Chapter Four: Death

It was dark when Terri woke up. She glanced around her surroundings to see that there was practically nothing. She heard footsteps and tried to work her bounding with no avail. The door opened and she saw who it was that walked in. A man about 5' 6” walked in. He had long green hair and purple eyes. The grin on his face was pure evil and he looked at Terri with a hunger in his eyes. Without warning he raised his foot and kicked Terri in the face. She could feel the blood trickling down her slit lip and she spat out blood.

 

“Hello there Terri, I hope your accommodations are acceptable, I mean, Hell, we could have placed you in a coffin, but The Boss wouldn't like that now would she?” He smiled again and kicked her in the head. She tilted over and hit her head on the ground. As her vision started to fade she heard one last thing from him.

 

“Your sex toy is coming to rescue you, and that short Alchemist,”

 

 

“Where are the Homunculi hiding Hughes?” Roy shouted as they ran to the base to get Edward.

 

“An old abandoned church three miles west of here, Roy, we're going to need a car.” Roy looked at his friend.

 

“We'll call Havoc when we get to Edward's,” They ran up the stairs to the dorms and Maes flung open the door.

 

“Fullmetal is on the third floor.” Roy said as he turned for the stairs and ran into someone.

 

“Sorry!” Said a soft kind voice.

 

“Alphonse, is Edward in his room?” Roy asked picking himself up then reaching for Alphonse.

 

“Yeah, he's sleeping though, why?” Alphonse asked looking into Roy's eyes.

 

“The Homunculi are back and they kidnapped Terri,” Alphonse's eyes grew wide.

 

 

“Terri, darling, drink up, I know you want to…” A lustful voice said as she handed Terri a glass of red liquid.

 

“Not if you paid me, I won't drink that shit!” Terri said as she tried to swat the glass away from the woman's hand.

 

“Envy, will you please?” She asked him kindly with malice dripping off each word.

 

“My pleasure.” He said as he slapped her in the face and grabbed it. The woman poured the drink down Terri's throat and the one called Envy held her nose. Terri swallowed every drop.

 

“That's a good girl,” The woman said and they laughed.

 

“Looks like the Boss will be here shortly, why don't we leave you here,” Envy said as he tied the gag back in her mouth and the two left. Terri's eyes started getting heavy as she tried to work her bindings again. The last thing she heard before passing out was.

 

“SHE'S MINE AT LAST!!!”

 

 

“How far is it Maes?” Roy asked him as he drove the car. Maes looked out the windshield and then back at his friend.

 

“Two blocks up,” He said as he checked his knives then looked back at Edward and Alphonse. Al was looking out the window calculating something and Edward was deep in thought.

 

“How am I going to fair against a house full of Homunculi? What am I supposed to do fire my slingshot at them?” Maes asked. Roy chuckled a little then retained his solemn face. Maes looked at his friend.

 

“Terri's going to be alright,” Maes told him as he patted him on the back.

 

“She better be, or I'll kill them all,” Roy told him as he pulled up to the church and turned the engine off. They ran up the stairs and Edward knocked the door down with a kick from his automail leg. They ran to the front of the church and saw Terri. She was tied to a statute of an old dead god. Roy started to run up to her but a figure jumped down from the rafters right in front of him.

 

“Hello flamey my name is Lust,” She smiled at him in an evil way.

 

“Let her go!” Roy shouted at the Homunculi.

 

“Unfortunately we can't darling, you see you have to make us a Philosopher's stone, then we will let her go.” Lust laughed at him.

 

“And if we don't?” Edward asked.

 

“She dies,” A new voice piped in. A shadow jumped down from the rafters.

 

“Envy, glad to meet you Shorty,” Envy grinned at him.

 

“Colonel, you aren't seriously thinking about doing this are you?” Edward asked Roy.

 

“I have to, Terri is everything to me,” Roy told him as he looked at Terri. He noticed that she wasn't conscious.

 

“She better be alive, let me talk to her before I do this,” Roy asked of them. The two homunculi looked at each other.

 

“Why don't you let him speak to her, it's not like she's dead.” A third voice spoke out.

 

“Pride, why did you have to show up now? You could have waited till we tortured him a little, geez you're no fun. Envy told him then sat down on the ground.

 

“Fine, you have ten minutes, then you will follow us downstairs,” Lust told him. She walked up to Terri and ungagged her.

 

“Sweetheart, your sex toy wants to talk to you, are you awake?” Roy looked at Terri's condition. There was a cut on her lip and right above her eye. Her eyes shot open and she growled at the Homunculi.

 

“Just because you have my mother's face doesn't make you her so don't call me sweetheart!” Terri growled at the Homunculi. Lust made a face but backed off. Roy stepped forward and Terri looked into his eyes.

 

“Are you alright? They didn't hurt you did they?” Roy asked her. She smiled then looked over to Edward.

 

“Edward I'm sorry for lying to you, I just didn't want you caught up in my past like Roy is, I don't like apathy.” She looked back at Roy.

 

“Don't do it, I'm not worth killing people over, I have soiled my hands in countless amount of people's blood, I don't deserve to live.” Terri told him.

 

“I'll get you out of this I promise.” Roy told her then he kissed her.

 

“Time's up lover boy, let's move,” Lust commanded him. Roy looked back at the sin. He raised his hand and snapped catching the sin on fire.

 

“ED!” Roy shouted. Edward clapped his hands together and set a transmutation circle on the floor. It was the Grand Arcanum. Roy moved to the right just in time to dodge a finger from Lust.

 

“Ha missed!” Roy shouted at the sin.

 

“No I didn't,” Roy's eyes opened wide in realization. He turned and saw blood pouring out of Terri's mouth.

 

“TERRI!!!!” Roy shouted. Time froze, he couldn't move his legs. Edward had activated the circle. The homunculi spat up their Red Stones. He rushed over to Terri and untied her.

 

“Terri, Terri speak to me!” Roy could feel the tears welling up.

 

“Live a long…and happy life…Roy…I have finally paid my dept…and now I…can rest in peace… Thanks to…you…” she went limp in his arms. He cradled her close to his body and cried. Tears from ages ago and now new tears overflowed from him. He could stop crying... Edward watched the whole mess with tears threatening to come out as well. Maes could only stand there and watch as his best friend had just lost the love of his life.

 

“NOT OVER YET!” Envy shouted and lunged towards Roy and Terri. Roy lifted his hand still looking down and fired the Homunculi into ashes. Turning quickly he snapped and fired Lust. Then he turned toward Pride. SNAP!!!

 

“Well that took care of them, we should go,” Maes said. Then insane laughter filled the room and the lights went out.

 

“YOU THINK THAT IS ALL OF US, YOU HAVN'T EVEN MET THE BOSS!!!” Came a voice from the dark.

 

“Oh and who would that be? You?” Edward asked her.

 

“Yes, that would be me, Hello my name is GREED!!!” A look of pure horror flashed on all three men's faces as the recondition sank in.

Oh my GOD!!! Cliffhanger… he he he. Who is Greed? Why do they recognize her voice? Because it's DANTE!!! J-K… no really I'm not going to tell you who it is. There are two chapters left in this story, can you stand to read it and find out. Well I wouldn't like to read it anymore I mean Terri the MAIN Character is dead. Right? These answers will be reveled in the next chapter. Chapter 5: the homunculi who's name is ******.
