((Chapter 11))

Dawn was barely lighting the sky when Riza walked in the next morning.

"Good morning Colonel Hawkeye..." The soldier who was greeting her trailed off. She only smiled in return.

"Well, that was an interesting night, wasn't it?" Havoc blew a puff of smoke in the air. He always had a damn smoke in his mouth.

Roy nodded and opened the paper before him.

Heymans was sitting across from him and they were all talking when the heard something in the hall way. It wasn't something loud but it couldn't be ignored. Someone was walking by when Roy looked up, taking a sip of his coffee and he only got a glimpse but he was sure...

Roy made a choking sound and Havoc cursed out loud as his cigarette fell, burning his hand.

"Was that..." Heymans got up.

"No. NO way." Fuery, Roy, Havoc and Heymans all hurried to the door and looked out, they were al hunched together in the door, looking out into the hall way.

"No...that wasn't her. She isn't even here." Roy almost sighed in relief. Of course not, that would have been way too much to hope for.

His hope was short lived as they saw someone walk out of Hawkeyes office. "Shes here...otherwise her office would be locked..."

Surely Roy had been imagining it because when he had glimpsed someone in the hall way he had seen an image of long shapely, good as hell, legs. No way in hell.

Roy, Havoc, Fuery and Heymans all rushed out into the hall way and down to her office. Sure enough the found her sitting behind her desk and going through four stacks of papers. She looked up as they came in and Roy noticed something...

Riza picked up half of one stack of papers and began rifling through it. Havoc leaned close to Roy. "I think shes wearing that...bra..." He coughed. Riza didn't even look up as she spoke. "Havoc. Keep your eyes above, or I swear..." She deliberatly trailed off and Havoc jerked his gaze up.

She stood up then, picking up the smallest stack of papers. Havocs cigarette fell to the floor and his mouth fell open. Heymans muttered something under his breath. Fuery was quiet but his eyes widened. Blood trickled down Roys nose.

Riza smiled, dropping the small stack of papers into Fuerys hands and against Roys better judgement, his eyes traveled down her entire body. There was no doubt that she was wearing that bra he had gotten her...what about under the skirt. He had never thought for once that she would actually wear one of the mini skirts he had bought her..."God all mighty..." Roy muttered and upon hearing that Riza smiled. But damn, Riza had sexy legs...

Riza dapped at the blood under Roys nose. "Is something wrong, Sir?" He then groaned when Riza dropped the biggest stack of papers in his hands. He knew he would pay for last night.

Once she had given them all there stack of papers she sat behind the desk once again. "I need them all down today. Originally, they needed to be done within an hour but lucky I am nice and I have given you all today to finish them all."

When none of the left, obviously still shocked, they heard the click of a gun and they all turned as one and quickly exited the room. Roy leaned in the door way not even a minute later. "Great legs. You should wear a skirt more often..." He was jerked back out into the hall way by Havoc, but not before he heard her last remark.

"And that was quiet a kiss, Sir."

An hour after that Riza was back into her original uniform, there was no use in torturing Roy anymore than that, she'd done what she had set out to do. "I do believe it served him right." Falman said from across the room, looking over a few files and some things he'd gotten earlier on in the day.

"Perhaps." In all the years they had known each other, one would say, that was the closest she had ever come to flirting. "I don't think it served me right, unless you are going to be wearing a mini skirt everyday..." He smiled innocently. Riza arched an eyebrow.

Havoc looked between the two. "You know, Mustang, in all the years of you two knowing each other, you have never-" Falman cut him off directly. "Sir, they've caught him."

"Caught who?" Roy took the files from Falman but he already knew. "The Butcher, from Crimson City. Their holding him in the Central Prison until they can transport him to Crimson City." Roy grabbed his coat. "I think were going to pay a visit..."

There were whispers going around as they walked between the row of jail cells. No doubt wondering why the military was paying a visit here. When the stopped at he cell at the very end, someone across from them called out. "You must be popular here to have them visiting you!"

They ignored him and turned to the cell containing the one they had come to see. He didn't look like a killer, he looked like any other normal person. His head was bald and he was a little short but that was all. Besides his eyes. Something about them wasn't right, in there blue depths they looked empty. Something akin to madness lurked there.

He moved forward upon seeing them but he didn't go the middle of the bars. He went straight to the right side where Riza stood. He smiled. "Riza." His fingers squeezed the bars between his hands. "I was hoping you would come to visit me..." His voice was ghastly but the way he looked at her, wasn't right. "I was so hoping to meet you sometime." He smiled.

Roy frowned but didn't speak, Havoc looked over at him but kept quiet.

"My names Harry...god...I've been waiting...wanting to meet you..." He continued on.

"You didn't really think you could get away with this, did you?" Roy spoke.

Harry finally turned his gaze on him and smiled. "Oh, but I have. I have...don't you think shes perfect? I bet she has great legs...and those breast...god..." They didn't have any time, they didn't think he would have done it but before Roy could move forward they caught the glimpse of metal. He reached out through the bars, grasping tightly onto Rizas left arm. The blade slashed cleanly through the clothing there, cleanly through her flesh. "Shes just PERFECT..." The cut was clean and a hissing sound sound escaped Rizas lips. The barrel of her gun was pointing directly at him as the blood trickled down her arm, Roy held him by the throat as guards rushed down the row. "You bastard!" Roy muttered.

Havoc pulled Roy back. "They can handle it, Roy." Riza lowered her gun and clamped a hand over the wound, just now starting to feel the sting of the cut.

Roy moved her arm and pushed her sleeve up. "Are you alright?" She pulled her arm away as Havoc handed her his hankerchief, she folded it and held it over the wound. "I'm fine."

He started laughing. "Its sad they caught me." He called out to them. "Your hair is so soft...and your skin..." Riza felt the urge to shoot him but she didn't. "Come on, lets go."

"I'm fine. I've had worse and you know it." She rolled down her sleeve, careful of the bandage there.

Havoc leaned back in one of the chairs in Roys office. "He seemed to be real taken with you."

"Yes. I noticed." Riza said it driely. How could she not have known? He wouldn't be quiet about her, he'd even tried to take her arm off.

He had seemed to know quiet abit about her...like he had been intrigued by her...studying her. Roy knew without a doubt that "Harry" had been planning on Riza being one of his victims. "I'm just glad he was caught when he was."

Riza looked up at his words but didn't say anything.
