[ P - Pre-Teen ]

Kura poked the glass of the train window, thoroughly bored. Yes she was on the train to Central, but she couldn’t really do anything besides sleep and talk. Ed had escorted her here and upon figuring out she was going to Central, he insisted on going with her, saying he was headed there himself. Unfortunately, on the way, he got himself buried in a book and wasn’t much of a taker.
Kura sighed sadly. When she was alone, her past caught up with her. She hated her memories. They were something to be feared…something not to be brought up. Suddenly, the train jerked to a stop, Kura cried out and flew from her seat.
Kura opened her dark blue eyes to see Ed staring back at her. She had fallen into his lap! Ed and Kura blushed in unison, a deep red that covered their entire faces. Kura tried to get up, but only succeeded into falling ungraciously to the floor.
“Ugh,” she uttered, thoroughly disgusted with herself. She had just fallen into someone’s, no, a really hot guys lap and all she could do was fall out and land on her butt.
“You okay miss, um,” Ed offered his hand.
“Kura.” Kura supplied, taking his hand.
“Miss Kura, are you okay?” Ed asked, pulling Kura up.
“Ye-woah!” Kura tripped over the hem of her skirt as soon as she was pulled up, and fell into Ed’s arms. She and Ed stood there for a moment, Ed just holing her still. “Um, Ed? You can let go now.” Kura whispered shyly.
“Oh, right, so-” Ed began, but was interrupted by someone pointing a gun at Kura’s head.
“I told you I’d teach you a lesson. Even if it meant hunting you down.” Kura’s brother’s cold voice seemingly echoed throughout the train.
Oh great! Just great. Kura thought angrily. I know what’ll happen after this! My lousy brother will tell him all about mom’s death and Ed’ll kill him and me!
