Chapter 5

As Selphie enters the school, walking proudly, she finishes writing a list of people's names:

*Melanie

*Zak

*Toria

*Jenacia

*Kilana

*Rick

Selphie sees Seifer, and she tries to avoid him but he notices her too. He starts to walk up to her slowly, she then gets starts walking faster at a nervous pace. He runs up and stops in front of her guarding her way of getting away. He smirks at her "Well...what do we have here? I heard you and Irvine split."Selphie glares at him saying with a serious voice "So? You care because?", Seifer grins with satisfaction "I care because, I was thinking maybe you and me could get together sometime."He slides his fingers on her face as if being romantic. Selphie jerks backwards and hits his hadn out of the way walking past him saying in a firm tone "You can wake up now!!! Dream on jerk!!", Seifer than yells, in a pretend-scared voice "OH WAIT YOUR RIGHT!!! I DON'T WANT TO GET CHEATED ON LIKE IRVINE!!". Selphie then turns around and growls furiously, then flicks him off "FUCK YOU SEIFER!!!"She continues to walk off madly as he laughs boldly then yells back "ANYTIME!!".

When Selphie gets to her dormitory she runs to her bed and jumps on it sobbing badly. Selphie slowly drifts into sleep, with tears still rolling down her face...

Selphie wakes from her alarm and looks to the clock. She notices that it is 8:50, Selphie's eyes grow wide "Oh no, I'M GOING TO BE LATE!!". Selphie runs grabbing a muffin, then to her bathrom brushing her teeth and combing her hair out. She grabs her back pack sees the clock: 8:55. She runs out the door eager to get to class ~thinks~ How could I be so stupid!! Why didn't I set my alarm earlier! ~thinks~. Selphie reaches her class before the late bell rings "Phew..". She jogs to her seat by Irvine. She looks to him, then smiles sweetly, Irvine smiles back. Professor Quistis announces "Get your notebooks out, you have notes to take."Selphie grabs her pen and notebook as she unwraps her muffin and takes a piece of it off and eats it. Irvine looks at the muffin ready to devour it, Selphie then scoots the muffin over to him offering for him to eat too. He smiles then takes a piece and jokingly eats it all sexually like, they both giggle at each other. Selphie scrambles through her thoughts, remembering the good times her and Irvine had and still have now.

After the lunch bell rings Selphie stands zipping her backpack up. Irvine then winks at her and motions her over, she nods in approval. When selphie approaches there Irvine whispers in her ear "Will join me and my friends at lunch?"she replies with a smile "Yes I shall..".

When they get to the lunch room, Selphie spots Seifer and she ducks. Seifer still notices her sitting down with Irvine, he grins sheepishly at Selphie then walks over to Irvine and her table "Well hello there Selphie."she rolls her eyes "Leave me alone Seifer..". Seifer chuckles "Why? I thought me and you were friends!"she looks at him with a firm look in her eye "I said go away Seifer.."he then sits by her and touches her shoulder, Irvine then whacks Seifer's hand off her "You heard the girl Seifer!! Now leave, before I drop you.". Seifer gets a pissed-look in his eye "Back off man!!". They both stand like it's war, getting ready to battle. Selphie stands in the middle of them both "Stop!! Seifer leave I don't want anything to do with you ok?"Selphie says as she pushes him back. Seifer looks to Irvine "You'll regret that you did that.."Selphie growls with anger "No he won't because if you touch him, you'll have to deal with me.."she glares at him with madness in her eyes. After Seifer leaves, everyone joins Selphie and Irvine eating their food joking, laughing and talking.

Selphie and Irvine walk out of the Cafeteria laughing. She smiles at Irvine and he smiles back. Selphie slowly says "I want you so bad Irvine...I miss you...your touch..your jokes.."Irvine saddens "I'm sorry..I have to go now Selp.."as he turns to leave she grabs his arm and turns him around. When he turns their soft lips meet and she hugs his body and passionately kisses him. When she lets go she runs off and begins to cry and Irvine yells "SELPHIE!!! DON'T DO THIS TO ME!!! DON'T MAKE ME REGRET THIS!!!".
