Chapter 3- The Arrival
~6:32 A.M. Tokiya dreaming ~
"Tokiya-chan hurry follow me," ordered the young brunette who grabbed her confused brother deeper into the house.
"Why nee-chan? What's happening?" questioned the puzzled little boy. There was a continuous knocking on the door.
"Everything's going to be okay, now be a good boy and listen to whatever I say okay? There are dangerous men outside of our house and when they break in here we're going to make a run for it all right?" In return the boy obeyed and nodded even though he was scared stiff. But to reassure himself he knew that his sister would be there to protect him no matter what. To cover his fear of this turn of events his curiosity kicked in.
"Nee-chan why are they here?"
"Shush, Tokiya-chan this is not the time to ask questions," she replied with a worried face.
"Stay here and stay low until I tell you to go." She then ran to a drawer and took out a small foreign object that the boy had never seen before and placed it in her pocket. A deafening crash was heard when the door was broken down.
"Where are you little brats! We know you're around here somewhere. There's no point in hiding because we know about the Ensui," said a deep voice. Mifiyu held on to her brother for their dear life when the strangers approached them.
"So there you are, give us the Ensui you little bitch!" cried one of the assassins.
"I don't know what you're talking about," replied the frightened girl.
"Sure you don't." And then someone pulled out a knife and was about to strike the boy.
"Noo Tokiya-chan!" She then leaped in front of her only sibling to take the blow, which had sliced through her back splattering a terrifying amount of blood. "Onee-chaan!!!" screamed the traumatized boy as he watched his beloved sister fall and his entire life quickly tumbling down with her…
"No!" cried Tokiya as he rose from his bed drenched with sweat. He wearily raked his hand through his long, silver hair. When will this ever end

(Koganei's P.O.V.)
Koganei is standing in front of Tokiya's door. Why of all people I get landed with Tokiya-san…isn't it just my luck. Taking a deep breath he gave a knock on the door. Shortly enough he was suddenly faced with a pair of cold, grey eyes.
"So you've finally got here. Where are the monkeys? Surely they wouldn't let one of their so-called buddies go alone." He was leisurely leaning against the doorway wearing a silver loose dress shirt and a pair of black formal slacks. His eyes slowly raked Koganei down from head to toe, then back up again. He hasn't changed much. He's grown a little taller, but his hair is messy as usual. He still looks like an innocent kid, except his eyes tell a different story. Looks like he's been through a lot during the time that he left.
Koganei was suddenly feeling very awkward under the older boy's quiet scrutiny. Unlike the others, he had a feeling Tokiya expected something was wrong with him. To avoid being further inspected he answered his question.
"Hi Tokiya-san. Well Yanagi-chan took me here, but she had to leave so she wouldn't be late going to her preschool."
Actually Recca seeing that his Hime was going to Tokiya's he wanted to go as well, but Kagero-san stopped him from doing that, knowing he and Tokiya were not the greatest of friends they would most likely start a fight.
With the mention of Yanagi, Tokiya's eyes were suddenly less hard than before. He broke his eye contact with Koganei and then he walked out of the way and let Koganei in.
Koganei walked in expecting the place to be somewhat normal like all the other houses he's been; well he was in for a surprise. Tokiya's house was huge, not literally, but the lack of furniture caused the house to look bigger than it really was. On the right, occupying the living room, there lay only a sofa and a table in front of it. On the left, was the kitchen which seemed barren, as if nobody had bothered cooking in it since the day the owner bought this house. What irked Koganei the most was that there was not a single photo in sight. No decoration, no nothing. It was completely empty. The purpose of buying this house was clearly understood. The owner wanted a place to sleep in not a place to live in.
Tokiya swiftly closed the door and started to walk down the hallway towards the bedrooms not caring whether the boy followed him or not. Snapping Koganei from his earlier examination of the house, he quickly followed the long-haired man carrying his Kougan-Anki on his back. Both eventually reached the end of the hallway, which led to three doors.
Pointing to the far left of the three Tokiya said, "Here's the bathroom you will be using. I have a bathroom of my own in my bedroom. So there's no need to worry about sharing. My bedroom is right next to it. You are prohibited from ever entering it unless you have my permission. And the last room will be your room."
He then retrieved a key from his pant pocket and unlocked the door. Inside was a full size bed in the center of the room, a window right on top of the bed, and a little door on the right, which can be assumed as the closet. The room itself was small, but Koganei wasn't going to complain. This was after all, all he needed. He didn't carry anything with him except his treasured Kougan-Anki. So he was easily satisfied. Tokiya on the other hand feeling there was nothing else to say he left the boy to his own accord, and retreated to his room, closing the door behind him. Leaving Koganei alone to deal with his new life living with Tokiya. What have I gotten myself into? What he didn't know was that in the room next to him the silver-haired boy was thinking the same exact thing.
