attack.
“Fools do you really believe you can defeat me.”
“Probably not, but I’m sure he can” Sasuka said as he pointed behind Death.
“What are you...oh no” Death said as he turned around to see Alex standing there, his eyes burning with power and anger.
“ I’ve had enough with you Death. You won’t hurt anyone anymore! This ends here” Alex yelled in anger. His power shoving everyone back, it even made Death’s stance falter.
* This is ridiculous. The dark energy I gave him is making him stronger. This isn’t what I had in mind.* Death thought as he readied himself. He had made the mistake of giving Alex too much energy of his own energy. Now since Alex wasn’t under his control Alex had a great deal of Death’s energy and Death was partially weakened due to giving his energy to Alex.
“Your right. This will end here.” Death said gleaming “I would like to introduce you to an old friend of yours, you remember Lyle don’t you.”
“Huh what do you mean by that?” Sasuka asked impatiently.
“You see before Lyle was so rudely killed I teleported him, and filled him with dark energy. Just because I couldn’t have you doesn’t mean I will be without anything.” Suddenly out of nowhere everyone was knocked back by a tremendous surge of energy.
“What the hell was that?” Michael yelled, when suddenly he gets picked up by some unseen force and launched across the room.
“Alex give us some light so we can see what’s going on” Sasuka said.
“Right,” Alex said as he launched a ring of fire around them giving an eerie look to the place. “Oy that’s pretty sad I didn’t think the Valley of Death could get much more creepier.”
“Argh, Death escaped again. But who attacked us” Michael declared ready to pay back the person that hit him.
“Why do try so hard to find what’s right under your noses” A voice said.
“Huh what” Ashley said as suddenly Lyle appeared before everyone.
“Lyle your alive!” Alex exclaimed.
