Chapter 4

The next morning Selphie gets up alittle earlier then usual to take a shower.As she walks out of her shower she notices that there is a letter on the floor,that was slipped under her door.She walks and picks it up sliding off her towel and opening the letter surprised,"It's from Irvine.."she says and reads...:

Selphie, Hey,I thought about what you told me and we need to talk.I don't really believe what everyone said but still Selphie I don't know,The way you acted yesterday was alittle overboard but I do understand why your acting like this.Please,Don't be mad,lets just calmly talk about this and find out if its true or not.Selphie,I would like to talk to you at Lunch today...Meet me there please.-Bye for now. -Irvine-

Selphie then crumbles the letter up and throws it away and walks out her door after she brushes her hair and pulls her shoes on.

Selphie walks alone down the hallway thinking ~I wonder what he is thinking.....he "said" that he wanted me to stay away from him....what's wrong with him?~.She starts thinking about how they would tickle each other,and touch each other,and kiss each and she starts crying as she walks to her class slowly.

As she opens the class room door she wipes her tears away looking at Irvine making her want to cry more,having a sad express on her face.....She takes her seat (A/N:btw she sits by Irvine).She looks at him in disgust and opens her notebook and starts copying down the note on the screen.

Irvine then looks over at her and nudges her,but she ignores him.He continues copying the notes thinking ~What's wrong with her?I don't know what I did,but we are going to talk about it....~(A/N:He doesn't notice it,but he is hurting her A LOT!!).He finishes his notes the same time as Selphie

She looks at Irvine remembering when he told her to stay away from her.....but look now....he's smiling at her,and nudging her she asks herself ~What's wrong with him?!~ she then taps her pen on the desk looking around the room waiting fro the class to end.

Before Professor Quistis dismisses them she says "Don't forget to read pages 100-150 tonight for homework!!You are dismissed."All the people in the class leave the classroom.

Selphie hurries towards the lunch room,so that she makes it in time for the meeting to talk.Selphie doesn't realize till she hits the lunch room that she still love Irvine and is actually happy that she is going to talk to him.

Irvine sees her approaching the table he's sitting at...alone.She sets her things down as she sits crossing her legs.Irvine starts the conversation with "Hey..." she replies with a shy "Hi.".They sit there for a few minutes looking at each other.Selphie then asks "So,what did you want to talk about?" Irvine smiles replying "I'm glad you said that.It's about what has happened...-I know...I said stay away from me,but Selphie I still love you and,I can't stay away from oyu,but can't be with you,because I don't know if The Rumors are true."Selphie sits there in silence in shock for a few moments.....she then replies slowly "Irvine....you already know that I love you....and that I would NEVER cheat on you....its not true....it really isn't.Right now I don't know what I'm going to do without you.....and that's all I think about now is...you."Irvine and her sit there thinking.Irvine thinks~Oh Selphie I want you so bad....but I don't know if I can trust you anymore...~,while Selphie thinks~I wish we could be together....but you decided to believe the people over your girlfriend....~.Selphie sighs a bit before they continue the conversation.Irvine then replies with a smile that fades "I'm sorry,but until I find out what relaly happens I don't think we can be together till then...I'm sorry Selphie..."Irvine then picks his stuff up walks away and pats her on the back,as he does Selphie grabs his hand and syas with a said tone in her voice "I still....and will always love you Irvine...please,don't leave me in the dark...".Irvine looks at her with a shocked look on his face "You're not in the dark Selp..." he walks away slowly and sadly.Selphie's eyes well up with tears and burst out crying running out the cafeteria entrance.Irvine sees her past crying((A/N:Again...)).

Selphie runs,runs,runs and runs until shes outside on the school benches.She sits there thinking~Why would someone do such an awful thing to her?She never did anything wrong.....unless someone was jealous and decided to spread rumors....~thinks~.Selphie stands and wipes the tears away form her eyes as she says with pride "I will find out who spread these rumors even if I have to hurt someone...".Selphie walks toward the school getting out a notepad and pen.......((A/N:To find out what she is writing you'll have to read the next chapter.....im so evil...))
