Reassurance

Please don't cry,

Please don't be sad.

You might not like what I'll say,

I'm sure you'll get mad.

It wasn't all your fault,

I'm to blame too.

Both of us messed up,

But we didn't know what to do.

Mother always said, “Never give up on your dreams.”

You must've took that to heart,

And even though we tried to do good,

What was left was torn apart.

I love you, Brother

I hope you know,

That'll never change,

And I hope it always shows.

And I'll stand by you,

From here to the end,

And even though we're already family

I'll always be your friend.
