Chapter three: Show down with the Legends

Malon ran threw the dark streets of the Hyrule castle town and towards the Castle. Her feet were kicking hard off the ground as she raced towards her destination. She was now starting to wish she had some sort of hair tie to hold back her hair. It flew in her face then slapped against her shoulders, it was quite bothersome, but she shook the annoyance of her hair out of her mind. She had to warn them, not only was Ganon free but there was someone else made of black mist that was running around.

Malon reached the dirt path and started to run at her top speed. She had to warn them, warn the princesses. They were after her, Not only was she their princess but next to be Queen. The King had not other kids so they had to make sure the princess they had stayed safe.

The Dirt path started to curve up into a hill. Malon hated this part the most, she hated walking up hills, running up one was not more of a joy. Malon started taking in deeper breaths, she had to get there. There was no telling where the other creepy mist guy was right now. She just only hopped she was not to late. Gasping hard as she finally made it to the top of the hill. She leaned over, placing her hands on her knees. She need to catch her breath or she would not be able to talk when she got to someone who could help her. Sweat then started to run down her forehead, she had not ran this long or hard in quite some time. She knew she should have taken Links offer to go train with the Gerudos. But she though it was going to interfere with her job at the ranch.

After a few moments Malon shook her head then started jogging towards the gates. The watch men stood at the gate, there were two of them. There was no really other way to get into the castle unless you went threw this gate. Because if the watch men saw you trying to climb the tree, or up the wall, you'd be in deep trouble. Malon slowed to a walk as she approached the guards. She could not tell if they were looking at her or what they were doing because they had their helmets on.

She walked a few steps closer and the two guards pointed their spears at her. She smiled stupidly. They did see her. Of course they did, she was the only one breathing like she had been chased by a dragon. Malon got down on her knee to show she meant to harm. Se looked at the two guards. During they day she knew the guards rather well. She'd chat with them when she'd come deliver the Milk to the castle. Or bring, eggs, horses or even cows. These two she defiantly knew where not the ones during the day hours, they would never pull their spears out on her.

"What are you doing here? And at this hour of the night?" One of the guards asked. Malon could not be to sure witch one said it. Neither one of them moved, and their mouths were very well hidden. Malon got to her feet again and they pointed the Spears closer to her. That was a rather bad idea, she spoke up before they started poking her with their spears.

"I just came from the Temple of time, Ganon is free! He's after Zelda!" Malon said, the Guards moved their head and looked at one another. Then the looked about at Malon. She leaned a bit closer to them and they both started laughing. They dropped their spears and grabbed their sides. Malon became enraged at this. She though guards had more self control then this. But no not these ones, the must not have much of social life if they though this was funny.

"Ganon?? Free?" One of the guards said, this guard had a booming voice, he almost fell down on the ground with how much he was laughing. Malon frowned, they were not going to let her pass! Not only that but this proved they did not believe her, not even a little. Malon formed her hands into fist, if they had not been wearing their armor she would have punched them both.

"Look! I was there!" Malon protested, "The door of time was open! The Spiritual stones are there! If you don't believe me go look!" Malon said and they guards stopped laughing and stood up again brushing themselves off. Just in case someone important showed up. Malon pointed off in the direction of the Temple of time as they bent down and picked up their spears.

"I'm sorry Missy, but You can't get in. I know how much all you common people want to get into the party. Your the third person who has came to us and told us Ganon was free. Sorry next time think of a better reason to get in and maybe well let you in!" One of the guards said and Malons mouth dropped open. This was simply wonderful. If she found out who had lied to the guards about that she was going to really beat them up. People have been crying wolf all night, and when she came to them with the truth they did not believe her.

"But you have to believe me!" Malon cried and they shook their heads no. She grunted then looked around. There had to be another way into the castle. The guards started making cracks on her and the people who had told them Ganon was free. She then turned and started to walk away from the guards. If Ganon should beat up anyone Malon wished it would be those two stupid guards at the gate. Not only had they almost died of laughter but then they started mocking her.

Malon growled, there simply had to be another way in. She was the only one who saw it, so she was the only one who could give the message. She then wished she had found a ways to keep Karzon there longer, they would have believed him, he was a Shika for crying out loud.

She then turned the corner, the guards could not see her anymore and she was happy she could not see them. She then leaned up against the wall and sighed deeply. She had ran all the why up here just to be made fun of. She closed her eyes, she had cough up on her breathing finally and started to think About the Princess. She was not going to be the only one in danger, everyone in the castle was in grave danger! Then If Ganon was after Zelda, he would defiantly be after Link as well.

Malon touched the dirt wall she was leaning on and felt vines. Link popped into her mind again. This was where she had meet Link for the very first time. Right here at this wall, Malons father had left to deliver milk to the castle and they would not let Malon in so she stood by this wall. Link had shown up a few hours later, he told Malon he had to see the princess.

Link had been turn down an entrance as well to get past the gates. So he came back over to the wall and started talking to Malon. He was trying to plan the perfect way to get in to the castle. They both had noticed the vines. Link then started to climb them, he made it up to the top and walked on the dirt wall until he was past the gates. It must have worked because the next day Link came out with a letter from the princess, to give to the guards at death mountain.

"God I love you Link..." Malon said as she turned towards the wall and got a tight grip on the vines. Now she was finally going to be able to deliver her message to them inside the castle. She just hopped the vines were strong enough to hold her. She was not a little kid anymore, but she figured if Link could do it, so could she.

She really did love Link, but nothing more then a best friend. She never found that sort of attraction to him. For one he was raised in a forest and Malon not only hated the forest but she disliked the fairies as well. She did not have a good encounter with the fairies when she went looking for her missing cow. Link could also be one of the most annyoingest person she knew. The only one Link appeared not to bug ever was Zelda. She never said he was annoying or acted like a little brat. Maybe because Link really loved the princess, Malon would have had to been a fool if she had not see their attraction for each other.

As she though about Link and all the crazy shit that boy did it made her feel a bit better. She had almost forgotten about the guards, she was now extremely determined to get into the castle. She was not about to lose Link because two morons would not let her pass.

She climbed up it slowly, just to insure if she felt like it was not going to holder her anymore she'd go down. Malon would wrap her hands around the vines above her then pull herself up to the level. She kept doing that and she was getting pretty high up. She would once in a while wrap her hands around a vine that had thorns in it, she would not notice until she started to pull herself up. It hurt her hands very much and she felt her warm blood tickle down her cold skin. But she'd have to worry about that later, if she did not get in the castle, a few thorns ripping into her skin would be nothing compared to what Ganon or his little mist lackey were going to do.

Malon finally grabbed a hold of the top of the dirt wall and pulled herself over it. She had loads of paretic doing stuff like this. But she never dreamed she'd have to use it for an emergency. Malon once on her feet again stuck low to the shadows as she moved slowly across the top of the dirt wall which now formed into some sort of cliff.

There was only one way to get off this wall with out killing yourself from jumping. She had watched Link do it so long ago. She just hoped she would not be caught. On the side of the gate there was a stone room the was attached to the mountain of dirt. There was a latter in the room that led up to the top of the gate just incase it ever broke down and they had to fix it. The guards would always leave the hatch open on the top, and the door at the bottom. They could never be to careful.

Malon just hopped none of the guards would need to go in that room right now. She made her way over to the gate and looked down at the two of them. They were still making cracks about Ganon. Malon sighed, no wonder she never came here during the night. Malon got down on her hands and knees and started crawling towards the latter. When she got close enough to it she grabbed the latter and started down it being as quite as she could. She was thankful for wearing her soft leather boots today. They hardly made a sound compared to her other shoes. One wrong sound and the guards would be after her butt in a matter of seconds. The two might be stupid, but they were really on guard tonight.

She jumped off the latter a few steps from the bottom and stopped moving for a moment. She heard their laughter. They must not have heard her, that was a good thing she had made them in such a laughable mood before she decided to sneak into the castle. Malon slowly walked out of the open door and jumped into the shadows. The Guards look in her direction but then quickly turned back and started laughing again. Malon was so relived she though she was going to faint.

She was going to have to go the back way. Any other way and she'd be caught for sure. Link had also told her about the way to sneak into the garden. Her father had been over there as well but he had not been sneaking in anything. Malon then started to sprint off making sure to keep in the shadows at all cost. Soon she'd be to her destination.

"There you guys are! Dinner started fifteen minutes ago! I did not think you'd show up!" Zelda said as she flung her arms around Link. Link hugged her back and closed his eyes. Him and Impa had been in the garden that long.

Zelda was in a long light pink strapless dress. Her hair was now pulled back into a bun. She had put on her tirforce earrings as well. She then had gloves on that went up to her elbows with about five golden bracelets on each of her arms. She looked more beautiful then she did when they were running out in the fields. Her hair gleamed and sparkled when she moved even in the slightest.

Link looked at his beautiful princess. She was more then a dream come true. Her beauty out shone the sun and the stars. Nothing in the whole universe could camper to her. No wonder why so many people wanted to marry her. But Link sighed so happy that she had picked him out of Everyone else.

"I HOPE we don't make a scene...for coming in late," Impa said she put her hand on her head. She did not mind being yelled at but she was always embarrassed when she came in late and everyone looked at her and started whispering under their breaths. She had kind of gotten used to it though. She normally came in late after walking around, or talking to Link.

"We would never not show up Zelda," Link said brushing Zelda's face her skin was soft and smooth, he did not feel like Eating. Seeing his parents, thinking about all the legends and stuff. He closed his eyes then Kissed Zelda's head. He had to much to worry about right now.

"Come in come in what are you three doing standing around!" Zelda's father said with a smile on his face. Either he was extremely Drunk already, or he was in more then a happy mood. Link Let go of Zelda as the three of them walked in the room. The dinning room was so packed you could hardly see the floors or the walls. Link had never see this many people in this room at once. He hardly recognized any of the people either. Some of them were rather creepy looking in his opinion, nothing compared to Zelda.

"COME here my boy!" The king said as he pulled on Links shirt. Link fell backwards but the King caught him before he feel down on his butt. Link turned bright red as people from all around the room started to look at him. He had not even got ready for dinner.

"Daddy what are you doing?" Zelda asked harshly as she noticed all the people staring at Link her beloved and her father. Her dad smiled then threw his arm up in the air and everyone started clapping. Link, Zelda and Impa were all very confused. Zelda tried again to ask her father what he was doing but he ignored her and put his arm around Links shoulder. Link Bit his bottom lip and smiled slightly at the crowd of people. They all started moving in closer.

The only time people moved in close around the king was when he was going to give a speech. Link knew this first hand. Because every time he was going to get yelled at the king told him to move in closer. Link did not want to be yelled at right now at dinner. Not with all these people around. Not even Zelda or Impa could save him now.

"Ladies and Gentle me! I Bring to you! The hero of Hyrule, our very own LINK!" The King said as he stood up on a chair. He then Let go of Links neck and grabbed him by his hand. Zelda rolled her eyes at her father. He was going to make himself and Link look like fools. The King then with all his strength pulled Link up, but not on to a chair but he put him on the table.

Link laughed stupidly as she looked around. She could see the whole room now. Which meant everyone could see him. This had to be the worse time in all his life to be called a Hero. Link felt his face go red as Zelda tried to con her father into stopping what ever he was doing at once. He still paid no mind to his daughter and she was getting extremely mad at being ignored.

The King then patted Links back making him move forwards a bit on the table. A few of the guest started laughing and Link felt like he was going to die this was so embarrassing. Some people started to comment on what he was wearing and the finny smile he had on his face. They were judging him and he finally knew why. The King had done this on propose most likely to see if he was good enough to marry Zelda. He wondered how many poor men were going to have to do this tonight. The people looked at him then the closer ones started poking at his legs.

"Hey stop that!" Link said at some woman who was pulling on his pants. Zelda flared up so angry that they could do this to Link, she walked over and smacked her father on his arm. He finally looked down at her. He saw her expression and started laughing. Zelda found nothing funny bout making a fool out of Link. He was the hero, the brave courageous hero.

Zelda's dad then grabbed hold of Zelda and pulled her up on the table as well. Zelda turned towards her father as more people started laughing. She was sick of this. What had made him start acting this way. He then pushed Zelda towards Link. She crashed into Link and they both fell over, Sending peoples cups and dishes all over the place. The whole room exploded in laughed.

"I'm so sorry, I don't know whats gotten into my father...." Zelda said as she stood up and helped Link to his feet. He looked extremely cute when he was embarrasses and helped up my a girl. Impa was getting extremely mad watching this. The King had told her he was going to show off the people who wanted to marry Zelda off but this was getting out of hand.

"Can I just get out here?" Link asked and Zelda almost started Crying. The peoples laughter filled her ears and then her father was laughing as well. Link was upset, witch brought the tears to her face more then anything. She had to get out of this room as well. This was not going on before Link and Impa arrived, her father had simply introduced the men to Zelda. She was not interested in them and she was hoping for Link to show up, but now she wanted to disappear.

"STOP THIS AT ONCE!" Impa screamed. Everyone in the room shut up and she jumped up on the table. "What is wrong with you! All of you! King, I'm very disappointed in you!" Impa called out to everyone in to room. The King looked at Impa and smiled. She did not like that smile. She knew he did not like Link all that much and he defiantly did not want him to marry his daughter. But she could not watch this go on any longer.

"Impa whats the harm in having some fun with the Hero! He needs to relax!" The King roared with laughed. Some people joined in but the others who had more respect for Impa stood there and said nothing. This Party was not going to have entertainment anymore because Impa would not let them go on making a fool of Link and Zelda.

"This is not funny!" Impa yelled as she pointed to Link and Zelda. "Do they look like that are having fun! They came down here tonight for dinner, not to be the next court jesters!"

Impa and Links head snapped as the looked at each other. Link started laughing and Impa patted his shoulder. Then Impa joined in and started laughing at the story they had just made up. Link shook his head as he stopped laughing.

"That was a crazy twisted story!" Link said, before entering the dinning hall, just for fun Link and Impa had made up a story of what would happen when they walked in to the dinning hall. They were now a half an hour late for dinner. Link had started the little story with Zelda greeting him and explaining why they were late. Impa then took the next part and they just kept going on like that.

"You boosted to much about Zelda but you act like your married to her. So conceded you are," She laughed with a just kidding tone. "Well I guess these are the sort of things we thing about, after learning new Legends, me taking you into your mind. You could say we just needed a short brake and make up a story," Impa said as she leaned on the closed doors to the dinning hall. They really did need a break. And it did help the out a lot, letting out some stuff. Making each other laugh, it was a great feeling. Impa now felt as if Link was a nephew to her . Like he was part of her family just as she felt towards Zelda.

"You know, why don't we just save our self the trouble and not go to dinner tonight," Link said "I mean, who's going to miss us?" Link added in. He really did feel that way. No one knew him in that room beside Zelda and the King. Zelda had dinners with out him before, and he did not think she wanted him to embarrassing her by coming is so late. She would understand, or so he really hoped she would. Or he would get an ear full when he saw her again.

"I guess your right, come on I'm sure the kitchen is still open!" Impa said as she put her arm around Link and they started to walk off away from the dinning room. He smiled, he was not all that hungry from the days adventure. He started laughing as he continued of with his and Impa's story. He started adding how Him, Impa and Zelda had left the castle after the most embarrassing dinner fall and watched the stars from the garden. Impa could not have though of a better ending then that. (Yes, non of that dinner stuff happened from the part it started with Link and Impa after Malon!! It was a story they were telling! I tricked you! ha ha! Everything else before that DID happen!)

Zelda bit down on her lip as she tried to hold back her tears as she looked down at her plate full of food. She had not touched a single bit of it. She was waiting for her Hero and her advisor to come threw the doors of the dinning hall. She looked up a few times at the door thinking she heard them. But only to be disappointed that the doors did not even move. She tapped her fingers lightly on the table. A lot of stuff popped in to her mind on what could have happened to the two of them. Most of them started and ended with some sort of monster or natural disaster.

He father was talking about well keeping, and adding another garden to the castle, free for all people to come and see it. Night or day, Zelda had tried to get into the conversation but she kept thinking of what Link and Impa would think on the matter. She had lost count of how many forming tears she had wiped from her eyes. No one paid mind to Zelda wiping her eyes because there were onions out on the tables so they took the most logic explanation and turned their attention back to the king.

As that though ran there her mind the doors to the dinning halls came open. Zelda jumped to her feet and imaged Link walking it with his nice white tunic. Saying how he was sorry he was late but would not miss dinner with her for the world. But to her up most disappoint meat it was Mina walking in holding a plate full of fruit. Zelda took her seat again smiling brightly, like that was spouse to happen while her father was talking about roses.

Her father, looked over at her and put his hand on hers. Zelda just smiled even brighter at him and picked up her fork even though she was not going to attempt to eat anything. She was to upset with Link. They were so close to confessing their love for one another. And he bailed on her, left her hear to take on the most life draning conversation she had heard in years. The idea of another garden as a good one, but the details on the dirt, grass, how many and how much of this and that.

Ten minutes more passed, the twenty, the dinner went on and the seat on Zelda's right remained empty and so did the one right across from her. Zelda still did not touch her dinner when they brought out the dessert. Her plate was taken and a small heart piece of cake was placed in front of her. There was pink icing all around it and then some white frosting. She bit her bottom lip as she imaged Links smiling face. Tears started running down her face and she broke into an out burst of tears.

"Zelda! Darling whats the matter?" The Zing yelled in the middle of his sentence about oak trees. He got out of his seat and started patting his daughters back. Some people started offering words of comfort for the princess but they really did not know why she had started crying. So their words meant almost nothing. and the fact Zelda was trying to block them all out.

Zelda took her face out of her hands and shot up from her seat almost knocking her father over. Some people looked quite shocked, but they all did when she slammed her hands on the table. Zelda's cake and all her forks knives, and spoons went flying onto the ground. They could see she was on the peak of screaming. The guest still shot out words of comfort to her telling her, `it will be okay, clam down, tomorrow's another day.'

"Where is he! Where is Link! Where is Impa! They should have been here already!" Zelda said trying not to yell. Zeldas father did not like when she got all emotional like that. But at least they knew what her problem was now. She was just not going crazy. So they offered her more better comforting advice then the ones they had been randomly shooting out to her.

"Zelda, it was a choice to come, not a command," The king said and Zelda pushed him away from her. She walked over to the door and Mina grabbed her shoulder. Zelda was about to jerk it away from her but they look she gave her made Zelda want to hear what she had to say.

"Princess, I know you care about that boy a lot. And Great Impa as well. But they had been standing out side the dinning room for half the dinner, laughing and hugging each other. Then, a half and hour ago I saw them walking off together, laughing heading towards the kitchen. Zelda...please don't go, what if you see something that upsets you?" Mina said and Zelda started laughing , very lightly at first then it got louder and louder like she was going insane. She pushed Mina away from her then stopped laughing, more tears then before streamed down her face.

"Imap...and Link? How crazy is that? I mean he loves me!" Zelda said as she opened the doors to the dinning hall. "He came back for me! He has to love me, not Impa!"

"Zelda! Hunny, remember what we talked about this evening before dinner. Don't get your self worked up over a false path!" The King said and Zelda wiped her eyes. How could they be telling her this. There was no way Link was in love with Impa. Impa did not love him either. "Please sit down darling."

"If they do love each other...I have to be the first to con...cong...wish them a happily ever after!" Zelda screamed, not being able to help herself. She went running away from the dinning room. Faster and faster, she had to find Link. She had to tell him once and for all that she loved him. Even if he did love Impa, but how could that be? Zelda was so confused. She ran down long hallways and down a few steps. Which brought up another worry to her mind, why the hell was the kitchen so far away from the dinning room?

The last stair way that lead to the kitchen. Zelda stopped running and walked down them slowly. She did not want to be in a mad frenzy when she walked in. She already had a room full of people who though she was going nuts. She did not need two more people to think that as well. Zelda ran her and across the wall as she walked towards the door.

She now was starting to hope Link was not in here. He could be riding around on Epona for all she knew. But she knew better then that, he had come it with her, he carried her to the castle then they both started running around together. He was the one to admit that everything they did was meant for couple. She gripped the handle. Cold and hard it was, on one must have touched it for more then a half and hour or so. She turned it ever so slowly. What if she did see something that upset her, there was always the door back out. She would be saved.

She then finally found the courage to open the door. She heard his voice, heard her voice. She let go of the door and two faces looked at her, two faces on the opposite side of the room from each other. Two faces she loved the most. Zelda put her hands to her face and started crying again.

"Zelda?" Link asked as he jumped off the counter from where he was sitting. It was true him and Impa had a good twelve foot distance away from each other. Link was so happy to see Zelda, she had left the dinner to find him he guessed. But his smile faded as he saw and heard she was crying. Link rushed over to her and Impa stood up from where she was sitting as she noticed Zelda was crying as well. "Zelda whats the matter?"

"Link! I'm such a fool! A big stupid fool!" Zelda cried as she hugged him when he got close enough. She gripped on to his shirt so tight that Link though she was going to rip a few holes in to it. Link tried to hush her as by rubbed her back gently.

"Your not a fool Zelda," Link said in the most comforting voice he could summon up. Zelda started mumbling stuff as Impa walked over and placed a hand on Zelda's head. She was just as confused as Link was. Link was still trying to get out of Zelda why she was crying. Zelda would not directly answer that question she just started talking about dinner and stuff. Impa after saying a few words got Zelda to hush and think straight.

"Link!" Zelda said after a moment and pulled away from him only enough so that she could see his face. The worried blanket that was wrapped up on his face and in his thoughts. He cared about her. Zelda's heart started pumping as she placed her hands on his face. "Oh Link! I love you so much! Your the only one I could ever love this much! I love you!! I LOVE YOU! LINK GOD DAMIT I LOVE YOU!" Zelda yelled and Link smiled. "Please tell me you love me Link! I can't Live with out you! With out you only loving me the way I love you! Not loving anyone else!"

"Zelda! I do love you-!" Link said, Zelda's heart did a few flip flops in her chest. She did not give him the chance to Finnish she pushed herself up and landed her lips on his. Impa started laughing, as they two got into a deep kiss.

"All right you two! Thats why they invented a room! So you don't have to make out in the kitchen in front of me!" Impa said but could not stop from laughing. Zelda came in crying just to tell the hero she was more then madly in love with him. Zelda broke off the kiss and hugged Link Tightly again.

"Damn..." Link said with a little laugh as Impa turned back and looked at them. They had to be done of course if Link was over here laughing. Impa brushed off her arms as Mina walked into the kitchen. Impa frowned at her, then shook her head. Just a quick glance into Mina's mind and she knew why Zelda had been so upset. Maids these days took everything the wrong way.

"Zelda could I borrow Link for a moment," Impa said lightly as Mina took something and left the kitchen again. Zelda looked up at Impa. She had nothing really to worry about. Zelda let go of Link and hugged Impa. Impa smiled again, as Zelda let go of her. She backed away from them a few feet, Impa took Link my his shirt sleeve and pulled him out of ear shot form Zelda.

"What is it?" Link asked still a little shocked from that kiss he had just received from Zelda. Impa scratched her head. Then lifted her shoulders up slightly. How was she going to tell Link about what she had just found out? It was to weird.

"I know why our poor Princess was so upset, now try not to laugh tell later, I don't want Zelda to get the wrong Idea. She has not been having a good day. And you could say this had been the biggest, upside of the rotten day," Impa said and Links puzzled looked said, `just tell me already Impa'. Impa took in a deep breath so she could contain her own laugher. "Mina, that stupid moron, and the King both were trying to get Zelda to Believe, that I love you more then a friend, the same for you but to love me like that."

"Are you serious?" Link said, he really did not know what to think about that comment. Of course he had asked a stupid question to a person who could read minds. But it just came out, just because he was hanging out with Impa, did not mean he wanted an intameant love with her. Most of the time she wanted to kill him. "The things people come up with these days."

"Yes you think they would have picked a better man for me to fall in love with," Impa joked then punched Link on his arm. He flinched and Impa started laughing. She looked over at Zelda, Link then looked over at Zelda and motioned for her to come over with them. She walked over to them and Link hugged her.

"Your not a fool Zelda, just a little Silly!" Link said and Zelda started crying again. Not because she was sad, because she was so happy. Impa then hugged the both of them. The three of them looked like one giant family.

"Take it easy all right Princess? Well chat in the morning, Link, can I entrust you to drop her off at her room. sence the King is going to kick you out of the castle any time now, The bombchu bowling alley should be opened for visitors. You could stop there for the night," Impa said as she let go of the two of them then smiled.

"No you can't," Link smirked and Impa smacked him on the back of his head. "Joke...haa haa, it was a joke."

"Good, I'll see you both Tomorrow morning," Impa said as she walked threw the kitchen and towards the doors. She Took one good look at Zelda and Link then left the Kitchen and headed down the halls. Impa rubbed her head as people started leaving the dinning room. Dinner must have ended now. She bowed as she passed the King. He waved at her, the contuined talking to some people.

How could anyone have been so foolish to think she was in love with the Hero. She did not like dating younger men either, it was not her thing. Then they knew how much Zelda was in love with the boy they should have though twice before even bring something up like that.

"Great Impa!" Karzon yelled as he ran threw the halls after Impa. He had been looking for her all night. Impa turned and Looked at Karzon. He got down on his knee when she looked at him. After a few minutes he stood up. Just by the way he was dressed, Impa knew he had not attended the dinner party as well. Impa crossed her arms across her chest and waited for him to say what he wanted.

"Don't you feel it?" He asked, Impa finally realized that he wanted her to feel something not for her to hear anything. Thats why he stayed down on the ground so long/ Impa looked around as the guest started to head off to the rooms they had been assigned when they first came to the castle. Then she felt it, a strong evil energy, Impa started looking at all the guest who were walking by. They all looked perfectly normal.

"Who could be causing this?" Impa said, the feeling started fading away, which meant the person was getting further and further away from her. Karzon closed his eyes and tired to Zero onto the person. But they had gone, as if they blew up, or were carried off by the wind. He opened his eyes, he had been feeling the energy all night, and when ever he got close to it just seamed to disappear.

"I don't know...but I felt it after coming out of the Temple of time," Karzon said and Impa gasped as she grabbed Karzons shoulders and brought him close to him so she could whisper with out anyone hearing on to their conversation. That energy felt so familiar but yet, not.

"Tell me everything that you saw or heard in the Temple?" Impa whispered to Karzon. He then told her everything he saw and did in the temple before heading off towards the castle. He told her about the banging and about Malon. Impa let got of Him and stood up right when ever a person would pass by. Once he finished his story she placed her hands on her hips. Thats what normally happened when anyone went into the temple. "Come with me." Impa said as she started up the stairs. Karzon then followed a few steps behind her so it would not appear that she had told him to fallow her.

Any one of these people could be walking around with an evil sprit. Maybe thats they the sprit kept breaking up. There were two Shika's and a Hero in the castle now, nothing would want to show it's face around with out really getting a butt kicking. Then what worried Karzon was that it could be a evil traveling sprit. Where it could jump from body to body. It could be everywhere and in anything.

They climbed up four flights of stairs and the higher they got the less and less people were around. Karzon figured Impa thought that it was a traveling sprit as well, the less people and object what were around. It would greater percent that they were not being watched or followed. Finally Impa stopped, she looked around the hall way a few times before turning to Karzon and speaking again.

"WE have to guard the Princess until that Sprit leaves the castle understood. The King has much more protection the his daughter does. But hey she has us what more could you ask for," Impa said, she could take out a few guards, thats why she was she was spouse to protect Zelda. Impa looked around again for a place for Karzon to Hide with out Link or Zelda seeing him, when Link was to escort Zelda to her room. Then she spotted it, a typical place for some where to hid but she did not have any other ideas right now. "You are to stay behind that big tree planter. You are not! What so ever to move until Link drops off Princess Zelda, then leaves back down the stairs. I don't want the two of them to get more stressed out then they already are. Once Link leaves you are then to stand guard at the foot of Zelda's door. Nothing is to come in or out! But if one of the nobles are coming, hid behind the planter again, these people in this castle will think a million different things if they see you standing in front of her door."

"All right, I got it, but what are you going to do?" Karzon asked as Impa pushed him over to the Planter. Link and Zelda should be coming soon. She looked over her shoulder then patted Karzon on his face.

"I'm taking the roof, dunno, if this sprit is as powerful as it feels we have to make sure all areas are safe," Impa said then she turned and started running down the hall. Karzon sighed, he would have liked to take the roof instead of sitting behind a giant pot all night. And they all knew her better so they would not think it would be weird if she was standing guard in front of Zelda's bedroom door.

Karzon sat behind there for a good ten minutes before he heard the first sound of someone walking up the stairs. He peaked out from behind the tree planter as Zelda and Link stepped up into the hall way. Link had his arm around Zelda as they made their way to the bedroom door.

"Just take it easy all right? You'll feel a lot better in the morning," Link said as he let go of Zelda and opened her door for her. She nodded then looked into her dark empty room. She then hugged Link again before stepping into the room. She took hold of the door handle and looked at out Link.

"You'll be here first thing in the morning?" Zelda asked Link nodded, Zelda forgot about going into her room. She let go of the door and stepped back out side of the room in front of Link. He bent down slightly and kissed her.

Karzon sighed and went fully behind the pot. He did not have to see the two make out nor did he want to. He figured listing to them was bad enough. let alone watching them was a different story. One he wished the be left out of. He was begging to wonder if Impa had done this him on propose for fighting with her earlier in the day.

"I better go now before your dad puts a bounty on me for kissing his daughter," Karzon heard link said and Zelda laughed lightly. "I'll come bright and early in the morning okay?"

"Soon the day will come when you wont have to leave the castle, if you don't want to," Karzon gagged himself behind the pot as he tried to get comfortable. This might take a bit longer then Impa had described it to be or he though.

"bad thoughts bad thoughts," Karzon said as he put his hands over his ears. He knew he would have felt differently if it was him and some girl talking like this. But he though these conversations were spouse to be kept privet. But then again they did not know he was sitting hidden behind the pot.

"Maybe," Link said touching Zelda's face one last time. "Good night."

"Good night," Zelda said softly as Link turned and started to walk away from the room, "Thats it?" She laughed and Link turn towards her. He shook his head then removed his hat from his head. He took in a deep breath and said.

"If I say any more I could not leave Zelda. Here, you can keep this for tonight, just because you know I'll definitely will come back for this. So you have my grantee that I'll come back," Link said as he tossed her his hat. She grabbed it and then hugged it to her chest.

"Bye Link," Zelda said, he waved off then headed down the hall ways towards the stairs. Karzon was so relived when he finally left. He did not know what was worse, waiting here for them to come or waiting for him to leave. He heard Zelda whisper something about her lover or another then she shut her door leaving Karzon in the hall way all alone again.

"Geezee, am I going to be like that when I find a woman?" He asked himself standing up from behind the pot. He was not going to walk over to her door just yet. He just needed to stand up. That confined space behind the pot was killing his legs. He walked in a circle as he heard foot steps coming up the stairs. He jumped behind the pot again. His eyes narrowed as Link came walking back up the stairs. Karzon ducked behind the pot and sighed. Did he not get enough for one night?

Karzon poked his head out from the side of the pot as Link knocked on Zelda's door. There was something different about him and he could not place it. Karzon slid out from behind the pot as he heard Zelda yell `I'm coming'. Karzon waited in the shows still trying to figure out what the hell was different about Link. He did leave for a few minutes maybe he just wanted back what ever it was he had given to Zelda.

Zeldas bedroom door open. Then Karzon saw something forming in Links hand. Then that feeling he had felt all night, before Impa had took him up stairs. The feeling was forming in Links hand! Had the traveling sprit jumped into Links body when he first left Zelda's room.

"Li-AH!" Zelda screamed and Karzon shot out from his hiding spot. Link or not, Zelda was endanger. It appear Link had formed a energy sword in his hand. The reason why Zelda had screamed was because he had stuck her with it.

Zelda fell back wards on her bedroom floor holding her bloody arm. She looked up at the person, it appeared to be Link. She was about to start crying and begging answers from him, but then she saw the single thing that was on his head. Something he had given her before he had left. His hat. This person was an impostor!

"Back off buddy!" Karzon yelled as he tacked the Impostor Link to the ground. The energy sword went flying off in the Zelda's room. Link then swung backwards nailing Karzon dead in his face. He flew backwards hitting Zelda's dresser.

"Karzon?" Zelda asked as the Link got to his feet. Link then formed something else in his hand as Karzon shook away his pain. "A BOMB!" Zelda screamed as Link the threw bomb at her. She jumped out of the way as it exploded sending her flying across the room. Zelda flipped over then fell on her side again. She picked up the energy sword.

"Are you all right Princess?" Karzon asked rushing over to her. He helped her to her feet and she nodded. "What is Link doing has he gone mad?"

"Thats not Link!" Zelda yelled, Zelda looked at Karzon she knew he was second guessing her. Zelda pulled out Links hat for the back pocket of her night robe and showed it to Karzon. "Link gave this to me before he left! There's not way he could have got another one because this is his only one! And Link does not have a fairy!" Zelda pointed to the small glowing light with wings that was hovering above Links head. Karzon finally released that was the very odd thing he did not remember seeing link have. The fairy that was floating around.

"Your to smart Princess, Ganon had underestimated how smart you had gotten over the years," Link said as he pulled out something else. it was a small golden Madallion. Zelda covered her mouth, that medallion was one of the three you could only get one death mountain if you owned the master sword, quake.

"This is not good..." Zelda said and Karzon was confused, he would be, he hardly knew anything about Hyrule so these medallions were knew to him. Link threw the Madallion in the air, when it landed on the ground the whole castle began the shake violently. Zelda and Karzon were forced off their feet by the shaking. Then Link smiled as lightning started shooting up from Zelda's bedroom floor to the ceiling of her room. Zelda rolled out of the way of one, but they were not heading towards her. He was trying to attack Karzon. One of the lightning's zapped Karzons arm and he let out a scream of pain. Then another one hit him.

"Stop it!" Zelda yelled as she threw the blade and it hit the impostor in his left knee cap. The lightning stopped and so did the quake. Karzon was gasping for breath. Zelda should have know he was going to try and Kill Karzon first he was a Shika, and with him out of the way there would be no one left to protect her. Link then pulled the sword from his knee and shot towards Karzon.

Link brought the sword swing threw the air slashing Karzon across his face. Blood splashed form his face all over link as swung the sword again. This time Karzon turned sharply and a staff appeared in his hands. He blocked the sword attack. The then took the end of the staff and smashed it into Links face. Link stumbled backwards but before he could stick again. Karzon turned sharply smashing the other end of his staff into Links neck. Link went flying towards the ground. He rolled a few times before jumping back to his feet.

"Pesky Shika!" Link laughed curly as he ran towards Karzon again. Link slashed his sword towards Karzons side. Karzon bearly blocked the attack. Link slashed again with lighting speed. He brought his sword up not only cutting Karzons arm but he sliced it off. Zelda screamed as Karzon lost his right arm elbow down. With losing his arm he lost control of his staff and it went skidding across the room. Karzon smashed up against the wall as he elbow was now gushing out blood. He felt dizzy as he skid down on the floor whimpering in pain.

Zelda looked around quickly as she spotted Quake. She rolled over and picked it up. She then pushed herself to her feet. She spun around quickly and smack Quake on to Links back. His whole body started trembling and the lighting was hitting him hard and dead on. Link turned around hitting Zelda, she let go of the medallion and Link started laughing.

"Your turn will be next," He said as he walked over to Karzon. Link then took out another bomb and threw it behind towards Zelda. She leaped out of the way as it exploded once again but talking the whole half of her room with it. The wall crumbled and fell to the ground below them. This was not good, Zeldas room was four floors up. If anyone fell out of it they would be killed. She now had to be more then careful.

"Zelda you just gave me an idea!" Link smirked and Zelda hit the floor. He must be a mind reader Like the Shika. He defiantly must have been made my Ganon there was no other way. He was going to kill Karzon.

"You monster!" Zelda yelled "IMPA!! LINK! SOMEONE HELP!"

"Scream all you want, but one ones' going to save your little friend!" Link said as he picked up Karzon by his shirt. Karzon's vision had gone blurry and he could hardly see right. He saw more then one link and more then one Zelda. He also was losing his hearing their voices were muffled. This was not a time to pass out. He tired his best to stay up but he could not mange. Link then spun around then threw Karzon with all his might towards the hole in the wall!

"KARZON NO!" Zelda screamed as he went falling out the hole in Zelda's wall.

"Good Night Link!" The guards said to Link as the two door watch men walked into the castle as Link walked out of the castle doors into the chilling night air. He sighed as he looked down at the mote. The mote was a river of water about twelve feet deep that circled the castle. He let out a deep sigh, one day was over, he was just getting ready for tomorrow.

"Nothing else bad can happen, it has to go up hill from here," Link said as he started walking off towards he castle town. the breeze started growing stronger. Link looked around, something was coming his way. Who ever it was, was wondering around in the shadows. Link stood still, who ever it was, or what ever it was, was coming his way.

Link then ducked sides ways in the shadow, what ever this person was doing, he or she was not spouse to be here. Hint their walking in the shadows. As the person got closer, Link jumped out of his hiding spot and grabbed the person. The Person started kicking and trashing but was smart not to say anything.

"Who are you an what are you doing here?" Link asked as the person stopped moving around. Who ever it was whispered something then started laughing lightly. Link let go of the person as she turned around. Link gasped then almost started laughing himself.

"Thank god it was you Link!" Malon said a little shaken up, "What happen to your hat?"

"Don't worry about it, what are you doing here? I mean it's dark and cold, how did you get in?" Link asked as he crossed his arms. Malon shook her head then smiled. She put her hands to her face then took a deep breath. She then remembered that her hands had gotten cut up from climbing up the dirt wall.

"Link, I'm glad you ask that! See because Princess Zelda's in trouble!" Malon started off speaking with a laughable tone but at the end of her sentence the stress came back to her voice and she snapped at him. She was so frustrated that no one believed her. She was willing to slap link in he called her crazy or did not even hear her out.

"WA?" Link asked, there was nothing else he could say. Malon placed her hands together. He wanted the explanation. The wind blew around them stronger and a chill ran down her spine. She had to hurry up, she must not be to late yet, if Link was out wondering around.

"Ganon is free-" Malon started and there was a loud crashing sound. Link looked around a few times before turning his attention back to Malon. He nodded his head for her to go on. Now was the time he wanted the details and how she got this information. "Look believe me or not, but I was there, the spiritual stones appeared, the song of item started playing! Just as you said. Then this person was formed out of mist, Ganon told him to go kill Zelda! Then I turned around to see if everything was normal and the door of time was open! The door that holds Ganon!! Link he's free and he's going to kill Zelda...or try to! If you don't believe me then just please protect the princess!"

Link bit his lip, he looked around the castle. Everything appeared to be fine. But Malon was not the one to run around and lie. Then to sneak on to the castle grounds just to tell a lie was totally not Malon. Link Punch his right hand in to his left. Malon smiled, he believed her. Well at least some one did, it did not make her feel so stupid.

"Lets go check out the temple of time," Link said and Malon grabbed a hold of his arm in horror. Did he just say what she though he said, go check out the temple of time. He was the Hero, protector of Zelda, not to go see if a Temple was still in one piece or not. That was not his job.

"Are you crazy! What about Zelda?" Malon said and Link pushed her off his arm then looked back up to the castle. Some of the lights in the windows were going out. The crash must not really have startled any of the visitors. He looked back at Malon, The moonlight made her look almost ghost like.

"Malon they wont let me back in the castle, I'm not even spouse to be here right now. Every thing appears to be fine, Ganon might be reaching but if the door of time is open a the most I can do right now is get the master sword. I don't think that Ganon would attack the first night he was free," Link said, at least he hoped it was all true. He could not enter the castle again unless either he heard a scream. Saw something or someone called him back in. If not he could get in deep trouble. Malon calmed down again. Maybe Link did have a point. The master sword right now was one of the key items they needed to defeat Ganon.

"All right lets go," Malon said and Link put his hand on her shoulder as they started walking away from the castle. Then there was another loud crashing sound. Link turned around sharply and so did Malon. To their horror a part of the castle wall blew up sending bit's and pieces of the stone wall all over the place. It fell towards the ground and cracked into smaller pieces. "So much for not attacking tonight."

"Now...this could just be a mistake..." Link said. Malon let out a small scream as she saw someone flying out of the whole in the wall.

"LIKE SHIT THIS IS A MISTAKE!" Malon screamed at Link. They both ran over to the mote as who ever had fallen out of the window fell into the water.

"Okay, you get the person out of the water...I'm going to check it out!" Link said then ran off towards the castle doors. Malon watched Link ran threw the doors as she removed the scarf that was around her neck then kicked off her shoes. She the dove into the water.

The water was almost freezing, the water peariced her skin like little knifes being rammed into her skin. But she tried not to let that get in her way. She began swimming against the current to where the person had fallen. Who ever it was, was extremely lucky to have this mote around of he or she would have died instantly.

Malons leg bumped up against something and she figured either it was a rock or the person. She splashed above the water for a breath of air before diving back down under the water. She felt around for the thing she had bumped into. Malon ran her fingers against some soft fabric and knew it had to be the person. She got a tight grip on the it then kicked up off the bottom of the mote.

She splashed her head above the water again gasping for air. She then swam to the side of the mote. carefully she climbed out of the water with out letting go of the person. Coming out of the freezing water made the wind even more chillier as it blew against her. She pat out some water from her mouth then started to pull the person out of the water as well. She had to struggle a bit but after a few times trying she managed to get the person out.

"Karzon!" Malon gasped as she laid him flat on his back. The moon reflected off his wet body. She then looked him over and noticed that he was missing an arm. She would have know if it was missing the first time she saw him. She patted his chest then moved her finger up and under his chin. She had to find his pulse to see if he was still alive.

She could not find the pulse in his neck so she bent her head down and laid it on his chest. She had to see if he had a heart beat. Malon cursed as she noticed his metal chest plate was getting in the way. She patted around his shoulders again to see if there was a way to take it off.

"Damn you Shika wear to much clothes!" She yelled as she finally found a way to remove the chest plate. She un hatched it then threw it off, she then removed his shirt he had under neat it, ripping it every now and then. She was lucky it was night time so no one could see her. It did not look to proper for a lady to be doing. Finally after removing the three shirts he had on her hand brushed against the charm he had shown her earlier. She squinted her eyes as she gasped again. The symbol on the pendent, she had seen it before, it was the same one the Oracle of healing had on his cane. Malon cupped her hands over it and closed her eyes.

"Please Sprit of Life, Please mightily oracle of healing! Her my cry, please spare this boy his life," Malon said, she then kissed the pendent and placed it on his bleeding Elbow where she guessed his arm had been cut off my some force. In the dark night she could not tell if it had working or not. "Please be okay..."

Impa had just started walking across the roof, she had done this a few times. If she wanted to be alone she'd come up here. The night air felt nice against her skin. Unlike the others, she enjoyed feeling the cold breeze. It was better then hot and humid air.

The only thing Impa hated about walking around up here was that most of the roofs were slanted. If she was not extra careful she could slip to her un timing death. Witch was not something she really wanted to do right now. Impa was starting to wonder how Karzon was faring behind his tree planter. She also felt bad for making him stay there, he could have came with her.

Now Impa was starting to Wish she had taken the young Shika man with her. It might have given her a better change to know him. To see how her tribe was still doing. She loved it Hyrule but every on and then she just wanted to go back. Impa walked on, she was heading towards the roof of Zelda's room.

Then the roof started shaking. Impa's eyes widened as the shaking got worse and stronger. She knew the magic that was being used it was Quake. The tiles on the roof started moving in a down wards motion. Impa tried to keep her Blanca but the tiles were making in almost impossible.

"Ah!" Impa yelped as she fell backwards on to her butt. Then she flipped over on her side and started rolling towards the end of the roof. Impa flew off the side of the roof. She reached her hand out and with all her force. She grabbed on to the side of the roof barley missing it. The force of gravity yanked down on her hard but her left hand grip was much stronger. She then grabbed on to the roof with her right hand. The castle was still shaking and the tiles kept sliding smacking into her hand before flying off the side of the roof.

The castle then stopped shaking as she heard someone scream. She cursed, this had been a bad idea in the first place. She need to learn to trust her own instant. At least the castle stopped shaking and the tiles stopped smashing against the only things that were keeping her alive.

Impa then slowly started to swing back and forth she had to get back on the roof. Impa felt her fingers slipping, this was only going to happen once. If she did not make it up she'd fall to her death. And not a very pleasant one either. Impa then to her final breath before throwing her legs backwards in a attempt to do a back flip on to the roof.

Impa flipped threw the air, they then touched something hard. She then fell black wards on the roof again. She slapped her arms out to her side to keep her from moving. She almost started laughing out loud. She had escaped death once again and was rather thrilled. Her feet hung over the side off the roof. All those years of training had helped out a lot.

Impa then rolled over on her stomach, pulled her legs back up and got to her knees. She had to find the nearest window to jump into. She had to find out what was going on and who was screaming. She then started running across the roof. She had a good idea it was coming from Zelda's direction. She had made it there when another blast forced her to stop in fear of falling again. This time she saw the explosion. Someone was messing with bombs, in Zelda's room.

"KARZON NO!!" Impa heard Zelda scream. Could he be the one cause all the trouble. Impa shook her head no. He could not have gone that evil in the time she left him. Impa bent down and looked over the side of the roof just to see Karzon falling towards the mote below. Then the evil feeling rushed over her. The sprit she had felt early. Impa jumped to her feet then turned around.

She did another back flip, grabbing on to the side of the roof again. She swung over the side and went flying threw the large hole that was in Zelda's bedroom wall now. Impa landed on the ground. No sooner did she land she brought her leg swing up towards the Impostor Links face. He went flying back wards into the wall.

"Oh Impa thank goodness your here!" Zelda cried as she embraced Impa. Link the Got to his feet and Impa's jaw dropped. "Thats not Link! Thats an Impostor! Links tunic is slightly different then that one, and I have the real Link's hat, he gave it to me before he left!"

"Thats why my mouth dropped open Zelda, The Legend Karzon told us, this is what it meant, The Hero of Hyrule will be the destroyer of it. This fake, who looks a lot like Link! Don't you get it? " Zelda sighed so happy that her link was not the evil on and that legend was figured out, it was just a tad bit to late. The two women looked up at the impostor link as he stood back up. A Black mist swirled around his body, His tunic changed to black, his under shirt and pants went from white to a really dark gray. his hair turned back and his hat turned gray as well. This his skin went from peach to pale white. He opened his eyes and two blood red eyes started at them.

"Talk about a change..." Zelda said as she let go of Impa so she would have her abitly to fight again. Once Zelda let go of Impa she flipped to her side and picked up the staff Karzon had dropped. It was a tad bit Heavy, like it was made of Iron. Dark Link then too his energy sword and charged at Impa. She swung the blade towards her. Impa then started to run towards Dark Link. Before she got to him, she slammed the staff down in to a hole in the floor of the bed room. She hosted her weight up and slammed her foot into Dark Links chest. He flipped backwards and landed so distance from Impa. She had an extremely strong kick.

Impa spun around the stuff before landing back on the ground. She picked up the staff then charged at Dark Link again. He jumped to his feet, and she swung the staff, he humped over in then flipped over Impa's head landed behind her. Impa went to turn around, but Dark Link dropped drown to the ground, she swiped his foot under Impa's casing her to trip and fall. She landed on her back but did not stay there to long. She leaned forward and pushed off the ground. Smashing her head into Dark Links.

Impa then grabbed a hold of Dark links shoulders and jumped up off the ground. She brought her legs back slamming them into his rib cage hoping to cause some damage. She then kicked off into a back flip and landed on her feet. Dark link shook his head. Damage was done to his body, but no pain was felt, he was not made to feel pain. This Shika was much stronger and older then the other one, he had to be more careful when fighting her. He knew just the way to destroy both her and Zelda, he just had to weaken this new Shika first.

Dark Link then ran towards Impa again, but This time she threw his sword to his side. The sword shot towards Zelda and peariced into her side. Zelda Let out a scream of pain as Impa took her eyes of Dark Link and looked over at Zelda. Dark Links plan had worked just the way he wanted it to. He then slammed his fist into Impas face she went flying backwards and crashed on to Zelda's bed.

Dark Link then flipped forward. He swung his hand arms and cracked Zelda's bed post. The top of the bed crashed down towards Impa. Impa shot her hands up and cough the hard wood before it hit her. She then moved her arms down as if she could not hold it. Then with all her strength she pushed it off her, it went flying towards Dark Link. He kicked it when it got close enough to it snapping it in to two pieces. Impa sat up on Zelda's bed gasping for air.

"Is that it? I was expecting more," Dark Link said and Zelda covered her mouth with her hands as Impa jumped of Zelda's bed. She then again charged at Dark Link. Impa threw a pouch put Dark Link moved side ways. It was as if he had gotten faster all of a suddant. She threw her fist out again as if she was going to hit him. Link she expected he moved. As he moved Impa brought up her other arm and grabbed him around his neck. She yanked him towards herself putting him into a head lock. He struggled around for a bit, then he bent down hosting Impa off her feet and throwing her over his shoulder. She slammed on her back again. The stone floor shot pain threw out her body. Before Impa could recover from her fall Dark link picked up one of the broke pieces of the wall and threw it at Impa. She got a glance of it and rolled out of the way.

"AH!" Impa screamed as the stone wall landed on her right leg. She felt her leg bones snap and brake into hundred of pieces. Impa growled, she was trapped under this piece of stone. Dark Link then walked over towards Impa. He bent down on his knee and smiled.

"It was fun, but I got my orders," He said as he put his hand in front of Impa's face. Impa's eyes widened as a white glow appeared in the palm of his face. She felt her head go all light her eyes got dizzy. Dark Link closed his hand quickly and Impa let out another piercing scream. He had cut her life spanned. She fell flat on the ground gasping for air, he was weak, he had almost killed her. She would die if she did not have special treatment. The Spell he was used was only learned by people with dark magic.

"Impa!...oh you monster!" Zelda screamed, why he was fighting Impa, she had walked over to her trunk. She had pulled out her bow and a few arrows. The Gerudos and Link had tough her everything she need to know about the bow and arrow. she was an expert at using it.

Dark Link turned sharply towards her, Zelda's shots were never off. Before Dark link could think about moving Zelda released and arrow, it flew threw the air right towards Dark Link. The arrow then met it's target and shot threw his neck. Dark Link then fell backwards as the arrow finally got stuck there in his neck. Blood started to drip threw his new wound.

Zelda dropped her bow as he started laughing. There was no way he could have lived after that. But yet he did, he stood there mocking her. He cut his laughter off as he then smiled his most evilest Grin at the princess. Then he struck her. Faster then he ever moved before all night. He smacked her across her face in tempt to make fun of her. Before she could fall, he rammed his knee into Zelda's stomach. She gasped for air as he pulled her back to her feet by her hair.

Zelda Then brought her hand back and slammed it into his right eye. He yelped and let go of her. He must not have been expecting much of a fight from the princess. Zelda then brought her leg up quickly and swiftly slamming her foot in to Dark Links man hood. But when he showed no pain Zelda's mouth dropped. He defiantly was not any normal person. She would have easily won this battle. One very important lesson the Gerudos had tough her when fighting man.

Dark Links left arm turned into a long rusted blade. Zelda backed up from him and saw the fear in her eyes. He feed off her fear. It made him feel better, more powerful. He brought his arm up in a mocking way, showing off his new arm.

"Don't worry, I wont kill you instantly, the joy is to watch you suffer," Dark Link smirked as he brought the blade down cutting Zelda across her chest. She he brought it again, slashing up her legs then her arms he kicked her with his foot as she hit the ground now covered in blood. She was going to make it seam she was defeated. A few cuts every where was no big deal.

Just as Zelda hopped Dark Link came walking towards her. Zelda gripped a stone that laid next to her. Link started laughing again. This was Zelda's chance he stupidly let himself get venerable. She Pushed back to her feet slamming the stone on the side of his head. He went flying side ways towards the large hole in her bedroom wall. She ran over to him and kicked him hard in his side sending him flying out the hole. He grabbed on to the side with his arm that was still an arm.

"Time for you to fall, asshole, next time you should learn before messing with me or my friends!" Zelda yelled as she slammed the stone on to his fingers. When he did no scream she finally realized this impostor could not feel any pain. But that was no matter, he would still die if he felt it or not. She then picked up another piece of stone and started slamming it on his head over and over again. She was letting out all her anger, for Karzon and Impa. She then got go mad she kick the stone that held is fingers in place and watch him fall.

Zelda dropped the stone in her hands, her hands were now all bloody and she hurt all over. She was just happy that night mare was over.. Zelda then started laughing happily, Link would be so proud of her. Well the real one any ways.

"Impa I did it!" Zelda said

"Your not out of the mess yet princess," Zelda turned sharply and screamed. Ganon stood before her in her room. She then saw a bright white light in front of her face. She got dizzy as soon as the light disappeared she screamed and started falling towards her cold stone floor.

"ZELDA NO!" Link screamed running threw Zelda's bedroom door. He saw only a glimpse of Ganon before he disappeared into the dark night. Link felt the tears shot from his eyes and down his cheeks as he grabbed Zelda before she hit the ground.

"Link....my love...link...." Zelda coughed as her vision was being to fail her. She felt his warmth as he pulled her close to him and cuddled her ever so gently. "Link...I'm dying..."

"Zelda...no your not...your not dying..." Link said as he kissed her forehead. as she felt his warmth then fainted, not only from the blood loss but the same trick Dark Link had done to Impa. He had cut her life span. Sooner or later she'd die. "Zelda....Zelda...ZEEEEELLLLLDDDDDAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
