Fruits Basket Fan Fiction ❯ Raped Love ❯ Search ( Chapter 5 )

[ Y - Young Adult: Not suitable for readers under 16 ]
Authoress Note: I put this under self insertion because even though I don't live the life of the character, she resembles me in every other possible way. This would basically be me if my family was dead and I lived with an abusive and perverted cousin. Just don't get the idea that I have been raped or abused or anything. I live a pretty good life.

Disclaimer: I don't own Fruits Basket or any reference to anything that already exists. Please don't sue me. My computer is my most valuable possession, and it's a piece of crap.

A/N: Thank you so much May-Veggiegirl1, Kurama13, Artic_Fox999, BabiBoricua, and Shiugre for reviewing this fic. I would also like to give special thanks to my friend, whose nickname is Mimiru, who keeps pushing me to write. Sorry it’s taken me a while to update, but I’ve had writers’ block. Now I finally have an idea. Go me!.

Yuki awoke to the sounds of sobs. Tohru didn’t cry at night, Yuki knew this. She didn’t want anyone to worry about her. Even she knew that it might wake someone up. Kyo had too much pride to cry where anyone might hear, and he was probably on the roof, anyways. Shigure slept downstairs. That only left one person in the house: Savannah.
‘Why would she be crying?’ he thought. ‘She was so happy earlier.’ Then he remembered she was young and that she was away from her home. ‘Well, that does make a little sense.’
Yuki silently got out of his bed and walked into the hallway. The sounds were coming from the bathroom. He quietly made his way to the restroom door and knocked.
“Go away!” screamed the voice of Savannah. But it wasn’t the personality Yuki was used to. It was muffled and choked with tears.
“It’s me, Yuki. Is there something wrong?”
“Leave me alone!” she whimpered. It was obvious from her tone that she wanted help, but didn’t want to seem weak.
“It’s ok, um...Savannah. Can I come in?”
“Fine....”
Yuki was relieved she allowed him to assist her in whatever was the matter. He wanted to be helpful. The rat opened the door to see Savannah crying on the floor.
“Um...uh...are you alright?” asked Yuki worriedly.
“No, I’m just sitting here on the floor crying for no reason whatsoever,” added the girl on the floor sarcastically, although the tears continued to flow.
“What’s wrong?”
“Ok, Kyo just...upset me, that’s all....”
“What did he do to you?!”
“Nothing! I swear! I was...unhappy and came outside. He saw me and started asking questions. I wouldn’t tell him anything so his anger got the best of him and he pinned me. It...reminded me of what...was wrong.... I started the waterworks and ran up here after yelling at him.”
“Oh, that stupid cat will get it tomorrow, I swear,” Yuki hissed under his breath as he grabbed Tohru’s strawberry towel and tried to wipe Savannah’s face.
“I’m not a baby, Yuki. I can take care of myself. Don’t beat up Kyo. It’s my fault,” Savannah said as she grabbed the towel from him and roughly scrubbed her visage.
“How is it your fault that you wanted to keep a secret and he wouldn’t let you?”
“I should have told all of you. I should have...but I still won’t. I’m sorry to trouble you, Yuki. Goodnight,” she answered as she pushed her way passed Yuki.

Meanwhile, back in Savannah’s dimension, her friend Mimiru came looking for her. After much searching, she had managed to find her address. It wasn’t in the school or public phone directories. ‘That cousin she lives with must like his privacy. I had to hack some stuff in order to find the address,’ the girl thought as she walked up the stairs of the apartment building and knocked on the door. Savannah’s cousin opened the door.
“Who are you? I don’t wan any Girl Scout Cookies,” he said icily.
“I’m a friend of Savannah’s. My name is Mimiru. She wasn’t in school today or yesterday, and I was wondering if she was sick or something.”
At this the man grabbed Mimiru and pulled her inside, throwing her to the ground as he slammed the door. “What did she tell you?” he growled at the girl.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” she said, scratching her head in confusion as she rubbed her shoulder. She was sure a bruise would form from his tough grip.
“Sure you don’t,” he said with a snarl. “Well I honestly don’t know where she went. There was a storm with lightning. A flash and then she was gone.”
“I honestly don’t know what you would be hiding from me except your fierce temper.”
“Stop lying, Bitch!” he screamed as he smacked her. She was temporarily shocked and he took advantage to hit her again, this time with a fist. She got up and kicked him in the gut, but wasn’t strong enough to stop him. He came at her and threw her down. Her head hit the tv and with that she vanished.

A/N: I know it’s short, but my friend was begging me to let her in and it was a good place to stop. Please review! Please!
