Chapter 7: Coritsu

~13 Years Earlier~

Coritsu jabbed Erin swiftly in the stomach before Erin brought down her gunblade. She watched as Erin collapsed, and as Aires picked her up. They left the two to die. She watched a giant ship, the legendary Ragnarok, leaving the city and rushing back to Balamb Garden more than likely.

The 19-year-old could feel herself bleeding heavily, probably from Erin's gunblade. "No, my precious baby, I can't die. Not now, not here." She closed her eyes and reached around for Oritsu. She felt her hand grab onto his arm, and she started praying for a teleport spell.

~Present Time~

Coritsu stared out the window and watched as the memory faded away. Oritsu had died, and she had nearly died. She closed her eyes and searched around for her precious baby. The one she had to abandon almost 13 years ago.

~Flashback~

"NO! I don't want to lose him!"

"Coritsu, we're taking him to Edea's Orphanage. He'll be safe there."

"NO! SHADE!" The 19-year-old cried.

~End Flashback~

Even if she could have kept him, she would've had to raise him alone. Ever since she had failed not one but TWO missions, she had been stripped of her commander position, and had been thrown into the dungeon to die. She had managed to transport one of the Sorean doctors to her and said that she was pregnant. They nursed her back to health, but when the master found out that she was about to have a child, she ordered to have the child taken away at birth.

Coritsu blinked her eyes a few times to try and get rid of the tears.

`If only I could only get out of here and enroll in Garden. But Erin would kill me on the spot. But I could see my baby, Shade. He must be at least 13 by now.'

The woman closed her eyes and brought forth a teleport spell. Her last one. She felt her body being swept away.

"Location?"

"Edea's New Orphanage."

"Very well. Name?"

"Coritsu Itsu."

"Coritsu? I thought were dead!"

"Everyone did. But I'm not. Now, teleport master, take me to where I want!"

"Okay then, hold on, you'll be taken so that you are out of site from any viewers around the area."

"Yeah-yeah, I know the protocol. `Can't be seen until you are fully transported' right?"

"Yes."

She felt her body being swept away once again. The next thing she felt was sunshine, wind, and... she was there.

"It's been so long since I was here last. Now, onto that orphanage."
