DemonGirl-Setsuna: Hi there! Setsuna here!

INSANITY! Ritalin_writer has driven me into insanity!
First, she breaths down my neck, then she goes rabid, and now she is ignoring me!
Ritalin_writer: I am not ignoring you!
Setsuna: *Stops media-player* Oh really! What do you do when you chat-play?
Ritalin_writer: Raping a dictionary… My follow chat-players said that to me.
Setsuna: Fine… That one scene from `Advent Children' in English was funny though.
Ritalin_writer: Yeah, when you close your eyes and listen to it while letting your mind wander.
Setsuna: It sounded SO wrong!
Ritalin_writer: Made it sound like Rude and Reno were going to do a YAOI!
Setsuna: Yea Yaoi!
Anyway…

Ch. 4
Irony Sucks
----------------------------------------
Vincent sits beneath a tree on a cliff over-looking Nibelheim, the breeze gently causes his hair to slightly sway.
“There you are Vincent?”, Dietrich says, coming up beside him, “So this is where you hide when you want to be alone”.
He slightly jumps, obviously visibly startled.
“Dietrich…”, he mutters, “How did you find this place?”
“Lucrecia told me you'd come here to think when you wanted to be alone”.
“How is Lucrecia doing?”
“She's resting right now, I'm not letting her stress herself too much with her work”, she replies, kneeling next to him, “I can see why you come here to think, it's peaceful and the breeze feels nice…”.
“What do you want?
“Huh?”, she questions, having been caught up in how nice the warm breeze felt.
“Why did you want to find me for?”
“I'm going grocery shopping in town, and I wanted to know if there was anything you want me to get”.
“Hmm… How about some carrot-cake…?”, he replies, after a moment.
`He likes the same-thing I do!', Dietrich thinks.
“Is something wrong?”
“No, there's nothing wrong. There is a bakery in town, right?”
Vincent nods, “Yes, they have the best carrot-cake I've ever tasted”.
“Okay, carrot-cake it is for you!”, she says, dusting off her skirt as she stood.
“Just be careful not to get lost, the town is rather large”, Vincent warns.
“I will”, she replies, walking away as she added carrot-cake to her shopping-list.
----------------------------
An Hour Later…
In Nibelheim's Market…
“I've gotten almost everything on the list, except Vincent's carrot-cake and Lucrecia's herbal-tea”, Dietrich says to herself, looking over her list in one hand while holding the bags of food in her other hand, “Now where is that tea-shop?”
She looks around and then checks the hand-drawn map of the market-place Lucrecia drew for her.
`Where the hell is the tea-shop on this thing?', she screams in her head, `Also, where in the hell is the bakery?'
“In fact, where the hell am I?”, she whispers, looking around again and again checking the map, unable to locate where on the map she was, `Just great… I got myself lost…!'
She begins walking around, looking for something that looked familiar. Having no luck what so ever.
“Just fucking great! I'm so fucking lost it isn't funny…!”, she quietly growls to herself.
Suddenly, rain began to descend from the heavens; like a dumped bucket.
“Who did I piss off in a past life!”, she loudly growls, clenching her teeth as she hurries to find shelter.
By the time she found shelter under a shop canopy, she was so drenched that her clothes stuck to every curve and crevice of her body, and she could feel the wetness all the way to her skin, her hair which was normally had some lift to it, was completely straight and dripping; if you were to look up `drowned rat' in the dictionary her picture would be right beside it.
“The groceries…!”, she gasps, checking over the food she bought.
Luckily, the food escaped the down-pour, and was still dry.
“Oh good… At least something went right for me today…”, she sighs.
`Now how am I going to find the tea-shop and the bakery?', she wonders, `And then get back to the mansion without the risk of the groceries getting wet?'
“Man, you have the worst-case of bad luck”, a voice says from beside her.
“Huh…?”, she gasps, turning to face the speaker.
She sees Vincent standing there; completely dry, with a dripping-wet umbrella in his hand.
“Vincent…?”, she mutters, `How the hell did he get beside me without me noticing? Well duh, he is the Turk's best agent!'
“Did you get everything on the list?”, he asks.
“Uh, no I didn't. I still have to get the carrot-cake and Lucrecia's tea”, she replies.
“Why don't you go into the shop and get them”, he says, pointing behind himself.
“Huh?”, she looks over her shoulder and sure enough, the shop behind her was the bakery AND herbal-tea shop, `I hate irony!', she mentally growls, sweat-dropping.
-------------------------------
Five Minutes and a Carrot-Cake Later…
Dietrich walks beside Vincent under the cover of his umbrella.
“I can't believe you got yourself lost shopping”, Vincent states.
`Sure… Rub salt into the wound why don't you…', Dietrich spats in her head.
“Same-thing happened to me the first time I went shopping”, he sheepishly admits.
“You? The great Vincent Valentine, got lost? Hard to imagine”, she teases.
Vincent just lightly blushes, “I am human too you know…! I can make mistakes…!”, he stammers.
“Sure…”, she sarcastically replies.
His blush just darkens as he avoids eye-contact with her.
They walk back to the mansion in complete silence.

DemonGirl-Setsuna: Well? What did you think? Please review!
I had gotten `Dirge of Cerberus' on Saturday, and my Vincent crazy friend beat the game in three-days…
Talk about obsessive!
I watched all the cut-scenes, and know the flash-backs in the game a whole lot better; compared to just reading the script version of it.
But Sunday…*touches bruised right-cheek* I wasn't so lucky…
I slipped on the floor in the hall of my dorm, and my face bounced off the floor…
*mutters* First time I ever had an accident related nose-bleed…
*puts on a pained smile* I'm still sore today, but I'll live!
Well…
