It's the day of the `Blossoming Trio's' high school reunion. Ayame gets surprising visitors at his shop, who are there to buy dresses for that night. However, they are not regular customers, and Ayame could have sworn he'd seen them somewhere before! And he was right. After they paid for their dresses, they placed a spell on him so, when he is a man, his hair changes to the color of his mood, and, when he's a snake, his skin color changes every seven seconds. How can he get rid of this spell before his hair is ruined for life?

Chapter One

A/N: Fruits Basket is not mine. The whole thing belongs to its wonderful creator, Natsuki Takaya. Only a few minor characters and Po and Crystal are mine! I'm not going to copyright any of my characters because…who would want to borrow my creations? Oh well, enjoy!

"Ayame!" Tohru Honda called. She and Yuki Sohma walked through the front door to Ayame's dress shop.

Ayame poked his head out of the back room and beamed at seeing his brother.

"Yuki!" he called. He ran to the main part of the room, and grasped Yuki in a big, bear hug. "You've come to visit your big brother? I feel so happy!"

Yuki gasped as Ayame squeezed at `happy', "Uh, Aya?" he croaked.

Tohru's eyes widened. She cautiously began poking at Ayame's arm.

"I'm so happy that you decided to see me for no reason at all," Ayame said.

"Actually, Ayame," Tohru said, holding a basket full of fruit, "Shigure sent us to give you food. He's told us that you haven't eaten in a while."

Ayame's eyes widened. "You brought me lunch, too?" he asked Yuki. "Awe, you do like me!" If he hugged Yuki any more, Tohru could swear that his eyes would pop out of his head.

"Let me go!" Yuki pushed Ayame away and stepped behind Tohru, who held up the basket.

Ayame sighed and took the basket defeatedly. "I'm afraid it's true, Miss Honda," he said, looking at the contents of the basket. "I have been busy more than three days in a row." He walked to the cashier's counter and set the basket down.

"Okay, let's go, while he's busy." Yuki began leaving, but Tohru grabbed his arm and pulled him over to Ayame.

"Why?" she asked.

Ayame sighed. "You know? I don't know."

"That's smart," Yuki mumbled.

The three of them were silent as a bell sounded. Ayame quickly skipped to the newcomers.

"Hello! Welcome my shop," he greeted.

The two women snickered.

"Okay, he has customers," Yuki told Tohru. "Can we go now?"

Tohru sighed. "All right, Yuki." They moved towards the door.

"Ayame had moved the two women to a rack where he showed off dresses that he knew they would like.

"Bye, Ayame!" Tohru called.

"And this one looks just lovely on you," Ayame said. "Goodbye, Tohru, Yuki!" He waved to them, and quickly went back to tending to the two other women. "You know, you two look oddly familiar."

He was sure he had seen these two before. The taller one had long, black hair with green highlights, and was pulled back into a high ponytail. The shorter one had dirty blonde hair that she let fall freely. Both women were pale, and both had violet eyes. He just couldn't pinpoint how, when, and where he saw these two before.

"Mr. Sohma," the taller one said, "do you have this dress in either black or green?" She held up an evening gown that fell all the way to the ground and shimmered.

Ayame took the dress and examined it. "I think so. Let me go check. Now, you two don't go anywhere. I'll be right back!" With that, he disappeared into the back room.

The short blonde sighed. She grabbed a dress and held it in front of her, and she stood in front of a mirror. "I can't believe how old he's gotten."

"Old physically, not mentally," the taller one said, watching her sister twirl in front of the mirror.

"I didn't know he was this hot!"

"First of all, we haven't seen him in ten years, so of course he's going to look more appealing to you. Second of all, he's a Sohma, what would you expect? All Sohmas are beautiful."

"If that's the case, I really hop that girl who was here earlier wan not a Sohma."

"I agree."

"Here you are!" Ayame said, walking back to them, holding a black dress, and a green dress. "I honestly think that this black one will do for you." He held up the dress next to the taller one.

She grabbed the dress from him and stood in front of another mirror, admiring the dress. She looked Ayame and smiled.

"To answer your earlier question, Ayame," she said, "we are familiar."

"I knew it! So, where have we met before? At a bar? At the market place?"

"Why don't we pay for our things first?"

Ayame led the two girls to the cashier's counter, and they paid for the dresses. As soon as he closed the register, he stared at the two.

"Who are you?"

"Here's a hint…"

The two pointed their fingers at him.

"The hair will change from mood when a man," the tall one said.

"The skin will change every seventh second when a snake," the blonde said.

A bolt of blue lightening shot through their fingers and engulfed Ayame in a blue light.

Ayame looked around. All he could see was blue. He got a strange tingling feeling in his body. He suddenly became nervous. What was happening to him?

Just as quickly as it came, the blue light disappeared, as did the two witches. He looked around the shop; it was empty. He then looked down at himself. Everything seemed okay, until a strand of light blue hair fell in his eyes. He blinked and looked in a mirror. His hair quickly changed from light blue to purple as he felt like screaming.

He ran out of his shop, holding his hands to his hair.

"Po, do you think we were too harsh? I think he's crying."

"Why would you think we've been too harsh? I'm going to enjoy this little reunion, Crystal. We better go get ready.
