Two figures appeared in the middle of the food court. One of the figures moved and someone screamed. Something flew through the air. When it landed and stopped rolling the Titans saw that it was a head.
“Titans,” Robin started.
Devin reeled and glared, “Stay out of this!”
Draco's sword appeared in his hand and Devin grew claws and his eyes started to glow. The two walked toward the figures who were butchering everyone they could. Devin pulled his hood up and smiled. A long sword made of shadows appeared in his hand.
“Where did his wings go?” Beast Boy asked watching the two.
The two boys reached the railing that surrounded the center of the second level. They jumped over the side and landed cracking the floor. The two figures stopped their killing spree and turned around to face their new opponents. One was a boy the other a girl. The boy was dressed in green shoes and green pants. His shirt had long sleeves and was green. His red hair was fairly long and his red eyes had slits for pupils. In his hand was a sickle with a chain attached to the end. Their was a weight on the end that he spun. He smiled a sinister smile and laughed slightly.
The girl was dressed in yellow shoes that were partially covered by khaki pants. The pants had pockets half way down the leg. Her yellow tank top was tucked in. In her hands were metal claws sharpened into blades. Her long blonde hair was pulled back in a ponytail. Her brown eyes had a sadistic humor in them. She crossed her arms and smiled.
“You know you can't do anything here Draco,” she said narrowing her eyes at him.
Draco smiled, “I'm just here to cover his sorry ass.”
Devin jumped into the air and brought his sword down trying to cleave the girl in half. The boy threw the weighted end of his chain at Devin. Draco put his sword up and blocked the attack. The boy pulled the weight back and smiled. He began spinning the weight.
“Been a while Draco,” a forked tongue shot from his mouth then back in.
“Still a son of a bitch snake. Eh, Hydra,” Draco said with a smile.
“You're just lucky I can't kill you yet.”
“Guess he still hasn't awoken yet.”
“All thanks to your friend Lupus.”
“Well you can't really hold it against us. After all. We're all just doing our jobs.”
“Heh. True. Guess you're not going to let us do anymore damage here are you.”
“Good guess.”
Devin's sword came down. It went into the floor and wouldn't come out. Leo had dodged and was coming at Devin.
“Shit,” Devin said letting go of the sword.
He made a katana from shadows and swung. Leo jumped into the air and came down. Devin hit the ground. Leo's knees where on his arms. Her arm was on his throat and her other was raised waiting to drive her claws into Devin's throat.
“Enough Leo. We're leaving,” Hydra commanded.
Leo looked up at him, “What?”
“We're leaving.”
“Can't I at least kill him?”
“No. Now come on.”
The two left while Devin and Draco breathed a sigh of relief. The Titans rushed over. Raven began worrying over Devin who kept insisting he was fine. Draco roared and slammed his fist into the floor. Several large cracks spread out. Everyone was in awe of Draco's strength. His fist wasn't even turning red.
“Whoa. Remind me never to piss him off,” Beast boy said.
“Who were they?” Robin asked.
“Pride and Greed. Their names are Leo and Hydra,” Draco said.
“Why didn't you kill them then?” Raven asked.
“I can't. When mankind was created we were created as well. But rules were made at the same time. I'm not allowed to kill them until all three are awake. And they can't kill me.”
“What if they do? Or you do?”
“We die and can't come back. Moreover, none of you can kill them.”
“What!”
“If you do. Then you die,” a voice said behind them.
Everyone turned and saw Wolf and Tiger walking toward them.
“Sorry we weren't here sooner,” Tiger said.
Draco shook his head, “No it's okay. We wouldn't have been able to do anything anyway.”
“He sure is taking his sweet time waking up isn't he.”
“Nothing we can do. Let's go back.”
“Why don't you guy come stay with us?” Cyborg asked.
“Wouldn't feel right. We appreciate it but our hotel will do for now.”
The three got back to there hotel. Lupus did laps, Tigris watched, and Draco played pool. When it started getting dark they went back to there room and fell asleep. The Titans went home and did various things. Devin and Raven went to the roof and watched the sunset. Robin trained and tried to figure out who Slade was. Beast Boy and Cyborg played video games while Starfire watched.
When it got dark they all went to bed. Devin and Raven “fooled around” until they fell asleep. Cyborg, having been awakened by the two, went to the kitchen. After making a sandwich he was getting ready to eat when he heard a tapping on the window. There was a flash of lightning and Cyborg saw what was making the tapping. Hydra was tapping on the glass with his sickle. Cyborg stumbled back toward the door.
Outside Hydra smiled. He brought his sickle back and drove it into the glass once more. The sickle went all the way through the glass. Hydra pulled The sickle around in a circle. The piece of glass fell into the room. It shattered with a huge crash. Hydra stepped into the room. Cyborg ran out of the room and through the halls of Titans Tower.
“Intruder! Hydra's in the Tower!” Cyborg shouted.
Robin came out of his room, fully awake and ready to fight. Devin pushed Raven back into their room and then sealed the door. Starfire came out of her room confused. Beast Boy stumbled out of his room still partially asleep. When he saw Hydra he screamed and was fully awake. Hydra began walking toward the Titans.
