“Games are fun. Sparring is better though. Maybe you can beat me at that?” Devin said look at Robin.

“Let's find out,” Robin said getting up and heading off to the Training room.

When the two reached the training room, they each got into a fighting stance. the other Titans watched from the side lines as Robin threw a punch. Devin blocked the punch with out stepping back. Robin continued to attack while Devin blocked without moving from his spot.

“You're pretty good. Nice form, lots of power, and your fast,” Devin said smiling.

“Thanks,” Robin said before trying an elbow jab.

Devin blocked the jab and his smile got wider, “But. At the rate your going you won't last much longer.”

Robin was getting tired and Devin hadn't even broken a sweat.

“Now then,” Devin stepped forward and threw a punch.

Robin dodged but didn't realize Devin's plan. Devin continued forward and clothes-lined Robin, but instead of letting him fall, Devin grabbed Robin. Devin grabbed Robin's side with his free hand and lifted him placing Robin's right shoulder on his left. Then Devin did something that no one had expected; he fell backward slamming Robin and himself to the mat. Devin jumped up and pulled out a handgun, caulked it and pointed it at Robin's head as he rolled over onto his back. Devin smiled and pulled the trigger. There was a dry click and Devin started laughing.

Robin glared at him, “Why did you do that?”

“I'm sorry. I just couldn't resist,” Devin said spinning the gun on his finger. He pulled another gun exactly like the first. Robin glared at Devin, “That wasn't funny.”

“Mabye not. Damn.”

“What?”

“I'm sore. And I'm hungry. Who's up for Chinese?”

“I am,” Cyborg said raising his hand.

“Only if there's tofu,” Beast Boy crossed his arms.

“Why do you want to cook?” Robin said suspicion in his voice.

“What is your problem! I'm hungry and I want Chinese! Why are you so damn suspicious!”

“One you're an assassin. Two you tried to kill us. Need I go on?”

“Hey! That was because I had a contract with Slade. Slade tried to kill me so that means that my contract is terminated. I have no reason to kill you people,” with that Devin stormed out of the training room.

Raven walked out while the others tried to talk to Robin.

“Hey,” Raven turned to see Devin leaning against the wall next to the door.

“Yes?” Raven looked him up and down without being too obvious.

“I feel a little stupid asking this, but…”

“Yes?”

“Where's the kitchen?” Devin looked a little sheepish.

Raven walked to the kitchen with Devin behind. On the way Devin grabbed his duffel bag and began going through it.

“What are you looking for?” Raven said watching him out of the corner of her eye.

“I'm looking for my MP3.”

“It's not in there, we went through everything.”

“Ah. But did you check the hidden pocket?” Devin pulled out an MP3 player with a set of headphones. He put he headphones on and pushed play. “What are you listening to?”

Devin just ignored her as he tossed the duffel bag on the couch in the Living room. When they got to the kitchen Devin turned around and, with a phony French accent, said, “Shoo. Leave me to cook. I must be alone to cook my master piece.”

Raven walked out feeling a little awkward. After a while a smell began wafting through the tower. All the titans were drawn to the kitchen were they saw Devin cooking. When the song stopped he turned the stove off and said, “Dinner is served.”

He turned around holding a large metal pan in one hand and a large spoon in the other. He used the spoon to point to the set table. The Titans walked over and sat down as Devin came around and served them spoonfuls.

“Whatcha' make?” Cyborg asked.

“Teriyaki Chicken.”

“I'm not eating Chicken,” Beast Boy said pushing his plate away from him. Devin smacked him in the head with the spoon.

“What was that for?”

“For being stupid. I don't care what problem you have with animals but you will eat what I make even if I have to shove it down your throat, and we all know that I can and won't hesitate to do so.”

“Smells great.”

Devin didn't sit at the table instead he ate his dinner standing up then took his plate and put it in the sink and waited for the others to get done. The Titans finished dinner and left, except Raven.

“Why are you staying?” Devin asked looking at her.

“I thought I'd help with the dishes,” Raven said grabbing a drying towel.

“In other words you wanted to be alone with me.”

“No. I just thought you'd like some help with the dishes,” Raven blushed slightly.

Devin smiled, “Raven. I'm a loner. I do things my way and I don't tend to like help from others. I know that you're in your mating cycle. So am I. It's only going to get worse the closer the new the moon gets.”

“Why?”

“That's when demon are the most fertile. I don't know why it's the New Moon it just is.”

“Hmm.”

“We're going to have to mate at some point or just be locked up until our cycles end. Mating will be faster trust me, I know.”

“How do you know that?”

Devin looked out the corner of his eye and smiled at her.
