Chapter 11, (Triks POV) Hero of all things good.

"Who do you hunt for?" The strange mans attention snapped round to Cinsanati and studied him closely.

"I hunt for no-one I do it for the good of the people. I feel it is my duty to rid the world of scum, like him." He smiled happily, he obviously liked his job too much. "That seams very disrespectful a lady riding alone with a group of men." Chaos had obviously caught his eye.

"Not really, her father travels with her and it is very unlikely that any of us are going to court her." Cinsanati pointed out.

"Thanks Cinsanati you know how to make a girl feel good about them selves." Chaos glared at him mockingly. The man let a smirk play on his lips as Cinsanati shrugged and muttering something about not meaning to offend. The man managed to get on a low branch so he was in line with Chaos. He swept up her hand and kissed the top of it.

"My I introduce myself dear maiden. I am Haze defender of all, hero of many." At this point Blade and Max were close to falling off their horses with laughter, while Freedom was looking really annoyed. Cinsanati and Dragon didn't look too pleased though, hell knows why. Dragon rode his horse so he was between Haze and Chaos.

"That is no way to treat one of the falcon clan; you must treat her with more respect. You are very luck that she is not with others of her own clan or you would be in a large amount of pain right now." He didn't say anything to Freedom and he chucked her over his shoulder and scared the hell out of her. I guess it's different perhaps he knows her quite well.

"A falcon? A head from a falcon is a lot of money, but you never find them round here." Haze smiled.

"But that would be foolish as you are very out numbered, anyway she does not have the mark of a falcon and so you would have no proof." Cinsanati snarled and dismounted his horse.

"Very true, I shall just take my prize and go then." Haze grabbed Kristan and started dragging him to his horse but Cinsanati stood in his way.

"I will let you go alive only if you tell me who is paying for the death of the Clans and why?" Cinsanati insisted treacherously.

"I have no problem with that it is common knowledge that the king of this domain is paying 300 for each dead Clan member. But why, I not really sure some say that it is because he wishes to obtain sacred lands that belongs to the Clans. I do happen to know that falcons you get more money for as they are starting to build their army's up, as they believe the time of the 4 generals will arise soon. But that's all I know, I swear, so let me pass." Cinsanati nodded and stepped to one side, his brow lined in deep thought. As Haze mounted his horse with Kirsten and cantered off.

"The 4 generals, why would they think that… unless it is true, gods are walking on earth once more. Cinsanati we must go to the nearest ally of the lions, we need to find out what is going on." Dragon for once being quite out of character in the way he demanded Cinsanati. Cinsanati just grunted in reply and mounted his horse, he look disappointed and upset. He rode behind the ride for once and let Dragon lead, Chaos slowed down to talk to Cinsanati.

"You look troubled is it to do with these Generals?" Chaos inquired cautiously.

"That and other things, but it is more of the other things that bother me." He muttered miserably.

"What are the 4 generals?" Chaos tried to stick to the subject that he was less likely to get annoyed at.

"Earth, wind, water, fire. Lion, Falcon, Whale and Salamander. The gods will pick out a hero from each of those 4 clans. They with be leading the armies to defeat all evil in the world that is what is prophesised any way. If Humans are wiping out Clans then the gods will not be to pleased with it, you see every time a Clan dies so does the god of that Clan." He looked thoughtful for a minute.

"So will the Clans win?" Chaos asked.

"Yes. Of course they will, but it will be a long struggle as even with the beast and the magic the clans use they will still be out numbered. And then Clans will bicker between each other like they do. It is what happens after the war which you should be worried about the Clans will fight over the spoil lands that they have claimed." Cinsanati spat at the ground with disgust.

"Cinsanati, um… don't laugh if this is a stupid question, but why are there humans in this world?" Chaos looked away from his face nervous that he would laugh.

"Huh? You do ask a lot of questions don't you." He smiled. "Only the first born child inherits the Clan blood, normally it's its mothers Clan it inherits. After that they are normal and are kicked out as soon as they can look after themselves, but it is very rare for that to happen nowadays. Is there anything else you would like to know?"

"No that's all, thanks." Chaos blushed slightly.

"If there is don't hesitate to ask, like they say knowledge is power and power can lead to great things." He paused "But then again too much power can kill." He said coldly before kicking his horse on to catch up with Dragon. Freedom slowed down to walk with Chaos and smiled at her.

"Freedom what's upsetting Cinsanati so much?" Chaos looked at Cinsanati with concern. Freedom sighed, touched his heart and looked away dejectedly. Before looking back hopefully.

"His heart aches?" Chaos looked puzzled and freedom nodded enthusiastically. "and… they hurt him. I remember him doing that look whenever Blade is horrible to him." Freedom clapped and smiled at her, obviously pleased that she had understood him. It must be hard sometimes having no one that understands you, that must be why he clings so much to Cinsanati. Man this war thing is no good, if we're up against the likes of Dragon we ain't got a chance. I bet Dragon is the leader of the lions, his really powerful and stuff.

"Hey Max are you alright you've been quiet for ages. Which is really unlike you." I stare at Max who doesn't look happy to say the least.

"I'm so tired, my legs ache, my back aches, my arms ache. I am going to die a miserable death I can feel it. To sum that up I want to go home, I hate the outdoors, just take me home." He growled. "Do you want to know anything else?"

"Err I guess not. Well try to look on the bright-side we're heading towards civilization at least." He seamed to cheer up slightly, but not much.

"We will be there by the morning it's not far, we will rest at the start of the great plains before heading to the city. But please Max and you Blade don't try any thing." Dragon begged.

"Try what? What would I do to jeopardise our safety." Max looked confused as did Blade.

"Well you know…Umm." Dragon shifted his weight uncomfortably.

"You are not allowed to chat up any guys. No buts." Cinsanati glared at Max who looked devastated, "The Clans are very and I mean thrown in to prison if you do very strict on that law. Also you must remember that humans are killing off the Clans so they will be looking for any excuses to kill you so stay close to Dragon at all times. Freedom how do you fancy a bit of role-play, you know the, I'm you master and you're the slave so you do what I say." Cinsanati smiled as Freedom sighed and rolled his eyes. "I thought you'd like that idea, lets get some practice. Polish my saddle you pathetic human." Cinsanati laughed as Freedom growled at him in an annoyed fashion.
