Summary: AU fic, takes place in a normal senior high. Squall's the bullied one, and Seifer the popular one. A story about
the two of them forming a relationship of some sort ^_^
**AN: Sorry it's take me a while to continue the fic, but I've been busy. Thank god tomorrow is my last day at work, and
then I'll have my summer holiday and all the time in the world to work with my fics ^_^ Anyway, this chapter will be very
short!**
Chapter 5:
Squall was kneeling in front of the terrarium, his eyes resting on the lazy-looking lizard. He had just given Seifer some
calculations to solve, and was now waiting for the blonde to finish them. Squall traced the glass with his index finger, a
slight smile tugging his lips upwards.
'Does he really like the way I look?' Squall took a quick glance in Seifer's direction. The blonde was sitting on the bed, a
fretful look on his face. The mathematical problems were obviously giving him a hard time. Squall narrowed his grey eyes
as he observed the older boy.
'Why is he so different from the other bullies anyway?...They all hate me, so why doesn't he?.....Could he actually like me?'
Squall blinked his eyes, startled, when Seifer suddenly threw the book from his hands.
"Screw this shit!" the blonde groaned and crossed his arms over his chest with a pouty look on his face. "Why the hell do I
need to know how fucking many deca liters go into Mary's swimming pool?!...I mean who's ever gonna ask me that after I
graduate??"
The peeved look on Seifer's face made Squall feel a bit guarded. He watched the blonde from under his brows and slowly
got up from the floor.
"...Well Seifer..." the brunette began as he picked up the math book and made his way to the large bed. "...if you don't know
how to answer that question...you won't be able to graduate at all." Squall came to sit behind Seifer's back.
"Here, I'll help you." Squall said with an encouraging smile on his lips and gave the book back.
"...Yeah...and just how pathetic am I...needing help from a guy who's even younger than I am!" Seifer grumbled with a low
voice. Reluctantly he re-opened the book and showed Squall the problematic part. Squall leaned over Seifer's shoulder to
get a better view.
"Let's see...ah, this is easy! ...You just need to multiply this and this.... and then....then..." The brunette stammered, blinking
his eyes as Seifer turned his face in Squall's direction. Their eyes locked and Squall was unable to rid himself from Seifer's
green gaze. What ever the brunette was about to say before, was now lost. Squall swallowed as he realised that Seifer was
staring at his lips. He was aware of the fact that the older boy kept leaning closer, this causing Squall's heart to pound in his
chest harder than ever.
"What....are you-" Squall was cut off in the middle of his sentence as Seifer's lips suddenly united with his. The kiss was
hesitant, the blonde's warm lips only pressed against Squall's. The brunette blinked his eyes, his whole body suddenly
feeling numb.
'My first kiss...' was the only thing that came to Squall's mind. He could feel the blonde twine a hand around his neck and
he was slowly lowered down on the bed.
Seifer used his other hand to support his weight as he settled himself on top of the younger boy. He was unable to control
himself, and it was as if his body had a life of its own, as he finally deepened the hesitant kiss. There was no resistance
from Squall. The brunette boy just lay still, not really responding, obviously taken aback by Seifer' sudden action. Realising
this, the blonde parted from the kiss and moved away so that Squall could get up. He sat on the edge of the bed, unable to
make himself look at the younger boy. Seifer could already feel his face grow hot with shame.
'Oh shit! What the hell did I do that for??...If the guys find out I'm finished!...My reputation...everything!' Seifer cursed in
his mind, covering his face with his hands. Squall was about to sit up, but was stopped by Seifer who suddenly turned
around and pressed Squall back down on the bed. Squall's eyes went wide as he saw the menacing, but somewhat desperate
look on the older boy's face.
"Listen, if you tell anyone about this, I mean *anyone*, I swear I'll...I'll..." the blonde blinked his eyes, unable to finish his
threat, his green eyes locking with Squall's once again. He began to lean down and was about to kiss the younger boy again,
but was stopped by Squall who used his hand to push Seifer away.
"I--I need to go home.." the brunette stammered and hurried to get up from the bed. Seifer balled his hands into fists and
slowly got up.
"Yeah Squall...I'll take you home." He said through clenched teeth.
