Chapter 1: Introductions of Tacticians

I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M LATE!!! I blame the stupid thing that I encountered! It looked so weird, like something from a child's fantasy.... What am I saying? I'm a child at heart. Yet, when I was young, I acted so mature in my age, my father said I acted like my mother when she was young. My mother taught me so many things as a child; I guess I had no time to be one. I have many traits of my mother; it's probably the reason why I got accepted to UMTM.

I come from Renais, raised in the town both my mother and father were raised. Both of them were in the war of the demon king and will remain my heroes. I would always ask my mom or dad to tell me the story of their journey in a bedtime story. My mom would always say it in more detail. I entered the UMTM because I wanted to make my parents proud. I couldn't learn any of the magic they taught me, especially the dark magic; it gives me the creeps. But I was intelligent in the many eyes of my village. I tried being a tactician and look where I turned out to be.

" I'm here!" I yelled.

The man who was waiting for me looked at me and walked up to me, " Are you my partner the UMTM sent?"

" Yes, my name is Jira " I said in between breaths.

He started to poke my shoulder," What took you so long? We were expected to be in the battlefield 10 minutes ago."

" Um..... I had to do some personal business," I told him," You know us girls, we take or time," or he wouldn't believe me. We just barely met.

" Well, before we go onto the battlefield," he got my hand and shook it," My name is Max. And next time, try not to be late," he started running in the battlefield," What are you waiting for, Jira? Is it something personal? Well, hurry up."

" Wait for me!" I said," I'm still tired from running!"



I really don't want to write the battle scene. I'm so lazy!
