Celine sat in the hospital room with Ed and the others waiting outside. Lilly never took her eyes off the door and the look on her face never changed. She looked serious and prepared for anything. Ed looked at her and then at the door. Al and Winry were sitting side by side and whispering to eachother about something Ed couldn't make out. The door opened and the doctor and walked out. Lilly looked passed him at Celine who was crying on the bed in the room. Ed walked up to the doctor with the others following him.
"I'm sorry to inform you but..." The doctor began.
"The baby is dead and Celine is in risk of dieing too." Lilly said cutting him off.
The doctor and the others looked at Lilly with shock but Lilly kept her eyes on Celine.
"How...how did you know that?" The doctor asked.
Lilly didn't answer.
"Lilly is very....uhhh....different." Ed said looking at Lilly. "What is going on with Celine and what happen to the baby?" Ed asked now looking at the doctor as if it was his fault.
"The baby died about a month ago and Celine didn't know. Usually when this would happen the woman would go into labor as soon as the baby died but in Celine's case, she had no idea. She did tell me that she noticed that the baby wasn't active as usual but this was her first pregnacy and she thought it was natural. We have to get the baby out as soon as possible. Celine has had the dead baby in her for so long that it has put her at risk. If we aren't carefull, she could die." The doctor said. Winry began to cry and Al held her close. "I am truly sorry."
The doctor left and Ed and the others went in to see Celine. Ed rubbed her back and held her close. Lilly stood at the door way and stared at Celine. Celine looked up at her and motioned for her to come in. Lilly hesitated but walked in. She never took her eyes off Celine's stomack.
"Lilly, are you ok?" Celine asked.
"I didn't even notice that it was dead the first time I touched it. I could have prevented you from being harmed." Lilly said in tears.
"Oh, Lilly! Don't blame yourself! I am going to be fine, you'll see. I'll be better in no time." Celine said.
Lilly stood a distance from her. Celine held out her hands for her but Lilly only took a step back.
"I don't want to touch you, I am scared that I may find you heart to be faint or you pulse to be slowing....I just can't!" Lilly yelled then ran out crying.
"Lilly!" Celine called.
Ed shot up.
"I'll be back before you have to get the baby out." Ed said looking at her.
"I know, now go find her befor she gets to far." Celine told him and pointed to the door.
Ed nodded and left while Al and Winry stayed behind to be with Celine.

Ed found Lilly running down the road crying. He claped his hands and placed them on the ground. Suddenly, a wall appeared in front of Lilly. She almost ran into it but stoped just in time and fell backwards on her butt. Ed claped his hands again and touched the ground. The wall went away and Ed ran to Lilly he helped her up and fell to his knees in front of her. He pulled her into his arms as she cryed and griped tightly to his jacket.
"Hush now, Lilly. Everything is ok now. Everything will be just fine." Ed whispered.
How Lilly wished that what he said was true. She knew that there was a possiblity that Celine would die and even if it was a small possiblity, it was big enough to worry about.

Winry, Al, Ed, and Lilly sat in the waiting room as Celine went into surgery. The doctor told them that it would take longer than usual since it the baby had been in her for this long. They wanted to be careful with each moment they had so Celine wouldn't be in danger. Ed and Al fought with the doctor about the time. The doctor never gave a specific time for Celine's surgery and it scared them all to death. Winry called Mustang to tell him the news and he passed it on to everyone else. He told her that he would be up there as soon as he could but he was swamped in paper work. He sounded just as worried as everyone else, but Ed told Winry to tell Mustang to take his time on the paper work. Mustang mummbled something about it being about Ed and that's why Ed wanted him to take his time. Once Winry mentioned it to Ed, he tryed to change the subject.
Hours passed and still no news. Lilly was now pacing and mummbling something about Celine and the baby. Ed tryed his best to calm her nevers but it only made things worse. Al and Winry left to get some food for everyone but when they came back they found Lilly passed out in Ed's arms. Ed was sitting down and holding her close. Al came up to them and looked down at Ed. He was smiling.
"What happened to her, Brother?" Al asked.
"She was still pacing and pacing. Then out of the blue she turned to me with tears in her eyes and said she loved me. Then she passed out right as I was about to say it back. I think that she was just really tired since all of this was so sudden." Ed said.
"Why are you smiling?" Winry asked taking a bit of her food.
"Because the way she looked at me. I haven't seen her look at me like that in so long. I almost forgot how good it feels." Ed said still smiling.
Winry looked at Al and smiled. Al helped Ed lay Lilly on a few chairs then they all began to eat. A few minutes later, Lilly woke and Ed forces her to eat. Lilly kept looking down the hall at the door she knew Celine was in. Ed brushed her hair back and gave her a smile. Lilly hoped in his lap of comfort and Ed welcomed her with open arms. Lilly knew that Ed was hurting just as much as is was, but was only hiding it. She saw a few baby things in his room earlyer that day. She knew he was excited to be having a baby, but he only tried to hide it. She wasn't sure why. Lilly snuggled against Ed's chest as he pulled her closer.
Soon, everyone had fallen asleep.

"We did all that we could but...." The doctor looked at their watery eyes. "I'm sorry, she didn't make it."
"Your lieing!!" Lilly screamed. "Go check again! She isn't dead! She was just alive! You didn't check right!" Lilly cryed and Ed held her back from the doctor.
"I am truly sorry, but she died right after we finished. We checked many times but she was gone." The doctor said.
"No! He's lieing, Ed!" Lilly cryed looking at Ed.
Ed looked at the doctor and tryed to hold back his tears.
"Thank you doctor. You did all you could and for that we are thankful." Ed said.
The doctor nodded and left. Al held Winry close as they cryed. Ed pulled Lilly into an embrass then began to whisper small 'oks' in her ear. Lilly screamed and cryed. Ed looked over at Al and motioned for his help. With on hit in the back of the head by Ed, Lilly passed out. Al helped her into Ed's arms. He took Winry's hand then kissed her wet cheeks. They walked out covered in sorrow and tears.
This didn't turn out the way I wanted it. I think I could have wrote it better. Some of you may be mad that I killed Celine, and I am truly sorry. But this is my story and I want it to go this way.
